This is Leo's Story

Leo thinks he’s above all it all. He doesn’t need a relationship, sex or any of that nonsense. All that matters is maintaining his skill and keeping his family safe while helping the citizens of New York City. He knows how dangerous it is to befriend someone and bring them into their chaotic lives. They’ll never be safe. He still has nightmares about not arriving in time to save people or his brothers. Any girl they brought in was at risk and he wasn’t about to put anyone through that. No matter how beautiful she was.

It was bad enough Mikey had a girlfriend and refused to give her up. Raph had… something going on but he was sealed up tighter than a drum. He was pretty confident Donnie didn’t have anyone but knew he chatted with people online. It frustrated him beyond measure that his brothers were so careless. He just couldn’t see the point in needlessly exposing himself.

That is until he meets… her. She is everything soft and sweet, with long dark hair and legs for miles. She was April’s work friend and was looking to do some martial arts training. Of course April knew how to find her the best teacher and might have been doing a little bit of sneaky matchmaking for her brother in blue. She does check with Leo first who grudgingly agrees to train her.

At first Leo keeps things professional. He meets with her three times a week and it’s a lot of basic training exercises and meditation. He keeps himself as impartial as he can until one day she makes him laugh. She was telling him a joke, it was stupid and corny, the kind of joke Mikey would tell and despite all of that he finds it funny. From that moment on he’s softer toward her, gentler with his instructions and the way he teaches her the moves. He appreciates her candor, her honesty and her determination to do the moves as well as she can. They become friends.

He isn’t sure who makes the first move. They were practicing holds one day and the way he pressed up behind her is different. He catches her scent and it’s distracting him. At first he just thinks it’s the smell of her shampoo, lilies and ginger but then he notices it’s deeper than that. It’s the unmistakable scent of her arousal. At first he’d in disbelief, she was attracted to HIM? It’s not possible, he had to be mistaken. Still, he needed to be sure. Carefully, he asks her if she’s uncomfortable. She replies that she isn’t Then he asks if she wants to take a break, his senses are overwhelming him though he hides it well.

She turns in his arms and looks up at him. She asks if this is okay. Despite himself he replies that it is though the smell is much stronger now. Now it’s her turn to ask if he’s uncomfortable. Leo doesn’t answer right away, struggling with how to proceed. He should tell her practice has concluded for the day and ask her to leave. He should, but he doesn’t. Instead he leans in closer, her scent is like a drug and finds himself carefully placing his hand on the small of her back. For once in his life, Leonardo Hamato doesn’t think, he just acts.

The kiss is soft and tentative at first but it’s like the floodgates open and he’s swept away with her. Soft and gentle soon becomes hard and demanding and he can feel she wants this as much as he does. He surprises himself by moving to press her against the dojo wall, caging her in his arms with kiss after desperate kiss until they both have to come up for air. He seems to come back to himself after this and mutters an apology. He inwardly panics and tells her she should probably go and murmers that they should take some time off from practice without any explanation. He needs to work through his feelings.

She does appear hurt by this admission and apologizes before leaving. After she’s gone Leo tries reasoning with himself that this is for the best. It’s not like things would actually work out between them. Right? The next few weeks he’s absolutely miserable and everyone is avoiding him at first. April practically yells at him for being such an idiot and letting her go like that. Mikey tries telling him that what they had was ‘special’ and that he should just go for it. Donnie offers no comment since he has no experience in this area. It ends up being Raph who manages to change his mind.

Raphael, the one who never opens up to ANYONE without a fight finally tells his brother about the girl he’s been seeing. ‘You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take’ he quotes and ignores Leo’s protests about how it’s not safe and he’d be putting her in danger by entering into a relationship with her. Raph tells him to shut the fuck up and apologize to her. She deserves better than this and if he could get his ass out of his shell for two seconds he’d realize that if she likes him, it’s worth it, so fuck the risks. In Raph’s own words that is.

Leo is quiet a long time before realizing that he at least owes her an explanation. He goes to her place and taps on her window. There’s no answer though and he struggles with the decision to let himself in. Finally, she comes, and Leo is struck what he sees; tear-stained cheeks and an expression of shock and sadness. His heart clenches in his chest as he realizes he’s caused this. He hurt her. She quietly regards him as she waits for him to speak. It all comes tumbling out in a rush, his apology, his feelings of insecurity, his concerns about putting her in danger… all of it and he hugs her. She listens to him and softly calls him an idiot for going silent for weeks without explanation. She also does a few good thumps of her fist on his chest for good measure and firmly tells him to never do it again. She then freely admits her feelings toward him with an emotional lump in her throat and doesn’t care about the risks. Leo is struck by her words and tries to push down his feelings of inadequacy and voices that he doesn’t feel worthy of having someone so beautiful and how much he regrets hurting her. She cuts him off with a soft, yet passionate kiss. It was her way of forgiving him and a promise that she’ll be there for him no matter what. In that moment Leo realizes what his brothers have been trying to tell him and silently vows not to screw this up.

Their relationship blossoms from there and his first time is actually in his meditation room. He can close the door with a lock for privacy if he so chooses. He had not expected it to happen that day. He was a patient turtle after all. It needed to be her choice to take that step in their relationship. Previously they had done some touching and kissing, getting to know each other’s bodies and Leo had given her the heads up about his anatomy. She was unfazed but curious to see what he had to offer in that regard.

It starts off innocently enough with their post-workout tea and meditation session but it’s clear she had something else in mind. She’d been giving subtle hints and had worn a pair of workout shorts that showed a bit too much skin when she would bend over. Leo had definitely noticed yet he still tried to meditate. Then he scents her again, the smell of her arousal. It didn’t take a lot for him to realize what was on her mind. His gaze flicks over to her and she cracks an eye open as well with a slight grin on her face. In one swift move he has her in his lap, kissing her deeply like a man starved. She reciprocates just as desperately and hoped this was it.

