Grilovani hleb sa prazilukom Potreban materijal: 350g + 2 pune kašike brašna 1 kašičica soli 1 kašičica praška za pecivo 100g praziluka (zeleni deo) 200ml gazirane mineralne vode sobne temperature 2 pune kašike ulja + ulje za podmazivanje Priprema: U činiji izmešati 300g brašna, so i prašak za pecivo. Dodati vodu, ulje, sitno sieckani praziluk i zamesiti testo. Lagano dodavati ostatak brašna i ručno mesiti testo. Testo će se blago lepiti. Pokriti ga kuhinjskom salvetom, pa ostaviti da odstoji na toplom mestu nekih 30 minuta. Testo zatim blago premesiti na pobrašnjenoj podlozi i podeliti na 6 delova. Svaki deo rastanjiti na veličinu tanjira za tortu i jednu stranu pomoću četkice premazati uljem. Staviti u gril tiganj ili običan teflonski, pa peći prvo sa jedne strane minut-dva, a zatim okrenuti, premazati i tu stranu uljem i takođe ostaviti da se peče minut-dva. Ponavljati postupak dok se ne utroši sav materijal. FESTIVAL TESTA, TESTENINE I HLEBA „TESTIVAL 2020“ 29. FEBRUARA I 1. MARTA U Dorćol platzu u Beogradu 29. februara i 1. marta održaće se Festival testa, testenine i hleba „Testival 2020“ – najavljeno je danas na konferenciji za novinare održanoj u prostorijama Turističke organizacije Srbije (TOS). Miodrag Ilić, predsednik, i Dejan Ilić, potpredsednik Udruženja TESTIVAL, najavili su da će manifestacija imati izlagački i edukativni deo, kao i međunarodni, humanitarni i takmičarski karakter. Otvaranje festivala je predviđeno za 11 časova, 29. februara. I tog i narednog dana prvih 100 posetilaca sa plaćenim ulaznicama dobiće na poklon tekstilne torbe kao vid podrške ekološkoj inicijativi za izbacivanje plastičnih kesa iz upotrebe. „Grad gost“ festivala je Ražanj, pa će već prvog dana od 11:30 biti održano predstavljanje Ražnja i Turističke organizacije te opštine, uz pripreme lepinjica i pečenje u crepulji. Milena Janković, direktor Turističke organizacije Ražanj, rekla je da su u pozivu za učešće na ovom festivalu prepoznali svoju šansu da se predstave u Beogradu i da promovišu svoju manifestaciju „Čarolije iz crepulje“ koja je lane prvi put organizovana u okviru Sabora frulaša „Dani Save Jeremića“. Oba dana festivala sa početkom u 12 časova biće održane radionice: testenine – zdrava hrana , i poslastice sa METRO Chef Manitoba brašnom. U okviru humanitarne misije festivala Udruženje Testival će prodavati pite savijače, ali u obliku oznake za WiFi(„VajFaj pita, bre“). Deo prihoda od prodaje pita uplatiće se Savezu MNRO.Na prodajnoj izložbi učestvovaće oko 30 izlagača zanatskih i tradicionalnih proizvoda koji će konkurisati za dve nagrade: najbolji izlagač festivala i najinovativniji(turistički) proizvod festivala. Pojedinačne cene ulaznica za posetioce su 200 dinara. Besplatan ulaz je za decu i mlade do 18 godina.Festival se održava uz podršku Turističke organizacije Srbije i nalazi se u zvaničnom kalendaru događaja TOS za 2020. godinu.

Punjene lepinje - Vesna Pavlović
Punjene lepinje.
Punjene lepinje, sastojci:
Za testo:
50 ml voda,
10 g svežeg kvasca,
1 kašičica šećera,
1 kašičica soli,
1 kesica praška za pecivo,
180 g jogurta,
400 g brašna.
Za premazivanje:
100 g margarina.
Za nadev:
200 g sira.
