for a long time i thought about svetlana going on to own her own bar post-s8 since she was such a natural at running the alibi but now i kind of like the idea of her managing (and eventually owning) an eastern european restaurant more

Get Online Legal Services From Legal Consultant
Do you intend to seek legal services and advice online? Learn how to gain online access to speedy and best legal services.
You’ll occasionally find yourself in a situation where you require professional legal help. It could take the shape of help with document or agreement drafting or legal guidance on a specific issue. In routine legal situations or procedures, such as company contracts, property agreements, resolving family conflicts, creating a will, and many others, it can be easy to neglect competent legal assistance.
What can you do?
Since the law is complicated, you should always consult a legal consultant. Advocates are trained to deal with any issues that might come up in court or during settlement negotiations. If you are not trained in law, you won’t be able to interpret it correctly.
The ability to obtain legal services from the comfort of your couch rather than having to travel to a legal advisers office has altered the way people receive legal services. Now, all you need is a reliable internet connection, a gadget that can access the internet, and websites that offer these services. Individual consultants, law offices, and digital content suppliers offer online services. But, not all internet legal advice providers have legal training. When looking for legal advice online, you should exercise extreme caution because there is a variety of information available, some of which may not be reliable.
Some websites demand a fee for legal consultant services, while others are free. Even websites that advertise it as free may not be able to assist you until you enter your credit card information. You need to check their qualifications and experience to ensure they can offer reliable legal advice before consulting anyone online. Verify their competence with cases similar to yours. Reading reviews from former customers can also be helpful.

Do you think "Daphne is the one handling the budget" is at all a popular headcanon for the Mystery Gang?
I like the idea of Daphne pulling out some reading glasses to do the gang's bookkeeping in the shotgun seat on long drives. The bankrolling is definitely Daphne and Shaggy (they're the ones that come from money), but it's probably still a pretty limited amount of money to work with just based on how young they are.
I want to say that Shaggy's money is in some kind of trust until he's 25. Meanwhile, Daphne does have an allowance, which is pretty big since her parents know she's traveling and they may not approve of the company she keeps, but they DO want her to be safe... but it's not enough to just spend willy nilly, considering she's the bulk of the funds for four people and one dog.
Someone has to plan out what they spend on, like... food and hygiene. Trap supplies. Laundromat usage. The occasional motel night if the elements are making 'sleep in the van' a bad idea. Phone plans, depending on the era. Health insurance if their parents don't have them on-plan (depends on the year). Car insurance (legally required). The van is old enough to require maintenance and have a pretty crappy mpg, so the gas budget is pretty high. Yearly inspections and other "let's not get stopped by the cops" stuff. Vet visits (vaccinations, teeth cleaning) for Scooby. Medication for various chronic conditions they may have. Replacing Velma's glasses when they get broken or her prescription changes. Fred's hair gel, which I assume he has. Shaggy's weed stipend. So much sunscreen. Etc.
Like they do have homes to go back to in case they truly run out of money, but it's still a lot to cover, and emergencies on the road do happen.
Modern setting Daphne just does an accounting course online and gets a CPA degree all in service of: 1. Managing the team's money 2. Catching bad guys via audit
(I'd suggest a correspondence course for an older setting but they're always on the move so idk how effective that would be.)

I had fun with the last idea so have this as well:
Post-mountain, Jaskier goes back to Oxenfurt where he notices something strange. All the mail at his apartment is under the name "Julian of Rivia". When he tells the postal there must be a misunderstanding because no one under that name lives there it's always just been him and he hasn't been kicked out or moved. They ask if he's Jaskier to which he says yes and they reply that no it is indeed the right address.
Confused the bard goes to the bureau asking to see his identification papers because he wants to clear up a misunderstanding of identity. Well the bookkeeper brings out the forms and sure enough Jaskier's name changed because he married...he married Geralt. He wonders how this could've happened then thinks back to one night between contracts the two men got roaring drunk, Geralt was being his usual 'woe is me' self saying that witchers could never have certain things like retirement or marriage, Jaskier as usual wanted to prove him wrong so he dragged the two to the nearest town and married him just to prove witchers can be have whatever they pleased. Guess that didn't age well.
But that's not all, no. The town they went to was big enough and populated enough to have an actual courthouse so the marriage license is an official document and Jaskier hasn't got it annulled so he's still married.
Post-reunion and at Kaer Morhen, Jaskier has been talking to Yenn about it. Jaskier's family has found out about the eloping and has demanded to meet the princess. The bard wouldn't put it pass them to send Ferrant their way making false claims of insanity or child endangerment to take legal custody of Ciri only to either get head of the game and marry her off or give the girl over to Nilffgaard. So in order to keep both Ciri and Geralt far away from them he's already got his half of the divorce papers signed they just need Geralt's signature or mark and it'll be done. They'll be safe.
But when Jaskier hands Geralt the paperwork and quill the bastard says no then chucks it into the fire before walking away. Yenn has to physically hold Jaskier back from attacking Geralt.