Leo makes quick work of her clothes and gently lays her on one of his meditation pillows. He refamiliarises himself with her body, drinking in all she has to offer, soft moans, trembling gasps but when she breathily tells him she loves him he stops. Her admission leaves him speechless and he needs a moment to process what she just said. She begins to get anxious when he doesn’t answer her right away and starts babbling that he doesn’t need to say it back but she just wanted him to know. He places the large pad of his finger to her lips silencing her and that’s when he says it. ‘I love you too’. Just like that, he’s been in love with her probably since the beginning of their training sessions and it’s taken this long for him to say it out loud. After that she softly tells him she wants him and there’s no holding back this time, he couldn’t deny her a single thing.

Their lovemaking is slow, sweet and passionate and a pivotal moment in his life. He never could imagine something could feel this incredible. It takes all of his finely honed patience and self-control not to finish before she does. He pleads with her to come, hot breath on her neck and the conscious choice to pump his hips just a little faster. When he feels her inner walls squeeze around him he nearly chokes with the amount of pleasure he feels and covers her mouth in a hard kiss to drown out her cries. A few hard thrusts later and he finds his own release, deeply groaning and filling her with his essence. He caresses her face reverently after they’ve both had a chance to catch their breath and reaffirms his love for her. She kisses him, her eyes shining with happiness as she says it. ‘I love you too.’

Leo never mentions it to his brothers but they all know anyway. It is far too sacred and private for him to ever talk about. He does begrudgingly thank Raphael for giving him the push he needed. Raph just shrugs and says ‘someone needed to tell you what an asshat you were being’ A pause and then. ‘Thanks Raph…’

Solar return observations

Virgo season is here which means my birthday is coming soon!!! I thought it would be fitting to share my first Solar Return observations with you. These are based on my experience, feel free to share yours!

Fire rising in SR - these years were characterized for being SO SO chaotic and all over the place tbh. It was always a mix of good and bad things like damn I couldn't catch a break. So many rollecosters, STRESS, situations were I was at the edge of my seat, unpredictable and random stuff happening...

Air rising on SR - one word: fresh. Total opposite from fire risings. Air risings were years that felt so light and fresh! I felt like I was floating through the year in a good way! Just going with flow. And I've said this before the best most chill years where I've found myself thriving were Libra risings on SR (also venus in the 1st house)

Moon-Lilith conjunction in th SR - I felt like my life being sucked out of me and overall felt kinda unlucky that year. I felt so empty inside during this year it was insane. Also I was having mayor issues and conflicts with my mom

Chiron is in SR is a bit catastrophized imo. It can not only mean areas in your life that can "break" but also areas that could find healing or resolutions as well. Whenever I've seen the breaking or ending manifestation of this asteroid it was always from a place of reconsideration and healing rather destruction, like making peace with something. For example, Chiron in the 7th house could mean ending a relationship on good terms or unlearning unhealthy relationship patterns. On time I had Chiron in the 6th house and during that year I got a nice job after a long period of struggling to find a job. Of course it's nuanced and it can often be painful and disappointing process but I think people don't mention enough how Chiron is about finding relief as well

One time I read the SR for a client who had Pluto in the 6th house for that year and turns out she was planning to undergo surgery during that time for health reasons

Leo rising in SR - These years were TERRIBLE for some reason. Maybe it was due to Cancer 12th house but I was really struggling to find happiness and fulfillment in my life during these times

Cancer mars in the SR - So emotional!! Like truly it was years that were clouded by emotion. It was either due to family stuff, friends or relationships, but I was running on emotion all the time and I couldn't act on logic to save my life. However it's not like I was in my bed crying all day but rather these emotions were giving energy and motivation in some way. Somehow being emotional was always making be feel.... alive?

Moon in 12th house of SR - I was getting ready to move and separate from my family during this year

Taurus rising in SR - these years were surprisingly.... intense, specially with my relationships. A lot of patience, resisting and enduring. Every event that happened felt like I was going through a 10-year-long process and really had a strong impact in my life. Years were I reconsidered my priorities a lot and was really faced with what is it that I truly value

Uranus in the 1st house of SR - literally a few days prior to my bday I received shocking news that turned my entire year (and life) upside down so you can imagine how this energy played out. Life forcing changes on my life that I was not ready for but had to make it through one way or another

Virgo rising in SR - I started a new job!

Look at Part of Fortune and Vertex in your SR chart, these will be significant themes!

Capricorn rising in SR - I was.... borderline depressed here ngl. Those kind of years that never seem to end ever. I was receiving pressure from both my career life and my family life. Overall earth rising in the SR were years that felt very 'heavy' if that makes sense.

Juno in the 1st house of SR - these were years were I meant new people!!! I significantly enlarged my network

^Same thing with Venus/Libra/Vertex in the 7th house of SR. I didn't get into a relationships or had anything romantic going on, I met new people and made new friends in general. I also bought lots of new clothes and invested a lot in my image

Scorpio rising in SR -you know when you go through a very intense experience out of nowhere and then come out of it soon after like nothing happened and you're left feeling like "wtf was that for"? That's this.

Yod configuration in SR - very karmic life-changing and ground breaking events in my life. Before and after vibes

Moon in Capricorn in the SR - my girlboss era!!!! These were years were I began new professional opportunities like my first job or my first year in college

Moon in the 8th house of SR - you guessed it: trauma. I'm talking canon event kind of trauma. A family member died.

Vertex in the 8th house of SR - this was playing life on hard mode honestly. Not necessarily traumatic, but very complicated events and situations here that put you to the test

recapping a bit of what haru said on stream

haru on her stream spoke about how shes had a really awful past five years and all her experiences just from this past year has been incredible. she gave a massive thank you to everyone and that she has no regrets.

