Day 1: Legs and Cardio (wk1M)
I am tiiirrreeedddd! The leg workout itself was really tough because my back is so sore and half way through my knees, which have been giving me some grief all winter, started aching. So I cut my set workout in half and moved on to do some yoga, foam rolling and stretching. I’ve only used my foam roller once before and was somewhat unsure of how to use it so I followed along with some YouTube videos. I must say I am a fan, like a big fan! My lower back is feeling at least 50% better and overall my muscles feel somewhat rejuvenated. I am hoping that I begin to see a difference in cellulite and muscle tone after doing foam rolling for a while. I followed all of this with a good long walk in the park with my Mum and three pups. It is incredibly warm and sunny today so we took advantage of that, I am definitely ready for spring to start making an appearance! 
As well as working out I am trying hard to watch my food intake, cutting back on carbs and amping up the protein and vegetables. I became a vegetarian back in November and I definitely haven’t been eating a proper diet since then so I am finding it challenging to actually eat properly now. Cravings are a constant problem with me so I rely on the people around me to help me stay on track, however I am on my own for the evening so we will see how long my willpower can hold out against snacking on the couch watching tv.....
Overall I feel pretty good after my first day, hopefully tomorrow I can get through my whole workout. I believe tomorrow is Arm and Abs day, which makes me happy because those are my absolute favourite!!!!
