it took eight million years to get everything from this taobao order correct + shipped to my house bc of some issues with bhiner but it was def worth the wait :) the overalls are from little dream girl on taobao (though i think i found their normal website when i googled the name but i can't tell if it's legit :v ) and they're so cool! the color and drape are perfect <3

all of the shoes that i ordered are like. massive. which was surprising to me since when i've ordered shoes from some of the same shops on taobao they've been too small? fortunately jaellis has giant feet so she can wear them lol.

he turned out a little bit more boyish/sweet than i had intended for his character but he's so cute that i kind of want to keep him this way haha- taking off the little sprout clip and astronaut pin would probably make him less cutesy but i feel compelled to somehow have visual references to his origin (beloved cringe among us oc).

it's literally just the English word "tech" thrown through the Japanese way syllables are pronounced, it's not a direct translation into a kanji term like Nishi, Waru and Yasei are

I did some mild poking around and get this-their word for "electronic" is "Denshi", which you could use to reinforce the twin dynamic because they both end in -shi

Yeah, I had a feeling that their names weren't exactly accurate as I legit just shoved words into a translate app that wasn't Google Translate lol.

It was also like 8 years ago when I did this so I'm not super shocked they're incorrect.

Regardless, I am quite grateful you took the time to do a little digging to find a replacement name that still made sense and had extra little matching things!

Although I probably won't change Tekku's name as it holds more sentimental value at this point, I won't let the name "Denshi" go to waste as I kinda do like the matching endings.

I'll probably use it as a name Nashi used to use to get Tekku's attention for annoyance reasons when they were young but stopped after his eye incident in the Turtle Tots timeline.

and I haven't really been able to find anything further on either one of these incidents? she doesn't seem to be a huge mclennon shipper, so I don't know that she's necessarily making it up, but she seems to be someone who frequented a lot of earlier internet forums. so either a) her source is Legit but lost to time, b) her source was a mclennon fan making shit up for fun & she didn't realize that, or c) she mixed up Several sources from Several forums through a sort of game of telephone

Every once in a while I'll sit down with mates and we'll watch something with a vague socialist ideal behind it. We don't search out specific media, but sometimes an actor just walks up to the 4th wall and starts talking like a Ted X talk. Simple shit like; "Maybe we shouldn't let everyone starve in these countries when food overproduction is a legit thing." "maybe killing the homeless is not a good idea?" or "just try to be nice and don't tell people who are doing something harmless that you don't enjoy to kill themselves." And I half zone out on these messages because I already learned these like 20 years ago and I don't need a refresher for something I already uphold. I have that sometimes. If you try to explain something I've had in my belief system for like 25 years and you talk to me like a child, I zone out. I'm not gonna stop ya because I know some peeps need to hear basic shit, but goddamn. Which really puts me in such a weird spot when the neo-libertarian conservative next to me has his world view shattered about addicts not just being addicted for the sheer fun of it or something. I just have difficulty trying to explain some of these basic human rights things to people of the same age group sometimes. So the original oneshot Wreck Me, was a random drabble I thought of while watching a comedy of all things. The scene with the security guard that wanted to laugh at Daniel (after his awkward rambling introduction) when he called up to the exec suite, only to hear to 'send him up' is what started it all!! I legit just wrote a drabble about that scene, then I think I got an ask/comment to continue it and idk where it came from (@rizzstappen is so gonna tease me about this lmao), I wrote the angstiest one shot I've ever written. I didn't know what else to do with it so I posted it and people got *mad* lmao

She denies this, but Emi challenged me to 'fix it' so we chat ficced a pseudo outline. And I thought that would be that- case closed! but then my brain wouldn't let it go!

And then I started writing it all. It was supposed to 100% Max's POV and I was maybe like 20k words deep when my brain went '...we should write Daniel's POV....but of different times in the timeline'. And I was truly worried it was going to be a bit confusing, because I wrote it in like 5 different gdocs

(it took me 2 days and MORE gdocs to decide on the 'correct' order. I wanted it to be perfect and not confusing and I may have cried about it a little lmao)

I knew I wanted it to be kinda angsty, but I didn't realize it would be so angsty. but then I didn't truly give myself an option because I gave them maybe one of the most fucked up break up reasons ever. Truly a fun time worldbuilding, because I had to truly figure out what brought them to Wreck Me before I could bring them along the 2wrecked2furious journey.

