SO FIRST THINGS FIRST! what i do is take notice of the general shape of the body hair (usually the chest/tummy/etc) CUZ there is kind of a pattern goin on like the triangular-ish or rectangle-ish shape at the chest, funny line going down the belly, and usually there is more hair around that area going down to the pelvic reigon of the body (btw...the funny line of hair that starts at under the bellybutton is called a "happy trail" :) and its one of my fav things in the world to draw)

SO what is the next step? SIMPLIFY! this works perfectly since u have a more cartoony style (me too 🤝 i get it)

i just try to follow that pattern of body hair whenever i draw it, and for the hair itself i keep it to simple lines or squiggles! AND theres a little bonus one that i don't do enough tbh (the big fluffy...its really good...)

and ofc if ur drawing bodies w little body hair u dont really have to follow the pattern too much, just vaguely LOL

AND FOR backs and legs its pretty much just the same process, except that from what ive seen back hair is a bit more extreme anddd for the legs just do the fast line stroke or squiggle thang ( btw im not the best at drawing backs and uhh i rlly didnt feel like putting effort into the leg so KJSHDFS)

Like ever?Like my five favorite fics of ever? oh boy ok lemme pull up the list

Well immediately I Bit Him so He's Mine is coming to the top of the list which isn't even done yet but is sitting rn at around 40k, is my longest project ever and officially novel length. Between the writing a murder mystery, writing a low fantasy adventure, the gothic/fairytail romance, the hyde wednesday/hyde tyler scenes, the subplots, and the fact that I'm not able nor do i want to rely on psychic visions for information, this is the most involved and exciting project I've probably ever done. Before Wednesday, I hadn't really sat down and written a proper drawn out mystery plot and this is the first where there were no psychic visions either. It's also officially longer than my Absolution novella which is not on this list just because that fic was one of the first I ever wrote and it shows. (though it is special to me because of that)

2. I'll add Wandering in the Dark because it was born of a prompt that my hs senior english teacher gave the class for a project that'd been anticipated (or dreaded depending on who you were) all semester. Basically, we all got to draw a disease (chronic I believe or at least mine was) out of a hat and then just do whatever we wanted writing a story with it. He gave me complete creative freedom. I wrote steter fanfiction which is also why it reads for someone who isn't familiar with teen wolf. I got an A.

3. My Lost Soul (Lead Me to Redemption) was my baby for a long time. It was one of the first pieces I ever wrote in a creative writing class which I then rewrote as sterek fanficiton and evolved into a whole series with Derek, Stiles, and Peter becoming the Hale Pack again. My writing style and quality drastically changes from beginning to end and there's something special about getting to see that firsthand reading this series. I'm sure it would only have continued if I hadn't lost steam for the story.

4. This is not a fair game. I'm not even left my teen wolf list yet.

4. I suppose I'll put Have You Seen Me? because idk I just like it. I like it a lot. I like exploring Tyler immediately after the cave. I like the title and the way the summary is just Tyler's wanted poster. I like how it leads into Wednesday going to Nevermore and I like how they interact with each other and Tyler being an Addams

5. Hold Me Close and it's sister fic Pin Me Down (to be posted) will have to take place as well. I'm counting both because I love them for the same reason. I've been writing officially since 2016 and for at least as long I always knew that I would eventually write my own fuck or die/sex pollen fic and that I'd take the approach of approaching the potential trauma and very present vulnerability present in the premise. Plus, the sex marathon aspect was a good writing challenge to stretch out the sex scene long enough to actually feel like a marathon reading it. Hold Me Close's sex scene was around 3000 words. Pin Me Down's sex scene is 3455 words long.

Honorable mentions for an abandoned multi-chap from high school that I hadn't thought about for years solely because I recently went to a convention where I met a lot of local authors and talked their ears off about writing and the genres we do and our current projects (and I had plenty due to wyler week and the bingo) and this one author recognized my ao3 alias and loved the fic in question. Mark Me an Angel for the hannigram fandom which also is a good example of why you plan a basic plot/direction when you start something.

