once you're awake, he'll reprimand you for not taking care of yourself, but not mention that he had glared down any student who gave the two of you a strange look while you were asleep

Clodio LeFou is just as, if not more, fond of physical affection in all ways. when he knows you enjoy it, too, he'll merrily take your hand to guide you, or hug you when needed, or put an affectionate arm around your shoulder when in conversation. it's utterly casual to him, as if you've known each other for years rather than weeks. that sense of familiarity and comfort seems to follow him wherever he goes

WandaVision: Back in the 90s

He walked up to the home from work. He waved to his neighbor Wanda, who was playing with her kids in their front yard. The neighbor on his other side was a young man who roomed with his best friend. Their names were Gaston and LeFou. Gaston didnt seem to like Steve much, but he really liked talking to Belle.

Steve enterted his home and into the the living room. There was was clapping from an invisible audience when he entered. He found it werid, but it happened each time they entered a room for the first time.

He walked over to his pregnant wife who was on the couch reading. He stood behind her then leaned down to kiss her on the cheek. There was awws from the invisible audience.

On the floor their son was playing Super Mario on his Game Boy.

What I would have done

If you have been keeping up with my posts for the last week, you may have noticed that I fucking despise the new Descendants movie

There’s a lot of reasons behind this. One, nostalgia, I love the original ones (Harry Hook is one of my all time favorite characters lol I think he’s fun). Two, I expected more of the franchise, because it’s fucking Disney, and while I know Kenny Ortega wasn’t the director this time, there would at least be people who worked on the original movies involved in the process, so I thought they at least knew what they were doing. Three, nothing in the movie makes any fucking sense, and I’m not usually a person who gets hung up on nitpicks, like if you entertain me then do whatever you want, but my god it’s impossible to ignore.

But most of all, the story they were trying to tell just isn’t interesting.

Like, if I would tell someone what the best part of Descendants is, it’s not the songs, or the cast, or the costumes, or even really the characters. Don’t get me wrong I love all of those parts, and I doubt the movies would be even close to as good as they are if you removed one of these things. But the best and most interesting part to me, and to a lot of people in the fandom as well, is the concept of The Isle Of The Lost.

The concept of taking all of these classic Disney Villains with wildly different aesthetics, motives, ideologies, and overall moralities and placing them all on an island and make them build up a society, that shit’s fascinating, but the core movies do next to nothing with it cause they spend all their time on Auradon. The second one focuses the most on it, and guess what, that one’s the best one!

(I know the books exist, I read them, but they just weren’t that good, like it felt like I was reading bad fan fiction)

So what would I do for Descendants four?

Well, I’d set in on the fucking Isle.

Actually, I think this would genuinely work better as a series. Not that long of a series tho, maybe like eight episodes, each episode like 40 minutes long.

Each episode would focus on a different VK, set a few years before the first movie, and have a short composed story about their general life.

I don’t know which VKs exactly, but I think Harriet Hook could be interesting, her episode being like four or five years before the first movie so we can see preteen C3, I think that would be cute, also a young CJ.

Possibly the Gaston twins, though Lefou Deux could work too. Whichever it would be, the other would feature.

Jade, Jay’s cousin, could be a lot of fun, maybe have like a rivalry between the two.

Freddie and Celia, I think it’s insane that they never mention Freddie in D3, but like I wanna know what their relationship is like.

And of course, Red! Queen of Hearts is a villain, she should be on the Isle. And if any of you dare tell me that she’s from wonderland and they couldn’t like, capture her or whatever, they got fucking Hades on the Isle, they resurrected some guys to place them there, Queen of Hearts is not a problem.

(Also like, Morgie could be there, but this time as a real VK)

But yeah, lot of options lol.

Every episode would show just the grim reality of what these kids would have to live through their whole lives, the complicated relationships they would have with their parents, and really emphasize that fact. D1 was the only one that really focused on how the Isle kids were kids who were all victims of insane abuse their whole lives. I mean, in D3 they all like happily run to meet them once the barrier is down, which is crazy.

Also, the show would be rated PG-13. Like, I’m not asking for graphic scenes of abuse, but I do want it to be kinda gritty and grim, with some more psychological and mental abuse taking place. Also, we’re told multiple times about gang wars, but we aren’t really shown any. Maybe one episode could focus on that, like idk Clay Clayton (insane name btw) and his gang.

But most importantly, we’d have all the Disney villains in cool new leather outfits, which is what I think everyone wants tbh. I have gotten that one part of ‘Life Is Sweeter’ where the villain comes up more than any part of the movie, like people like the villains more than anything. And yeah I know they wouldn’t be young and hot anymore, but like we can have some extreme Milf and Dilf looks, it will even out.

Descendants is one of, if not the most popular franchise Disney Channel has made, it deserves a better continuation than Rise of Red.

Also, if the show is popular then we could have a season two/sister series, about the kids of Auradon, that could be interesting too, and also have some dark shit in it, idk. The way that Queen Leah spoke to Audrey in D3 had some dark undertones, so I think her episode could be interesting. Could also feature the political implications of The Isle, potential protests and propaganda, idk.

Also, Chloe can get an episode, so boom we got them both!

-it’s kinda like dawn winery is the ‘castle’ so imagine it as that just larger and mondstadt is the town that forgot all abt the castle in the woods

-so we all know how the story goes; The Prince aka Diluc is cursed with shit by an enchantress (Alice) for being selfish and is turned into a beast while everyone else is turned into random stuff you’d find in a home and then there’s a rose and if sm1 falls in love with Diluc before the last petal falls then everyone is set free.

-Gaston, or Kaeya in this, wants to marry Belle aka you, but you don’t like him despite how hot he is and then one day your father leaves for the market but gets lost and finds the castle, the beast captures him for staying in the dawn winery and then you switch places with him yeah yeah and fall in love

-Diluc genuinely radiates beast vibes especially given the fact how cold he is at first towards you

-like Diluc is not a nice person at all at the start. He’s rude, has no feelings, is cold hearted.

-it’s only when he realizes that the rose only has like 7 petals left he decided he needs to do something.

-but at the same time who could ever love him? He was a selfish monster.

-however when you escaped the castle and attacked by wolves, he knew leaving you out there to die was horrible so he saved you; getting hurt during it.

-you were contemplating on escaping and leaving him here to die, but you weren’t a monster like him and got him to stand up, taking him back to the castle and treating him

-from then on he was forever in your thanks

-it’s one day when he’s in bed, healing, he hears you reciting something familiar.

“Romeo and Juliet?” He asks with a scoff, turning to look at you.

“You know Shakespeare?” You ask, eyes lighting up a bit as you refused to believe someone like him actually reads.

When he nods, you scoff in shock with a laugh. “Do you like it? Do you have any favourite works?”

“None. Most of his works revolve around yucky smucky romance. I have way better books to read.”

“Oh really? Like what?”

- he has a whole fucking library in the dawn winery and when he takes you to it your shocked.

-in your town you’ve ready every single book but not one from his library.

-when he asks if you like it you scoff, claiming you “love it!”

-so he gives you the whole library.

-it’s then on all his old workers and friends notice how close you two have gotten. They’d find you reading a book to him as he’d try to sleep

-there would be snow fights out in the garden, him winning since his larger hands could make a very much larger snowball than yours

-I think we all get the point; then Gaston or Kaeya comes blah blah he dies

-the last petal falls and you’re like fuck but then you kiss him and OH EM GEE ALICE IS THERE AND TURNS HIM BACK TO A MAN

-he’s hot asf you realize with his red hair andnwjdnjwdnkwdjiwnekwke

-BALLROOM DANCING.

-he’s such a good dancer even as a beast oh my god

-other than that we know the story, but you’ve changed him for the better and freed everyone of the castle and have everyone their memories back.

-most importantly, you saved him and now he could marry you.

Childe; Anastasia

-idk even without his snezhnayan background or the chestnut hair he still gives me major Dimitri vibes

-so the story of Anastasia is ur a lil princess living with ur amazing family in snezhnya (russia). Childe is one of the kitchen boys and helpers, and admired Princess Y/N from afar constantly. However, one day during a ball, your castle and homeland is attacked by a wizard, killing your parents in the process. All that’s left of the Royal family is you and your grandma, Childe helping the both of you escape but is attacked in the process.

-running to a train to escape, your grandma makes it on first but you can’t catch up and grandma leaves without you blah blah she cries she misses you

-you gain a concussion or wtv and amnesia takes its place to you, now living In Liyue. after like a decade, Dimitri (Childe) and Vladmir (Pantalone) find out the grandmother is tryna find you and will reward whoever finds you. The two con men hold auditions to pretend to be princess Y/N, and then they see you, someone who looks JUST like princess Y/N and decide that you would pretend to be her.

-THE THING IS YOU ARE PRINCESS Y/N AND THEY DONT EBEN MNOW AND NOR DO YOU

-on the travel to paris, you get closer with Dimitri and on the travel, the wizard that called your family is trying to kill YOU so now your falling in love while someone is trying to kill you all while realizing who you are

-anyway so the casting

-dimitri as Childe obv

-Pantalone as Vladmir (his best bud)

-it makes sense because the both of them care abt money a lot so

-anyway I can just imagine you and Childe with that enemies to lovers and slow pining

-yk how he betrays the traveller in the game

-in the movie Dimitri SORTA betrays Anastasia cuz he wants the money for the reward

-but in this case, CHILDE, decides he jo longer wants the money and just wants YOU.

-Just ugh imagine you walking down the stairs in a gown and Childe can’t stop looking at you ajdnjendiejf

-like he acc has JAWS DROP

-literal drool running down his chin

-it’s not an official ballroom dance hut you two practice your dancing skills on a boat and your constantly stepping on his toes but he can’t get mad and he smiles at your giggles

-Pantalone notices and gives the idea to Childe that maybe instead of the money, he should just have you

-but Childe isn’t worthy of love, he’s a con man, and he needs the money.

-that is until he sees you walk in with that gown and LO AND BEHOLD HE IS IN LOVE LADIES

-you’re at an opera waiting for the chance to speak with ur grandmama and when Childe notices how nervous you are he just

“Everything’s gonna be fine.” He whispered, taking ahold of your fidgeting hand, his lips barely glazing over the knuckles covered by your white glove. he doesn’t make any move to let go through the whole opera.

- however once you realized he was only using you for the money, you get into a large fight with him and end up slapping him

-in the next few days once ur finally home and found your grandma, she invited Childe to table the money

-HOWEVER

“No money is worth of my love for her.”

so he doesn’t acc say that in the movie but I’m adding it here because he NEVER TOOK THE MONEY.

-a few days later at a ball in celebration for having you back,

-ur grandma tells you that Childe never took the money despite your thoughts and he realized he was speaking the truth; that at first he did this for the money, but then he wanted to do it for you.

-you leave to find Childe but of FUCKING COURSE THE WIZARD THAT KILLED YOUR FAMILY IS HERE

-Childe is there and honestly I’m not even gonna explain the fight but the wizard drowns and dies yayayayyaa

-he checks to make sure you’re okay and you’re not hurt after his ass saved u from the wizard multiple times and once he realizes that you’re okay and it’s over, he just smashes his lips against yours, so happy he finally has you.

-eventually you leave with Pantalone and Childe, going to travel the world once it was realized the princess life wasn’t suit for you.

-maybe it will soon, but now, you wanted to have all the time with Childe.

Cyno; Aladdin

“Getting into trouble a little early today, aren’t we Cyno?” Nilou chuckled, her and Dehya looking at Cyno with a horrible disguise on.

“It’s only trouble if you’re caught!”

ur not rlly street smart since you’ve been cooped up in the castle so you take an apple to give to a kid who was eyeing it and you don’t even realize it’s sm1 selling it

“You better have a way of paying for that.” The man said, voice rough. “No one steals from my shop.”

“I’m sorry sir I don’t have any money-“

“THIEF!”

“I’m really sorry! I had no idea! I promise I’ll go to the king and get money!” You pleaded, trying to squirm away from the seller who had a harsh grip on your wrist.

“Do you know what the penalty is for stealing?!.” He yelled, his hand on your wrist pushing it down onto a surface and his free hand pulling out his sword that somehow came out of nowhere.

Just as you were about to scream, a random young man grabbed his hand. “Thank you kind sir I’m so glad you found her!” He smiled at the man before turning to you with a glare. “I’ve been looking all over for you!”

