as far as I'm concerned Pengriddler has been canonized in these last few episodes like the writing has never been sloppier but also the subtext has never been thicker. congrats to noted homosexuals Robin Lord Taylor and Cory Michael Smith, you guys won in the end

I am still holding steadfast to my theory that the writers hated Cory Michael Smith though it feels like once they resolved his mind control storyline they simply didn't care enough to wrap anything up for the Riddler so now he just runs around acting married to the Penguin

the thing is that this is the BIGGEST threat Gotham (the show and the city) has ever had but this doesn't really feel like a climax like there's no particular resolution to this story this feels as slap dash as every other season finale and most of the characters are going nowhere fast

Charlie Fashion Tournament: Finals!

In the end, we came down to what are pretty much objectively the correct answers for the top 2 Charlie outfits. Now let's see who wins!

From the iconic Charlie episode Legends of To-Meow-Meow (plus the end of Hell No, Dolly) comes the outfit Charlie wears across time and space as she breaks and unbreaks the timeline. Already fabulously accessorized, but would also look good with a cat backpack.

From a season later in Ship Broken, Charlie's rocking the best hair ever while trying to use the Loom of Fate, trying to flush the Loom of Fate, and standing as close to Zari as physically possible.

Either way, plaid wins!

ok ngl i kind of hated the idea of Sara getting powers at first. i thought she was already amazing as just her, an assassin, and i thought that powers would somehow change her and her image. she’s supposed to be the one with no enhancements or abilites that can still match the rest of the team and i thought her having powers would take away from her general badass-ness (which makes zero sense).

but i love what the legends writers have done with it. she didn’t just get whammied and then BAM amazing powers that had no consequences and she could use immediatley. no, there’s like side-effects and she can’t see right now because of them. it’s gonna mean more plot-development for Sara, something we haven’t seen in awhile, and that’s amazing.

also that scene with Sara and the hellhound just directly contradicts my point about her having powers taking away from her badass-ness. she managed to do THAT while blind. I’ve realized Sara’s strength don’t come from whether or not she has powers. Her strength cannot be subtracted or subdued. She is powerful because of who she is on the inside. I think in the end this storyline is just going to reinforce the idea of how Sara is strong on all fronts, as being blind is defffinitley doing to provide some challenges
