-If the stars align and someone is not only near him but also sensing his lee mood he’ll nervously scoot away from them (he desperately wants them to tickle him)

-While being tickled he tries so hard to stifle his laughter (he fails spectacularly)

-Hides in his hoodie or in a blanket until either his lee leaves or the tickle drunk-ness wears off. Whichever comes last.

-He doesn’t strike me as anyone who’d ever be a ler

-But if he were he’d mainly use his nails to lightly scratch his lee

-He’s always quiet. No teases, no laughing, nothing. He just smiles softly the whole time.

-His aftercare is asking if they’re okay and pretending nothing happened after that (he will be thinking about their laughs and giggles for hours)

in hindsight, neither of them really knew how this happened. a rather foolish but interesting competition, in fact, but idia and azul were not quitters in the name of games. the two were feeling quite competitive today and had gone through nearly all the games, but that did not satiate their thirst for winning.

after a particularly painful defeat on idia’s part, azul had laughed at his dismay. under idia’s breath, he had said, “haha laugh it up.”

azul stopped laughing, smug smile still on his face. “should i not? what a rather.. humiliating defeat. should i comfort you instead?”

“as if. you wouldn’t be able to hold your laughter in,” idia grumbled.

“what an absurd statement. you act as though i laugh all the time.”

“wanna put it to the test?” idia rolled his eyes and before azul had a chance to respond, he had jumped over the couch and began tickling azul. azul gasped, but had not laughed and instead tried to tickle idia back, realizing the challenge.

which is why, the two were on the couch in the board game club, hands latched to the other’s sides, trying to make each other laugh first.

idia was more rash in his approach, roughly yet not painfully squeezing at azul’s sides. “i.. i will mahake y-you laugh!” idia glared at the other.

“not ihihif i g-get youhu to, f-fihirst..!” azul stuttered, biting his lip. his hands were more delicate and precise, skittering and spidering over idia’s body— his sides, his tummy, his ribs— with impressive haste.

seconds later, they became more and more desperate in their attempts, tossing and tumbling on the couch. it was a shock that they hadn’t fallen, but there was too much happenjng to think about that.

i’m going to win, each of them thought. an interesting competition, indeed.

6:30 am. School was going to begin soon. Idia had told Ortho and himself that he would try to get to school at least one time this week, but sevens the bed was comfy...

"Nii-san!" Ortho called, already in his school uniform. "Idia, c'mon, it's already Friday! You promised you would come to school with me today." He put his hands on his hips, looking down at his barely-awake brother.

"mmm... in a minute..." Idia groaned, his head going deeper into his pillow. He was definitely going to get up......... eventually.

"Please, Idia! Just one class, and you can go back to bed." Ortho sighed, pulling the blankets off Idia. "Wake up, Nii-san!"

Idia shivered, curling in on himself. "Ugh... Ortho..." He opened his eyes slightly, catching a glimpse of Ortho's disapproving stare. "I'll be up in a few..." Idia flipped over, shoving his face into his pillow for some comfort.

"Not in a few. Now, Idia! We're going to be late." Ortho huffed. He grabbed ahold of his older brother, shaking him to wake him up. Idia's reaction to that was tensing up, his breath hitching for a second before resuming as normal.

"Nii-san-! Are you okay? I didn't accidentally hurt you, right-?" Ortho panicked for a second, thinking he had injured his brother. He looked at where his hands where placed, however, and realised they were latched onto Idia's sides. Ortho grinned, a delightfully "evil" idea forming in his head.

"You have to wake up Idia. We're going to school and that's final." Ortho announced, his hands still on Idia's sides.

"mmm... later..." Idia yawned, unaware of Ortho's plan.

"Sigh, If you say so..." Ortho stood still, staring at Idia's unmoving body. Suddenly, he started rapidly squeezing his hands up his brother's sides.

"gh- whahahahahat? Ohohohohortho!" Idia squeaked, kicking his legs wildly. "Ihihihim up!" He giggled, flipping over to see his attacker.