But truly it was that or a spy-esque 'I did it to protect you' reason and I'm kinda happy I didn't go down that road.

The memories came at the end and there weren't supposed to be as many as they were lol.

Overall, I have 35 google docs in a folder because I wrote everything so sporadically. the ONLY scenes that were written canonically were the first 3 Max POV scenes and the first 3 Daniel POV scenes. Everything else was a 'open a new doc to write this down and figure it out later' vibe.

Also, another fun fact that only Isabel knows, I don't listen to music when I write, I can't like focus. But for some reason when I had started writing Daniel's POV I kept replaying folklore, and Exile is very Reclamation Daniel coded.

Sorry for wip dumping Anon lmao. Oh! I combed the dictionary for a name because I knew I wanted it to be one word. I'm terrible at naming my fics so i took this soooo seriously. Apparently the transcriptions are done differently than whomever submits, like, the voice work, i think it might actually be auto generated, and I have been noticing for a while now that all of the stories are transcribed basically only half correct. There is, um, HORRIBLE PUNCTUATION? You'll literally have a paragraph that instantly transitions from speech, to whom is speaking, to back to speech with not a single " mark)

There are actually two different people speaking in this highlighted portion ("Aaron, I-" is Natasha, being cut off as her wolf continues). awful grammar and accessibility. Also pretty sure her wolf's name is Erin but whatever

-you know how before I said I wished Natasha would speak up about Mateo not deserving her? She did say after the Mateo ass beating that she accepted his rejection because she didn't want him and also legit spits on his face albeit it causes a misunderstanding. Natasha goes from Aiden to Mateo who is wounded on the ground and Aiden loses his temper thinking she's comforting and going back to him and he picks her up and puts her kicking and screaming in his car, but it turned out she had spit on his face and was about to tell him to go fuck himself before she planned to go willingly

-as someone who doesn't know a lot about African culture, I really like the level of representation in this story, and also of just POC in general, like for example Natasha meets Aiden's mother who serves her staple African foods that she hasn't gotten to eat since her parents died like kubewa and tuwon alkama (WHICH I HAD TO GOOGLE AFTER HEARING BY EAR BECAUSE THE HORRIBLE TRANSCRIPTI0NS DIDNT EVEN SPELL THEM RIGHT) and also talking about her traditional clothing, her ankara and bobo gown, and I had to, again, look it up by ear, but Natasha greets Mama with "Ina quanah" which is Hausa for "good morning"

- Natasha knowing Hausa turns out to be incredibly important. Her mother is from the same tribe as Aiden's mother which means Natasha is not the full blood of her wolf pack, the Malakarians (I think that's how it's spelled, the subtitles literally say "the Koreans" 🤦‍♀️). The reason this is good is apparently, Natasha's pack has some dark myth surrounding it that literally everyone else but them knows and apparently in the past there was some huge issue when a Malakarian mated with a Lycan? Like Aidens father instantly orders him to reject her?

-Aiden deadass says he will give up the throne before he gives up Natasha. Oh my god we must protect these two.

-you know how I said when I heard the love interests name was Aiden and I expected him to be white. Well, Aiden is actually his middle name that he uses to uh, im assuming combat racism and colorism unfortunately. His true first name is Amari but he prefers Aiden apparently? Like it's very casually glossed over that his name isn't actually Aiden, his mom briefly refers to him by his full name and Natasha does not react

-I was a little harsh on Natasha in my last post, she very obviously has been deeply affected by the years of abuse and trauma. She's the kind of person who will smile in your face and say "why would I be mad, as a lowly omega isn't it your right to XYZ to me" even if she's burning with rage inside, being submissive to avoid pain. Aiden is having to be insanely patient with her and even her wolf has to kind of mediate. I was also wrong on her wolf too. You wanna know why her wolf barely ever spoke to her? Her wolf wanted to protect her and just poured all her energy into healing her wounds and since Natasha was just constantly hurt and abused and even self harmed, Erin/Aaron could barely speak, and she was also just insanely hella depressed before Aiden came around and she gave herself a pep talk