“What are you doing?” You whispered as he slowly pushed you away.

“Play along.” He whispered back

“You know her?” The man asked, forcing the two of you to stop inching away.

Cyno frowned and turned to the man. “Sadly, yes.” He let out an exaggerated sad sigh. “She is my sister. She’s a little crazy!”

The man didn’t take his words for the truth and grabbed him by the shoulders. “She said she knew the king!”

Cyno only chuckled, pushing the man’s hands off of him. “She thinks the king is the fox.”

He pointed down to a small fox- his pet fox.

Your eyes widened, quickly catching the idea as you bowed down to his fox friend. “Oh wise king!”

The fox was confused asf but he took the pride.

-you run together and you thank him but then GUARDS CHASE CYNO AND HE GETS ARRESTED WHATTTT but with your authority as princess you command to let him go and he’s free!

-he meets jafar (casting will be seen soon) and jafar takes him to some temple claiming he’ll pay him or some shit if he goes In and takes a certain bottle or wtv

-guys I’m iffy on this part of the story so dont bully me if I’m off

-right when cyno is about to take the bottle his stuoid PET TOUCHES SMTH AND THE WHOLE TEMPLE GOES ON LOCKDOWN WHILE HES IN THERE AND JAFAR THINKS HES DEAD SO HE TAKES THE BOTTLE FROM CYNO WHILE HE TRIES TO ESCAPE

-BUT

-cyno tricked him and NEVER GRABBED THE BOTTLE

-it takes cyno a while to realize while trapped in the temple that the bottle is acc a wish bottle

-he just randomly rubs it and POOF genie pops out and he wishes to get out the temple yayyy

-then he wishes to become a prince for all the money and also does it because he’s like in love with you despite seeing u once but you can only marry a prince

-what is this…JAFAR IS THE KINGS BSF AND HELPER?!?!?!

-jafar tries to frame cyno of corrupting the king blah blah jafar is evil then there’s a fight save the day smooch yeah

-okay onto casting

-the genie as KAVEHHHH

-they’re so similar if you think about it

-abu or the monkey friend as tighnari but he’s a little fox in this

-jafar as Azar (IT RHYMES)

-okay so cyno comes on a whole ass elephant claiming to be a prince and you can’t deny that he’s a lil fine

-you somehow don’t recognize the prince is the very man who saved you

-however ever since your first interaction with cyno In thé kingdom he has NOT STOPPD THINKNG AHT YOU

-before he wished to become a prince he was telling kaveh all about you

“And pretty?”

-so yeah he’s vv much in love despite a one time interaction

-anyway one day ur mom is out blah blah and it’s your birthday blah blah and on your birthday there are these floating lanterns at the palace and you REALLY WANNA GO but ofc crazy mama says no

-but then some random hot guy comes through the tower window and because he’s a stranger and you’ve never seen anyone besides your mom you hit him with a pan and he goes unconscious

-he wakes up tied to a chair by YOUR HAIR.

“Uh, I’m sorry, is this hair?”

-you ask him what he wants and tbh I don’t remember the story but you make him take you to the lanterns or lights or wtv and he’s like yk what? Sure

-OH NOW I REMMEBER

-okay so he stole a crown from the palace

-and he found your tower to hide in it and when he went unconscious you stole the bag that had the crown

-so you say if he wants it back he has to take you and he’s like bet

-the dude can only stare as you go through a whole episode of feeling grass for the first time in your life but also regretting leaving your tower because your mom will be so mad when you get back but at the same time you’re finally free yet-

-this happens for an hour.

-uhm thing is he tried to steal the crown from you though so he was gonna send you to a tavern filled with scary men and lowk leave you there

-nevertheless he’s able to see and he finds a way out of the cave

-and there were 2 people Kazuha pissed off (two random men I don’t have names) who he actually stole the crown with and then ran away from them

-you guys open up to each other last night and Kazuha was shocked that he felt so relieved to open up to someone he met just 18 hours ago

“How did you find me?!” You ask, sputtering as your mom pulls you into a hug.

“I just listened to the sound of complete and utter betrayal and followed it! We’re going home, now.” Her soft and sarcastic voice turned into a harsh one as she gripped your wrist, trying to make you follow her.

You fought back. “What? Mom, you don’t understand- I’ve been on this Incredible journey and I’ve seen and learned so much! I even met someone…” you whispered the last sentence with a smile.

She scoffed before the sarcastic voice came back. “Yes, the wanted man. I’m so proud! Now come on.” It quickly turned harsh again and she pulled your wrist but you kept your ground.

“If he’s lying, don’t come crying. Your mother always knows best.” And in an instant, she’s disappeared into the night fog, and you can only stare in shock.

You overhear Kazuha coming back and you quickly hide the crown in the bag and then hide the bag behind a nearby tree

“Are you all right?” Kazuha asks, looking at your back as you were turned away from him.

You out on a fake smile, instantly turning. “Yep! Just lost in thought.”

He doesn’t suspect anhtning and nods, going on about whatever topic, and you constantly find yourself glancing back at the tree

-you both go to sleep later and he’s such a gentlemen he gets you smth comfy to put your head on and he takes a rock.

-when he wakes up

-there’s a gigantic castle tanuki guard growling right above him and he realizes he’s fucked

-you wake up to screaming and somehow this TANUKI is DRAGGING Kazuha across the ground since his boot was in its foot

-you went to grab Kazuha’s hand, pulling on it and you obv win but the tanuki ends up taking Kazuha’s boot

-you tell the tanuki to sit and then call her a good girl and her baby tail starts wagging as if it’s an actual dog and Kazuha can only be like what the fuck

“You must be so tired from chasing this bad guy for days!” You say in a baby voice, scratching the Tanuki’s head and she nods.

“She’s a bad tanuki! Bad!”

“She’s just a big sweetheart!” You look at the dollar, smiling at the name. “Aren’t you Sayu?”

She, despite being a tanuki who shouldn’t understand anything, is currently nodding her head.

“Look, today is the biggest day of my life- it’s my birthday. And you can’t take Kazuha because he’s taking me to see the lights and it’s all I ever wanted to see! So, can you please not drag him to the castle and get him arrested?”

The tanuki somehow scoffed

“Just for 24 hours then you can chase each other to your hearts contents, okay?” You ask, watching as the animal and the full on adult glare at each other.

Kazuha scoffs along with the Tanuki huffing. “Fine.” He puts his hand out and Sayu hesitantly SOMEHOW shakes it, but makes no move to let go.

You walk away when you hear the kingdom bells, signalling the festival is gonna start, and when you walk away you don’t even realize or see the Tanuki punch Kazuha in the chest.

-so you’re both finally in the kingdom and of course you’re both hiding but now he feels like he kinda needs to make sure you’re okay because he was just gonna leave you there but you kinda saved him when running away from the guards

-also the tanuki is now glaring at him and watching his every move so he can’t leave you

-you also saved him when the scary men in the tavern tried to kill them but then you hit one of with your famous pan and karaoke starts

-he did originally plan to do that but after last night he lowk started liking you and realized you were too sweet and he wanted to make your special day happy

-each time you two- well three now- walk by a poster with his drawn out face, he grabs it and crumples it. Only so no one knows it’s him and because they made his nose look HIDEOUS on it

-when he crumples it he hears the tanuki/ sayu/ yell and he just throws it at her.

-then she throws it back

-you had to yell at them to stop

-so the only concern is your hair as a bunch of people step on it and it’s a VERY crowded kingdom

-he grabs handfuls of it so no one steps on it and no one gets suspicious

-town square though there’s 4 little girls who literally LIGHT UP at the sight of your hair and they braid pieces of it then braid it again so it stays short

-short is down to your feet btw

-when Kazuha looks he has to admit your really fucking pretty

-like he can stop staring and he’s finally out of it when the tanuki is SMIRKING at him and laughing her ass off

-he grabs a nearby flower and puts it right above your ear

-he’s a thief so he steals SOME snacks for you guys and he might buy a gift

-he even buys you a cloth of the kingdom symbol- a sun.

-he realizes he lowkey likes you despite knowing u for one day??

-but you’re so interesting and beautiful and he won’t say it’s love but there’s def smth he has for you

-when he’s abt to buy you guys some stuff you notice on the wall surrounding the castle there is an old painting

“It’s for the lost princess.” A little girl said, putting a flower down beside the wall and you realized there were multiple flowers everywhere.

-he sees you dancing with a little boy and then you start to gather in more people to dance

-you encourage him to come dance and he says no but then Sayu pushes him

-sadly he can’t dance with you as multiple people take his arm and twirl around with him :(

-he ends up throwing a bag of apples and she stares hesitantly at them then him

“I bought them!” He yelled, and Sayu instantly started eating the apples.

“Most of them.” He chuckled, and Sayu glared again at him again.

“Where are we going?” You asked

“It’s the best day of your life. I figured you should have the best view for the best day.” He smiled.

-he takes you all the way to a spot on the ocean near the castle that was on the edge of the cliff

-it wasn’t too near that all you could see was that but the shape was for sure visible

-he noticed you’re off again and when he asks if your okay, you admit your terrified

-you explain that you’ve been looking forward to these lights for so many years after seeing them from your tower, dreaming about what it might feel like when those lights rise in the sky, but what if it’s not everything you dreamed to be?

-he can only stare at you, reassure you that it will be amazing

-also keep in mind on every lantern there is a sun symbol on it

-you notice the light reflection in the water and when you look up, all the lanterns start to fly up all across the kingdom and far into the water

-when you saw the light you started SCRAMBLING on the boat and you almost tipped the whole boat over and were prob gonna drown again but wtv

“I should’ve given it to you before but I was just…” You paused, letting out a sigh. “I was just scared. And the thing is, I’m not scared anymore. Do you get what I mean?”

He smiles, putting his hand in the bag, but not to grab it, and instead pushes it down into your lap, showing he doesn’t want it anymore. “‘Im starting to.”

“Leaving again huh? Kaedehara?” Dumbo 1 chuckled, standing up from the rock he was sitting on.

“We heard you found something more valuable than a crown.” He said, walking towards him until they wereface to face.

-you’re starting to get worried because he’s been gone for a while

-but then you notice the shape of a man in the fog and you’re happy!’

You stared confused but walked closer to the water, only to see Kazuha leaving on a boat with the bag.

One of the men circled you, touching your braid. “A fair trade. A crown for the girl with the magic hair.”

You gasped

“How much do you think someone would pay to stay young and healthy forever. That’s what your hair does, correct?” The other said.

“No, no!” You started to back away, pleading the men after one of them pulled a dagger out with those large backs people usually…bag you with.

You started running, losing sight of the two, but your braid gets caught onto a branch and you struggle to let it go.

However, you hear sounds of grunts and struggles and you hear you mothers voice. “Y/N!?”

“Mother?” You ran back to the spot once your braid was free, to see the two men passed out on the ground and your mother standing beneath them.

-she starts to claim she was so worried, literally on the verge of tears

-you start crying and run into her arms and when you ask how she knew where you were she said she followed you

-she tells you to leave but you find yourself looking back at the boat Kazuha was on, trying not to cry

-you turn back ti see your mom staring at you with her arms out, and you can’t help but run into her arms and cry, claiming she was right the whole time

-however little did you know it was all fake.

-your mother originally payed the men if they could act like they were actually going to take you so she could bring you back home so she could live

-idk if I mentioned but your hair keeps her alive wtv

-Kazuha was on the boat, but he was actually tied and the two men pushed the boat to make sure it would go to the docks of the kingdom

-he wakes up when the boats hit the docks and he’s yelling out your name and doesn’t realize the current predicament

-the crown is tied to his hand

-the 2 ken wanted their revenge so they decided to put him in and the mother paid em for it

-while he’s being arrested, sayu could only watch with concern

-even while hes being arrested HES still yelling your name

-sayu looks back at the island you were both previously on and now she’s worried as fuck

-so the next day he’s in the dungeon blah blah and then the guards take him to get executed

-that same day for you, you’re back in the tower and your mom let the braids out and all the flowers too

-even the one Kazuha put in your hair

-but you don’t say anything, frowning the whole time

-the girl kinda guilt trips you, saying she tried to warn you and you’re just too naive for this selfish world and then she leaves you in your room alone

-you look at the cloth Kazuha gave you which was crumpled up in your hands and you just stare at the sun symbol on it

-you lay down onto your bed, looking at the ceiling

-but then you realize that all these years trapped in a tower, you’ve painted and drawn on every wall and ceiling of the tower

-you’ve drawn stuff you’ve never seen before but was always in the back of your head

-such as the kingdoms sun symbol

-you look back at the cliff then back at the ceiling anf sit up, trying to get a better look at it

-you have this like hallucination where every sun symbol starts to glow on the ceiling

-and then you get this vision back to the painting on the wall and realize

-your the lost princess

-okay back to Kazuha

-while the guards are walking him through the dungeons he noticed the SAME TWO MEN

-he runs from the guards and grips onto the collar of one of them, yelling and asking where the hell are you

-the one that was grabbed claimed he didn’t know and that some old lady arrested them and shit

-before he could ask the guards grab him again

-OKAY BACK TO YOU

-you walk out the room and ask your mom if uour thé lost princess

-she tells you don’t be ridiculous but your not having it

-but you know the truth and yell “I’m the lost princess!”