I’m not used to disagreeing with you bc I usually don’t but the Charles post, woof! Maybe it’s bc I’m not a Charles fan but I am definitely a fan of max. Is it fair to consider you a chirlie at this point? 😂 as a person who prefers Carlos just overall (we exist I know) and how close this season was, just, I know Charles is stamped with the whole predestined thing and his fans like to say Ferrari don’t deserve him just as much as they like to celebrate this whole destiny brand but this season it was very close between Charles and Carlos? They basically traded off being the one more comfortable with a better weekend and close in points as well. It’s just grating to see him written of as like “mid”; when he actually is a very strong driver, good defensive driver maybe sometimes considered too tough by some but I have fun watching him. But everyone’s of course entitled to their own opinions and to like and dislike whoever. I guess it’s the Carlos and Checo comparisons that especially tend to make me go 🤨 bc maybe if you’re looking at Charles and max as being the “special boys” and the “other one” will always be just that. But the Ferrari drivers were closer this season compared to last year and Checo has just been further and further from max so performance wise to compare them… idk if I think it’s too generous to Charles or too unfair to Carlos (sorry Checo I guess). UMMMM FOR MOVIESSS... my favorite since it came out is loving vincent. and probably will always be. i was SO EXCITED when it ran on tv and i was just so.. bewitched. each frame was lovingly painted by hand and it includes various paintings by van gogh. :) what you're seeing is entirely made with oil paint, using van goghs techniques, and it's just the most beautiful thing i've ever seen. other movies i love are: rusalochka (1968), bram stokers dracula (1992) & pulp fiction! and again anything with winona ryder I ADOOOOOOORE HER and if it has her in it i will probably give it a chance. except stranger things. nope. i'm sorry i seriously can't

my favorite books is honestly between the original frankenstein and the murders in the rue morgue. and i also started reading bram stokers dracula and i have to say i dont like the flow of the book As Much as i like the movie. i also enjoy anything by edgar allan poe a normal amount and i take a lot of inspo from his poems. i also super super gravitate to folk ballads/stories from which i also take inspiration for my art :) annnnnd i also like reading manga sometimes still and what i remember loving was innocent rouge, the red fog; and i also started goodnight punpun! which has been an experience so far

Since I'm very not okay about durgetash and have an unholy obsession with tassles (they're not only fun to play with, they are also just pretty.) lemme dive further into that idea, if I already deliver the delulu I might as well expand on it and share my tassle knowledge. Also because I'm now positively obsessed with the idea.

So where I'm from, we still have shooting clubs. They come with uniforms, medals, etc etc. There's no actual hierarchy or smth, but we do have tassles. In our case, you get them for specific achievements and for being a member for a while. For example, for 5, 10, 20 years, etc. They're tied to a shash that is fixed to the front of the uniforms jacket on the right side. That way, you can immediately spot how long someone has been a member and what they may have already done for the club, or in other words, how respecyful especially you should be. They're awarded yearly at a big celebration where all sorts of awards are handed out and the years most skilled archer is crowned king/queen. Funnily enough though, being a king or queen won't get you a tassle, only a plate to be fixed to ur house and a medal on the necklace that is passed down from each "sovereign" to the next one in the following year. The honour of a tassle goes beyond simply being the best archer (side note, this explains so much about my culture).

But since I can't be normal about anything, there's other fun instances where tassles are used, here's a few I could find easily and or remember cuz I like them:

In the Hebrew bible, they're a sign of holiness and used by the faithful to remember their commandments.

In the Middle East, they function as talismans, especially to protect children from malevolent spirits and to ward off demons.

Meanwhile, in China, they're symbols of auspiciousness, wealth, and good luck, where as in Japan, they're closely tied to specific shinto gods.

