favouritism. (pt.2)

thinking of this, there really isn't a better word to describe my mom other than favouritism. all of my life I've been trying so hard to impress my mom just so I could hear some compliments from her. yea sure that she did compliment me, but all of those were from when I was younger. my mother had always been like a friend to me, but not something to be envy of. she's like those mean girls that would say mean things to you and asks why are you sad, bullshit. the older I get, the more distance I'm drifting away from her. I never want to perceive and look at myself as a sad person. I've always wanted to be the best of me trying my best not to disappoint them, not wanting to see more disappointment in their eyes, I could tell the judgement looking and starring across at me feeling like I was not worth a penny and deserves nothing. I had so any evidence that could prove to my mother that she favourites my sister, I mean I kind of get it. my sister does almost everything my mom says, like learning ballet and give up dreams that she had when she was younger. but to the conclusions I am completely opposite of that, I learn to be quite when I see the atmosphere being so silent and deadly. but my mom has always shown more interests towards my sister, let's give her a name shall we? Lexi. not her real name but I m tired of calling her my sister. yea sure, Lexi is a good daughter, so good that she forgot how to be herself when she was younger. my mom is an extreme narcissist. she always had love herself a bit way too much. she had always been confident in herself, she trust her own extinct more than our words. but lemme be honest, through out my life, the years I've spent with her.. she's been an amazing mother until I was 6. the trip to Toronto ruined our relationship between the families. although we look like nothing had ever happened, but we all know that we are just lying and pretending, the break and the cracks between us has began cracking even more every time we talk. even though it sounds like nothing make sense now, and it just sounds like a little kid trying wannabe a poem artist and just couldn't get to the point. but I promise you, I'll get to the point soon. just lemme put on some statements.

alright, as soon as we get back, (keep in mind that during the trip back from Toronto was 2017 or 2016?) anyways, me and Lexi are dancers, especially ballerinas, but in Taiwan we don't really use the word ''ballerina'' to describe ballet dancers, we literally just call it ballet dancers. and what I meant was that my mom just had an obsession with ballet. she could ruin our life just for us to learn ballet, but you see.. I've always been more invested on the side of Kpop, I used to have my own Kpop covers on my mom's YouTube channel. the type of pop dancing was just more my thing. even if I love the elegancy of ballet, my point of view. anyhow, there was one master class I insist to attend, a 6-7 year old dancing with a bunch of 19-25 trained professionals, really? I was humiliated in there. I couldn't even do a right turn. I stood alone as I saw everyone having friends and chatters, I immediately saw my mother's eyes, starring down and across at me, shaking her head. knowing it that it was disappointment of how I failed my turns, I felt terrible, the need of throw up, maybe it was the car sickness that we arrived by, or maybe it was just plain dizziness by how much I've turned in my ballet dancing. growing up until 9-10 years old, my mom always came to every class with us, she thinks that it's her way of affection, but in return I've always wanted to hear compliments from her after every single class was done. I remember so clear that one day I was at another ballet class, a new studio, I tried my best to get all of her attention just so she would play attention to me.. but nothing except for her looking at her phone, nothing else, not even the head shake, although I hate that. after the class, I walked out of the door, exciting and curious what's her reaction going to be, instead this was what happened.

''your teacher spoke to me today, seems like your turns were out of synchronization with the others? you know you can work on that at home, I'm gonna need to cut off your free time today.''

the moment I heard the words, a feeling that I was hurt but I just can't find the right words to describe how I even felt. a child, just wanting to hear what her mother's compliments. instead she sees nothing but herself.

The crisp wind sent a chill down Seonghwa's back as he got off the train and made his way into work. Sighing to himself as he wished he'd worn a jacket but knowing it was too late.

The bell made a distinctive ding as he opened the door of "records and more" which was the shop where he worked. Records and more was a music/coffee shop which sold everything from records to cd's to kpop even! also selling band tee's and right down the back was a little coffee place where you could get a hot drink and obsess over what you just bought.

Song mingi was the guy who owned the place, he was 30 years old and the shop was passed down to him when his father died. So far the shop consisted of Mingi, Seonghwa, and Jeongin who was the shop's barista (he only worked in the coffee section while Mingi and Seonghwa tackled the music section)

As Seonghwa walked inside he was greeted by Mingi and Jeongin as usual but also two other people. They were sitting on one of the many armchairs each sipping on what looked like an iced americano.

"Morning guys..." Seonghwa trailed off.

"Ah Seonghwa come in I want you to meet my two new employee's! This is Yunho. He's going to be Jeongin's assistant helping with coffee but if Jeongin doesn't need help Yunho will help us clean" Mingi introduced a tall lanky dark haired male who only nodded in response. He and Jeongin walked off so that Jeongin could show him the ropes.

"And this is Jungkook! he's going to be just another employee like you but i'd like you to train him up first, show him how we run things" Mingi introduced another dark haired male but this one was much more buff and had a smile on his face.

"Hi Seonghwa-ssi It's lovely to meet you" Jungkook stood up and held his hand out for Seonghwa to shake, he did.