-she only stared at you with large eyes before she glared

“Everything I did was to protect you.”

You pushed her, walking down the stairs away from her. Your pushed caused her to fall into a mirror, all the pieces shattering underneath her. “For the last two decades I’ve been forced to hide away from the world, but I should’ve been hiding from you!”

“And where would you even go?!” She scoffed. “He won’t be there for you. That criminal is to be hanged for his crimes.”

Your eyes widened with a gasp, and she tries to comfort you but you grab her wrist tightly. “No. You were wrong about the world. Wrong about me! And I will NEVER let you use my hair AGAIN!”

-right when they’re about to take Kazuha into the room where he’s gonna get hanged

-all the doors suddenly close around them

-the main guard just scoffed, banging on the door. “What’s the meaning of this!”

-the little shuttle piece on the door opened with a slide, and Kazuha’s eyes widened to see one of the men from the tavern where you sang karaoke with them

-“what’s the password?”

-“What?!”

-“that’s not it!”

-“OPEN THIS DOOR!”

-“not even close!”

-“you have three seconds!”

-when he starts counting down he doesn’t even realize all the doors that were previously locked suddenly opened at the rest of the men from the tavern grabbed the guards holding Kazuha

-the men from the tavern are the crux ppl btw

-the main guard looks back and he’s like wtf but then BEIDOU THE OWNER IF THE TAVERN AKA BEST LADY smacks him with a frying pan and sends him to the ground unconscious

-who knew frying pans were such an efficient way to make someone go unconscious?

-more guards come running in and Beidou grabs Kazuha’s hand, rushing him out while the others distracted the guards

-once out, a horde of guards are running towards him and he’s like oh shit

-Beidou picks him up and placed him onto something, telling him instructions

“Head down, arms in, knees apart.”

He repeated her words with every motion, but then looked at her confused “knees apart?”

Beidou only smirks and he doesn’t even realize he’s on some sort of catapult until one of the larger crux members jumps down onto the other side and Kazuha goes FLYING

The guards only stare

-he ends up landing on SAYU

-somehow she can carry him?

-he literally thanked Sayu for bringing the guards and then Sayu JUMOS OFF THR DUNGEON WALLS and there’s this whole scene of a TANUKI running like a horse thays jumping off of roof tops and then Sayu brings him to your tower

-don’t ask how she knows where it is idk

-he starts calling you, yelling your name. “Y/N! Let down your hair!”

-yes they use your hair to get into the tower don’t ask

-when you don’t respond he starts climbing the walls and then he hears the window open and he’s like oh my god!!

-he stares shocked and then he feels this horrible pain and your mom STABBED HIM FROM BEHIND and he falls to the ground bleeding out yeah yeah

-you try to go towards him but your ‘mom’ is holding onto a chain forcing you to her

-yes a chain.

-don’t ask.

-she wants to take you far away so no one ever finds you again

-the tape falls off your mouth and you yell. “No! I won’t stop, and I will never stop trying to get away from you!” You panted. “But I will go with you if you let me heal him. Please?”

His eyes widened, all while groaning and trying to stop the blood. “Y/N! No!”

-she ends up agreeing and unchains you, but then chains Kazuha do he doesn’t get any ideas of following you

-you immediately ran to him, eyes widening at the blood

-I’m realizing out of all the Disney scenes I’ve wrote this is the only fight scene I’m actualky writing

“Y/N. You can’t do this.” He panted. “I can’t let you die with her.

“But if you do, then you will die.” You whispered with a frown, cupping his cheek. “Hey. It’s gonna be alright.”

“Y/N.” He whispered, his chained hand coming to cup your cheek as he leaned closer, but what you didn’t realize is that he had grabbed a broken shard from the mirror you pushed your mother into, and he reached behind and immediately cut your hair

Your mom screamed and your eyes widened, your hair colour going a tad bit darker than it used to be. The now cut hair did the same thing.

The mother was screaming and she realized that all the affects your magic had on her was starting to ware off/ she was becoming old. Her hands went pale and slender, as if she was a zombie.

And then she faded into dust.

You couldn’t care less.

“Kazuha!” You yell, shaking him as his eyes started to close. You brought his hand to your hair, reciting the lullaby but nothing happened.

“Hey.” He whispered. “You were my new dream.” He said weakly.

You chuckled sadly. “And you were mine.”

With that, he smiled, and let out a final exhale as he went limp in your arms.

-you started BALLING your eyes out right there and then; reciting the lullaby over and over again for anything , but there was never anything and he stayed dead.

-you were sobbing over him, a tear falling into his cheek.

-however

-the tear started to glow and then his wound started to glow and he was STARTING TO HEAL?!

-the glow slowly faded and with it going away, HE CANE BACK TO LIFR WITH A LARHE ASS GASP

-ofc after dying the first thing he said is your name

“Have I ever told you I got a think for H/C?” He asked, looking at the darker colour of your previous hair shade.

You chuckled and immediately wrapped your arms around him, now sitting on his thigh.

He hugged you tight and before he knows it, your smashing your lips against his.

-so he takes you back to the castle and then guard runs into your real parents room, claiming you were found

-they instantly start RUNNING to a balcony and see you with Kazuha

-anyway there’s a reunion, hugs tears blah blah whatever would happen after 2 decades of not seeing each other.

-Kazuha onky smiled over the whole thing and then YOUR MOM PULLED HIM INTO THE HUG

-the kingdom rejoiced for their lost princess had returned and the party lasted for a week

-Kazuha hardly remmebered anything that happened

-the crux members eventually had their dreams come true and got jobs in the kingdom

-thanks to Sayu, crime disappeared overnight ad bf so did most of the apples

-at last you were home and finally had a real family and you were a princess worth waiting for

-everh now and then whenever your out Kazuha woullf take the crown off your head and hide it but you always knew and he’d place it back on your head with a giggle

-a few years later he finally placed a ring on that finger and you lived happily ever after

-he also had all charges dropped against him too so he was no longer a thief!

-so we all know frozen is focused on Elsa but for the love story we’re focusing on just you

-so for this you will choose who you want your older sister to be

-whoever has a Cryo vision or a lady u wanna choose and make them have ice powers but wtv

-so basically the story starts out with 8 year old you waking up your sister 10 year old sister

-and your bored

-she tells you to go back to sleep but then you ask if she wants to build a snowman.

-sister has ice powers yayaya she can also make snow

-one day while your jumping shes making snow pillars but you go to fast and she slips on ice and accidentally uses her ice powers and hits your head

-you pass out and she’s crying calling your parents

-they take you to a small area away from the kingdom and.

-it’s mushrooms.

-you know nahida’s mushroom besties or the ones we see around sumeru thay pop up and disappear

-yeah those r the trolls from frozen

-nahida is human but she lives with them

-she tells ur dad that you need to forget your sister if you wanna live because if she hits you again you can die

-she replaces all memories of sister creating snow or ice and replaced them with natural snow and ice and the two of you together so the fun stays

-no one can know of her magic so all do the staff was reduced in the castle, the gates and windows were always closed, and Elsa has NEVER been outside since

-so basically for the next decade your sister doesn’t talk to you, and your always outside your door asking her if she wants to go in the snow and build a snowman but she tells you to go away

-however during this decade her powers got stronger

-it’s not until your 18 when your parents leave for a trip over seas

-sadly their ship goes down and they die

-your sisyer doesn’t even show up to the funeral

-so three years later your sister is finally of age to become queen and it’s coronation day!

-all the gates open and you’re finally outside

-what if you meet your future lover at the coronation?

-well one thing for sure you met someone you liked but not at coronation…

-you almost fall into a boat but someone catches you however he falls on top of you

-your both apologizing and then he finally introduced himself

-of course you bump into a prince

-like you do tell each other everything and he reveals he has 10 siblings and he’s the youngest

-he asks if you’ll marry him despite knowing each other for 5 hours and your like oh my god yes!!!!

-when you ask your sister for permission she’s like no cuz SHES SMART

-you get mad and cause a scene and you grab your hand and you pull her glove off accidentally

-she loses control and ice magic goes woosh

-fast forward she runs away

-I’m acc so tired and wanna get this post done with I’m sorry if this is rushed but it’s short cuz the main focus isn’t even supposed to be you

-your sister runs away and with her magic she causes an eternal winter IN THE MIDDLE OF SUMMER.

-you chase after her into the woods and little do you know after her whole “let it go” episode she created a whole castle out of ICE.

-I still wonder what she slept on.

-uhm so you leave prince Childe in charge of the king on of sumeru while you find your sister

-your horse runs away from you cuz bro knows he don’t want this bs rn

-your literally in a dress which makes this sm worse because now it’s like Snezhnaya and there’s sm it goes up to your knees

-you do find a shop though in the middle of nowhere at night and ask if they have any winter shit

-the owner points you to their collection and there’s just the stuff you need so yay!

-just when your about to buy it, someone walks in covered in snow and good lord he’s tall.

-he walks up to you and mumbled something but you can hardly hear with the mask over his face

“Huh?” You asked.

He leaned in closer, “behind you.”

You looked behind you to see carrots on the table where the owner was and quickly apologized, moving for him.

He grabbed the carrots then moved to grab a rope and pick axe.

“Where’s all this snow coming from?” The worker, Cyno, asked, looking at the man covered in snow.

“The North mountain.” He responded, placing down the stuff on the table.

“North mountain.” You whispered to yourself.

“That’ll be 40.” Cyno said.

The man scoffed. “40? No 10.”

“Apologies, but 10 is a big problem.”

“You wanna talk about problems? I sell ice for a living.” He pointed to a window and you saw a large sled with a bunch of ice on it.

You winced. “Not the best job.”

He glared at you and you shut your mouth, but only for a second until you started asking questions about the mountain and what he saw. “Did it seem magical?”

His glare stayed but he removed his mask to speak clearer. “Yes. Now back up while I deal with this crook here.”

“Crook?” Cyno repeated, standing up, and the man realized he was fucked- especially when he was thrown out of the shop.

-you ended up buying his stuff for him, and when he asked why, you told him to bring you up the North mountain

-and because you were kind enough ti buy his stuff after being thrown out, he decided to take you

-he owns a pet moose named tighnari.

-it’s funny how all the pet side kicks are named Tighnari in this post

-so while you’re on the sled thingy or whatever, he’s asking you what made the queen go all crazy

“So uh tell me. What made the queen go all ice crazy?” He asked, letting Tighnari guide the sled mobile.

You chuckled yet grimaced. “Uh..it was all my fault. I got engaged but she’d only just freak out because I met him that same day. And she said she wouldn’t bless the marriage and-“

“Wait,” he cut you off, blinking before continuing. “You got engaged to someone you just met on that day?”

“Yeah! Anyway I got mad and then she got mad and then-“

He turned his body to look at you, still confused. “Hang on! You mean to tell me you got engaged to someone you JUST met THAT DAY?”

“Yes! Pay attention. But the thing is she ALWAYS had the gloves on and I thought it was a thing about dirt!”

“Didn’t your parents ever warn you about strangers?!”

You blinked, before slowly letting out a “Yes” as you scooted away from him.

He just trolled his eyes

“But Childe is not a stranger!”

“Childe?!” He burst out laughing. “That’s an Incredulous name. If he’s not a stranger, what’s his last name?”

“….of Snezhnaya.”

He scoffed. “Favourite food?”

