 A bit of speculation for the sports festival. Mostly I just wanted to draw Izuku in a leg brace. Jounouchi is amused and Yuugi just doesn’t want to be there.

I'm still feeling unwell at how Jayce retains some of Viktor's physical traits when coming out of the Hexcore. His eyes, his cane, his legbrace, the butterfly shape his hammer has taken. It really hurts, since Jayce always knows Viktor is going to be apart of him, and struggles to keep himself from shooting Viktor

I personally thing him running from the body he left wasn't something he did without shame, guilt, and more. I think he couldn't bare to look at him anymore, and then forced himself to look outside and then see the remainders of the cult after he heard their hollow screams. I'm like 99% sure we're going to see Jayce suffering from severe guilt next Act, and if not, we'll have it explained why he isn't guilty about killing the Hexcore.

I think he'll always feel guilty about Viktor's second death, though.

Gourmand: Oh that is a great question, I have made many things over the cycles. There was that powerful explosive that one time. ohh or that time I created a sporepuff launcher. There is also the legbrace I made for Five Pebbles. Though I believe that my greatest creation now would be my delicious batfly stew.

Saint: Are you an inventor of sorts and never told me?

Lol you reminded me that I wanted to write up a disability Sonic fic but was told off because of some of the jokes in it.

It was one of those 'Sonic get into an accident while fighting Eggman and his legs get messed up' fic but instead of angsting over it the entire fic, it was about Sonic trying different mobility aids and going the physiotherapy so he can comfortably and confidently fight eggman again. His aids ranged from anything like crutches, legbraces and different types of wheelchairs.

Some of the jokes were Sonic wanting super strong crutches to whack badniks with, Sonic wanting Tails to see if he can make Sonic some rocket braces like Shadows rocket shoes, Sonic wanting to install a snowplough on his wheelchair, Eggman willing to sell Sonic Egg-moblitiy aids, Eggman installing wheelchair accessible in all his bases, Sonic saying that Mario gets to be the face of the Olympics while he gets to be the face of the Paralymics, Sonic getting Tails to push him through a drive thu, Sonic saying that he finally learnt to stand up for himself in physiotherapy, Sonic saying that he could only take 10 steps before his legs gave out but after 6 months of physio he could final take 11.

This fic was sadly taken down because some people were upset by the jokes and repeatedly reported the fic but I might have to rewrite it and post it on AO3 instead of FF net. Maybe I'll do that for next years disability awarness month.

yeah ig i can see how people would be concerned about those types of jokes being offensive but like. if their idea of "good" disability writing is just sonic being sad and angsty then :/.

I think that's part of why AUs that make Sonic disabled don't feel antithetical to his character as a thrill-seeking speed demon. Not in a "oh that's sad but he's not going to let him stop him, how inspiring uwu" kinda way, but like? Of course Sonic would beg Tails to install rocket thrusters on his wheelchair and take the opportunity to crack as many corny jokes as possible. You know that one tumblr post where he's like "wow, Eggman, you're really gonna fight a guy who can't walk? :P" (*proceeds to completely wreck his shit*). that's way more in-character than the dime-a-dozen angst fics.