"It's lovely to meet you too Jungkook-ssi"

Mingi left to go to his office, which meant that Seonghwa and Jungkook were alone for now until customers started arriving. He spent that time showing Jungkook first how to use the computer and till (as he thought this would have been the most important thing to show first) Then took Jungkook on a tour of the shop showing him where all things were kept.

"It's all organised by genre. Pop's what you first see when you walk in because Mingi believes it's the most popular. Then you move into rnb, rap, soul, jazz, country, reggae, kpop, then all of the rock genres, metal, punk. We have both records and cds available. Over here is just a broom cupboard which has all of the cleaning supplies I believe that will more so be Yunho's job rather than ours but just be prepared to help lets say Yunho was sick one day" Seonghwa tried to be tourer but he also had to be quick as customers would start arriving any minute now.

"Closer to the back we have the t-shirt section, mainly band tee's or kpop related tee's but we have a couple of Taylor Swift and Beyoncé ones. Right here is the bathroom, blue door for boys, pink door for girls. We can use this and so can customers. The last two things are the cafe over there where you see all the lounges and upstairs has the break room plus Mingi's office. Ooh and a locked red door never try to open it Mingi lives on the second floor so that leads to his apartment" Seonghwa finishes with a great sigh, a lot of information to spill out in the small time he had. Spot on he was because he just heard the first ding of the day, signalling the first customer.

The rest of the week went on well for Seonghwa, but nothing fantastic happened either. He was either working or studying, or holding Wooyoung tight when he had an unexpected episode during lunch.

Someone had made a comment in passing about the "crazy one" which just sent Wooyoung into a frenzy. He yelled at them asking what would they do if one of their friends died in their arms? then just broke down sobbing when they left. Sometimes it was tough being the mum friend of the group, but he knew that if he wasn't his entire friend group would turn chaotic.

You see, Wooyoung was a little damaged having witnessed one of his friends being shot then dying in his arms bleeding out, he developed PSTD because of it, but he wasn't gonna let that depress him. He just has episodes sometimes and needs to be comforted. Felix and Hyunjin are a little wild, they love to go out and while Seonghwa usually prefers a night in; he will go with them to make sure they're safe.

Yoongi and Jimin are wild too, they like going out as well. Jimin is a cam boy 3 nights of the week but as long as it isn't one of those nights he's always down to go out. Then there's Taehyung who prefers staying in like Seonghwa but he also has huge FOMO meaning he hates missing out on things, sometimes Seonghwa can convince him to just stay in and watch a film together but most times the FOMO wins. Seonghwa can tell he isn't really enjoying it however and would have rather watched that film.

Lastly there was Seungmin and Jisung who the main group were only casually friends with as they were in a frat. There included in the main group chat and get invited to all the nights out but not necessarily get invited to more intimate things. They're both lovely people but the frat usually keeps them busy with frat things. Seonghwa doesn't know what frat things in-tales as he isn't in a frat but frankly he's thankful for that.

A couple of days later he was having lunch with Felix, Taehyung and Jimin. Felix was discussing the plans for the party on Saturday. Apparently we don't hate Jongsung anymore? they were Felix's words anyway, Seonghwa didn't really mind he hated picking sides unless it was black and white what side he should be on.

"How was work Seongie? hows that new omega you work with?" Taehyung asked, slowing sipping on his iced americano.

"Oh no he's actually an Alpha" Seonghwa corrected taking a bite of his white choc raspberry muffin.

"Alpha? are you sure? when I hugged you just before all I smelt was omega?"

"Ah yeah unfortunately he's always mistaken for an Omega because he has an Omegan smell and can be quite submissive but he swears he's an Alpha and I don't wanna judge so..."

"Right, so like a sub Alpha?" Jimin pipes in.

"They exist?" Taehyung surprisingly asks.

"An Alpha who wants to bottom, that's like saying an Omega who wants to top" Jimin starts to laugh.

"I mean, a persons wolf is different from their sexual preferences" Felix states, wincing from how hot his americano is. Felix was always the odd one out who got a hot drink during lunch.

"Well I've never met one, most Alphas just wanna pound you into next Tuesday not that I'm complaining about that" Jimin says.

"How'd your heat go Taehyung? Yours was last week yeah?" Felix questions.

"Aw you had to spend it alone didn't you, sorry baby" Jimin pouts before kissing him on the cheek.

"Don't be sorry I mean yeah it was fucking painful but Jimin's right I didn't have an Alpha so there was nothing I could do" Taehyung shrugs.

Chan had invited Felix to one of their parties and it was fine for Felix to bring friends so that he wasn't alone or anything. Seungmin and Jisung couldn't come as it was wrong for them to attend other frat parties plus they had their own frat party to host, but the rest of the gang was invited.

As recently expected Felix left to be with Chan and go dance. Seonghwa loved how cute they were, smiling to himself while he watched them be free with one another. They started making out and he was almost thankful someone bumped into him because it pulled his eyes away from the quickly heating scene.

"I'm so sorry, wait your like so hot" the mystery guy was staring straight into Seonghwa's eyes, it was hard for lim to look away.

Not that he wanted to anyway because the man Seonghwa was staring at had to be the most beautiful man to ever exist. His ashy hair was parted in the middle and the wild scent of sea salt mist hit him like a ton of bricks.

