02 : Faints several times in a row (comedic) … (@ 16:00 my god, personal space ma dude!) … [flashback] found under the metal at the accident site, piece of metal speared in his side, heart stopped, CPR administered … [present] put in an arm lock (comedic)

03 : (at end) Guang Yan is punched

04 : … continued from previous ep. ... (replay) Punched & knocked out (by Yi Yong), Yi Yong is punched & knocked out (by his mother 😂) … trips & falls … put in an arm lock (comedic)

"Man Proposes, God Disposes" from The Lamb as Effigy by Sprain

Rating: 10/10

starting of my daily series of pretentious ramblings with one of faves. this is the type of song where i listen to it and think "is this it? is music over? have they made the perfect song?" i think i wouldve given at least four of my limbs (because that is all the limbs i am aware of at this point in time. otherwise i wouldve given more) to have seen sprain live before they broke up. the bass in this song and the odd dissonant intervals in the main riff are really what sell this song for me and make it such a great listen. the lyrics will tear you apart. this song kicks off the rest of the album in the most perfect way and sets high expectations for the rest of the album, which is absolutely met in the lamb as effigy. my other two favorites from this album are reiterations and we think so ill of you.

The lines under the bum is an interesting choice. And it is not as though they tossed lines everywhere -- here, I barely notice the added lines above Veronica's shoe in panel 2. Funny thing about the girl in the background, whose sleeves have been cut off and now fit the preceding panel. Except now Betty's sleeves have been made to be inconsistent.

In the distant past, both Jughead and Reggie and Betty have had on a cast due to injury, and just as Veronica does in this story with a cane, recklessly knock everyone and everything around. Reggie does so maliciously while weakly feigning innocence, Jughead is perfectly oblivious to the wreckage, and Veronica here is entitled -- demanding to know why everything is in her way. Betty is sincere in her apologies.