“i never imagined i’d be where i am right now and i mean it with all my heart thank you so much. i had a very good time and i hope to have made you guys happy.”

she mentioned that since she was young shes always wanted to make content that makes people happy because she felt the world was missing a lot of love so shes happy to have given the world a piece of her heart. she mentioned how shes met so many incredible people who motivated her to see the good parts of life. to have found even this little bit of sunshine has left her so grateful. she says thank you for all the kindness, all the moments, all the memories, all the words, everything. shes very happy and mentioned this has been a very special experience for her. she reminded her chat that theres always another day and to enjoy life to the maximum, to live, to love, to talk, to hug each other, to be happy always, and that all the beautiful happiness we’ve given her will be returned back to us. she continues to express her gratitude. she mentioned this is one of the most beautiful communities shes ever had the pleasure of meeting in the entire world. she goes on to include the spanish, portuguese, french, english, german, and korean community in that statement.

“Is she blind or something?”, Raph whispered in utter disbelief, watching you and Leo on the couch from his and Donnie’s hiding spot behind a pillar, their eyes following the movements of the two of you as you casually talked. Well, you at least seemed casual. Leo on the other hand looked like a love lost puppy, with practically bright pink hearts for eyes and a dreamy smile smeared over his face, as he listened to you talk. “I mean, look at him. He follows her around like a lost puppy! How has she not noticed?!”

“It’s (Y/N) we’re talking about, Raph”, Donnie reminded his brother. “This is the same girl that literally has been oblivious to Leo’s crush for years now. Have you forgotten the time Leo thought he had asked her out on a date, but then she brought April along, thinking it was a casual get together?”

“Don’t remind me”, Raph mumbled. “He was a sighing mess for two weeks, and he really wanted me to ask about it”.

“Did you ask him about it?”, Donnie questioned, raising a brow muscle.

“Of course not”, Raph said, neither he nor Donnie noticing the orange clad bundle of joy, silently making his way to his brothers from behind. “If I ask about it once, he will expect me to ask about it again another day”.

“What are we talking about?”, Mikey’s voice suddenly sounded behind the two brothers, causing them to do a little jump in surprise. So much for being a ninja, and you can’t even hear your little brother casually walking up behind you.

“Leo and (Y/N)”, Donnie said, sparing Raph from the madness. “They are talking, but (Y/N) is still as oblivious as always”.

“You’re joking”, Mikey said in disbelief, peeking out from his brothers’ hiding spot, to see the scene unfolding on the couch. He could practically hear Leo’s heart beat in his chest as you spoke, his hands fiddling with themselves in an effort to keep himself calm. Damn, he was struck hard.

“How long have they been sitting there?”, Mikey asked.

“An hour or two”, Raph answered. “And nothing has happened, other than Leo looking like an absolute fool”.

“We have to do something”, Mikey said, suddenly sounding like a man on a mission, making Raph’s eyes widen in fear for what his little brother may have had in mind. Donnie on the other hand just seemed sceptical.

“There’s not much we can do”, Donnie said, placing his hands on his hips. “Leo has specifically asked us not to let (Y/N) know, and so far he doesn’t seem like he’s ready to tell her”.

“Nobody has to tell anybody anything”, Mikey smiled, already having an idea in mind. “We just have to set the mood”.

“And how are we supposed to do that?”, Raph asked, crossing his arms, seeming not the least bit convinced by Mikey’s words. “We live in a sewer, for crying out loud”.

With a smile Mikey turned to his brother in red, before wiggling his brow muscles. “Where there’s a will, there’s a way”, was all he said, before slipping out of his brothers’ hiding spot, making his way across the room, heading straight for the kitchen.

Watching in confusion and curiosity, Donnie and Raph’s eyes followed Mikey as he made his way through the living area, past you and Leo. You, only seeming lightly aware of Mikey’s presence in the room, and Leo focused on nothing else but you.

It didn’t take long before Mikey came back from the kitchen, with a pack of chocolate in his hand. With a small skip in his step, Mikey made his way towards the couch, before taking a seat next to Leo on the opposite side of you, causing the older turtle to shoot him an annoyed look. The last thing Leo wanted right now, was for his brothers to ruin what small moments he got to spend alone with you.

“So”, Mikey said, opening the pack of chocolate in his hands. “How are you two doing today?” Out of the corner of his eye, Mikey could see both Raph and Donnie facepalm. But they did not know what Mikey had planned, and therefore Mikey was comfortable in his actions.

“We’re good, Mikey”, you smiled, not noticing the daggers Leo was staring at his youngest brother. “What about you?”

“Oh, I’m good”, Mikey smiled, holding up the chocolate. “Just about to enjoy myself a treat”.

“Mikey”, Leo suddenly said, almost in a warning tone, trying to find a reason to get Mikey away from the main living area, so he could be alone with you again. “Didn’t you have that thing to do in your room?”

“What thing?”, Mikey asked, acting like he had no clue what Leo was talking about. But he knew exactly what Leo was trying to do.

“That thing you talked about earlier today”, Leo said, giving his brother a warning look.

“Oh!”, Mikey suddenly exclaimed, acting like Leo had reminded him of something. “You’re right! That thing!”

Mikey quickly got up from the couch, before springing towards his room, and the pillar Raph and Donnie still stood hiding behind. You and Leo giggled at each other, when you saw that Mikey had left his chocolate behind, however neither of you seemed to notice how the orange clad turtle still had the TV remote in his hand as he left.

“How is that going to set the mood?”, Raph whispered in a harsh voice, wondering if Mikey had lost his mind.

“Have faith in me brotha”, Mikey said, dingling the TV remote in front of his face. “I know what I’m doing”.

Frowning with confusion, Donnie and Raph watched as Mikey made his way over to the light switch, before turning it off. That caused a small startled sound from you, followed by small laughs from both you and Leo, saying something along the lines of it probably just behind his brothers pulling a prank of sorts. Much to both Raph and Donnie’s surprise, Leo suddenly seemed much less nervous, his laugh actually sounding somewhat confident.

With a big smile plastered over his face, Mikey made his way back to the pillar, giving his brothers a wink. “Now watch this”. With the TV remote in hand, Mikey pressed the on button, then sudden light from the TV filled you and Leo’s field of view, causing the two of you to jump in surprise, followed by the two of you laughing once more from your sudden shock.

“Now”, Mikey said, crossing his arms. “We just let the magic play out”.