Sims In Bloom: Generation 2 Pt. 98 (Questioning Bay Security & Grim Pays an Unwanted Visit)
cw: pet death
While Conrad looked over his case files at the precinct, Detective Zion Spangler approached him. "Can you help me with the manager of Bay Security? He's resisting attempts to book him, and he says he won't talk to me."
Conrad knew J Huntington III through parent-teacher nights and school assemblies. Though his focus was meant to be on the search for Rafa and not the investigation into the suspicious death of Jimmy Stefano, Conrad was still frustrated by a lack of leads and agreed to talk to him.
"I don't have a clue what you brought me in for," he groused as the sergeant took his fingerprints.
"Questionable bookkeeping, Mr. Huntington, just like you were told when the detectives picked you up."
"Well, like hell I'm gonna talk to some green young nobody on the same force that needs our help to keep anyone safe in this town!"
Conrad sighed. "Well, if you don't talk to me, I can't promise you'll be home tonight for dinner with your wife and kids."
"Come on, Sargent. It's a few days before Winterfest and I promised my kids I'd take them out shopping for their mom."
He grew more cooperative after that, following Conrad into the interrogation room while Zion and a few others watched from the other side of the glass. J looked across the table with a sneer while Conrad pointed out where the cameras were inside the room.
"We're just trying to figure out why a security company with a monopoly at the docks was off duty that night, and there are some questions about the books. Really, there's a question about the lack of much in the way of books."
"We're a legal company. You should be talking to George Brindleton, not me. He said pull the guys, I pulled the guys. It's my job to do what he says."
"George is wintering in the sun, but if you don't give us enough to work with, we'll have to call him in for questioning when he gets back. You and I both know he won't like having to talk to us."
The thinly veiled threat was enough to get J to look at photos of the crime scene and give insight into his work for George Brindleton.
"We do what he wants and he signs big checks. He paid us to make up the loss in paid time so close to the holidays."
"He told our captain he was cutting costs in the dead season, but if he's paid you, regardless, he had another reason."
J shrugged. "Talk to George. I don't ask questions. It doesn't serve me."
"And breaking kneecaps to manage what goes in and out of the port serves you, instead?"
"That's the problem with law enforcement these days. You're too good. But people are terrible, Sargent Gordon."
"Is that what you tell your kids?"
"Your son is a Landgraab, Sargent. What do they know about being good?"
Conrad held his hands in his lap. "Ash is a lot like his mother."
J scowled and Conrad changed tactics. This wasn't getting them anywhere. "We looked into Bay Security, and we know George Brindleton is an arms-length investor. So why do you do strictly what he says?"
"There's a lot of simoleons in legacy families."
"What does that matter to you? J Huntington the Third, is it?"
"That's a joke. There's no J Huntington the First or Second, but my makers thought it'd be funny. It's not, and maybe you can guess why I don't speak to them these days. I named my son Caiden."
"What does George have on you?"
"On me? Nothing. I came into this job with the deal already in place, and it's better for my family if I just accept things as they are. I don't need to be a hero. I know a good cop like you wouldn't understand."
Conrad knew he was no hero. "Not one of your guys was hanging around the docks and saw anything the night of the murder? Isn't there a Friday night poker game in one of the old fishing boats?"
"If we don't have to break knees, Sargent, we don't. I don't keep tabs on them when they're not working."
"You've never seen the victim in Brindleton Bay before?"
He shook his head. "Not until you showed me that picture of him dead at the docks."
With little learned from the head of Bay Security, Conrad let J Huntington go with nothing gained in their search for Jimmy Stefano's killer. Ximena was still at large, but he was grateful she hadn't turned up around him or his family in the weeks since the murder, at least.
Winterfest was just a few days away, and Heather and Conrad planned to forge ahead with the holiday as if nothing was wrong. Heather, especially, was loath to let Ximena ruin her children's Winterfest, and they didn't want Ash to notice anything amiss.
But though they were wary of the threat posed by Ximena, they still faced unexpected tragedy right before the holiday break.
Heather's old cat, Boomer, got sick with hot feet. She took him to her clinic and tried to help him, but she soon realized there was nothing she could do. He was twenty-one; it was his time.
The fuzzy white mixed breed died of old age the night before Winterfest Eve. Heather had brought him home from the clinic so he could pass comfortably. When the time came, the Nesbitt-Gordon household was visited by a new friend.
After Grim helped Boomer cross the rainbow bridge, Heather invited him inside from the cold, and he comforted her over the loss. "Grief is a privilege reserved for those fortunate enough to know love," he said wisely.
Heather had many pets, and she dealt with loss at her clinic, but it didn't take the sting away. Not tonight. Still, she was grateful for Grim's kindness and sent him on his way with a smile. "Bella Goth's probably expecting you. Thank you for caring for Boomer tonight."
Grim disappeared with a pound of his scythe against the floor. Despite the advice, Heather was heartbroken, and the holiday season began under a cloud of sadness at the Nesbitt-Gordon home. ->