"Oh thank you" Seonghwa was blushing, thankful for the dark lighting.

"Hey do you wanna drink? have a beer" the man handed Seonghwa a red cup filled with the gold liquid. As the mom friend he knew better than to except a drink from a stranger but before he could refuse it was like the man saw the scared expression on his face.

"Ah please don't stress Binnie asked me to get him a beer and I re-filled my whine but your way cuter. Hongjoong babe come meet..."

"Seonghwa" he stated, taking the beer and a sip of it. Another man "Hongjoong" came over at the mention of his name.

"Isn't he hot babe!"

"Please excuse Minnie here he can be quite forward after a few wines, but he also isn't wrong you are hot" Hongjoong exclaimed, taking him in.

"Do you think we should ask him?" Minho whisper/yelled into Hongjoong's ear, "He seems like he could be down."

"I'm sorry down for what exactly?" Seonghwa asked, a confused look on his face.

"Well to be frank, were a couple, a polyamorous couple to be exact and we've been looking for someone to connect with, hopefully have sex with, someone who shares the same feelings as us. No pressure though feel free to shut us down if you're not poly" Hongjoong explains and Seonghwa gasps.

The thing is, Seonghwa is poly. He figured out he was poly during his first threesome when he really enjoyed it and could see himself having multiple life partners. It was always hard trying to find love after that encounter because of course not everyone is poly so when Seonghwa would tell people he would be ok with a third that's usually when the relationship ended because the other wasn't poly.

He's just decided to tell people from the beginning now that he's poly so that others know what they're getting into before they get into it. Sadly the last time Seonghwa had sex was a few months ago because of this, but he can't change who he is. He just has so much love in his heart and wants to share it with more than one person.

The fact that someone else is telling him that he's poly! was Seonghwa dreaming?

"I actually am poly, wow is this real? I've been looking for someone to connect with too! and you guys seem so nice I would love to grab a coffee sometime!" Seonghwa was beaming. Hongjoong and Minho, two of the most stunning guys he has ever laid his eyes on were asking him out, HIM!!!!

"You wanna have sex with us too though right?" Minho giggled, it was clear that he had had one too many wines but it was safe to say that Hongjoong would look after him, considering he has his arm wrapped around him.

"I mean I haven't been laid in over 3 months so sex sounds great" Seonghwa winked in their direction, "Here put your number in my phone, I'll text you then you'll have mine" Seonghwa handed over his phone, finishing the last of his beer while he waited.

All of a sudden it was like the mood changed, Jimin came rushing up to him surprisingly sober; "You gotta come outside with me NOW! Wooyoung and Yoongi are fighting"

Hongjoong and Minho looked confused as they handed Seonghwa back his phone, "everything ok?"

"Sorry no I have to go. But I am heavily interested I promise to text you" They were Seonghwa's parting words as he left with Jimin to go outside.

Seonghwa expected maybe some small argument but he never expected this.

Felix was in hysterics as he tried to help Taehyung stay awake which sent alarm bells off in Seonghwa's head!!! Over on the other side he saw Yoongi and Wooyoung in what seemed to be a screaming match!

Jimin was trying to break it up so that things hopefully didn't get physical, "Fuck! Where's Hyunjin!" He yelled out.

Seonghwa knelt down besides Felix and Taehyung, Felix crying uncontrollably while holding Taehyung who was groaning.

"Felix baby what happened?" Seonghwa needed to know, his beta needed to know.

"I don't know, I think he was drugged! one minute he was fine then he left to go get a drink so I continued dancing with Chan but I noticed that he never came back so I went looking for him and found him outside here vomiting" Felix ranted, clearly overwhelmed with the situation.

"Ok here's what were gonna do. Felix, I want you to take a deep breath for me ok? you're scaring me a little with how worked up your getting" Seonghwa started and was cut off when Felix tried to speak but he shushed him; "I will call 911 for Tae, and I want you to call Hyunjin and ask him to come help Jimin break up the fight alright?"

"Ok Hyung" Felix croaked, using his shaking hands to take out his phone.

Fucking hell.

Seonghwa never guessed this.

Who could have drugged Taehyung? why would they want to? what were their intentions?

Seonghwa's head was spinning but he knew he had to look after his friends first.

"911 whats your emergency?" the operator asked.

"Hi my name is Seonghwa and I'm currently at a Jongsung university frat party, my friend Taehyung appears to have been drugged and isn't responding well" he explains, hoping he said everything correctly.

"Ok thank you, I just have a few questions before I send anyone. Do you possibly know how he was drugged?"

"Well were at a party so I think his drink was spiked."

"Ok, and has he vomited at all?"

"My other friend Felix who found him said yes he did."

"You said he isn't responding, how?"

"His pupils are heavily dilated, it's hard to keep him awake, he just keeps groaning!"

"Alright thank you sir an ambulance is on it's way." with that the call ended, so did Felix's call with Hyunjin.

It was going to be a long night.

Listen, this man is busy being a genius and has very little time for anything else

So you best believe the professor makes every second count by engaging in that High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT). TABATA, HERE HE COMES!