“What magic?”, Raph asked, still not convinced.

“I think he’s talking about that magic”, Donnie said, pointing to you and Leo who had scooted closer to each other, so you had an easier time sharing the chocolate.

“I don’t believe it”, Raph mumbled, mouth open in disbelief, as you suddenly, for once looked at Leo with a hint of what he had been looking at you with.

“What is playing anyway?”, Donnie asked, honestly impressed with what he saw.

“Just that romantic series everyone is talking about”, Mikey said. “There’s a marathon tonight, so those two will have plenty of time to figure things out”.

“B- but”, Raph stammered, still not truly able to believe what was going on. “How did you know it would work? How did you know that was playing tonight?”

Mikey shrugged his shoulders with a small smile. “I got my secrets”.

“Secrets my shell”, Raph snarred. “How did you know?”

“Guys…”, Donnie said, trying to get his brothers’ attention so they could see how the scene on the couch was evolving.

“I can’t tell you all of my secrets”, Mikey said with a shrug, enjoying how it seemed to annoy Raph.

“You little-”.

“Guys!”, Donnie whispered more harshly, finally gaining the arguing turtles attention. “Look!”, he said, pointing towards you and Leo, who now sat on the couch with your arms loosely draped around each other, and your lips connected in a soft and sweet kiss.

Raph blinked at the sight, before turning to look at Mikey, who stood with a big smile. “I told you we just had to set the mood”.

one thing leo noticed about you pretty early on, was that you got attached to things maybe a little bit too easily.

you sob when fictional characters die, when you get a video of a dead animal on the internet, when a store or restaurant you liked closes, or when you lose an item that was once precious to you.

he’d even seen you tear up after a piece of paper you drew a face in and nicknamed ‘michael,’ who ended up being taken away by the wind.

well, he couldn’t do anything about these things, but he could definitely do something about the flowers.

like clockwork, everytime leo would get you flowers, you’d get so excited and take care of them the best way you could. then, obviously, they’d wilt, making you cry. you’d look so utterly heartbroken every time, until one day leo decided he couldn’t take it anymore.

he brainstormed for a while on how to get you flowers that wouldn’t wilt, that you’d be able to love forever. then, he got an idea.

well, a second idea, after the demeter kids told him that they in fact could not make a flower immortal. bummer, but whatever.

he figured: what could he do, as a brilliant child of hephaestus, to fix your problem?

easy, he’d make you metal flowers!

granted, it took more than a couple tries to make a model that actually looked pretty, and then he had the issue of whether or not he should paint them. but, if you asked him, the final product ended up pretty cool looking.

you were rightfully shocked the first time leo gave you a metal flower, but after he explained the reasoning behind it, your heart quickly opened up to his new invention. 

leo would give you a single flower every once in a while, each a different color and a different breed. your smile would always be infectious once you received them, putting them on display a pretty vase he’d also made for you (bought, actually. he didn’t know how to make a vase look pretty).

honestly, the flowers very quickly became like your babies. they may not be as pretty as normal flowers (which he still gave you sometimes), but they meant so much more knowing how much hard work leo put into them.

“He hates me!” You whined, snuggling your face deeper into the decorative pillow to hide from Leo’s stare.

You winced when he cackled, crying with laughter. “No—No way!” You heard a loud thump. You moved your head to glance at him and found that he had rolled off the couch in the midst of his hysterics. “What else did he say?”

“He said that he loves how I don’t care about what others think of me?” You pouted to yourself. “Ugh.”

Another shriek of laughter from Leo. You rolled your eyes. “Another, please!”

“He said I looked cute from far away.” You mumbled. Leo wiped at the tears dripping down his face, panting for breath.

“Oh my gosh.” He giggled again, rolling onto his stomach to clamber to his feet. “Oh god. That’s so funny.”

“No, it’s not.” You hid your face away again. You felt his hand ruffle your hair. “He hates me. He makes fun of me!”

“He’s trying to flirt.” Leo giggled again. “He just sucks at anything social. Promise.”

You glanced up at him, unsure.

“Seriously. I wouldn’t lie about this.” He had a scheming expresión on. You could already tell confiding in him was a bad idea. “Don’t worry. I’ll sort this out.”

Him sorting it out was shoving a flustered Donnie in front of you no more than an hour later.

“Say it!” Leo nudged him. Donnie hissed at him, all feral, before regaining his composure. He turned to you, tucking his shaking hands into his hoodie pockets.

“You look prettier today… Your eyelashes… are longer.” Donnie awkwardly looked away. Leo facepalmed.

“Oh.” Your expression fell. You had put on mascara today. You must’ve not looked as pretty without it.

“Oh my god!” Leo slid his hand down on his face. “That is not what we agreed on you saying!”

“I. Panicked.” Donnie growled out through clenched teeth, giving you worried glances because of the hurt look on your face.

Oh. So he definitely didn’t mean to hurt your feeling. That was a plus. You guessed.

You watched as Donnie and Leo hurled insults at each other, slowly inching away to avoid the drama. Donnie would have to try again another day, hopefully with more success.

A Very Bad Day

Pairing: Charles Leclerc x Reader

Chapter Synopsis: Everything burns right before the eyes of Charles Leclerc.

Chapter: 1

Charles Leclerc couldn’t quite grasp how his life could turn a total 180 in the last 24 hours.  Over the phone, his girlfriend broke up with him.  Ferrari decided to void the contract after he got drunk at some bar.  And now, he has no idea where he is as he hops on one leg, trying to get the other foot inside his pants as he runs away from a hysterical woman he didn’t know.

And to put the cherry on top, his foot got caught on a table and he came plummeting down on the hardwood.

“Ah fuck.”

Yesterday started like any other day.  Nothing conspicuous about it.  Charles woke up in his apartment in Monaco.  His still droopy eyes stare out at the busy streets and tall buildings of Monte Carlo.  Charles scratches his hip, yawning.

Excited barks soon echoed around the room and he didn’t even need to look to know who it was.  His lips quirk to a smile.  “Morning to you too, pal.”  The goofy dog kept his owner’s attention for the next five minutes before Charles had to have his breakfast.