Difference Between Bookkeeping and Accounting: An Ultimate Guide

if you're going to kill me would you hurry it up? i'd much rather miss this meeting
fun fact i also draw sometimes. cringe is dead, here's my rdr2 oc - dr morde groves. groves is a banker, accountant and money lender located in valentine. in typical valentine's fashion, he is the bookkeeper for the o'driscolls and wears green so the gang (which he views as a pest species) don't bother him out riding. his horse is a 12 year old greyed out steel grey brenton named eucalypt.
starting chapter 4, there would be a random encounter mission where arthur finds black belle (assuming her photograph has been taken) walking along the roadside after her horse has been killed escaping bounty hunters. she asks to be taken to valentine and introduces dr groves as maude, who corrects it is morde* nowdays, as one of her former fellow gang members who got scared and abandoned outlawing after the shootout that took out the rest of the Colter Tobin gang. after some back and forth bickering, morde agrees to help black belle financially if arthur is able to assist him with his business. he is a money lender, after all, and his clients can be difficult to reach. arthur writes a very bitter journal entry about being in the whim of another usurer.
except the missions are actually... giving people money. a young pregnant girl on her own trying to get out of town before her parents can send her to an unwed woman's home, an elderly woman struggling to live alone after the death of her husband, and finally culminates in a young woman (definitely not eliza's model) trying to escape her abusive husband with her five year old son. arthur gets the option to murder the husband. in the final mission, black belle is off on a new horse to resume her outlawing ways, and morde offers arthur ongoing, legal work if he ever wanted an out of the gang, which of course arthur refuses. morde looks slightly disheartened but wishes him luck
if at any point between the missions morde is looted, similar to how you can still rob or shoot any of the storeowners and they just respawn with head injuries, you can get a collectable 'letter to irish', which is a cryptid letter trying to warn kieran that the o'driscolls were very aware and very angry that he was riding with the VDLs and would 'seek to have their debt repaid', both encouraging and offering to help him escape to california. it ends with a line hoping the daughter of llyr is doing well with his new companions, to make it clear the letter was definitely meant for kieran. unfortunately, it was never sent, and kieran couldn't read anyway.
in chapter 6 and onwards, a horse identical to branwen can be found tied beside eucalypt on the street

Can you talk about what you do as an accountant? I never really considered it because I thought it would be a lot of (difficult) math and that's never been a strong subject for me, but your RB got me interested!
Sure! So I audit business tax returns for my state, I started auditing about 5 years ago. Basically, I look at tax returns, take notes in a spreadsheet, and I ask why things were done a certain way, ask for more information. Then I review it all and put together a report of adjustments and why.
I’ve done two different kinds of tax auditing, the one I did before was sort of like correcting a test. We corrected errors on the state return based off the federal. It was less in-depth. The kind I do now are more what you think of when you see audits in movies, we ask for a bunch of receipts to prove the number they wrote down is accurate. There’s more interaction which people, I actually conduct interviews as part of these audits, which I didn’t have to do before.
I think any job I’m going to have days where I’m questioning my life choices, but I do genuinely enjoy my work and feel good about it. Also it’s exciting to do some sleuthing. I try not to write about the juicy bits online in case it could be traced to me, but finding a big error (or something that someone’s trying to hide 👀) feels good! It’s like a puzzle.
If it’s something you’re interested in, I recommend checking it out. I never used to considered myself good at math because I’m not good at mental math, and I never took a class more advanced than stats, but really it is all add, subtract, multiply, divide, and you never need to do it in your head lol. We also set up checks and balances in spreadsheets to catch errors. Really the harder part for most people is the more conceptual legal stuff, but people start out with more simple audits and work their way up to that.
Before I was an auditor I did more bookkeeper-type accounting jobs, lots of data entry and then going back and checking for errors. And I found those a bit boring, but they would be a good fit for someone who enjoys a predictable rhythm at their job.