Just watching him go all out on those Burpees, Mountain Climbers, Jump Squats, Lateral Slides, Lunges and Push-ups is making you work up a sweat (though you’re just watching him from the sidelines sipping on your bubble tea)

…and yet, he makes it all seem so easy

Don’t let Lord Luci fool you: beneath that shapeless lab coat, sleek, powerful muscles lie in wait. The man is agile and strong AF — you’ll feel like you’ve caught sight of a panther in the wild, all the muscles of his body tensing with each powerful burst of movement

When he’s not slaying those HIIT work-outs, Lucien enjoys hitting up the archery range, incinerating the panties (and a few pairs of boxer briefs) of anyone who happens to lay eyes on him. Case in point:

As a Special Task Force agent, the man’s life (and those around him) is literally dependent on the fitness of his body, so when it comes to working out, Birdcop ain’t messing around

Think of every movie training montage you’ve ever seen: Ninja Assassin, Rocky, that scene of Ben Affleck in Batman v Superman, etc. Yup, that’s just a normal day for Gavin

Let’s not forget that hand-to-hand combat. Gavin is especially proficient at boxing, Muay Thai and Taekwondo (Momma said knock you out!!)

Boy’s got that suspension trainer set up at home so he can fit in those last minute sessions before his missions

Little known fact: Gavin was a b-boy back in the day and still breaks with his old crew every now and then. His signature move: The Windmill (how fitting LOL)

Kiro:

As a celebrity, Kiro has to adhere to a very strict diet and exercise regimen (Savin has his hands full with this)

On top of his usual cardio and weight-training sessions, Kiro has hours upon hours of dance rehearsals (that hardcore Kpop-esque choreography ain’t no joke)

In reality though, parkour and freerunning is this man’s jam — he’s got the strength, agility, flexibility and grace to make it all look so fluid and easy

Kiro also loves a good barre workout. Nothing gets his thighs shaking quite like working individual muscles to the point of exhaustion

In all honesty, this man works hard for his lean, muscular bod. He deserves a damn bag of chips every now and then. 80/20 rule man.

Shaw:

Blessed with youth, Shaw’s naturally fast metabolism helps him keep that lean physique (ahem, do you see all the Pepsi-Coke mixtures he consumes?!)

He doesn’t really work out, per se; keeps active by booking it everywhere on his skateboard, lifting those cans of spray paint and rocking out onstage with his bass guitar

The boy is definitely proficient in Parkour though (comes in handy when he’s running away from the authorities)

Little known fact: Shaw is also an excellent breakdancer. May have clashed with Gavin from time to time on the dance floor when their crews battled each other, resulting in freak lightning and wind storms. His signature move: Halos.

Ash, what kpop groups do you stan?

Hi anon im very happy for this ask and i love you and i just mwah hug. Its nice to see people interested in my fixations and letting me ramble yk? Ik ive been annoying everyone (ESPECIALLY ON TWT) with enhypen so ehe its nice to see people wanna hear abt it. im sorry i have to ramble now (bcs me with hyperfixationdfhgs)

OK SO i mostly stan 1 relatively new but pretty big group called ENHYPEN. lemme just,, Enhypen commonly stylized as ENHYPEN, is a South Korean boy band formed by Belift Lab, a joint venture between CJ ENM and Hybe Corporation. This group was made through a survival show called I-LAND and out of 23 competitors 7 ended up debuting as enhypen. Something interesting i think about this group is that they don't have designated positions except for oldest, youngest and leader so everyone is basically good at everything though some has their strong points.

The 7 members are (i also linked all the moments mentioned so if anyone wants to see just click):

1. Yang Jungwon (the one in the emerald green clothes)

So hes the Leader of enhypen! very mature mom friend, very caring and always thinks about other peoples feelings. All rounder, has vv stable vocals and good at popping (HE DID IT IN HIS SLEEP ONCE DHSGFJ PRECIOUS BB. Also adorable and has sceri duality. ALSO HES 17 his bday is feb 2004 WHICH MEANS HES THE YOUNGEST LEADER IN ALL OF BIGHIT He also trained and competed in professional taekwando.

2. Lee Heesung (the one with slightly blue hair in the top left)

He is the oldest at 19 years old (15 oct 2001) Very famous at I-LAND and among bighit trainees in general for being one of the best trainees and aces. He has perfect pitch and also is a reallyy good dancer. Although he is the oldest hes very playful and pure crackhead energy really. OH ALSO he trained with TXT and are pretty close with their members.

3. Jay / Park Jongseong (standing up with cream blazer and also next to the guy with pink hair)

He is the second oldest at 19 years old (20 april 2002) often compared to Levi ackerman. Looks intimidating but soft asf. was in one unit with sunghoon when i-land started and before they came in the room everyone was so awkward and after Jay came in everyone started talking so very moodmaker. Lets his younger mates tease him and never fights back. also hes fucking rich thats it (his dad owns sinar tour)

4. Park Sunghoon (sitting down with brown blazer)

Hes 18 (8 dec 2002) He used to be a professional figure skater and competed in international competitions before he decided he wanted to be an idol. He has a lil sister and he takes care of her so well so wholesome cry. Hes naturally funny and says whatever is on his mind and its just hilarious. He can also be jokingly narcissistic and its rlly funny. He was also ranked num 1 visual by I-LANDers.