“….Raw fish.”

“Good lord- you’re marrying a man who eats raw fish as his favourite food? How in the world are you a princess!?”

“Hey!”

“HAH I KNOW THIS ONE! Scaramouche!”

“Snezhnaya’a got some weird names.” He chuckled with a shake of his head. “Eye colour?”

“Dreamy.”

“Have you had a meal with him yet? What if you hate the way he eats? What if you hate the way he picks his nose?”

“Picks his nose?!” You repeated, bewildered.

“And eats it.”

The man only smirked before looking away with a shrug. “All men do it.”

“Ew! Look it doesn’t matter! It’s true love.”

“Doesn’t sound like true love.” The shit eating grin on his face never left.

“What are You some sort of love expert?” You scoffed.

“No, but I have friends who are.”

“You havé friends who are love experts? I’m not buying it.” You didn’t notice the way the sled came to a stop and Tighnari was looking around frantically along with the man.

“Stop talking.”

“Nonono I’d like to meet-“ you were cut off with his hand over your mouth.

“Shh.” He stood up, holding a lantern up to get a better look around. He turned, squinting into a certain area of the woods and then wolves started to show.

“Shit.” He breathed out before immediately yelling at Tighnari to move.

“What is it?” You asked, fear speaking in you.

“Wolves.” He spoke while lighting a torch.

“What do i do?”

“Nothing.” He threw the now lit up torch at the wolves. “Just don’t get eaten.”

“But I wanna help!”

“No!”

“Why not?”

“Because I don’t trust your judgement.”

You let out the most exaggerated gasp. “Excuse me?”

He pushed you back a bit to kick a wolf that caught up. “Who marries a man they just met?!”

“It’s called true love!” You yelled, grabbing a random ukulele from the back of the sled and swinging it over his head to hit a wolf that jumped up.

“Woah!” He smirked, before a wolf bit onto his boot and dragged him off the sled but he quickly grabbed a rope that was tied to it.

“If i die my name is Alhaitham for my funeral!” He yelled.

You grabbed a wooden stick to light up, turning it into a torch before you lit up something random at the back of the sled. “Al, duck!”

“It’s ALHAITHAM!” He yelled, but did as you said when he saw you throw whatever the hell was in your hands that was on fire

He started to climb the rope back onto the sled. “You almost killed me!”

“But I didn’t!”

His eyes widened and you turned to see a cliff coming up.

“Jump Tighnari!”

“You don’t tell him what to do, I do!” He spoke while grabbing you, practically man handling you as he threw you onto Tighnari. Just as the cliff came up, he cut the rope connecting his moose firmed to the sled, prioritizing your safety over his as he jumped off the sled and PRAYED he would make it.

-he gripped onto the edge of the cliff, looking down to see his sweet sled on fire.

-he just bought that!

-he started to slip but you grabbed his hand and pulled him back up

-you promised you’d buy him a new one later

-you also told him you understand if he doesn’t wanna help you anymore and you started to leave

-in full honestly Alhaitham coukd care less if you died in the woods

-but you promised a new sled and if you die he won’t get it so he does follow after you

- anyway you spend the whole night tryna get through the woods and the whole time you just hoped your sister would be able to remove this eternal winter

-in the morning you start to realize how beautiful the snow and the hanging ice looks

“Who knew winter could be so beautiful?”

“Yeah!”

You and Alhaitham both looked at each other confused when you heard a new voice, and for a second then both of you thought it was Tighnari talking.

“It’s so fun! There should be some colour! Like crimson or yellow- actually yellow is just bad.” The voice became louder with each word and suddenly standing between the two of you was a talking snowman.

You screamed, immediately kicking it and it’s head flew off and landed in Alhaitham’s arms. “You’re creepy.” He said, throwing it back to you but then you threw it back to him and the continuation of it.

The body started walking towards you and you threw the head at it, sending it into the snow.

He stood up, his head upside down. “What am I looking at? Why are you hanging like bats?”

You inched your way closer to it, fixing it’s head.

“Oh thank you! Now I’m perfect.”

“Almost,” You chuckled, realizing this was a harmless snowman. You looked through Alhaitham’s bag before grabbing a carrot, making its nose.

“Okay, let’s start this thing over, hi everyone, I’m Kaveh!”

“You creep me out.” Alhaitham chuckled, kneeling down to his level.

You blinked. “Kaveh?”

“Hi.”

“That’s right! Kaveh!”

“And you are…?”

“Y/N!”

“Who’s the funky looking donkey over there?” He turned to Tighnari and Alhaitham standing beside each other- well moose tighnari.

“That’s Tighnari!”

“And who’s the moose?”

Alhaitham glared and you burst out into laughter. “…Tighnari.”

“Got it!” He screamed when Tighnari tried to eat his carrot nose.

“Kaveh.” You called and he turned to you.

“Did S/N build you?”

“Yeah, Why?” He asked, not caring that Alhaitham pulled out his stick arm, analyzing it.

“Do you know where she is?”

“Yeah, Why?”

“Can you take us to her?”

“Yeah, Why!”

“We need her to bring back summer.” Alhaitham spoke for you, putting the arm back into Kaveh’s snow body.

Kaveh let out a squeak. “I love summer! The sun, and how hot it is!”

“Really?” Alhaitham grinned. “I guess you don’t have much experience with heat.”

“Nope! But sometimes I like to close my eyes and imagine.

Suddenly, he started singing and dancing and you and Alhaitham just stared.

“My snow up against the gorgeous sand probably getting a good old tan in SUMMERRR~~”

Alhaitham crossed his arms over his chest, smirking. “I’m gonna tell him.”

You gasped, hitting him. “Don’t you dare!”

“Somebody’s gotta tell him!”

-so he’s supposed to melt in summer and ofc Alhaitham wants to ruin his dream of summer

-back in sumeru kingdom Childe finds your horse running back but your not on it and he thinks you’re in danger

-so he sets out with his guards to find you

-anyway back to you

-Alhaitham is asking you what your gonna say to your sister and you reveal you had no idea

-kaveh goes on about how sweet your sister is and he doesn’t even realize he’s walking right into an icicle

-“oh look, I’ve been Impaled.”

-your all faced with a cliff and you try climbing it but Alhaitham Is telling you that your gonna kill yourself

-like anywhere you put your foot down he’ll say “I wouldn’t put it there!” And HE IS ALWAYS RIGHT

-then kaveh finds an ice staircase and you jump off, Alhaitham catching you in his hands

-he could only smile as you ran off

-“holy shit.” The two of you breathed out, looking at the castle

-“now THAT is ice. I think I might cry.”

-sadly Tighnari cannot climb the stairs because of his hooves

-at the door if the castle your hesitant and kaveh kept telling you to knock but your scared and he’s like “does she not know how to knock?”

-but the door opened automatically so wtv

“You probably shouldn’t come in.” You told him and he whined.

“What? Why not! It’s a palace of ice!”

“Last time I brought a guy she caused an eternal winter.”

“Good point.”

“You too, Kaveh.”

“NOOOOOOO”

-making your way into the castle your like holy shir begause it’s all ICE but it’s so beautiful

-your lwokey slipping a lot too

-your sister comes out and is like why tf r u here

-and your just complimenting the ice castle and you apologize for everything that happened

-she tells you it’s alright and you should leave because you belong in Suneru

“Actually about that…” you trailed off, but then you heard Kaveh running in.

“Kaveh?” Your sisters eyes widened.

“We built him when we were kids, remember?” You asked.

“Yeah, I do…”

“We were so close, S/N. We can be like that again if you come back to Sumeru.”

“I’m sorry, but I can’t.” She shook her head; remembering the last time you were close. “You need to leave.”

-she tells you to go enjoy the summer of sumeru while you chase after her

-plus without her the gates are open and she’s free

-you tell her Sumeru is in deep, deep, deep, deep snow

-“yeah you set off an eternal winter.”

-with all the stress on her she shoots her ice and it HITS YOU

-Alhaitham overheard everything and he comes running in

-he encourages you to leave and when your like no your sister creates a whole ICE MONSTER and it grabs the two of you and sends you flying down the stairs

“It is not nice to throw people!” You yelled, forming a snowball in your hands.

“Woah woah woah!” He grabbed you. “Calm down and relax Icy pants. Leave the snow man be.”

“Alright.” You sighed and he let you go, but the moment he did you immediately threw the snowball at the large snow and ice man.

-it’s the smallest impact but he GROWLS and starts chasing after you two

-you both end up sliding away but once your far and hes still chasing, a 200foot drop cliff pops up

-he gets rope out of now where and wraps it around your waist before tying the other side to the pickaxe and sticking it into the snow and you both jump off

-you both forgot about Kaveh but he ends up jumping off the cliff and he’s fine

-HOWEVER THE LARHE ICE KAN AND IS SMART AND HE PULLS ON THE ROPE

-“DONT COME BACK.” IT growled and threw you guys down

-thankfully there’s like metres of snow so it was lke landing on a pillow

-Alhaitham put his hands under our arms and pulled you out of the snow and you thanked him, both of you smiling

-you asked him how his head was and he said he had a thick skull

“I don’t have a skull.” Kaveh said.

-then he asked how your hair was

-YOUR HAIR WAS TURNING WHITE

-he realized it was because you were struck with your sisters magic and then you asked if it looked bad

-“…No’”

“You hesitated.” Kaveh spoke.

“No! Y/N you need help. I’ll bring you to my friends.”

“The love experts?”

-so he acc brings you to the mushrooms you went to as a kid but you don’t know since you don’t remember

“Meet my family!” Alhaitham chuckled, walking in a field of mushrooms.

You blinked.

“He’s crazy.” Kaveh whispered, looking at how Alhaitham talked to mushrooms in the ground. “I’ll distract him while you run.”

He walks up to a mushroom and pets it. “It’s nice to meet you!” He turned and whispered ahain. “Because I love you Y/N, you NEED to run. WHY ARENT YOU RUNNING?!”

“I’m gonna go.” You said.

Alhaitham groaned. “Wait!”

However, the ground started to shake and before you know it the mushrooms are coming out the ground and becoming slightly larger and they start TALKING.

“ALHAITHAM IS HOME!” They all screamed.

-he’s asking where sm1 named nahida is while all the mushrooms start talking to him

-you just laughed, and it caught attention of all of them as they turned and blinked

-“he brought a girl!” One of them yelled before everyone repeated “A GIRL!”

-they all leaned down and someone pushed you as you rolled over all of them and they threw you into his arms

-it’s not until one of the mushrooms starts to speak when you both realize what’s happening

-“do you, Y/N, take Alhaitham to be your truthfully wedded-“

“Wait what?”

“Your getting married.”

-suddenly you let out a wince and fall, your body turning as cold as ice as another strand of hair turns white

-when you fall he’s holding you in his ice and the commotion sends nahida running over

-she checks over you and says your life is in danger because there is ice in your heart

-if not removed, you’ll turn into ice.

-when Alhaitham asks if she can remove it she says no and that only an act of true love can solve it

-Alhaitham dattes crying you and he holds you while Tighnari takes him to Sumeru, saying you need to kiss Childe

-little did you know Childe is currently hunting down your sister

-she almost kills him but wtv

-someone tried to shoot her and somehow she went unconscious idk how to explain it but she wakes up back in Sumeru but she’s chained up

-like there’s protective shit over her hands so she can’t use her magic

-she’s in a dungeon in sumeru

-okay back to you guys

-omg he’s holding you while your both on tighnari who’s jumping his way to the kingdom and when Alhaitham hears you shiver he takes his hat off and puts it on you and it’s so cute

-he carries you into the castle and when your asking if he’s okay he tells you “not to worry about him”

-once the gates to the castle open he tells the workers who take you to get prince Childe and then Alhaitham walks away sad because literally did you know he was kinda sad cuz he liked you

-but your engaged so he can’t do anything

-your taken into a room with Childe and your like “kiss me”

-and he’s like “what?!”

-you explain the whole thing to him and how your sister struck you and shit and you’ll die if there is no act of true love towards you

-he carries you over to a couch by the fireplace, tryna warm you up

-“only an act of true love can save me.”

Childe’s eyes lit up. “True love’s kiss!” His hand slowly caressed your cheek then moved down to your chicken to grab it, leaning towards you.

He went in slowly, almost torturing you.

