I genuinely do not believe the 3rd movie could do what Shth did to explain why Shadow became an agent. And tbh I don't really think that Shth explains it well enough either, and I'm not happy that Shadow is still seemingly an agent. Also like. Having a job and being independent is not the same as being adopted. It'd just be sooooo SO cheap if the third movie's ending message is Forgiveness. That isn't the POINT, the point is revenge and acceptance and that even after being manipulated, even when you're built to be a killer, even when you suffered incredible trauma, you can still be strong and overcome your pain. It's about having strength even when you're stuck grasping with horrific truth of yourself!!!! It's about your trauma being a part of you and learning to accept it's a part of you, but it isn't All you are!!!!!!!

honestly I like pretty much all the characters a lot, but diasomnia definitely holds my heart (and my art). all four of them are my special little guys. episode 7 has been such a delightful treat for me and me specifically. >:)

pre-episode 7 I would've said I couldn't choose between all of my beautiful morons, but getting Lilia's backstory did shoot him up into the #1 favorite-of-the-favorites boy slot! he's an old man who's done with all that war and tragedy business and is now focused on the most important part of life: playing video games and wearing cute outfits! he's 5'2" and built like a twig but he can suplex anyone in the room! he's really bad at pretending to be an Average Teen! what's not to love

THAT SAID I am also extremely fond of our esteemed headmaster-slash-horrible bird dad. he's a fancy goth with the soul of a harried accountant. he might be the mastermind behind the entire plot, or he might just be an idiot. he might be both at once. he's awful. he's magnificent.

God its the little things isnt it Came home from a longish night got slapped in the face emotionally (my fault and also no big deal(???? a.) just Ye Olde rejection sensitivity) and I stared at the clock after watching videos and said "If I make food I won't get in bed by 9:30." and made food anyway because I knew it would make me feel better and it did!

Like lil progress bits. Like I didn't deal with the. slap in the face "properly" but I'm setting myself up to keep functioning normally and be ok for the rest of the night and that is what matters.

1.) @tesscourtes' human!Bill is a lil cutie-patootie menace that I very badly wanted to draw, and,

2.) I have a - M I G H T Y - N E E D - for any version of human!Bill to find any way he possibly can to annoy Ford a whole lot :D

Also, 3.) I like to headcanon that Bill's knowledge in The Sciences is mostly limited to 'Ways I Can Make A Really Cool Doomsday Portal', and everything else he knows is just a slapdash mix of the stuff he remembers from whatever schooling he went through on Euclydia, a whole awful lot of lucky guesses (which he WILL gaslight you about if you tell him he's wrong), and - naturally - conning all the rest of the answers he needs out of any more educated saps who are unfortunate enough to be around him at the time (answers which he will then proceed to take credit for), so as far as I'm concerned, this "outfit" is perfect for him.