5. Jake/Sim Jaeyoon (sitting down with red blazer)

Hes 18 (15 nov 2002
) Lil aussie boy. Very softie has a dog and obsessed with said dog (its name is layla its adorable) also has a rich dad and also has trained the shortest. In i-land he was an icon of growth because of how much he grew and improved despite his short training time.

6. Kim Sunoo (pink hair)

18 yrs old (24 june 2003)
hes the aegyo KING and soo confident. Hes really good at lifting peoples moods and is a ray of sunshine. Hes also an icon of growth too because he was the first one eliminated from i-land and came back and ranked 1st kjdshfg mint chocolate ice cream and selfie lover

7. Nishimura Ni-Ki (the one with the long kenma like hair)

He is the maknae and 15 yrs old (9 december 2005) he literally debuted at 14 like WHT how what am i doing with my life. He started dancing at a really young age and is really really good at it (he can memorize a whole choreo in 10 mins. He really knows how to make the older ones laugh and gets treated like a baby even though hes one of the tallest shhs

I MET YOO KIHYUN: the post of my LIFE.

I received two (2) tickets to enter the raffle for an online fansign through Japanese Tower Records, since I live here and the store is about a 40-minute train ride’s journey away from me. I almost didn’t even register the raffle tickets, y’all; I thought, there is no way. There’s no way I am going to win with TWO raffle tickets after there are people who have purchased literally thousands of albums for this fansign.

Yet I decided to enter. And this, my good dudes, is what transpired.

First of all, I ACCIDENTALLY SCREWED UP THE CALL~~I was supposed to be #6 out of 30, and they disconnected the call because I couldn’t get the mic to work (I was on the phone with the staff and literally HEARD YOO KIHYUN’S VOICE IN THE BACKGROUND--IT WAS TORTURE). So I tried not to cry as I sat there in front of my phone, hoping and praying desperately that they’d give me a second chance to answer my phone and get the mic right.

And they DID!!!! They bumped me to the very end. And this, THIS is what transpired.

He asked me where I was (definitely think he was surprised to hear that I live in Tokyo). He said he wants to come to Tokyo. I personally invited him to Tokyo. Yes. I did that. Hahah. As if there’s not a whole virus ravaging the world right now, preventing him from going on tour. That’s probably the closest I got to being flustered xD He said he couldn’t come Tokyo yet but that he wants to, and I told him I understood. Oh, gosh. I’m so glad I somehow didn’t notice how precious his smile was until AFTER the video call bc lemme tell you, if I’d have focused on his smile right here, y’all, I’d have lost it.

I explained to Kihyun, in simple terms because I didn’t want to say anything that the monitors would consider “inappropriate,” that there was a time in my life two years ago when I didn’t feel beautiful or confident. I explained that I stopped eating and became very sick. During that time, Kihyun and the other members of Monsta X made me smile and helped me with their kindness. I explained then....

I explained then that I am now SO healthy and SO happy and living my dream...to which this precious human literally clasped his hands together and did a small bow at me. I then thanked him for his kindness in Korean (y’all don’t even know...I had a friend send me the translation and then practiced the pronunciation with her for ages) and bowed to him.

Listen to me. I know it probably sounds ridiculous that I bowed to him. But there were two things I had in mind. One, he knew I lived in Tokyo. Two, I’m pretty sure he heard me speaking Japanese with the staff during the connecting portion of the call because I heard him say something to staff in the background. And because my bow looked natural--because it’s something I do multiple times DAILY while living here--I do genuinely believe it conveyed gratitude rather than just looking awkward and koreaboo-y.

SEVENTH PHOTO: Yoo Kihyun is speechless, which could perhaps be a product of the fact that I threw a bunch of English/a butchered Korean thank-you at him after a bunch of phone calls with Japanese Monbebe, but he kept saying “wow,” which was incredibly gratifying because I was not sure how he would respond to my story and hoped that it would not be personal to an uncomfortable degree

Amidst a lot of “wow,” Kihyun told me exactly that.

“Wow. That was...wow. That's the reason I do this job, and you are...wow. Thank you so much. You just said we changed your life, right?”

(to which I responded, yes, even though that wasn’t EXACTLY what I said--but it was the message I conveyed, and I’m so thankful he parsed that out of my thank-you monologue)

He clasped his hands together and told me how happy it made him to hear my story. “Wow. For sure. Yeah. Wow.” Basically, he said “wow” about 20 times.

He said so as he blew a kiss to me. So, y’know. I said it back, even though I hadn’t originally wanted to because I don’t use those words when it comes to kpop stars because???? i don’t know them????? i only know the part of themselves that they present to the public??? except i do say i love wonho but that’s because he’s wonho and you just...don’t NOT say you love wonho

But not saying “I love you” felt incomplete, because isn’t that what I was saying the whole time I was explaining to him how he changed my life?