The man was simply trying not to burn his sunny side up eggs when he got a call from Alexandra.  Charles smiles, which quickly disappears as he tries to avoid a splatter of oil.  

“Charles?”

He inhales deeply.  “Since when was I Charles to you? I’m caro-”

“I’m so sorry, I can’t just do this anymore.”  Alexandra sobs from the other line.

Charles scratches his head.  “What, you want to find another petname?”  He chuckles awkwardly.

“I just…I want you to understand that it’s not you, okay?”

Damn.

Well, this is it.  He thought.

“You breaking up with me or something?”  Charles mumbles as he switches off the stove when the bottom of the egg starts burning.  Alexandra sobs again from the other line.  “You could’ve done it in person, you know.  Like how a decent person should.”

Alexandra was silent and Charles used the spatula to try and salvage the egg which stuck to the pan, its burnt stench made Charles step back and sit on the chair.  He runs a hand over his face.

“Hello.”

“Listen.”  Her voice is much stable this time, making Charles think if she really had been crying thirty seconds ago.  “I really can’t see any future in this relationship.  We should start seeing other people.”

Charles starts swinging the spatula lazily, his eyes now drained.  “Well, I can’t exactly stop you if that’s what you want.”

“Thank you, Charles.”  Alexandra responds a little softly this time, fooling him for a second that this was just another phonecall they have everyday.  Or was it every week?  Charles can’t remember as their relationship has been getting more dull and dull.  “I’m really sorry.  I tried to resist him for months but you just can’t…give me the love that I want and I want to end it between us before I start another relationship.”

So there is another man.  Charles nods somberly, forgetting that Alexandra can’t see him.  “Yes.  Thank you for being honest…you sure he’s a good man?”  Despite his relationship with Alexandra losing its flame, she was still his girlfriend once.

He hears the smile in Alexandra’s voice.  “He is really kind.  He has a daughter whom I love very much.”

“Yeah?”  Charles tries to sound cheerful for her sake, his eyes following the slow drip of the oil from the head of the spatula.

“Yeah!  He can be really busy with his mining company so I get to spend time with her a lot.”

“Good for you.”  His jaw ticks.  “I don’t appreciate you spending time with him while we were still together but I’m glad you broke up with me before you started dating the man.”

Alexandra sighs gratefully from the other line.  “Thanks, Charles.  I knew you’d understand.  What we had, it was good…but it was not going anywhere.  I’ll still come to watch you race though, see you around.”

Charles thinks it is better if she didn’t.  Leo paws at his leg but Charles can’t bother to do anything but scratch behind his ears sluggishly.  

What kind of person breaks up over the phone?  He was so good to her too, getting her anything a girlfriend could want.  Charles was a busy guy but he tried to make it work with her, spending time with her anytime he could.

This wasn’t how he planned his Saturday to start at all.  Charles can already think of the headlines surfacing in the internet soon.

His PR team would kill him.

Well, it’s not entirely his fault.  They can’t pin this on him.

Although the next thing that would happen that day would totally be his fault.

Charles really tried to keep the whole drinking and getting wasted part in his own apartment but the half empty bottles he kept stocked on his mini bar weren’t doing their job.  So he went with the next best thing.  Go get hammered in a bar.

He could have sworn he only had a few glasses.  How was he supposed to know the alcohol content in those drinks were beyond the roof?  That’s what he gets for ordering drinks he has never heard before in his entire life.

It couldn’t have been Alexandra that caused this much of an impact on Charles that he’d go out his way and get shitfaced in some bar where anybody with a phone could post him on social media.  He gulps down his drink, giving up on the puzzle he had no intentions in solving in the first place.

The bar was getting too cramped and Charles felt like he was fighting for every gulp of air.  He had to get out.  Which was a bad idea.  He could barely hold up his own weight, let alone walk.  Charles was stumbling to every person that passed by him in the busy streets of Monaco, he’s yet to be recognized thanks to his cap but he knows this won’t end well.

Next thing he knows, he is being thrown inside a car, the absence of street lights blinding him, the sudden change in colors disorienting him.  Loud voices of people he should know echo around the cramped car.  Someone he recognizes from his PR team is beside him, there’s another one in the passenger seat, trying to talk to him, trying to get his attention but Charles can’t peel his eyes off the floor.  He’s sobering up bit by bit now.  He hears his name being called over and over but he doesn’t respond, not even when somebody holds him by his collar.  

Questions are thrown his way and he can’t even process a single one before another is being thrown at him again.  They keep asking what has gotten into him.  What happened between him and Alexandra that she had to reveal publicly that their relationship was over.  They have no business in prying in that matter.  They repeatedly fume that he could have been arrested for public intoxication had they not gotten there on time.

The car comes to an abrupt halt, sending him forward.  Hands grip him under his armpits and he’s being forced out of the car and on his feet.  Charles doesn’t even know if it’s him making the steps or he’s simply being dragged.  He’s made to sit on the couch and he recognizes his own apartment.  He sees Leo growling at the people who invaded his home.  Charles hunches on the couch, his hands raking on his hair.

Was he stupid?

He is a Formula 1 driver for goodness sake!

It wasn’t easy to deduce that this would harm his career.  A blotch on his record.  Forever known as the Formula 1 driver who was intoxicated in the streets of Monaco, and it was barely even evening!  A fucking embarrassment is what he is.

A loud ringtone echoes and he hears the brief exchange of words.  A phone was then shoved in his hands and he brought it up to his ears.

Charles was used to hearing the calm and humorous voice of Frédéric Vasseur, never like this.

He knew he fucked up.

And like how Alexandra snipped whatever they had, Vasseur did the same to his contract with Ferrari.

“I am very disappointed in you, boy.  I’m afraid Ferrari will have to let you go.”

This is rockbottom.

Charles wordlessly hands the phone back and it’s replaced with his car keys.  For a moment he just stares at the dark stallion.  He hears them saying that someone picked it up from the bar for him.  