"Oh now you're up, huh?" Ortho teased, smirking. "Or are you just saying that? I think you're still asleep, Nii-san." He changed tactics, drilling his thumbs into Idia's lowest ribs.

Idia shrieked, his laughter picking up an octave. "gehehEHEHE- OHOHORTHO!" The ends of his hair started to turn pink, embarrassed at the situation. "IHIHIHIM AWAKE PLEHEHEASE!" He shook his head back and forth. "ORTHOHOHOHO! *snrk* NAHAHAHAHA!" He snorted, squeezing his eyes shut.

Ortho, sensing his brother way already almost at his limit, slowed down to a stop. "Ehe! That was fun, wasn't it, Nii-san?" He giggled, grabbing Idia his jacket from the closet. "Here, c'mon. We really gotta get going now! We're gonna be late!"

"Ugh...... coming... thanks, Ortho." Idia yawned, his face still a bit flushed. I put on his coat and pat his brother on the head. Well not actually, cause artificial fire, but you get the idea.

The First Impression:

Idia didn't really mind you at first...actually he didn’t even notice. Not that you didn't share any classes or anything, he was just never in person for anything except gaming club and even if he was he would have written you off as a normie.

Once Idia did notice due to you constantly being in his circle and Ortho suggesting he make friends you didn't bother him....he actually sorta didn't mind your presence. You had some pretty good tastes, and it was nice to see a anime/manga enjoy-er. After hearing a rather passionate long winded speech about your current obsession he began to sorta respect you.

Why He Fell:

Idia began to slowly fall for you the more he hung around you. He didn't know it but every small ramble, boardgame match you won against a clubmate, notebook he noticed you writing in, manga he happened to notice you reading and glimpse of your screen showing the whatever anime you decided on that day he was slowly falling in love with the Idea of you.

Eventually as he began spending more and more time with you're to bored game meetings, run ins at Sam's, and Ortho's encouragement he slowly but surely began to fall in love with the real you.

Though the shut in wasn't that oblivious to his own feelings and came to the realization after months at trying to gaslight himself into believing he was delusional and that there was no way he feel for you finially had his "Oh fuck" moment after catching himself litterally tripping over himself to pick up his phone when the small ping came from his phone thinking that it was a message for you.

Cursing himself for letting himself become so attached to someone he know would leave and a relationship he knew would fall apart causing himself to lock himself in his room and shut you out.

The Relationship:

If you were persistent enough to break down his walls he could not shake the ach in his soul. Not heart. Soul when you were missing. Eventually caving just a tiny bit, he decided to screw it and be selfish...for just a little bit. Swearing that he would let you go when it came time to take charge of STYX. Promising himself that he would not allow himself to be that selfish and rip away your life so that he could be close to you.

It actually worked out quite well with no drama. The fact you were honest and he was blunt actually worked in your favor. It made things very easy since you didn't hide anything, and due to the two of you both preferred quiet areas and also worked well since you could both hole yourself in his room. It was actually enjoyable since you had relatively similar interests. He was able to rant passionately to you, and you did the same to him. Not to mention there was a mutual understanding of boundaries that you each respect and a fair amount of both us and be time. He often stayed late into the night with you and although refused to do any cuddling until MONTHS into the relationship was extremely clingy once he worked up the courage to be able to do so. You have to initiate though.

He also would often help you with anything you have issues with especially tech related and sent gifts often....he really loves the patients and kindness you share with him and wants to make sure you feel loves as well....for as long as he is allowed to have you. Constantly reminding himself that as painful it will be for him for you to not remember anything about your time together he will one day have to send you down the river.