Long story short, it’s insane and amazing and insanely amazing that I had this opportunity to thank Yoo Kihyun for the tremendously positive impact he’s had in my life, especially because I know how rare it is for people who don’t have the means to buy hundreds of albums to get into fansigns like these. In a vicious industry where it would be the easiest thing in the world to decide to detach emotionally from the public,

where you can play the “standoffish” card and make it look cool,

where you’re not required to communicate with fans so often, literally counseling them + learning their language so you can send them sweet messages + being part of a group that makes sure that awards are always credited to their fans and not just the group themselves,

Yoo Kihyun chooses to be kind, and gosh, the guy definitely has edge and sharpness and won’t take crap from anyone, but the heart he chooses to share with us motivates me all over again to be open and enthusiastic and forgiving.

And y’all. He thanked me. HE thanked ME. He didn’t have to. But it’s something I’ll cherish til the day I die.

Bakugou frowned upon accidentally overhearing the conversation his girlfriend was having with their friend. Who the fuck was she talking about? She wouldn't cheat, right? No way, y/n wouldn't ever do that and Mina definitely wouldn't encourage her. Maybe it was a guy Mina liked or something.

For now, he decided to keep it for himself and continued walking, clenching his hands into fists as he tried not activating his quirk hearing y/n squeal yet again. He didn’t know why but it was pissing him off.

The next day, Mina and y/n entered class, giggling as they continued their conversation. Bakugou nonchalantly glanced at the pair from his seat and grumbled when he realised they were talking about that guy yet again.

"Hey Bakugou!" Mina greeted him before greeting the rest of the bakusquad.

"Hey babe! How did training go yesterday?" Y/n asked sweetly as she looked at her boyfriend. Bakugou scoffed and looked away, causing the girl to frown. She opened her mouth to ask what was wrong when Aizawa entered the class and soon everyone was in their seats. Her lips formed into a small pout as she had to wait until class was over to talk to her boyfriend again. Why was he acting off? She knew he was a grumpy gremlin, but this was different.

She tried making eye contact with him, but it seemed as if he was completely avoiding her gaze, staring down at his paper or looking at Aizawa. Bakugou was someone who cared about his grades but usually he'd glance at y/n occasionally.

As soon as the bell rang, Bakugou left class, causing y/n to frown again. She walked up to Kirishima who had most likely noticed his friend's weird behaviour as well.

"Hey Kirishima, do you know if anything is wrong with Bakugou? He seems to ignore me." Y/n pouted. Kirishima just smiled at her reassuringly before answering her question.

"I think he probably went to bed a little late. You know how that guy is when it comes to his bedtime." Y/n giggled and nodded. Boy, Bakugou was definitely a disciplined person.

"You're probably right." At least she hoped so..

Bakugou sighed, feeling annoyed but not really knowing why. Was he annoyed at y/n? At himself? At nothing? At that jerk she was talking about? He had no idea, but he did know it just didn't feel right.

What was so special about that dickhead, huh? Her boyfriend was right here!

He stopped dead in his tracks when he saw y/n, who he had been trying to avoid, sitting on the couch with Mina and watching something on TV.

"Look at him!" Y/n exclaimed as she pointed at Chan. "Gosh I can't with his dancing! And that voice, how does he do that while moving so much at the same time?"

Bakugou was finally putting the pieces together. She was talking about some singer?

"Hey Bakugou, what are you doing here?" Mina, who had caught on Bakugou's jealousy smirked. "Wanna watch too? Your girlfriend here loves this group!" Y/n giggled and blushed as she hit her friend playfully. When she looked at her boyfriend, she noticed his cheeks were slightly red, his face a had an annoyed expression and his head were balled into fists. She squinted her eyes at him and then got up.

"Wait a second. Were you jealous, Katsuki?" Y/n asked as she walked up to Bakugou, who muttered some incoherent words as he looked anywhere but at his girlfriend. Mina couldn't help but let out a giggle before she left the two.

"Why the fuck would I be jealous." Bakugou said, though his angry tone completely gave away that he was lying. Y/n couldn't help but smile before wrapped her arms around him, hugging him as she rested her head on his chest.

"You know I love you right? I wouldn't trade you for the world, Suki." She smiled, knowing that he secretly liked the nickname.

"Don't say that when we're here, dumbass. Someone could enter the room."  Bakugou mumbled, his tone completely contradicting his words.

"I would never ever leave you, not even for Chan." She giggled, to which Bakugou huffed as he wrapped his arms around y/n as well.

"Of course not. I'm fucking awesome." He said, which made her chuckle. His confidence was something she never got tired of. However, she was also aware that he had his insecurities just like everybody else.

"You know, you could've just told me that you were jealous." She said after a small silence. Bakugou sighed before nuzzling his face in y/n's hair.

"I thought it was dumb, and I didn't even know you were just talking about some stupid Korean singer." Y/n pouted.

"Heey, just because hes not as amazing as you doesn't mean he's stupid."

"Whatever." He mumbled. Y/n giggled and glanced up at her boyfriend, a giddy smile never leaving her face before she buried her face into his chest. She sighed contently at the silence as Bakugou’s hand started gently rubbing her back.

“Aww look at Y/n and Bakugou!” A voice suddenly exclaimed excitedly. Y/n and Bakugou both gasped as they pulled away from each other at the speed of light, an embarrassed blush evident on both of their faces.

“Where the fuck did you dipshits come from?!” Bakugou exclaimed angrily as he looked at Uraraka, Midoriya and Todoroki who had entered the room.

“We came back from training.” Todoroki answered.