I’m fucking stupid.

Charles grips the key so hard it threatens to dig through his palms.  He gets up and heads to the direction of the door.  They call his name over and over but he just cannot deal with them at the moment.

“Get Leo to my mom.  I’m stepping out for a bit.”

He finds his car in the parking space and immediately gets in it.  Just like that, he threw his career under the bus.  What other team would want him to race for them, after this incident, he’d be lucky if some team with shit cars even looks at him.

For years, he built his name, trying to make those he loved proud, only for it all to unravel before his eyes in a single day. 

He needs to get out of here.

The engine roars as he speeds away from his place, going somewhere and nowhere in particular.

The city lights of Monte Carlo were a blur as he sped through.

Charles is never really one to run away from his problems, but there’s nothing here for him, is there?

The girl he trusted to be by his side went and broke up with him.  Their relationship lost its spark long before this day but Charles thought they were stable.  He was blinded with the comfort brought on by the convenience.  He drank not for losing her but for self-pity, which made him two times more horrible.  Charles would just love to blame anybody but himself right about now.  One stupid decision cost him his deal with Ferrari.

They had a fucking contract.  He was going to race for them for the next season, goddammit.

Charles pulls at his glovebox and sees his passport.

He drove to the airport of Monaco and hastily parked his car and gathered his stuff from the glove compartment.  For a moment his hands hovered over his phone yet he hesitates before deliberately leaving it.

He will deal with this later.  He just needs to get out.  Cold sweat was breaking out in his temple when he entered the air conditioned airport.  Charles pulls his hat down after security, feeling like everybody is looking at him.  His heartbeat accelerates and his breathing visibly picks up.  He’s going to be sick if he stays here a moment longer.

“Ticket to LA, please.”  Charles breathlessly said.

The ticket agent glances at him worriedly, familiarity clearly crossing her eyes.  “Sir, are you okay?  Do you need to sit down?”

Charles quickly shakes his head, giving her a forced grin.  “I’m fine.  I just need the ticket to LA.”

The woman types in her computer and her face becomes apologetic, making Charles grit his teeth.  “The plane just left.  The next flight is in six hours.”

“Shit.”  Charles runs a hand through his face.  “Uh…what about Las Vegas?”

“Next flight’s in eight hours-”

“JUST-…”  He inhales sharply.  “Just tell me which flight leaves now.”

The woman’s lips turned thin at his outburst but she chooses not to comment.

“Well, a flight to New York leaves in an hour.”

“Okay, I’ll need a ticket.”

New York was probably not the best choice but he was in a rush to just get out as soon as he can.  LA and Vegas would have been preferable.  He had friends there, somewhere he can crash for a while as he waits for everything to blow over.

But as he stands there in New York, he looks at the bustle of people.  Nobody looked at him yet and for some reason it felt good to be ignored.  To not be a spectacle for once.  But he doubts it will last.  Charles adjusts his watch to the time and has his money changed to dollars so he can use it and he exits the airport.  

The warm, polluted air of New York slaps him in the face.  He got on a taxi and it drives him out of New York.  He was dropped off at a bar in some town where he got a few drinks.  He remembers glancing at his watch, a little past midnight.  Considering he crossed continents, he thought it would be much later than that. 

He repeated the process of riding a cab and stopping by a few places to eat and drink until he lost himself.  He was black out drunk.  Playing Dora the explorer was not on his bucket list for this year but he was stumbling on a sidewalk of some town he doesn’t recognize.  No landmarks or anything to help him.

He’d probably die from alcohol intoxication if he didn't stop drinking.  But the flashing neon light of the word ‘PUB’ in the corner just invites him over.  He opens the door and sees nobody inside but the old bartender, wiping glasses.  How fucking cliché, it made him chuckle.  He trudges to the counter and he frowns at the empty glasses, some still decorated with different colored liquid on the bottom.  Charles awkwardly pushes them to the side and sits on the bar stool as his eyes squint on the menu.  Aside from the typical hard drinks, he sees a variety of unfamiliar ones and decides to order a spiced apple cider from the hot section of the menu.

Alcohol was still running through his system like crazy, making the rush of his blood thrum.  He needed a warm drink to wake him up.

“Hey!”

Charles whips behind him.  A bad idea.  He grimaces and he clutches his head as the sudden movement makes the room spin.

“That’s my seat.”

He blinks hard and looks up to see a woman with red bold lips.  She was pissed by the looks of it.  But Charles knew that the flush on her cheeks was not because of her anger.  She hiccups and Charles grins.

“Yeah?  Sorry about that.”  He moves to the other stool, still watching.

“What are you smiling at?”  The woman glares at him before looking at the bartender who brings over his drink.  “Tom, I’ll have sour cherry vodka.”

“Young lady, you had eight drinks already, I think that might be enough for you.”  The old man chastises gently, an accent thick on his voice.   “It’s wee hours of the morning already.”

Charles grins behind his glass when she visibly deflates, lips pouting as she rests her flushed cheeks on her hand, hiccupping once more. 

“I’ll just have a hot buttered rum then.”

“It still has alcohol in it.”  Tom replies but starts preparing it for her anyway.  He brings over two glasses of water for them in the meantime.

Charles quietly sips on his drink, ignoring the glass of water.  The woman beside him sighs loudly, her finger tracing something on the fogged glass.

“You know.”  She starts as she straightens up in her seat before turning to him with bedroom eyes, making Charles gulp thickly.  “I don’t think I’ve seen you around here before.”

“It’s my first time here.”  He says before sipping his drink again.

She smiles at him this time.  “You’re a tourist?”

He shrugs.  “Uhm, I guess you can say that.”

Tom places her drink on the counter and she thanks him without taking her eyes off of Charles.

“You a local here?”  Charles asks as his eyes follow how the glass presses on the plumpness of her lips.

She hiccups before giggling, as if he said something really funny to her.  “I think so but I just moved here three years ago for work.”