Za prženje:
po potrebi ulje.
Punjene lepinje, priprema:
Za testo:
U mlakoj vodi rastvoriti kvasac, dodati šećer, 1 kašiku brašna, izmešati i ostaviti da odstoji 10 minuta.
U dublju posudu nasuti brašno, dodati nadošli kvasac, jogurt, posoliti, umešati prašak za pecivo i zamesiti srednje tvrdo testo. Prekriti čistom kuhinjskom krpom i ostaviti da odstoji 15 minuta.
Nakon toga, testo premesiti na pobrašnjenoj radnoj površini i oklagijom razviti u oblik pravougaonika.
Premazati margarinom (koji je omekšao na sobnoj temperaturi) i urolati. Iseći na 6 delova. Svaki deo premesiti i razviti u oblik manjeg pravougaonika. Na svaki pravougaonik od testa naneti sir – do polovine, preklopiti delom na kome nema sira i „blago“ rastanjiti oklagijom (ne pritiskati jako).
Pržiti na zagrejanom ulju, dok ne porumene sa obe strane.
Odlagati na kuhinjski papir kako bi se ocedio višak masnoće.
Servirati i poslužiti.
Savet: jogurt držati na sobnoj temperaturi minimum pola sata pre upotrebe, nikako ne koristiti hladan (iz fružidera). Ovo je predlog za ukusan i brz doručak. Prijatno!

In Miller’s textbook, diffusion is defined as “the spread of culture through contact (Miller, 262).” The closest dish pictured above is of meat-dish called ćevapčići, the national dish of Bosnia. It was taken in a Bosnian restaurant called the “Old House Cosmopolitan Grill” in Old-Town Alexandria. The dish consists of beef (or pork) minced meat rolled into sausage-like components, with onion, tomato, kajmak (a cross between sour cream and cream cheese), and lepinje (specially-made bread patties). Although the dish looks similar to a hamburger, the meat comes sausage-form, and it is customary to eat all components separately, not altogether as hamburgers are usually eaten. I chose this dish to explain diffusion because ćevapčići were originally inspired by the Turkish köfte kebab, which was spread during the Ottoman occupation of Bosnia. Bosnians added the lepinjeto the dish as well as sauces like kajmak. Quickly, ćevapčići became a popular food item in Croatia, Slovenia, Montenegro, and it even became the national dish of Serbia. Through cultural contact, the dish has become a staple in much of Eastern Europe with some regions putting their own spin on it. For example, in Croatia it is common to eat ćevapčići with a red, slightly spicy sauce called Ivar, however, in Bosnia, the dish is traditionally served with kajmak. If I was to do further anthropological research, I would want to study the different variations of similar dishes in the Balkans between Bosnian and Croatian culture, and why/how the variations came about.
The second picture describes invention as “discovery of something new (Miller, 262).” The image shows a line of people working out on Cybex treadmills. The picture was taken in the gym of the Lerner Health and Wellness Center on the GW campus. I chose this picture to represent an invention because the treadmill is a fairly new technological innovation that makes working out easier for many people. Additionally, Miller also explains that “many inventions bring about positive cultural change,” which applies to treadmills because they have made exercise more convenient to many people. Since the development of other inventions like the television, smartphone, the car, and the computer, many people forgo exercise in favor of easy relaxation. The invention of the car, although it has made many positive impacts on long-distance travel, has also created a culture of laziness when people decide to drive a car instead of walking a few miles. Due to inventions like these, had become less and less active, eventually causing many health problems. The invention of the treadmill made exercising convenient as people no longer had to brave the weather or dodge pedestrians and cars on busy streets. This caused a positive social change as, especially now in the US, there is a rising exercise and fitness movement aiming to get people active and healthy. If I was to do further research, I would want to research the gym-exercise habits between US and Chinese culture, and if there is a general consensus within a culture about each individual’s reason for exercising (i.e. health, image, fitness, hobby, etc).