Catching up. A ‘popular’ song from earth

Elisa getting the explanation from Ortho had helped a great deal. Twisted Wonderland is the world they not live on but are also from too(Huh, now that Elisa thinks about it. Is she technically an alien?), Night Raven College or NRC for short is one of two magic school on Sage Island(Where they are right now but it’s not exactly where she, Ortho, and Idia are from), Crowley is technically in a sense the headmaster but it’s technically called headmage here. The robes well they are ceremonial robes for NRC.(As for how they got on her, well magic) Ignihyde is the dorm he and Idia are in, Ortho said it is bit more complicated than that but he’ll explain that part later when he is with Idia. Elisa felt it was only fair to answer Ortho’s own questions too, such as what Earth’s like. Elisa did her best to explain what is like there, aside the obvious no magic. Some part of her wishes she can just show actual images and not describing it, however she would have to make do with just trying to explain with words as well as describing it as best as she can. Even at some point. Singing one of the songs from Earth, there actually so many to choose from, so she picks one from an musical she saw before, clearing her throat. She began to sing ‘Popular’ From Wicked(She did explain what the song is and what musical it came from so Ortho would understand it more). “Whenever I see someone less fortunate than I, And let's face it, who isn't less fortunate than I? My tender heart tends to start to bleed” she even danced a little while singing too. “And when someone needs a makeover, I simply have to take over! I know, I know exactly what they need!” She sung and danced like she was the character that sung the song in the musical “And even in your case, Though it's the toughest case I've yet to face” and Ortho was her audience(plus maybe even dance partner) to her singing(Even if he was the only one listening to said singing) “Don't worry, I'm determined to succeed! Follow my lead And yes indeed, you, will, be, Popular! You're gonna be popular! Elisa looked she enjoyed this song. She sang for a while until they eventually got outside in the direction of Ramshackle. Until the dorm itself was almost in sight.

“And though you protest, Your disinterest” she holds Ortho’s hands “I know clandestinely” she soon let go of his hands as she soon grins to match the next set of lyrics. “You're gonna grin and bear it! Your new found popularity! Aah!” there’s her spin from before “La la, la la!” She managed to stop spinning in order to face him “You'll be popular!” As she was going to conclude her song for her twin, she didn’t realize Idia was soon behind her thus most likely heard her singing. “Just not quite as popular as me!”

Heartslabyul Dorm:

Riddle Roseharts - His face goes as red as it does when he's mad and he'll scream at you if you mention it.

Trey Clover - Has a laugh sweeter than his tarts, you could survive off of how rich it is.

Cater Diamond - Once got asked to do a photoshoot on a bed of feathers for a magazine and now the whole crew from that set is sworn to secrecy to not tell a soul that Cater Diamond himself is feather ticklish.

Deuce Spade - Has a few small tattoos from his days as a delinquent, and will wheel around to slap you if you touch them.

Ace Trappola - That area around the heart on his face will make him die of mush and giggles.

Kalim Al-Asim - Can't sit still while getting a henna tattoo done, even though he loves the way they look, he can't stand getting them done, so he tries to sit and take it, but Jamil ends up holding his arms in place while getting them and while they dry so he doesn't scratch them off because they tickle.

Jamil Viper - No. 1 way to tease him is to look him in the eyes while you wreck him, he needs to focus and concentrate when using his unique ability, so it's a reminder that he can't think straight enough to save himself.

Vil Schoenheit - (Oh, queen-) Won't admit it to save his life, but there is a part of his reason for keeping the skin under his clothing so flawless is that he wants any of his lers to notice and compliment him on it.

Epel Felmier - His little country accent comes out when you hit a bad spot and he will threaten to carve you like one of his apple if you mention it at all.

Rook Hunt - As much of a hunter as he is, gets really helpless if his ler corners him like an animal.