However,

“Oh Y/N.” He smirked, “if only if there was someone out there who actually loved you.”

- he explains he’s 11th in line for the thrown of his kingdom and he wants to be king

-so he thought marrying you would make him king here

-but now that your about to die and your sister refuses to be queen

-he can now lie and say you put him in charge and he’ll be king

-The betrayal-

-he starts to take out all the fire in the room, all while degrading you and saying how pathetic it was to wanna marry him after one day

-he grabs water and takes out the fire in the room, making you go cold

-he says he’s gonna kill Elsa yeah yeah wtv

-he locks you in the room and your hair has fully turned white now and your close to dying

-Childe walks into a room, faking his sadness and saying your DEAD.

-Now that he’s in charge he says your sister committed treason and his sentence is death

-meanwhile Alhaitham is waking away but a sudden ice storm surrounds the kingdom and he’s SPRINTING BACK

-your sister managed to escape before the guards came to grab her so now it’s a whole new problem

-meanwhile KAVEJ COMES TO YOUR RESCUE!

-he unlocks the door and lights the fireplace and your yelling at him to get away because he’s MELTING

-he helps you over to the fireplace to keep you warm all while you tell him what happened

-kaveh said he won’t leave until you find another act of love

“Love is putting someone else’s needs in front of theirs instead of their own. Like how Alhaitham brought you back to Childe and left.”

-and you realized that ALHAITHAM DID DO THAY

-BABY HE IS IN LOVE

-“your so dumb.” Kaveh said.

-suddenly a window bursts open and he goes to look outside when he closes it

-HE YELLS THAY ALHAOTHAM IS COMING BACK!!

-“man I guess Alhaitham doesn’t love you enough to leave you behind.”

-you make Kaveh help you up even though your dying

-you said you love Alhaitham and you NEED HIM TO LIVE

Summary: One is shackled to an arranged marriage, the other to a cursed dagger. Can these star-crossed lovers find a path to their happily ever after.

There was something about the first snowfall that made him strangely sentimental. With his duties done for the day, he found himself strolling the unfamiliar snowy grounds of Avonlea. Memories long ago but not forgotten took root within his heart. Closing his eyes, he recalled the sound of Baelfire’s laughter with his tiny cheeks tinted red with winter air.

So lost in the past, the Dark One gasped as a cold and sudden impact hit the back of his head. He spun quick his magic pulsing ready to obliterate the threat but paused when his eyes landed upon the solitary figure of a young woman bent over forming another ball of snow in her gloved hands.

“Lefou, I told you what would happen if you came spying…” the words died on her lips as she stood. Her blue eyes went as big as saucers as they landed upon his cold stare. Her pert pink lips tugged down at the corners in a mortified frown, as the newly formed snowball fell from her hand.

“You’re not Lefou.”

“Indeed, I am not,” his voice was as clear and brisk as the air around them. He waited for her to either flee or grovel, but instead a giggle erupted from her.

“I’m sorry,” she held her hand to her mouth trying and failing to suppress her laughter. “The one thing my father was most insistent upon was to stay clear from the Dark One, and here I am declaring a snow war on him.”

He stared at the beauty in the green cloak before him. He had seen her once before, the day he and the duke arrived at the request of Sir Maurice two days prior.

“Please,” she spoke slowly taking a few steps towards him. “Let me make it up to you.” His feet stayed rooted, even as he had the sudden urge to flee as she moved closer. “How about a warm drink?”

He looked down as an ancient feeling of shyness overtook him. Lifting his gaze, he recognized a warm determination in her eyes, and it somehow excited him. Carefully as though she was afraid to scare him off, she reached up, brushing the remnants of the snow from his hair.

“This way,” she whispered and all too soon she was walking away from him. After a few steps, she turned back towards him, a glitter of hope in her eyes. “Aren’t you coming?”

He nodded dumbly knowing that if she kept looking at him like that, he would follow her to the underworld if she asked.

She leads him to a poorly constructed hovel on the outskirts of the grounds. He assumes it was once an outpost for patrolling guards but is utterly perplexed as to why she is taking him there. His confusion unravels as she opens the wooden door to reveal the warmth of a tiny fireplace, and an overstuffed reading chair. Gesturing for him to take a seat, she silently makes her way to the fire where a small kettle dangles above it.

For two hundred years, he has existed in this world with humans, he the infamous Dark One. He was feared, despised, and although he had been foolish enough to allow his dagger to fall into the hands of the Duke of the Front lands, he was still a deadly force to be reckoned with. And yet here he sat, his stomach full of nerves as she approached him with a cup.

He sniffed the tea his magic deeming it safe for consumption. Taking a small sip, he let the slightly sweet liquid swirl in his mouth before swallowing. He watched as she took a seat on the footstool near him, taking a drink from her own cup. Enthralled by the shape of her lips, he foolishly wondered what the pressure of them would feel like on his skin.

Trying to regain self-control he forced his eyes away from her and to a book lying on the floor next to the chair.

“Have you read it?” she asks, placing her cup down and lifting the book to her chest. “It’s one of my favorites.”

“Oh yes, I knew the author,” he said nonchalantly as her brows furrowed in confusion.

“Her Handsome Hero is over a hundred years old.”

He quirked an eyebrow at her, as she leaned in closer. “How old are you?” she asked before quickly sitting back realizing her blunder of social grace. “I’m sorry,” she spoke softly looking down at her skirt.

“Father says I have too curious of a mind.”

“Better a curious mind, than a closed one,” he countered trying to ease her worried eyes. When she smiled, he felt an undying desire to see that smile for the rest of his days.

Whether it was the warmth of their meager surroundings, or the company of another radiating such light and innocence, he smiled in remembrance of the life he led before the curse.

All too soon the sun gave way to the stars, and he felt a sudden concern for her safety, suggesting it was time for her to return to the castle. He tried to ignore the disappointment in her eyes, as she stood, escorting him out of her secret hideaway.

She spoke her voice etched in hope.

“I’m here almost every day, if you ever get lonely.” X

Lady Belle, daughter of Lord Maurice of Avonlea had grown up without a mother. Being the first and only child of her father, carried a heavy burden. She was well aware growing up if she had been a son, she would have been revered and accepted inexplicably, but since she was just a lowly daughter, she did not give much meaning in the daily life of her father, or the kingdom of Avonlea.

It was her duty as his obedient daughter to keep herself pure and prepare to be a good wife and mother one day. Her father voiced his disapproval of her constant reading, fearing she may scare off suitors with being too smart.

Although she pretended to be servile, on the inside she was bursting with a love for knowledge and ideas of a life where she decided her own fate. She loved the outdoors, as the freshness in the air always made her feel more alive. It was during one spring day, that she had stumbled upon the old guards’ post, and bribed the stable boy with treats from the kitchen to drag her favorite reading chair out to the abandoned hideout.

When she wasn’t occupied with her mundane duties, she found solace outside the palace lost in the adventures of a good book.

Her father had thought she was old enough on her last birthday for marriage. Belle wasn’t naïve enough to think that she may one day be given to a man whose ideals on women rivaled her fathers, but she still felt an immense disappointment with the choice, of Gaston Legume, a great hunter, known by the kingdom for his prowess in battle, as well as a salacious appetite for booze and women.

Belle wanted to feel something for her betrothed, but his arrogance and cruelty eclipsed all hope. It didn’t help that he often sent his lackey, Lefou, to spy and report back to him of any perceived misdoings of his future wife.

None the less her father, thought him worthy of her hand. It was a blessing and a curse when the first ogre attack on an allied kingdom halted all wedding plans, as every abled bodied man went to battle.

As the ogre attacks became more frequent and nearer to Avonlea, Belle could sense the fear growing in her father. She sat silently by his side, listening intently, as the strategists spoke of Avolnea’s impending doom.

A week later as news of sickness and starvation on the battlefields reached her father’s ears, she learned of his decision to call upon the Duke of the Front lands for help. It was not the Duke who would stop this war, but the powerful weapon that he wielded, The Dark One.

Silence echoed the great hall, as the Duke, and the cloaked dark figure arrived a few days later. Although she was excluded from attending the meeting, she heard through the whispers of the castle that a deal had been struck between the Duke and her father, the safety of the kingdoms in exchange for money and political power.

She was forced to keep to her own quarters, her father forbidding her from any contact with the Duke and Dark One. She felt like a prisoner in her own home, and after a full week of eating her meals in her room, she needed fresh air, and the first snowfall was too enticing to resist.

It was not her intent to disobey her father when she accidentally pelted the Dark One with a snowball. And it was not demure, she knew, to lay in bed that night, thinking of him as she sought her own pleasure.

The next morning, she quickly ate her breakfast alone, before sneaking off to her hidden oasis with a glimmer of hope that she would see him again. She tried distracting herself but for once in her life her books failed to capture her thoughts away from him. Her breath hitched when she heard the pacing of footsteps outside the door.

The footsteps stopped for a brief moment soon followed by a muttering, and then resumed once again. She took a deep breath, smoothing down the front of her dress, before starting her own pacing in the tiny room. It was entirely improper she knew for a promised woman to meet with another man alone, and if anyone found out it would incite a scandal above her wildest imagination, but she had never felt such a raw intense connection than she did towards him.

She shifted the cooling teapot, taking down two teacups and placing them on the small table, before sitting down on her cushioned chair that faced the door. Closing her eyes, she tried to calm her hummingbird heart, when the sudden knock on the door startled her.

With a rising flush and knots in her stomach, she opened the door, to find him humbly fidgeting before her.

Out of pure habitual instinct, she bobbed a small curtsy. She waited for him to speak, but it appeared that nerves had silenced his tongue. She suddenly knew that if she wanted this, truly wanted this, she would need to take the lead.

“Would you like a warm drink?” she asked with an assuring smile that his presence was most welcome.

He nodded seriously as if the invitation was of the utmost importance.

“I would like that very much.”

As he stepped over the threshold, Belle felt a sense of calm finality slide over her. A choice had been made at that moment, and she knew that her heart and life would never be the same. X

The Dark One was in love. He had lost his heart and soul to her the moment their eyes met those two months ago on the day of the first snowfall. She had given him hope, where previously he just felt despair, love where there was only emptiness, laughter where there had been sadness, and the promise of a future, where there had only been memories of a sad and lonely past.

They shared the duality of a life with no free will. Hers, by an arranged marriage, and his by a cursed dagger. Although she could speak freely of her own confinement, he had no such luxury. With such an inquisitive mind, it did not take her long to realize that all of her questions regarding the Duke’s power over him, could not be answered.

The Duke, much to his credit, had learned from the mistakes of previous predecessors. Once in possession, he commanded the Dark One to never speak of the dagger to another living soul and forbade the Dark One to hurt him in anyway.

But even with a word muttered, his brilliant, beautiful beauty, figured the Duke held something over him, when one too many times, he would unwillingly vanish in mid conversation with her, only to appear beside the Duke.

Although his time with her was precious, he still had to dedicate much of his magic and energy to ending the ogre wars. Although the Duke promised Lord Maurice to end them, the enemy never cooperates with defeat. The Dark One had supplied magic and weapons, but it was still up to the soldiers to take the fundamentals and win the war. Fortunately, it appeared that the majority of ogres had now been slaughtered, and the stragglers were retreating. As a celebration Lord Maurice announced a banquet in the honor of the Duke, the savior of the lands.

Rumpelstiltskin hated parties, or banquets, or whatever the rich called them these days. He hated them with passion. His antisocial tendencies were all in full display, as he stood alone against the backwall, a scowl upon his face. The attendees gave him a wide berth, with not a one daring to make eye contact with him…well except for one. Outwardly he seemed perfectly calm, bored even, but inwardly his desire was aflame.

As hard as he tried his treacherous eyes stared at his beauty in her green velvet dress that clung to every curve of her body. Gods, he wanted her. So entranced by her figure, he had failed to notice Lord Maurice and the Duke rising to make a toast.

He only half listened as the men fed their own egos about winning a war, that neither had fought, but when he heard Belle’s name mentioned, his back straightened at attention.

“There is no greater honor for me to announce the engagement of Lady Belle and the Duke of the Front lands.”

His eyes darted to Belle, her face white with shock as the cup she held fell from her fingers. He stood motionless, his anger beckoning him to strike the Duke down with the darkest of his magic, but the cursed submission placed on him kept him in place. X It was he who was awaiting her arrival the next morning at their hideout. His stomach lurched when he saw her approach, her eyes dried but rimmed in a swollen red. Without hesitation he lunged forward, twining the fingers of his hand around her waist as she tightly wrapped her arms around his neck, burying her head in his shoulder.