“Its not our fault you two are acting all lovey-dovey in a place our whole class uses.” Uraraka giggled as the blush on y/n’s face darkened.

“But we didn’t mean to stare or anything! We just walked in and you two-“

“Shut the fuck op Deku!” Bakugou yelled as little sparks emerged from his hands, which made y/n’s eyes widen as she quickly put her hands on his arm.

“A-anyway we’re gonna go... see you all later!” She quickly spoke as she tried pulling the angry blonde with her, quietly giggling at his flustered state. It was quite amusing to see him like that.

“YOU GUYS SAW NOTHING!” Bakugou yelled once more before finally giving in and coming with his girlfriend.

“Jeez babe, are you embarrased of me or something?” Y/n fake pouted to which he just rolled his eyes. He knew that she was just messing around.

RANDOM THOUGHTS

Okay, so lemme explain this drawing. Yes, it’s kpop au. The end. Lol jk. My imagination is wild when I tell y’all!

So like I’ve had this day dream thang going on for YEARS it could totally be a fanfic but idk how to write lol (besides a story I wrote in Wattpad a few years ago... *shivers*). So here’s how it goes:

This group is called Kunoichi consisting of Ino, Hinata and Tenten. They’re from Konoha Ent. The reason Sakura is not in this group is because there was a former member (some random character) who had some influence and got into the group instead

So Tenten is a SET member since she’s been training for years. Sakura and Ino were in a survival competition with other girls but only Ino made it. Sakura was then put into another survival comp where Hinata makes it and then ANOTHER where that random girl makes it. Each and every single time Sakura makes it into the semi-finals but doesn’t make it. I guess the person in charge of this survival comp thought she’d stick around but nahs she has other dreams so she goes study abroad and be a doctor/surgeon instead. She hasn’t kept in contact with Ino for a few years after that since both couldn’t get ahold of each other due to Ino’s strict schedules

Some years later, Sakura comes back and she works in a hospital. Some child isn’t feeling well and asks Sakura to sing and someone films it and it goes VIRAL (I swear this isn’t as cringey in my head). Some people reach out to her but she’s not really interested and yeah...

ok so i’m going to cheat a little and have some combined houses bc i think only one house can’t be enough to confine some of the members

Aron - Aron is a Gryffinpuff(?)/Huffledor(?) lol I don’t know what to call it

• he’s actually quite intelligent; he performed well in school and achieved a 2200 on his SAT (for reference, a 2400 is the full score and the Ivy League avg. is about 2150ish for the old SAT) 

• during the Pledis auditions, he ranked first out of all the trainees who auditioned

• he learned the entirety of the Korean language in under a year

• he speaks 3 languages: english, japanese, and korean

BuT (why he’s a gryffindor too)

• he can be brash and say things without thinking first, which has gotten him into trouble multiple times

• He perspective towards life seems to be to dive headfirst into things, without looking back

• he rejected his admission to NYU/rejected his academic future path to fully and completely pursue kpop (if this isn’t the definition of “taking the leap”, I don’t know what is)

• he won’t really censor his thoughts and is frank and stubborn, which can both be good and bad

Ren (Minki/Mingi) - slytherpuff(?)

Slytherin gets a lot of hate for being the “evil” house, but that’s not how it is–the house itself is one of the most loyal and unified, with traits just as impressive as those of Gryffindor

• Ren oozes self confidence and is one of the few androgynous well known kpop stars–when he was been attacked for his “effeminate” image by a rude interviewer, he coolly, elegantly put him down, without a crack in his facade. He doesn’t flinch at insults to his appearance and instead hides his pain and buries it

• as you could see on PD101, ren is extra as hell; he knows how to draw attention for his benefit

• slytherins can tend to come off as a bit arrogant or prideful, and Ren definitely knows how gorgeous he is (there are an infinite amount of times where he’s complimented his own looks, lol, he even did it on PD101)

• slytherins are extremely loyal to their own, and Ren is extraordinarily loyal to his group 

i giffed this a while back, but this was his reaction when he heard one of his labelmates dropped from top 11 (at the time he was the only one of NU’EST who wasn’t ranked within top 11)

• he’s been described as the most playful and mischievious, but he rarely laughs

• but Ren is a hufflepuff too, despite his seemingly cold exterior

• he is the maknae of the group, and if you have been Nu’est’s fan for a bit, you know the rest of the group spoil him and love him to death; he probably has the most skinship with the other members because they love him so much

• he is extremely selfless~ never once did he complain about being ranked lower than his fellow members, he was only happy they had made it so far

• he treats his fans like angels–there was a brother of a fan who ran into him at a cafe he goes to regularly and he remembered his name and greeted him every time they bumped into one another at the cafe from then on out

• he used to respond to private messages from fans and would comfort them through difficulties

• according to the other members, he complains the least

• he’s very tolerant of everyone and has encouraged fanboys to approach him as well, and he would be willing to hug them

JR (Jonghyun) - ravenpuff(?) huffleclaw(?)

hufflepuff gets a lot of shit for being the “useless” house but there is nothing to be ashamed of if you are a hufflepuff