FESTAC '77, GOLDEN JUBILEE INTROSPECTION By Olushola O. Olajobi

With the definition by the African Union that culture should be regarded as the set of distinctive linguistic, spiritual, material, intellectual and emotional features of the society or a social group, and that it encompasses, in addition to art and literature, lifestyles, ways of living together, value systems, traditions and beliefs; That all cultures emanate from the societies, communities, groups and individuals and that any African cultural policy should of necessity enable peoples to evolve for increased responsibility in its development. It shows emphatically that culture has always been a feature associated with humans. Some scholars opined that African culture is a strong one that makes any African easily identifiable among the crowd. They believe that Africans both within and outside the continent shared a common destiny apart from mere common history. Even though when you mention the black art festival today among most Nigerians they may start asking you questions or the particular festival you are talking about. But the iconography and news of the Festac ‘77 is what will forever linger in the minds of every Nigerian either young or old most especially in the creative sector of the country. Furthermore, some of the populace who are religious fanatics have contributed to the misinterpretation of this world black festival with the opinion that the hosting of the festival brought bad omen to Nigeria which only God can solve but some other scholars are questioning this view based in the fact that long before the hosting of the festival, many political issues or problems have been recorded in Nigeria such as the 1966 coup that led to the Nigerian civil war (July 1966- January 1970) among other political unrest prior to 1977 when the festival was held. History recorded that the idea to convoke a festival of black arts was first mentioned at the 1956 conference of Black Writer’s in Paris, summoned by the Paris based Pan African cultural Society to discuss the resurgence of the African culture. The idea came up again at the second African Congress in Rome in 1959 where the landmark decision to convoke the festival was agreed. However, this decision did not materialise u til nine years later by one of the participants, Leopold Sedar Senghor (9th October 1906- 20th December 2001), who was one of the leading lights of the Negritude movement and elected President of Senegal in 1960. For Senghor, accepting to host the first world festival of black arts in his countrys’ capital Dakar was an opportunity to bring to fulfilment a long time dream of a convergence of African and diaspora to enact in practical terms the theories of cultural renaissance. With the auspices of UNESCO and the participation of 45 African, Europe, carribean, north and south Africa countries. The maiden edition was held between 1st and 24th of April 1966 tagged “FESMAN”. The maiden edition of the festivalof black arts festival or what we can called the world festival of negro arts (Ler festival Mondial des arts Negres) FESMAN was aimed at bringing all blacks together from all corners of the world showcasing painting, sculpture, poetry, music, cinema, fashion, theatre, architectural designs and dance from artists and performers around the African diaspora. The Festac '77 was the second edition of the black arts festival which was also regarded as the largest cultural events ever held on the African continent with a total participants of more than 17000 from over 50 countries. The Festival of Arts and Culture was held in lagos Nigeria between 15th of January and the 12th of February 1977 under the patronage of General Olusegun Obasanjo, the then military head of state. Iconographically, the Festac '77 logo is the singular artistic work that represents the face of Nigeria rich and vibrant cultures in its majestic splendour. The mask which has a deep root in the ancient city of Benin in present day Edo state and a historical trace o the expansive conquest of Queen Idia, who during her reign extends the frontiers of ancient Benin empire to an unbelievable height. The mask is believe to illustrate the beauty of the Queen in all her royal pomp and pageantry. Even though the symbol was casted in bronze which constantly remind us of the richness of Africa’s past, the quest for excellence of the present and a strong vision about Africa future. However, it will be misleading to forget that the original mask made of ivory that inspired this Festac logo was part of the thousands of masterpiece’s that was looted and carted away by the British soldiers during the Benin invasion of 1897. “The mask remain a veritable symbol of the resilience of the human spirit and it is the template on which the creative talents of the people married to their physical courage and vision for the future is based” (NIGERIA’S GIFT TO UNESCO, 25TH MAY 2015) With 2017 making it the 50th year after the hosting of the world black arts festival in Nigeria, the festival has contributed in no small measure to the country art production, patronage and appreciation even though it is disheartening that most of the salient issues discussed fifty years ago are yet to materialise in action. In addition, the state of some of the venue’s and equipments or facilities used for the festival is not encouraging as can be seen in the national theatre at Iganmu, Lagos. Nevertheless, the positive impacts of the hosting of the festival have yielded a lot of gains to Nigerian art practice as can be found across the country today, making it a veritable job that parents and guardians are akin to allow their wards and children learn. The aftermath of the festival have also motivated many artists in thier creative abilities in creating record breaking art works that have been auctioned in top art auction houses around the globe.