-dude someone's been on some fuckery and I'm pretty sure it's either Mateo or, you know what actually, I bet it's Aiden's mom (who even tells Natasha to call her Mama). Know why? Natasha randomly goes into heat without being marked or anything, and Aiden is just "this is actually really not normal, someone literally had to induce this, you should not be in heat" and like. It's actually so hella uncomfortable. She is literally in physical pain, and eventually kinda flirty and delirious and is acting a complete 180 different for being horny (which tbh is kinda how i see heats in ABO but, another time lol). Like one minute she is literally crying saying she's in pain and begging him to touch her and the next she's "if I sit here obediently like you asked me to, what's my reward ;3" But as the green flag king he is, Aiden stands his ground "no this isn't right, you aren't in your right mind, you can't consent, someone did this to you" and like, he BRIEFLY touches "her button" as they call it but he stops and he only did it cause she was, you know, howling in pain. 3. I think the fandoms I've wrote for the most so far is the MHA / BNHA fandom and Pokemon? I had an ultra-long Pokemon/Naruto crossover fic I wrote when I was like 14 that was like 50-ish chapters long and yet somehow still unfinished lmao. I still have that shit but I reuploaded it to Google Docs to make sure I never lost it, even if some of it makes me cringe now lmao

4. Forbidden love is a vibe I really dig ngl. Esp like.. older x younger type vibes where the younger person just like... absolutely lights up the older persons gloomy heart and makes them feel young again in a good way. I've also been really into soulmates type stuff lately. Also stuff with like A/B/O vibes but like I kinda cherry pick that stuff and rework it a bit for my own personal writing vibes.

5. I have a legit wasteland of barely started / half finished fics. I have only finished one and I have no idea how I managed to get the self-control to only make it 4 pages long ngl lmao. I really wanna go back and rewrite a few older fics but that's a lot of time and energy for someone like me (ADHD/Autism brain that hates doing something that feels unfulfilling in the moment lmao). Someday I hope to finish something longer though.

6. Honestly it's more an entire section lmao. The entire plot point was that my oc Riley was trying to ask probing questions in regard to my friends oc I wrote into the story, named Iseiah, who was in love with this character named Zisu and because of how Riley asked Zisu mistook it for Riley asking her out and any time Riley would attempt to interject Zisu would cut her off so the next day at lunch they're all sitting at the table and Zisu slips that Riley 'asked her out' and Iseiah loses his shit because he had just told Riley how he had feelins for Zisu. In his anger he didn't give Riley much of a chance to explain but accidentally let it slip that he was in love with Zisu. In that particular scene he says a lot of shit but my absolute fave line was “OH I SEE HOW IT IS, I TELL YOU I’M IN LOVE WITH HER AND YOU FUCKING STEAL HER, RIGHT UNDER MY NOSE! YOU RUG PULLING BITCH! I’VE BEEN WAITING YEARS TO ASK THIS GIRL OUT, BUT LO AND BEHOLD, LIL MISS AMNESIA FALLEN FROM THE SKY DECIDES SHES GONNA STEAL MY FUCKING GIRL!" and honestly I frequently quote "You rug-pulling bitch!" lmaoo. Best part was that Zisu is built like a bodyguard and legit took him down and pinned him to keep him from causing a scene lol. Just genuinely one of my absolute fave scenes because of the rollercoaster of shit in it.

7. I don't even think I have the file anymore but the line was "If nothing is real and nothing matters... then why not enjoy it? Allow yourself to live the way you want to for once. With no regrets. Not everyone has that chance. Take it and make this life, however fake it may be, a life worth living." - The fic was from a fucking Justice League / Batman fic of all things lmao

I enjoyed this episode so much. I am so excited to see where this show goes. So excited. I had such a good time with this episode. Here are my real time thoughts.

The handler for the kiwi asked everyone (it was a small group of about 10 people at a time allowed to see the kiwi) where they were from and when we said NZ she got excited lol. Then she invited us to stay after the demonstration was over (only us) and we got to see the kiwi properly up close and stroke it! It was so cool, they're really soft and super cute. The kiwi was all interested in the bracelets I was wearing and was nudging them with it's beak xD It was a really unique experience and not one many people can say they've done, cos the handler said that she doesn't invite many people to stay and meet the kiwi haha. When was the last time you read a whole book, to the last page exactly? Im doing that today. my last one has been since like november which is wild. ive just been so busy.