She drew in a shaky breath. “I can’t believe this is happening. He’s annulled the engagement to Gaston and has set my wedding to the Duke for three days’ time” He could feel her head shaking against his collarbone. “I have to leave tonight; I can’t go through with this.”

“You can’t go anywhere.”

The moment the order left his lips, she tore away from him, pinning him with a sharp blue gaze. He should have known, should have suspected that this beautiful brave creature before him would fight for her own fate. In spite of her hope, the Duke was just too strong with the dagger in his possession.

Her best laid plans would go awry the moment the Duke learned of her absence. He would be ordered to hunt her down or worse kill her. She couldn’t leave, and it was all his damn fault. Rumple choked on that thought, as an onset of tears blurred his vision. He had never cried before another.

“If you leave, he will make me hurt you,” Rumple choked out between sobs.

She brushed her thumb against the soft skin under his eyes, wiping away his tears. Biting her lip, she looked away for a moment, but only a moment, before her pleading teary eyes looked into his own.

“If I have to marry him, then let my first time be with someone I love.”

His heart stopped at her words. She loved him, and he loved her, Gods did he love her. Before he could think better of it, his hands traced down her ribs, settling on the curves of her waist. Slowly he moved, their bodies swaying to the music of his beating heart. He brought his lips to hers, plucking kisses from her mouth, as his fingers plucked at the ribbon tied on the back of her dress. Slowly carefully he turned her around as he unlaced the ribbon, peppering every new exposed inch of her bare back until the dress fell to the floor.

She reached her hand behind her and touched his green glittery skin, running her fingers down his side, across his hip to the top of his thigh. He shivered as her fingers brushed perilously close to his erection. She pressed herself backwards into him, and he was rocked hard against her. He buried his face into the side of her neck, kissing her, while caressing her breast gently with his hand. She let out a moan, and he wanted nothing more in life than to be buried inside of her. He started to edge his other hand down her waist, when his body went rigid. He was being summoned.

“I love…” he cried out before vanishing. X

Rumpelstiltskin was a coward. A heartbroken, weak foolish coward. Any other man would fight for the woman they loved, and here he was, standing in the shadows of her engagement party. They had not spoken since he had been summoned away earlier that morning, when he had her half naked in his arms. That moment between them was easily the most precious moment of his life, but to see her now was like a poison to his veins. How was he to live with her so near to him, but yet so far away?

Every look Belle cast his way during the dinner told him that her heart truly belonged to him, but he could never have it as long as the Duke was alive. Fate held them both prisoners to a man whose cruelty was far worse than his own.

Murmurs turned into shouting, and then screams. The Dark One turned his attention to a tall war-torn man in armor barging past the guards.

“It’s Gaston,” the dark one heard a nearby patron exclaim. So, this was the man Belle had been previously betrothed too.

Gaston hastily shoved his way forward, brandishing a sword.

“This is an outrage. Lady Belle belongs to me. How dare you do this to me why I have been fighting your war!”

The dagger summoned and, in a flash, he stood before Gaston, his hand wrapped tightly around his neck as the unfortunate fool dangled three feet above the ground. With one swift motion his head dangled like a snapped bud of rose, as screams of terror echoed through the hall. Rumple could taste the fear in the air as the darkness relished in it. Throwing the limp body to the ground, he willed his eyes to glance at Belle, whose stare was fixed not upon him, but on the Duke who smiled like a Cheshire cat.

“Does anyone else have any objections?” the Duke taunted, as the Dark One spun in a circle his glowing yellow irises scanning the silent crowd.

“Good,” the Duke quipped before lifting the turkey leg and continuing his dinner.

Rumpelstiltskin accompanied the Duke back to his bedchambers, ensuring his safe arrival. The Duke, in a tipsy state, was rattling on about some blonde server that he wanted sent to his bed chambers, when a knock came on the door.

“Answer it,” the Duke commanded, and Rumpelstiltskin breath hitched as a scantily clad Belle stood before him. He shook his head in disbelief, believing that he was dreaming, but as he reached out his trembling hand and placed it on her shoulder, he realized she was very real.

“What are you doing?” he asked merely above a whisper, but her eyes stayed locked on the ground.

“What I must,” she replied pushing past him and into the Duke’s room.

Rumpelstiltskin was enraged and jealous. Clearly her father had sent her here in this state of dress as a peace offering for the dinner’s unexpected visitor. His body shook with rage, as the Duke ordered him away.

The darkness fell as a hush upon him, as he transported himself to the grounds below the Duke’s tower. He took a breath, and then another, but the pain in his heart did not diminish. Flickers of light beckoned from the tower window above, as the thoughts of her being in the arms of the Duke suffocated his soul.

He hated the Duke, almost as much as he hated himself. Every muscle in his small frame burned urging him to burst in the chambers, and end the Duke once and for all, but the damned curse kept him at bay.

He remembered holding her in his arms, her flesh flushed and warm, and the taste of her mouth. He should have been her first…her only.

He had started to weep, when a sudden flash of release shot through his spine. In an instant he found himself back in the Duke’s bedchamber, as a bloodied Belle stood before him, with a familiar jagged dagger in her hand. X

She had seen it. While the crowd fixated on her betrothed in the claws of the Dark One, she had seen the silvery shine of a blade peaking out of the Duke’s cloak, as he laid his right hand over it. For months she had scoured every book, every story trying to decipher what caged Rumple, and now she knew.

The rest of the dinner was held in silence, but after that it was only a short sprint to her room, as she shut the door firmly behind her. Shedding her golden dress, she made a bee line to her closet, picking out the appropriate attire for a seduction, her summer nightgown cut low enough to show an immodest amount of cleavage. As night fell, she requested the mulled wine from the kitchen, the staff giving her looks of pity, no doubt believing she would be drowning her grief with the sweet connection.

She stopped before the ornate gold mirror that hung on the wall across from the Duke’s quarters. As she peered at the mirror, her throat tensed as she took a nervous swallow. This was not a fight she could afford to lose. Mustering all of her bravery, she held the jug in one hand, and knocked with the other.

When the door swung open, she had not expected to see Rumple before her, a surprised confusion laced in his eyes. The familiar voice of the Duke bounced off the walls behind him, as she made her way into the room.

She could feel the intensity of his stare, as the Duke roamed his eyes over her. No matter how sternly her heart wanted Rumple near, she knew he had to be far away from her, from them, for her to have any chance of success. Her worry that the Duke would so willingly fall prey to her feminine wilds was quickly extinguished as he wrapped both of his filthy hands around her waist, as she placed the jug of wine down on the table. She tried to ignore the rage in Rumple’s eyes as the Duke commanded him to leave.

“Now, Now, sire,” she playfully chided as his lips fell heavy onto the back of her neck. Turning, she placed a hand on his chest. “My lord, I’m afraid that I still must remain pure for our wedding night, but..” she cast her eyes down towards his groin. “There are other ways I can bring you pleasure tonight.”

Her skin crawled as his foul breath invaded her air. “Go make yourself comfortable on the bed my lord,” she commanded with a sultry tone. Her eyes stayed locked on the reflection of the balcony doors, as she watched him tuck an object under the mattress before taking his place on the bed.

She poured the wine, and sauntered towards the bed, cup in hand. She was only a few steps away, when his hand snatched out, tightly grasping her wrist, spilling the wine, and forcing her on the floor before him. He glared down with her with dark eyes and Gods did she hate him.

He laid back on the bed, as the room filled with the soft clang of his belt buckle being undone.

Unconsciously her fingers tightened in loose fists, as she took a calming breath. She had read the stories since a child, of the handsome knight swooping in to save the damsel in distress, but this, this was the real world. She had to be her own hero for herself and for Rumple. Darkness and light, good and evil were not as clear in these moments. He needed her, and for him she would fight and face their unknown destiny.

What she had learned over the last few months in falling in love with Rumple was that darkness was not all that bad. Darkness was everywhere, in everybody, and it needed only to be feared when it grew so strong that it obscured the light. She relaxed her hands, slipping one under the mattress until it felt the cool steel blade. The darkness within her would bring about salvation, while the Duke’s only brought destruction.

She prayed there was enough light in her heart, to make this dark action alright, as she quickly pulled the blade out from its hiding place. The Duke thrusted upright, his body lunging forward, as the cold steel of the dagger sliced through the flesh of his throat.

Warm splatches of liquid spurted on her face and in her hair, as his last breaths gurgled bloodily from his mouth. Stumbling to her feet, she had only a second alone with her thought, when she heard her name from afar.

Turning she laid her eyes upon her love, holding his captor in her bloody hands. Closing her eyes, she extended the dagger before him, feeling the dark tendrils uncurl from her heart.

“From this moment forward, you chose your own fate Rumpelstiltskin.”

He rushed towards her, but instead of his hand reaching for the dagger she was willingly offering, he bent his head and kissed her hard on the lips. He tugged at the shoulders of her nightgown, as she wriggled obliquely out of it, before he tossed it across the room, as their blood-stained bodies tumbled to the floor. Everything happened all at once, as his words of love, and kisses, and thrusts that made her cry out in pain and pleasure filled the room, all the while the Duke’s dead body lay in the bed above them. One year later

Rumpelstiltskin’s love for Belle was deep, intense, and unshakable. On that fateful night one year ago, after she was unashamedly his, and he unashamedly hers, he had proudly displayed the dead Duke’s body on the dining table of the great hall, letting the town assume that it was he that murdered him.

Belle’s father, clearly seeing that the Dark One was now in control, readily agreed that in exchange for the continued safety of Avonlea, the fearsome Dark One could have his daughter for whatever purposes he saw fit.

The young woman who the village of Avonlea mourned for when she left with him that day, stirred beside him, murmuring softly in her sleep. They had spent the last year traveling and exploring the realms of every land her heart desired. He slipped his arms around her, enjoying the feel of her soft bare skin against his hands. He nuzzled her dark hair, breathing in the scent of his lover, and their recent lovemaking.

She mumbled something he didn’t bother to decipher as she wriggled around to face him. Her blue eyes slit open as she sleepily slid her arms around his neck. He moved his lips to kiss her, but her attention drew to the window.

“It’s the first snowfall, Rumple,” she excitedly exclaimed as she moved her naked body to stand by the window frame. Rumple stayed in bed, simply folding his arms behind his head and letting his eyes slide over the gently curves of her body, reveling in the fact that everything he saw was his. When he saw she made no move to budge, he rose, and slipped his arms around her shoulders, and kissed her temple.

“Thinking of hitting me with another snowball dearest?” he teased.

She turned with a smug smile over her lips. “I was maybe considering it.”

Slowly he kissed a trail up her neck, nibbling at her earlobe. “There are better ways to spend our time,” he murmured backing her to the edge of the bed as they tumbled back. Later he would take her out in the snow, but for now he wanted to relish her in his arms.

There was something about the first snowfall that made him strangely sentimental.

There is no canon indication that Belle is socially rejected for being smart

She IS smart, that's just not what the other people in town mention when talking about how weird she is.*

What seems to make the townsfolk uncomfortable, and what makes Belle feel superior the them, is that she's imaginative.

The opening song and its reprise have Belle singing about how she longs for the excitement of adventure and new experiences, which she can currently only get vicariously through books, and that she "wants much more than this provincial life", in a "little town full of little people" who are content to live out the same comfortable routines every day.

Fun fact, Gaston's concern that Belle's constant reading would lead to "getting ideas and thinking" (the main anti-intellectualism scene in the film) can also be interpreted to reflect an actual historical moral panic. Hypothesis: most of the adults in town have been watching Belle ever since Maurice's 'harmless lunatic' reputation was established, wondering if she inherited her father's madness. Exactly none of her behaviour has reassured them, even before the thing with the Beast.