“ohohohortho!” it was only two in the morning! he has pulled all-nighters before so this was nothing and yet…

“nii-san, you don’t sleep enough! you’re still a teenager and you need. to. grow.” his little brother said, enunciating his words with a poke to idia’s side. idia both admired and cursed ortho’s unwillingness to give up.

“it’ll b-behehehe fihihine! juhuhust lehehet mehehe go!” idia continued to protest and ortho had sighed. for a moment, idia had thought he finally had ortho beat but ortho didn’t relent, tickling him. a second later, he began scanning over idia with his eyes.

“your vitals say that your breathing is fine,” ortho started, but then the tickling becomes more vicious, causing idia to erupt into a new wave of laughter. “so i think i have some more convincing to do! i’m gonna tire you out, nii-san! that should help!”

Riddle Roseharts - Uses tickles on the prefect or people who already don't use magic a lot.

Trey Clover - Kneads his fingers into his lees like he's making pastry dough and depending on the day he might whistle a little tune as he does it!

Cater Diamond - As long as his lee consents to it, expect almost everytime he tickles someone to go on his profile in some capacity(audio, photos/videos, posts detailing, ect.)

Deuce Spade - The vengefulness I'm getting from this man is phenomenal, revenge tickles.

Azul Ashengrotto - If this man had the security to turn back into his merform just to tickle his lee, the sea would truly have a fuckin' monster.

Jade Leech - Picture, I'd you will; You're just floating out on the ocean, maybe with some friends or smth, and these slim, nimble, finger-feeling appendages just start lightlytracing, gliding up and down whatever ticklish spots they can get to. You panic and decide to dip down to check what it is, and you see this familiar moray eel-folkman, Good Ole Jade Leech decided to torment you instead of letting you rest for whatever beach vacation you thought you were on.

Floyd Leech - Again, kind of an Imagine thing: You're floating out on the ocean, and your friend starts acting weird. When you ask, they say something's touching them. Just as you begin to think about how weird that really is, you feel a pair of hands shoot out and start squeezing around your torso/legs, noises escape you as failed to keep them restrained at the sudden onslaught. You take a breath and dunk your head underwater, and now you're face to face with this familiar looking eel-man. Your old friend and tormentor, Floyd Leech.

Scarabia Dorm: 

Kalim Al-Asim - Would you like some affection on top of your affection? Bc he'll smother you in kisses if you let him, platonic or romantic.

Jamil Viper - A quote from him wrecking a lee is, "Say/Do ___ and I'll let you go."

Vil Schoenheit -  Oh, my Great Seven, not the queen forcing you to take compliments with his nails.

Epel Felmier - Look me in the eyes and tell me, he wouldn't wreck your ass for calling him short, and with the full accent, too.

Rook Hunt - We've all heard about the chasing and the compliments, but he's also going to use hunting lingo. Not responding to teases? Not flustered, Call-shy. Literally any horrid spot on the torso? Gutshot. You're not his lee, you are his bag.

Idia Shroud - You're screwed once he gets into the swing of it, he's lowkey a mad scientist/robotist combo he can find a way to keep a lee entertained.

Idia's ler nightmare is Ortho. Every time Ortho wrecks his shit for not going outside he's always like "I DONT REMEMBER PROGRAMMING THAT-"

THAT'S REALLY CUTE LMAO but also really in character for him-

I can see him on a 3 AM all-nighter just programming a bunch of half-baked code to input into Ortho with a shit-eating grin on his face, then the next day he wakes up with a start to the feeling of fingers scribbling over his sides. He forgot that he programmed Ortho to tickle him awake whenever he's about to be late to class and this is one of the consequences of his actions.

Also I feel like he would conveniently 'forget' that he's written tickle code for Ortho, because according to the lead scientist and CEO of the Lee Idia Association, which is @nnainai, it's been deduced that Idia is (shockingly) a massive needy lee. So Ortho randomly surprising him with tickles when he needs a boost or is in a particularly Lee mood is very helpful, considering he doesn't have to ask for tickles when he needs them and he doesn't have to bother people asking for tickles when Ortho is attached to his hip.