• nation’s leader, onibugi, is selfless almost to a fault

• he was the leader of Nu’est since he was 16(1!6!) an takes the failure of Nu’est onto himself; he always has carried the entire burden of the group on his shoulders

• in literally every group performance he was in, he was the leader and he stiLL nEVER gave himself more than a few lines (pun intended, but this was still so upsetting)

• he always puts the other group members before himself and looks over him as if he is their older brother, despite being younger than some of them. (look at the disappointment on his face when he saw Minhyun walk into D rank and Dongho when he forgot the lyrics during the grade reevaluation)

• he’s really friendly, despite being very introverted

• in fact, despite his natural introvertedness, he tries his best to push himself out of his own comfort zone so he can be warm to others and he has devised several ways for him to seem more extroverted (how selfless is this holy fuck)

• he’s also a ravenclaw, though

• he is a very capable leader who tries his best to avoid conflict by sorting the situation out

•ex. he could’ve been argumentative with Kwon Hyunbin when he wasn’t being an exemplary member and wasn’t pulling his weight, but he instead just talked some sense into him by mediating

• when he is quiet, it seems he is more analyzing and sorting out every situation silently. he seems to be a bit calculating so that he can approach problems more effectively.

• he is very driven and will push himself past boundaries–he was the only nu’est member who went up in grade reevaluations, going to rank B 

• despite his position as leader and rapper, he can also dance very well and he does so passionately

Baekho (Dongho) - Gryffinpuff (i know this is an oxymoron, but hear me out)

• he looks like a formidable, scary, guy, but he is actually the softest human being ever. 

• he is always laughing, and the other members have said that if baekho isn’t laughing, there is something wrong (literally during the meringue time he just laughed the entire time even though he was just beating eggs)

Minhyun (CEO/Emperor Hwang) - ravenpuff

• Minhyun got the title CEO Hwang for good reason, he was able to form an incredibly strong team from only short analysis after spending some time with them and he found very strong team dynamics within the people he chose; he knew what he was doing when he chose the Justice League team

• Minhyun is supposedly the most intelligent of the members of Nu’est (even though he can’t type for shit)

• he is incredibly dedicated to his “studies”; though not necessarily academic, he will put his all into learning and  applying himself and has been called the most applied of the nu’est members

• he worked incredibly hard in preparation for the grade eval according to the other trainees and hence was most expected to rise in grade; however, he failed the reevaluation because of sheer exhaustion 

• when asked why he likes Minhyun so much, Seonho replied that “minhyun-hyung gives very good, practical advice”

• it may not be shown often, but I expect Minhyun is very intelligent (aside from the evaluation of group dynaimcs that formed the sorry, sorry team, he has shown that he can adapt successfully to several different concepts and master difficult dances even though he is a vocalist, and he dedicates his all to what he does)

• ravenclaws overlap with hufflepuff in their tendency to avoid all conflict, and this is very evident in Minhyun

• he consistently would check on the other members of his team, not wanting to overstep any boundaries or make anyone uncomfortable, and he was a key part in the harmony of each group

• despite being regarded as the “face” of the group along with Minki, he is still very humble and doesn’t talk much about his visuals

• he’s the motherly figure of the group, always nagging them to pick up after themselves and keeps their dorm relatively neat and orderly (how messy is their dorm gonna be for the next 1.5 years those hoes better keep it clean for him)

• he apparently always has body lotion in his bag, for both him and others to use (how considerate is this I’m gonna cry)

• he is allergic to salt and will react to his own sweat, but he bears through it to train and pursue his dream, proving his will and determination

SM cloning their artists

 Ever wondered kung bakit magkakamukha si Mark ng NCT Dream, Mark ng NCT U, Mark ng NCT 127, Mark ng SuperM, at Mark ng WayV? Wherein NCT stands for New Cloning Technology?

De joke lang. Pero who knows? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

So yeah. Isa na siguro ito sa mga paborito kong conspiracy theories sa kpop at talagang nagulat ako nung nalaman ko ito. Though at first I find it funny but it's kinda interesting. Magbasa kayong mabuti. Talagang interesting ito (well, for me. idk for u but yeah)

Here are some of SM artists na magkakaloka-like

"SM clones their artists because they already know that their visuals are liked by the public. So SM just clones them instead of finding new people with different visuals because it would be too risky."  — (Midnight Theories)

What if Lee Sooman thought it was best to clone older artists in memory of their work and be "reborn" while also having it be an easier way to keep up with NCT's concept which is an unlimited number of members. It was probably a much easier way to get a fresh batch of artists by cloning them rather than spending months scouting for the perfect future idols. Also, big industries go to great extents to earn more money. By cloning past artists, new fans of newer groups may actually take interest in older groups solely because they look like their favs which means more views ->>> popularity ->>> economic prosperity ->>> power for all -haechansexy (twitter)

This might be funny but it can also make sense like we're living in a sci-fi world. Technology is evolving from time to time. I kinda agree with these one. Less hassle nga naman kung clone na lang nang clone kesa mag-train pa ng mga trainees for years. It's business. Kailangang kumita asap. And as of the background profiles of each "clones/idols", they're rich so ang dali lang gumawa ng fake persona and backgrounds. In fact there's another theory about a certains idols who fake their age para maka-debut agad. I might tackle it here next time.
