YES. she was two years older than the lot of them and was a prefect, who proceeded to make lily miserable when she got the position by being snooty and constantly criticising anything she did. she wasn’t in the order, didn’t fight, and had decided to research horcruxes—which she was loud and proud about. voldemort got annoyed when he heard about it and offed her quite easily the next day, making him only two minutes late to the next DE meeting.

marlene mckinnon? nearly four decades older than the marauders, and went to school with mr mort. perfect student, just like him, and became an unspeakable after graduating. taught DADA in the marauders’ second year but quit in march bc she hates children not on her own (she ended up adopting three with her wife, and they were the only ones she could tolerate—still pleased when they finally became functional adults). mentored the marauders when they joined the order and found them very annoying. death eaters assassinated her and her entire family during a birthday weekend by making ppl unable to exit and then setting fire to it.

abraxas malfoy was not an original death eater. he despised voldemort because he thought voldemort was ridiculing the pureblood movement (and he was right). was entirely unaware that lucius was pumping his allowance into the war machine, and lost his shit when the kid showed up with a dark mark and an order for arrest. regardless, he was a fun and sweet grandfather to draco and it’s a good thing he passed before voldemort showed up at malfoy manor and gave draco the mark as well.

you can do SO MUCH with these characters and the limited information canon gave us. make them as uninteresting or interesting as you like. they are not set characters. fanon is ideally diverse in ideas, and certainly not a rule. you can play with them SO much.

the only thing i ask is to not make every character “”cool”” and “”edgy”” because humans are just not like that 😭 some people are just boring. you can make your meow meow boring or awful, i promise like regulus as an absolute, despicably racist dickhead who was simultaneously incredibly boring

5. gonna have to go instrumental for this question because i don't listen to a lot of english language music xD. my most favourite thing about sirius is his relationship with harry, so 'window to the past' from the poa soundtrack always gives me the absolute feelios. it's so melancholy and beautiful and i have been a gary oldman girlie since i was 7 and i saw batman begins so it's always been a favourite.

6. hmm not to sound awfully arrogant but i think it would be achievements in academics? i never had to work very hard for it either, it just sort of came to me naturally.

Regulus/Harry

Send me a ship and I give you my honest opinion

Ohh this is interesting (and controversial given jegulus' rise in popularity, but I don't like jegulus so we can ignore that part).

I will say that, like Draco, Regulus is one of those characters that just kinda Annoys me, generally. So I don't tend to actively ship him with anyone, or like actively engage with his content? But, this could be interesting in a different way.

I don't think this would be a great ship in like, a longterm good relationship way. But I'm picturing a fic all about magic and horcruxes and ancient Black family stuff. What if they have a shared connection to this ancient dark magic because of their experiences and connection to the Black family, how do horcruxes play into this? Harry traveling back in time to figure this out and meeting a Regulus who's just about to become a death eater (out of his own free will, before he realises better) and how does magic interact with time? Or Harry going back to Grimmauld Place and finding this magic artefact that used to be Regulus' and the magic? is still alive? and there's something there?

I realise that that says nothing about the actual relationship LMAO but I feel like it'd be interesting in either a romantic or a platonic connection sense, honestly. Like they're not gonna be a fluffy happy couple, but they can have some seriously intense and fundementally life-altering magical experiences through time and dark magic together. Fun times.

Lady Andromeda Black stood and started pacing back and forth in front of her father.

LAST “I think there are other ways you could be working out your frustrations,” he’d said with a grin that Ted had scowled at.

Thoughts of how to work out his frustrations were exactly why he hadn’t slept the night before.

I don’t think there’s any canonical evidence to suggest that Sirius was GNC, but I also don’t think there’s much evidence for him being masc presenting either.

Sirius does have long hair in prisoner of Azkaban, and Order of the Phoenix, but before he went to prison is hair is described as being short by Moody.

“Sirius, when he still had short hair”—Mad-Eye Moody in chapter nine of Order of The Phoenix.

Of course, Sirius could’ve recently gotten a haircut, but I feel like it implied that Sirius, for as long as Moody had known him, had had short hair.

Clothes in the Wizarding world is unisex, and Sirius never wore muggle clothes in the books.

Molly thinks Bill’s hair too long, but Ginny calls her old-fashioned so this is most likely not the prevailing opinion societally.

“And your hair’s getting silly, dear,” said Mrs. Weasley, fingering her wand lovingly. “I wish you’d let me give it a trim. . . .”

“I like it,” said Ginny, who was sitting beside Bill. “You’re so old- fashioned, Mum. Anyway, it’s nowhere near as long as Professor Dumbledore’s”—Chapter five, Goblet of fire.

So my point is that there isn’t that much canonical evidence for either of these Headcanons, and therefore neither is more valid than the other. If you wanted Sirius to wear muggle clothes, than canonically it makes the most sense for him to wear a kirtle, a dresslike garment that was worn by both men and women in the Middle Ages in Great Britain.

I don’t know how to finish this, but this is where my rambling ends.