Yeah, I enjoyed:

Alice in Wonderland (2010) Cinderella (2015) Beauty and the Beast (2017) Christopher Robin (2018) That's it. 1. I love Alice in Wonderland (the book, and the story in general). It's special to me. Burton's Alice is an actual, genuine sequel film supposed to take place years after the events in Alice's in Wonderland. It borrows elements from the novels Disney didn't fit in in the animated version, and it brought together creative minds who were perfect for bringing Lewis Carroll's Wonderland to life in fresh ways. I like Alice in it in particular; Alice is the only female character I will tolerate people calling a 'feminism icon' or any variant of that, and in this movie, my reasons why are on full display. I could elaborate, but that would take too long, so I won't. I love Alice in Burton's movie; she's book-accurate to a T, right down to the wild mane of hair from the original illustrations, and having her champion Wonderland and rekindle her 'muchness' was a perfect character arc for an older Alice. Again, could elaborate, again, not going to. 2. Cinderella (2015) is a national treasure and there's nothing wrong with it. Nothing. It's exactly as colorful, magical, and moral as it ought to be. The writing is exquisite, the simplicity of the theme "have courage and be kind" is so well-done, and again, perfectly cast. If you're going to remake an animated classic, this is how it's done. Take the best points of the original story and expand on it; try to make it even brighter. A++. 3. Let me be clear. Let me explain about Beauty and the Beast (2017). I would rather watch the original, animated BatB every single time. I only included this film on my list because I like snow, and I like the new songs, and I like the costumes (except Belle Watson's dress, put that zipper AWAY-) and I like Ewan McGregor, and I like Emma Thompson, and I like Dan Stevens. It's a feast for the eyeballs and the ear holes, sort of like the original (but nothing even close to the original). I won't duck my head and act like I didn't have fun with this film when it first came out, or like I wouldn't turn it on late at night if it was snowing outside and I had a fire going. In the right mood, I would. Visually appealing. Musically delightful. Everything else about it is garbage, and a waste of time. I spit upon it all. Emma Watson played a plank of wood in a dress whining about women, the Beast's character arc deserved more, Gaston should have been worse, Lefou was a joke, no. No. Ew, ew, ew.

4. Christopher Robin (2018) was an actual sequel, like Alice, and everyone should watch it. Everyone should make their favorite warm drink and go get a blanket and watch it. Again, nothing wrong with it. Absolutely wonderful from start to finish. Pooh is himself, Piglet is himself, they're all themselves. All of them. And Ewan McGregor was stellar. The theme, the execution, the pacing, genuinely a flawless love letter to everything about Winnie the Pooh, and Disney's version of Pooh, and the whole Hundred Acre Wood, including the ones we all had when we were children. Exactly what it should have been. No notes. A++. Yes! I enjoyed those. Had fun with those. None of the others.

He actively calls them disappointments to their faces. When they do things he DOES like he says it.

When Darry does well in a fight, or somehow gets a girl to like him without fumbling, Gaston will slap him on the back and be all “yeah those are my genes for sure”

But if they do something he dislikes, he can probably get very threatening. Look at the way Gaston treats lefou, for example. He pals around with him until he does the wrong thing. Then they are very much no longer pals

Gaston sees his kids as an extension of him, so if they do things like read or be sensitive, he takes that as an attack on his character

What are the differences between the movie and the Beauty and the Beast story?

By "the movie," I assume you mean Disney's animated classic.

This comparison is much, much longer than the one I wrote for Cinderella, because Disney's Beauty and the Beast is much more dramatically different than traditional versions of the story. I'm sharing most of it under a cut, because it's very long...

*In the traditional story, we don't meet the Beast until Beauty's father meets him, and we don't learn that he's really an enchanted prince until the very end. The Disney version has a prologue telling the story of how the Prince was turned into a Beast and how the spell can be broken, so we know all along, even though Belle doesn't.

*In the traditional story, the heroine is nicknamed "Beauty" (or "la Belle" in French) because she's so beautiful. In the Disney version, her name is Belle.

*In the story, Beauty's father is a merchant who starts out very wealthy and living in a city, but through a series of disasters he loses his fortune, forcing the family to move to a poor cottage in the country. In the Disney version, Belle's father Maurice is an inventor, and they're peasants from the beginning.

*Beauty has older sisters in the story: five sisters in some earlier versions, but usually just two in modern retellings. In earlier versions she usually has brothers too, who love her in contrast to her sisters' jealousy and spite, but most modern retellings cut them. In the Disney version, Belle is an only child.

*In most versions of the story, Beauty has no particular passion for reading, although she does enjoy it; the Beast's library is just one of her "amusements" at the castle. Only Madame de Beaumont's retelling makes her a constant bookworm. In the Disney version, obviously drawing on Beaumont's version, Belle's love for books is a defining aspect of her character.

*Beauty also loves music in most of the early versions of the story, and is a talented musician. In addition to the library, the Beast's castle delights her with a room full of musical instruments, or at least with her own harpsichord (Beautmont's version). Disney's Belle never plays an instrument and is never associated with music (although she does sing, of course), just with books.

*In some versions of the story, like Beaumont's, Beauty becomes almost a Cinderella figure in poverty, doing all the housework and cooking for her family because her sisters are too lazy to do anything. Disney's Belle is never in Cinderella circumstances.

*In the story, Beauty and her family's cottage is at the edge of the forest, and we never learn if they have any neighbors or not. At any rate, their relationship with their neighbors is never shown, just the interactions within the family. In the Disney version, Belle and Maurice live in a small village, some distance from the forest, and the other villagers play an important role. They effectively replace Beauty's sisters, as the people whom Belle doesn't fit in among and who serve as a negative contrast to her.

*The story's main villains are Beauty's sisters, though exactly how villainous they are depends on the version. The Disney version on the other hand, has a new villain: Gaston, a handsome and wildly popular yet arrogant and boorish man who wants Belle as his trophy wife, but whose proposal she rejects near the beginning. Gaston's sidekick Lefou and the three "Bimbettes" who adore him obviously don't exist in the original story either.

(Beaumont's version of the story does feature a few men who serve a similar purpose to Gaston, though. First, Beauty has several suitors who propose to her near the beginning, but she turns them down, in this case because she can't bear to leave her father in his poverty. Later. Beauty's two sisters marry, and one husband is a handsome yet arrogant man, while the other a witty man who cruelly mocks everyone, in contrast to the ugly and unsophisticated yet kind-hearted Beast. They don't take an active role in the plot, though, but just make the sisters more jealous of Beauty.)

*Beauty and Belle are very different characters in some ways. Beauty resolves to make the best of life as a peasant, and learns to be content with her simple life of housework, books, music, and caring for her family. This makes her a misfit among her bored, unhappy sisters, who long for their old life of wealth and glamor. Belle, on the other hand, is bored and discontented with her provincial life, and longs to have adventures rather than just reading about them. This is what makes her a misfit among the villagers, who are content with their practical workaday world. These different qualities foreshadow each heroine's ability to love the Beast in different ways: for Beauty, it's her ability to make the best of bad situations and find happiness in unlikely places, while for Belle it's her "outside the box" personality and desires, and her ability to relate to a fellow outcast.

*In the story, the father's journey away from home is to reclaim one of his cargo ships, which was thought to have sunk but which has come back to port. In the Disney version, Maurice's journey is to show off his latest invention, a wood-chopping machine, at a fair.

*In the story, before the father sets out on his journey, his older daughters beg him to bring back all sorts of expensive presents, but selfless Beauty asks for only a rose. Later, at the Beast's castle, just as the father is about to leave, he picks a rose from the garden for Beauty, and this theft is what earns the Beast's anger. None of this happens in the Disney version; the Beast just gets angry that Maurice trespasses into his castle.

*In the story, the father reaches the city only to find that his former partners have already seized the ship's cargo, and then gets lost in the woods on the way home. In the Disney version, Maurice never reaches the fair, but gets lost in the woods on the way there.

*In the story, the father is driven to seek shelter in the castle by a snowstorm. In the Disney version, Maurice is first attacked by wolves, then caught in a rainstorm.

*In the story, the Prince was changed into a Beast by a wicked fairy: in the original novella by Madame de Villeneuve because he refused to marry her, but for no specific reason in most other versions. At any rate, it was through no fault of his own. In the Disney version, he was transformed by an "Enchantress" as punishment for his own selfishness and cruelty – she came to the castle on a winter's night, disguised as an ugly old beggar woman seeking shelter, and he turned her away.

*In the story, the Beast's curse will be broken when a beautiful maiden consents to marry him. In the Disney version, it will be broken when he learns to love another and earns their love in return.

*Both the story and the Disney version include an important rose. In the story, it's the rose the father steals. In the Disney version, the Enchantress left the Beast with an enchanted rose, which will bloom until he turns twenty-one, then wilt. The Beast has only until the last petal falls to break the spell, and if he fails, he'll be a Beast forever.

*In most versions of the story, the Beast is alone in his castle, with no need for servants due to the castle's magic. Some versions feature mute, non-sapient monkeys and birds who act as servants to Beauty, though, while other retellings imply that the Beast does have servants but that they're invisible. In the Disney version, the Beast has a staff of servants, who have been changed into moving, talking household objects by the Enchantress: chief among them are Lumiere, the maître'd-turned-candelabrum, Cogsworth, the majordomo-turned-clock, Mrs. Potts, the housekeeper-turned-teapot, and her little teacup son Chip. They serve as constant companions to both the Beast and Belle at the castle, provide gentle comic relief, and give the Beast advice on how to win Belle's heart.

*In traditional versions of the story, the castle is brightly lit, sumptuously beautiful, and cheerful in appearance. In the Disney version, the castle was once "shining," but the Enchantress's spell makes it look gloomy, Gothic and forbidding, especially by night when Maurice and later Belle first arrive. Its beauties are gradually revealed as Belle learns to be happy there, though, and in the end, when the spell is broken, it's fully restored to its former glory.

*Related to the above, in several versions of the story, the weather surrounding the castle is always spring-like, even when the forest beyond is filled with snow. But in the Disney version, it rains and snows at the castle like anywhere else. (In fact the 2017 live-action remake – which otherwise I'm not mentioning here – goes in the opposite direction of the traditional tale, and has the castle grounds always covered in snow, even in summer, until the spell breaks.)

*In the story, the father spends a comfortable night in the castle, with the magic providing him good food, a bed, and new clothes. The Beast later implies that all this generosity was his doing, though he doesn't show himself to the father until the latter steals the rose the next morning. In the Disney version, Lumiere and Mrs. Potts welcome Maurice into the castle and serve him tea, despite Cogsworth's objections that the Beast will disapprove, and sure enough, no sooner is Maurice comfortable than the angry Beast appears.

*In the story, the Beast threatens to kill the father for stealing his rose, but when the father explains why he took it, the Beast agrees to spare him on one condition: that one of his daughters willingly comes to the castle and takes his place. The father ride home, planning to say goodbye to his children and then go back to the castle alone. But when he tells them what happened, Beauty resolves to sacrifice herself for her father. She finally persuades her reluctant father to take her to the castle, where the Beast welcomes her and sends her father home again. In the Disney version, the Beast locks Maurice in the castle dungeon. But Maurice's horse Philippe runs home to Belle, and she has him take her to the castle. There she finds her father in prison, and when the Beast arrives on the scene, Belle offers to take his place. The Beast agrees and forcibly sends Maurice home.

(To reiterate: In the story, the father/daughter exchange is the Beast's idea and the father reluctantly agrees to it when Beauty insists. In the Disney version, the exchange is Belle's idea, and the deal is entirely between Belle and the Beast, giving Maurice no choice.)

*In traditional versions of the story, the father's horse comes with him to the castle, comes home again with him, takes both him and Beauty back to the castle, and then takes the father home. In the Disney version, Philippe runs away in fear in the woods, but then brings Belle to the castle, and stays there with Belle from then on. The Beast sends Maurice home in a strange magical carriage.

*In the story, both the first and second times the Beast sends the father home, he provides him with trunks full of gold and valuable gifts for his children. This restores the family to wealth and lets them move back to the city during Beauty's time at the castle. He provides similar gifts for Beauty to take to her family when she visits them too. In the Disney version, the Beast never gives Maurice or Belle any riches to take home.

*Apart from his threat to kill the father, the traditional Beast is kind, gentle, and polite from the start, is always respectful to Beauty, and always behaves like a human man. The chief character arc is Beauty's, as she loses her fear of him and learns to love him. In the Disney version, the Beast is initially selfish, rude, and ferocious-tempered, as well as semi-feral due to the spell, and at first he tries to control Belle. The chief character arc is his, as he learns to be kind, gentle, and caring, and as he re-learns human behavior and manners.