Just watching her giggle makes Charles chuckles too, he doesn’t know why but he just does.  He clears his throat to sip his drink once more.  Cheeks flushing slightly at the effect she has on him.

She gulps down her drink without pause and Charles follows how her throat moves.  When she places the glass down, she has a goofy grin on and Charles groans out a chuckle upon seeing her whipped cream moustache.

“You have something on your…here, let me get that for you.”  Charles leans closer and he cups her cheek and glides his thumb over her upper lip.  He stared into her wide glassy eyes the entire time.

He feels his skin buzzing, heating up under her gaze.

And he gives in to the pull.  Charles leans closer to plant his lips on hers.  She hiccups once more, making them both laugh but he deepens the kiss, enjoying the flavor of her on his tongue.

A sharp cough makes them part.

Charles glances at Tom the bartender and he sheepishly scratches his neck but she grabs his hand. 

“Uhm…you wanna…”

“Yes.”  Charles answers for her, pressing his lips on hers briefly before he clumsily pulls out his wallet to pay for their drink.  He turns to Tom.  “Is this enough?”

Tom sighs and shoos them away with his hand.  “Just get outta here you two.”

The woman laughs and thanks Tom before she pulls Charles out of the pub and as soon as they’re outside, he pulls her close to him, just needing to kiss her again.  She was like a breath of fresh air from all the craziness that took place today.

1 year ago. That was the last time you talked to Charles after you broke up. He put you through so much pain and you cut all the contact with him not to get hurt again. You stopped following him on social media, blocked his number and stopped watching his races. You keep telling everyone that you’re fine even if it’s not the truth.

This was the first notification you saw this  morning on your phone. You looked at the pictures and saw Charles and her holding each other and leo and you couldn’t help but feel hurt at the reminder that you once were this girl. You were tempted to text Charles and that’s what you did. 

 Was all you sent to him. You got ready and headed to your work. While walking you bumped into someone much taller than you. "Sorry it’s my fault I wasn’t looking" you apologise before looking at the stranger’s face and meeting those eyes the ones that made you fall in love and broke your heart. Charles. The picture of him holding her played nonstop in your mind and you wanted to throw up. 

You immediately walked away before Charles could say anything and noticed a girl walking past you and his way. Alexandra. She glanced at you before going to her boyfriend. Your work day was extremely exhausting and when you came back home you showered before ordering a pizza and watching a random tv show. 

Your phone buzzed with a message and you looked at it realising that it was a text from charles.

The text said then, a dm on instagram from Alexandra popped up on your screen and you read it.

You were nearly shocked by it but then remember how girls tended to be overprotective when they were with Charles. You didn’t want to answer her directly, instead you posted a picture of you on your couch.

It was clearly directed to Alexandra. Charles liked your post clearly not understanding the real meaning. 

A few days after, you were at a bar waiting for Charles. He asked you to talk to try and become friends again. You saw him from afar and smiled at him. When he smiled back with his dimples full on display, you could swear that you saw your heart jumping out of your chest. 

"Hi" he said sitting in front of you. "Hi" you said back smiling at him. "How are you? How’s it going with Alexandra?" He hesitated before answering. "I’m not that good but Alexandra's helping me keeping my head up so yeah things are good between us." You smile softly. "You deserve happiness Charles…I hope on day I’ll find it to." He smiled at you sadly. "She’ll be happy to meet you y’know" he said attempting to lighten the mood. "I’ll be happy to see you more too." He leaned a bit closer. "We…we can’t Charles you have a girlfriend" you say before storming away. 

You got to your house and decided to make an instagram post to clarify to everyone that it wasn’t really over between you and Charles for you that the pain was still here. 

Charles phone buzzed with a notification. He looked down at it and opened it to see a picture of you crying with mascara staining your cheeks.

Once he read it he realised that your story wasn’t going to end like that. That another chapter could change everything.

Leo’s heart pounded like a drum as he paced outside the room, his shell brushing against the walls of the lair. He never imagined this moment would be happening here. You were supposed to be in a hospital, with doctors, nurses, and the best equipment to make sure everything went smoothly. But you knew that this unfortunately wouldn't be possible, the chances of a mutant baby being born were too high. How would you explain something like that?

Now, here he was, pacing like a madman while Donnie scrambled to help you through the delivery. His heart raced with every sound, every cry, every moment that passed. The tension in the air was thick, but all Leo could do was wait, caught between anxiety and overwhelming excitement.

“I should be in there with her.” Leo muttered under his breath, feeling useless. He’d faced hundreds of enemies, fought impossible battles, but nothing made him feel more helpless than not being able to take the pain away from you.

Finally, the door creaked open, and Donnie poked his head out. “Leo, you can come in now.”

Without a second thought, Leo rushed inside, his eyes immediately searching for you. You were lying on the makeshift bed Donnie had set up, your face glowing with exhaustion but also with a soft, tired smile. Leo’s breath caught in his throat when he saw what you held in your arms.

A baby. A tiny, wriggling little baby wrapped in a soft blanket.

“Is that…?” Leo’s voice cracked, and he stepped closer, his eyes wide with wonder.

You nodded, a weak smile pulling at your lips. “Meet your daughter.”

Leo’s heart swelled, the rush of love hitting him all at once. He reached out, carefully cradling the tiny baby in his large hands. She was so small, so delicate, and he was terrified of hurting her with his strength. But as she let out a soft coo, something inside Leo settled. This was his daughter.

His family.

“I… I can’t believe it,” he whispered, tears stinging his eyes. “She’s perfect.”

But before Leo could fully process the magnitude of the moment, Donnie’s voice cut through the soft sounds of the newborn. “Uh… Leo? There’s something else.”

Leo blinked, glancing at Donnie, who had a small, almost amused smile on his face. “What do you mean ‘something else’?”

Donnie stepped forward, gently holding another baby.

Leo’s jaw dropped. “Wait… another one?”

You let out a tired laugh as you carefully held the second baby, this time a boy. “Surprise!”

Leo stood frozen for a moment, staring between the two babies. His brain was struggling to catch up. Twins? He wasn’t expecting twins. The idea of one baby was already overwhelming enough, but two?