In general, tassles are often used as decoration for clothing but also for talismans and the likes, and they're usually tied to things such as remembrance, honour, luck, protection, I could go on for days. Tassles are pretty much universally seen as a symbol of something inherently good. And they're pretty, and you can make them from any string so they're widely accessible. The rich can use em but so can the less fortunate ones.

In regards to the hairpin; I love the idea that he just stowed it away in a safe place but takes it out regularly to fidget with it for a plethora of reasons. It's just perfection, and I can't add further to it.

Also, my fav oc to ship with the racoon man has a sort of necklace with bronze tassles because I love tassles and mirroring small details in designs. And torturing myself by drawing tassles. Bonus points because a demigod of murder just sat down for hours, crafting little intricate tassles, perhaps even to redeem himself for doing something unhinged that drove Gortash mad. This may have just become a plotline. It became a plotline. Fuck.

Durge is no smith, he probably tried for the shits and giggles once but he's just really not cut out for that. What he can do however is sew. He knows how to stitch up wounds and all, Needlework is his thing. Those tassles on Gorty's belt? Guess where he got them. Maybe even the twirled string that keeps the dragon insignia in place. It's small, but the person that crafted them must've undoubtedly been very careful in doing so. The tassles are even red. The one color both Bhaalists and Banites have in common. Also passion, love, blood, yada yada

Also for the sake of fall back, Durge got some money cuz assasin business be booming (and theft) so Gortash now has long hair before he begins his shonen MC haircut arc and Durge fr fr got him a hair pin.

OH THIS LOOKS SICK... I love the almost body-horrorish rose coming out of her eye, it adds a lot of uniqueness to her design! The colours are also just so lovely, with the soft reds and pinks. She definitely gives off 'cute but will kill you' vibes, I love it. 10/10 would let her murder me

Puffy-

SWIRLS! Oh i love the hair in this one, the rainbow is beautiful! Also you just. Draw pirate outfits SO WELL. Like hot damn. Lemme save this to my art references real quick. Also i know I mention the colours a lot but the dusky red-pink? Stunning. She looks so confident too! 10/10 would also let her murder me (I'm a simple woman okay)

Purpled-

ALIEN BOY! Oooo I love the little star halo so much, it looks so pretty and really adds to his design. Also, light up sketchers... your boy be stylin. 10/10 looks like he'd tell me arcane secrets behind a servo, drink an entire grape fanta, then lift into the air slowly while the X-files theme plays and disappear. He also kinda looks like he's absolutely blasted on somethin but i don't know what. Love he.

Ponk-

Ohhhh i love this one too! I love the stripes on his doctors coat, they bring his design together so well. And the little details? Superb. I swear to god you just keep knocking me away with how much thought you put into your character designs. His little cat patch... and the potion... and his little mushroom..! The idea of a Nether-themed Ponk is so cool... art inspo time OwO? 10/10 i would trust him to give me heart surgery (he's already stolen it <3)

Callahan-

Yooo! I dont often see unique designs/ideas for callahan, but this is so cool. The idea of Callahan just being like... a casual god is so funny. Like he's got complete power over the servers code but he's doing it on monster, doritos, and spite. The hoverboard is also rad. 10/10 probably gets chip crumbs in the DSMP code

Alyssa-

Another character i don't see much of, but I love what you've done with her! You are so right, the outfits looks super cool, and I love the trenchcoat. 10/10 kinda gives me anime character vibes? But like in the 'secondary character that everyone likes more than the protag vibes.' Silent badass.

Hbomb-

You have truly done him justice... The blues and the beiges complement so well, and his outfit in general is just so cute. And his cat shoes..! He's even got a little heart in his tail, that's adorable. 10/10 I would kill and die for him. I love him so much.

Foolish-

Kronk vibes, definitely. And sableeye is one of my fav pokemon so seeing a design partially inspired by him was like :o! Himbo rights, and i love his shark cloak, its so cute. 10/10 Would also kill and die for him. I am officially part of the Hbomb and Foolish protection gang. (Of one)