*Beauty fears the Beast at first, but never hates him, and is quick to realize that he isn't as terrible as he seems. Belle, with just cause, both fears and loathes the Beast at first, and it takes a very dramatic gesture on his part (see below) to change her mind.

*In the story, on Beauty's first night in the castle after her father leaves, Beauty is sitting down to dinner alone when the Beast enters, and very politely and deferentially asks to join her. She accepts, and they share a long, pleasant conversation that makes her realize his good nature. In the Disney version, the Beast orders Belle to join him for dinner, but she refuses. In a rage, he declares that if she doesn't eat with him, then she won't eat at all – though his servants ignore this command and serve her a magnificent private dinner – and friendship between them seems more impossible than ever.

*In the story, Beauty and the Beast's first dinner conversation is all she needs to start to view him as a friend. But Disney has a more dramatic turning point. Out of curiosity, Belle sneaks into the castle's west wing, the Beast's private lair, against his orders. There she finds the enchanted rose and almost touches it, but the Beast catches her, and he flies into such a terrifying rage that Belle runs away from the castle. Then in the forest, a pack of wolves attack her, but the Beast arrives just in time to rescue her, and is injured in doing so. In return, Belle helps him home and tends his wound, and after a last argument about whose fault the whole incident was, it's here that they start to become friends.

*In the story, every night after dinner, before the Beast leaves the table, he asks Beauty to marry him. Every night she refuses, which he sadly but graciously accepts. This is cut from the Disney version.

*The original Beast seems to love Beauty from the start; only she needs to learn to love him. Disney's Belle and Beast both need to learn to love each other: she for the obvious reasons, he because he's never loved anyone before. It's a more mutual process.

*In traditional versions of the story, Beauty dreams at night of a stately lady, who assures her that her future will be happy as long as she doesn't trust too much in appearances. At the end, this lady finally appears in person and is revealed to be a good fairy. (Except in Arthur Quiller-Couch's retelling, where she turns out to be the Prince's mother the Queen.) The Disney version cuts her.

*In some versions of the story, every night at the castle, Beauty dreams of a handsome Prince – the Beast's true form, unbeknownst to her – who declares that he loves her and that she must find him wherever he's hidden. While awake, she finds a bracelet containing the Prince's miniature portrait, and then his full-sized portrait in the castle gallery, and in the garden she finds the place where she always sees him in her dreams. This Disney version cuts this entire plot line (as did Beaumont's version of the story and many other retellings), although it does have Belle find a portrait of the Prince that's been slashed by the Beast's claws.

*In the story, the castle magically grants Beauty her every material desire, much like Cupid's house does for Psyche in their myth. The castle in the Disney version doesn't do this – Belle's needs are provided for by the enchanted object servants.

*In the story, Beauty spends most of her time at the castle alone, amusing herself in the castle's many luxurious rooms (e.g. the library, the music room, a sewing room, menageries, and in some versions, a magical room where each window shows her visions of theatre, parties, and fairs). She only sees the Beast at supper every night. In the Disney film, Belle spends her days with the Beast: they eat together, read together, feed the birds and play in the snow, and eventually share a dance in the ballroom.

*In the story, as I mentioned, the library is just one of the many pleasures that Beauty finds as she explores the castle. In the Disney version, the Beast reveals the library to Belle, and then tells her that from now on it belongs to her, in a meaningful scene that serves as another turning point in their bond.

*The magic mirror comes from Beaumont's version of the story: there it's in Beauty's room, and lets her see her father and siblings back at home every day. In the Disney version, the mirror belongs to the Beast, who doesn't show it to Belle until late in the action.

*Beauty's father accepts that the Beast is too strong and powerful to try to fight, and resigns himself to losing his daughter. Disney's Maurice spends Belle's entire time at the castle trying to go back and rescue her, first trying to rally the villagers, who only laugh at him, and then setting off alone.

*In some versions of the story, Beauty just asks permission to go home for a visit because she misses her family, while in others (e.g. Beaumont's) she goes back because she sees in the magic mirror that her father is sick with grief for her. In the Disney version, Belle sees in the mirror that Maurice is lost in the woods in a snowstorm and is sick from the cold, so the Beast lets her go to rescue him.

*In the story, Beauty's trip home is only meant to be temporary. She promises to come back after either a week (Beaumont's version) or two months (others), and the Beast warns her that if she doesn't, he'll die of grief. In Beaumont's version, he offers to let her go permanently, but she declines. In the Disney version, Belle's departure is meant to be permanent. The Beast's choice to let her go, even though he thinks it means he'll be trapped as a Beast forever, is the culmination of his growth from selfish to selfless and loving.

*Beauty is magically transported home: she just goes to sleep at the castle, then wakes up in her father's house. Later, she's transported back to the castle by a magic ring that the Beast gave her. Disney's Belle just rides home and back on her horse Philippe.

*The ways in which the Beast nearly dies are completely different. In the story, Beauty puts off her return to the castle, either because she can't bear to pain her father and brothers by leaving, or (in Beaumont's version) because her sisters shower her with fake affection and manipulate her into staying, in hope that the Beast will be so angry that he'll kill her when she comes back late. But eventually, she has a nightmare where she finds the Beast on the ground in the castle garden, dying of grief because he thinks she abandoned him. This drives her to finally go back. She spends the day amusing herself as usual, although too anxious to enjoy anything, but at dinner time, the Beast doesn't appear. She searches for him, and finds him dying on the ground in the garden, as in her dream. In the Disney version, Belle takes the sick Maurice home, only to find Gaston and the other villagers waiting to lock Maurice in an insane asylum because of his talk about the Beast. Gaston has arranged this to blackmail Belle into marrying him. In desperation to prove her father's sanity, Belle uses the magic mirror, which the Beast gave her as a parting gift, to show the Beast to the villagers. The villagers are terrified, and when Belle tries to assure them of his goodness, Gaston realizes that she's in love with the Beast. Out of jealousy, he whips the villagers into a frenzy of fear, and they form a mob to storm the castle and kill the Beast, using the magic mirror to find him. Belle and Maurice are locked in their cellar, but little Chip, who stowed away with Belle, uses Maurice's wood-chopping machine to free them, and they ride back to the castle to warn the Beast. But the mob gets there first, and while the servants fight off the other men, Gaston attacks the Beast on the castle rooftop. In his despair over losing Belle, the Beast doesn't fight back at first, but when Belle finally arrives, he gains the will to defend himself. When he has the chance to kill Gaston, however, he mercifully lets him go, and as he climbs to the balcony where Belle is to reunite with her, Gaston stabs him from behind.

*In most older versions of the story, Beauty finds the Beast unconscious and weeps over him, thinking he's dead, but then realizes he's still breathing and pours water on him, reviving him. Then they converse (and in some versions go into the castle and have dinner as usual, the Beast having recovered from near-death with remarkable speed), and once again, the Beast asks Beauty to marry him; this time, she says yes. In the Disney version, the mortally wounded Beast and Belle exchange a few last words, and then he apparently dies in her arms. Belle weeps over him and whispers "I love you" just as the last petal falls from the enchanted rose.

*In traditional versions the story, when the spell breaks, fireworks, cannons, and music resound, taking Beauty's attention from the Beast for a moment, and when she turns back to him, she finds him transformed into the Prince. The Disney version also includes fireworks, but the Beast magically rises into the air, where he slowly transforms and emits glowing light before Belle's eyes.

*In traditional versions of the story, the good fairy and/or the Prince's mother the Queen arrives at this point to explain everything and bless the young couple. In the Disney version, there is no fairy and the Prince's parents are never mentioned.

*Madame de Villeneuve's original novella provides elaborate backstories for both Beauty and the Beast, which I'll sum up briefly. The Prince's widowed mother is a warrior queen, who for years left him in a fairy's care while she went to war, but the fairy turned out to be wicked, and when the Prince grew up to be handsome she resolved to marry him and cursed him when he refused. Meanwhile, Beauty is really a fairy princess, the niece of the fairy who's been watching over the castle, who as a baby was given to a mortal family to protect her from enemies, which makes her a suitable bride for the Prince after all. Most retellings cut these backstories, however, and make Beauty a genuine commoner, as does the Disney version.

*In most versions of the story, Beauty's sisters go unpunished for their selfishness and jealousy, but in Beaumont's, the good fairy turns them into statues outside Beauty and the Prince's castle, forcing them to observe Beauty's happiness and only become human again when they recognize their own faults. In the Disney version, Gaston's "punishment" is to fall to his death from the castle balcony immediately after he stabs the Beast.

*In some versions of the story (e.g. Beaumont's), the enchanted castle isn't the Prince's own castle, but just a place where he stays until the spell is broken. Afterwards, the good fairy transports the Prince and Beauty back to the Prince's homeland, where they'll live from then on. In the Disney version, the castle is the Prince's own and they stay there.

*In most versions of the story, Beauty and the Prince are explicitly married in the end. In the Disney version, while they presumably will eventually get married, the final scene is a ball celebrating the end of the spell – not a wedding yet, since Belle is wearing the golden ballgown she wore earlier, not a wedding gown.

‘There must be more than this provincial life!’ Luigi sighed as walked into a building.

Walking into a small library, Luigi called out to a light green toad, putting books away on a shelf.

“Good Morning Señor Père!”

“Ah, if it isn't the only other bookworm in town!” The old one laughed, fixing his glasses.

“So, where did you run off to this week?”

“Two cities in Northern Italy

I didn't want to come back!” Luigi giggled.

“Have you got any new places to go?”

“I'm afraid not,” he sighed sadly.

“But you may re-read any of the old ones that you'd like!”

“Your library makes our small corner of the world feel so much bigger.” he smiled kindly, squeezing the old toad’s hand.

“Bon voyage!” Père smiled back as he walked off.

‘Look there he goes, the boy is so peculiar!’

‘I wonder if he's feeling well!’ Others spoke as he passed.

‘With a dreamy, far-off look

And his nose is stuck in a book!’

‘What a puzzle to the rest of us is Luigi.’

Luigi sat down on a bench, his dog sitting in the air beside him.

‘Oh, isn't this amazing?

It's my favourite part because you'll see

But she won't discover that it's him 'til chapter three!!’

Polterpup barked happily back at his owner.

‘Now it's no wonder that he’s called a 'Beauty!

His looks have got no parallel’ a few female toads laughed.

‘But behind that fair facade

I'm afraid he's rather odd!’ Another smirked.

‘Very different from the rest of us!

He's nothing like the rest of us!’

‘Yes, Luigi is different from the rest of us!.’

Meanwhile, somewhere in a large ghostly castle, a tall male ghost stared at our hero through a crystal ball. He wore an old white suit and large purple jewelled crown.

“Look at him, LeFou, my future husband!

Luigi is the most beautiful man in that village!

That makes him the best!”

“But he's so clumsy and timid, while you're so athletically inclined!” His smaller minion gulped, looking at the same man as his master.

“Yes, but ever since the war against that stupid reptile!;

I've felt like I've been missing something

And he's the only man that gives me that sense of-”

“Mmm, je ne sais quoi?” The minion smiled.

The ghost glared at his servant angrily.

“I don't know what that means!”

They look back to the ball.

‘Right from the moment when I met him, saw him

I said he's gorgeous and I fell!

There in town, there's only he,

Who is as beautiful as me!;

So I'm making plans to woo and marry Luigi!

‘Look there he goes

Isn't he dreamy?

Master Boo!’ Cried some Victorian ghost women hiding behind the door.

‘Oh, he's so cute!

Be still, my dead heart!

I'm hardly breathing

He's such a tall, dark, strong and handsome brute!’

Back in town, Luigi walked past everyone, buying food for him and his brother.

“Bonjour”

“Pardon”

“Good day”

“Mais oui”

“You call this bacon?!”

“What lovely flowers!”

“Some cheese”

“Ten yards”

“One pound!”

“Excuse me”

“I'll get the knife”

“Please let me through”

“This bread”

“Those fish”

“It's stale”

“They smell”

“Madame's mistaken”

“Well, maybe so!”

‘There must be more than this provincial life!’ Luigi sighed to himself as he walked back home through the forest, his dog at his feet.

‘Just watch, I'm going to make Luigi my bride!’ King Boo laughed.

‘Look there he goes

That boy is strange but special

A most peculiar young man!

It's a pity and a sin

he doesn't quite fit in