Before he could even get a word out, Donnie cleared his throat again.

“Leo… there’s a third.”

Another boy.

The room seemed to freeze as Leo turned to look at Donnie. “A third?!” His voice cracked, his mind reeling. “Triplets?!”

You nodded, still smiling despite the exhaustion. “Yeah… seems like we’re a little outnumbered now.”

Leo’s legs felt weak as he sank down beside you, his hands shaking as he stared at the three babies now nestled in your arms. Three. He was prepared for one, but three?

“Triplets…” He breathed the word out, trying to let it sink in. “I—I don’t know what to say. I thought we were having one. I didn’t… I didn’t know…”

His voice trailed off, overwhelmed by the sheer magnitude of it all. But as he looked at you, the woman he loved more than anything, and the three tiny miracles in your arms, his heart swelled with pride, love, and a touch of panic.

“I don’t know how we’re going to handle this,” he whispered, his voice cracking. “Three babies? I thought I was ready for one, but this… this is…”

You reached out, placing a hand on his cheek. “We’ll figure it out, my love. We’ve got this.”

Leo took a deep breath, nodding as he gently touched each baby’s tiny hand. “I’ll protect all of you. I promise.” His voice was thick with emotion, his mind still spinning with the reality of what had just happened.

As the babies settled in your arms, Leo leaned down and kissed your forehead. “You’re amazing,” he whispered, his lips brushing against your skin. “I don’t know how you did this, but you’re incredible.”

You smiled weakly. “I had some help from your brother.”

Leo chuckled softly, the tension in his body finally starting to melt away. “Yeah… Donnie deserves a medal for this one.”

But as he looked back at his three newborn children, a new kind of fear crept in. “We’re going to need a bigger room… and more supplies… and—”

You laughed softly, shaking your head. “Leo, stop worrying. We’ll handle it. We’ve already handled worse.”

Leo sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. “Yeah, but I never had three babies depending on me before.”

He gently took one of the babies into his arms, staring down at her tiny face. “But I promise… I’ll be the best dad I can be.”

With that, Leo sat down beside you, holding his daughter, and also looking at his other two boys. Leo never thought something like this was possible, but just looking at these little beings filled his heart with happiness. Being by your side, he felt like the most complete and happy mutant in the entire world.

“I love you.” he whispered, smiling.

April hadn’t meant to answer the phone, but Mikey curiously nudging into her had caused her to ultimately accept your request. As if to make a point at your horrible timing as April and the boys were in the mist of a game plan to take down a new gang, you’re voice rang loud through the speaker causing everyone to simultaneously jump.

“Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh!! April you are not going to believe what happened to me at work today!!”

April sighed, giving the ninja turtles apologetic glances. 

“I can’t really talk right-”

“I’ll make it quick! I swear! Okay, so I got up at seven like I usually do, right? I was really tired though, so I went to snooze my alarm and-”

Before April could politely ask you to skip ahead to what had happened at your job, the human girl was thrown for a shock when Raphael had suddenly snatched the device straight out of her hand. She went to reprimand him but all he had done was hold a large hand up to block her as he angrily snapped into the call.

“She’s busy. Call back later.”

April’s eyes had never been as wide as they were in that moment. No way did Raphael just hang up on you of all people. Said terrapin, with a triumphant grin, reached out to hand her back the phone, when it had suddenly started going off again right in his palm. If it weren’t for the growing agitation, he could have sworn it seemed to vibrate with a vengeance. With a hard tap, he answered the call ready to repeat what he had done only a few minutes ago.

“I said-”

“Excuse me!!”

Raphael felt himself fumble at your sudden shout, April standing across from him with a knowing look.

“And who the hell do you think you are, huh?! You do not cut me off when I am talking to my gal pal!!”

Raphael sputtered, caught off for but a second before snapping back.

“Who do I-?! April’s busy! I’m sure whatever little issue you got goin on at work ain’t that important!”

“Oh, and how would you know that?! You read minds huh?! I’d ask if you’re some sort of phycologist but frankly just from your voice alone I’d say you’re need of one.”

“What is that supposed to mean?!”

“I think you know what I mean, big boy.”

Raphael felt his blood boiling in that moment, his brothers Mikey and Donnie doing their best to stifle their laughter behind him while Leo simply smirked at his dismay. All the while all April could do was hide her face in her hands at the embarrassment she felt for her close friend on the line.

“Don’t call me that.”

“What? Would you rather I call you big baby instead? Ya gonna cry about it? Good, cuz sounds to me like you need to shed a few tears. It’s perfectly healthy by the way. Just thought I’d let you know that since you give off the vibe that you’d rather walk around with a stick up your ass then express your emotions.”

“A stick up my ass?! Seriously?! How about I come over and shove one up yours?! You’re just all bark and no bite!”

“Ooo, don’t promise me with a good time~.”

If it were possible, Raph’s face would match the color of his mask at your raunchy response, the suave to your tone not making things any better. It was at the sudden burst of laughter behind him from his brothers and Aprils own snickering that the brute decided in that moment the best course of action was to, once again, hang up the damn phone. 

A groan bubbled up from his throat at he tossed April back her phone, sending a glare to his still cackling siblings. 

“Will ya all stop laughin. Let’s just get back to the stupid plan.”, he glared, arms crossing.

It was Leo, who had to take a few breaths to gather himself, that brought back the others to focus.

“Okay, okay, you heard the big boy. Let’s ready up.”

Green eyes glared daggers at the leader in blue for his jab, the other winking back with a shit eating grin. Raphael stepped forward to make a quip in response to Leo, when a chortle behind him had alerted all the turtles. It was from April, who’s eyes crinkled in the corners as she did her best to bite back some giggles, holding up her phone to show what had caused such a reaction out of her. Each brother leaned in, squinting at the small text on screen and then let out more laughter, Mikey rocking a groaning Raph’s shoulders with congratulations.

On the screen before them, read a text sent by the very person who riled him up quicker then anyone on record.
