Oh, crap. Considering that in the Season 2 trailer, the Never Witch messes with everyone's memories in order to make the "Bizzaro versions" of everyone, in addition to that scene where they're in the murky realm in the back half of Season 1, tells me that she's doomed!

Hey so I just realized something about Izzie’s Dream Forge trial and now I’m sad.

So, for Izzie’s trial, she saw a giant claw machine trying to take away Mr. Sharkyjaw, right? So a pretty superficial fear for the forge to pry on, but nothing too out of the ordinary for a kid Izzie’s age, right?

Well, that wasn’t the actual fear the forge was counting on to get Izzie to wake up.

We learn in a later episode that Mr. Sharkyjaw was a gift from her and Mateo’s mom before she passed, right? And that Izzie still hasn’t taken her last baby tooth out of the plush because of her grief.

The claw machine wasn’t just a claw machine. It was symbolic of Izzie’s true worst fear: losing the memory of her mom.

Okay I need to talk about the fact that Cooper's lost memory… broke.

Like it just... broke.

And its not just a memory of something. It's like all his mech/tech/engineering skills??? Is it gone for good? Like, I don't have this kid's hands on skills, but my day job is a mechanical engineer and... this just hit me right in the soul. You can see he's devastated, but then he downplays it because he doesn't want to upset Izzie.

I do like that he ends up thinking outside the box with the creme brulie (? whatever the heck this was I don't know the point is its got good dampening properties). So maybe this will force him to think up some solutions to things outside his normal mech skills, which is actually a good thing. But I do feel like he needs to get his skills/memory back (and integrate whatever thinking outside the box stuff he learns), or at least be able to re-learn them, like, this is important to me.

I mean, probably some of being so good at it is because he's got all the family pressure to preform, but he also does seem to genuinely enjoy tinkering with things. So this would definitely suck.

DREAMZzz season 2 is out. And I watched the first ten episodes out on Netflix. I'm not going to write a long speech about it containing spoilers because it wouldn't make sense if I did it and a lot of people already made them.

But...

I did doodle a few things during my second time watching it (I'm on my third run now)

OMG THE WRITERS COOKED WITH THIS LINE🔥‼️ I’m not a wheelchair user but I do have a do have a disability that impacts how people treat and view me. I feel like I have to overcompensate to be on the same level as everyone else. For what other people do easily, I have to put in a lot of energy to achieve the same result. It’s isolating and tiring.

Having Astrid express her feelings like this feels so validating. I was at first nervous about her inclusion in the main cast (worried about her character development and love story with Logan) but she is turning out to be one of my favorites 🇩🇪 ♿️🩵!
