Have you ever think the reason why Cale is protective to children is not because..

Of his childhood but the state of the apocalypse done to children. Have u seen children, toddlers in any apocalypse movies? Or the problem being shown in the movie “quiet place” having a toddler and a baby with monsters sensitive in noise? There is a great chance that in apocalypse, children and toddlers are abandon, bought over yet killed in the way, or in the worse case scenario, cannibalism like what in the movies “snowpiercer, 2013” where they have no choice but to e.a.t the babies. Histories of where human is driven into cannibalism because of hunger.

Why Cale wishes the children, even the wolf children, and Lily stay as what children is. He just accepted the fact the children wants weapon as toys or Ron teaching the kittens, Sheritt to Lock, Choi Han to the wolf children so that the children knows self defense and take care of themselves in danger. Trying not to repeat the same thing of their pasts and his failure to what happened to the apocalypse, maybe another reason why he thinks of him as a trash.

Like the novel doesn’t mention any children except the teen siblings in the sealed god test In the earth 2.

After all, Cale had seen the cruelest and darkest side what can humanity do in the apocalypse.

When Cale was Kim Rok Soo, back at the company, he never scared anyone. Sure, they worried for him, they feared his Records or they felt a subconscious chill when making eye contact but-

Rarely has he ever scared them.

Except the week he disappeared.

He got trapped underneath rubble, like his first meeting with Lee Soo Hyuk, but no one was there to save him this time. Three days, he was trapped; an uncanny parallel, maybe even more than a coincidence. But on the third day… something changed. He gained a new ability, something that snapped inside of him like a key that forgoes unlocking the mechanism entirely and breaks the lock itself.

He lifted a building off of its foundations.

The metal holding together the crevice he was huddled in snapped and groaned, while the rocks and concrete scratched and shattered like glass. He forced his way out and walked.

He walked away from the company.

If he had been within his mind, he would’ve gotten help, accepted food and water and healed his injuries.

He wasn’t. Within his mind, that is. He was strong, his senses had heightened to find food and all of his necessaries, but he couldn’t remember anything from his life as Kim Rok Soo.

Kim Rok Soo at this moment had fallen asleep, and Survival woke up. For 4 days, Survival walked, ate, drank, and breathed the life of Kim Rok Soo.

If you could call it living.

Eventually he was found, wandering and dirty, and seeing his team members let Rok Soo wake up, and Survival fell asleep.

Cale Henituse hasn’t had to do that. No, not yet, but time catches up eventually and Cale found himself in a perilous situation again.

Trapped inside of a collapsing building with no way to contact his friends who are expecting him to be back in 6 days. They were in a different world, so Cale only had a portion of his abilities, but it should've been enough. It hadn't.

4 days inside of the building, which shuddered and broke multiple times around him, finally, Survival opened its eyes.

It had taken longer because of Vitality of the Heart, but with all of his abilities weakened extensively, he had no options for escape.

Survival looks around dumbly. Within its own consciousness, it’s doing calculations. The structural integrity. The state of his body. The nearest food source.

Lifting the building off of its body is easy, but it takes several hours to progress its way out of the collapsing caverns. Survival breathes heavily, but doesn’t hesitate as it finally breaks through the side. The building tips over and crashes on the opposite side of where it is. Survival blinks from the impact, but only because of the dust.

It wanders for 3 days.

Finally, it gets found. By bandits.

It massacres them and steals their resources.

Soon after that, news breaks out about the supposed single-handed wipe out, and Raon finds him. Raon tries to speak to it, but after it deduced that Raon wasn’t a threat nor food, it walked away.

As a smart and clever dragon, Raon observed Cale before being so abruptly insulted. Multiple attempts to bring Cale back into those eyes, all failed attempts, Raon teleports the unwilling stranger back to the empire.

It doesn’t speak, it doesn’t respond to touch beyond a stern glance, and it only does the bare minimum to survive. It tried to store food under its bed after eating “enough”, and no amount of begging convinced it to not store the rations. It hasn’t bothered to use its powers either- like it doesn’t know it has them.

All attempts to speak are futile.

Choi Han even tried Korean, but it didn’t show any sign of understanding.

Rosalyn does research with Raon and Choi Han on what could have caused it.

Then they hear about the collapsed building. They hear about the bandits who had supposedly died a few days afterwards. Raon figures out that- yes- the stuff Cale had with him at the time used to belong to bandits.

A week after becoming Survival, days after being found, Cale opens his eyes on a bed.

“… They found me?” He muttered it so quietly, whisper soft, but Raon- apparently sleeping by his legs, jumps up with wide eyes.

“Human!”

Cale wants to sigh. How long was he asleep this time? By Raon’s expression, it must have beaten his previous records.

“Is it you? Is it really you? Say something! Say my name!”

Cale blinks in confusion. Two minutes ago he was dozing off inside of a dark hole that was close to collapsing, now— Raon wants to hear his name?

“… Raon Miru? Are you okay?” Cale sat up, ignoring his stiff body and pulling Raon into his lap. He seems to have lost a little weight?

“Human you must absolutely tell me everything you remember!”

While saying this, Raon was ordering everyone to stay out of Cale’s room with the exception of Choi Han and Rosalyn, as well as informing Beacrox to bring up food and to prepare tea.

Cale observes Raon, who is earnestly distressed for some reason, and concedes.

“The last thing I remember was falling asleep in a collapsing building.” Rosalyn gasps. She just entered the room with Choi Han, who is staring at Cale with a cold gaze.

“Why were you in there?” A chill runs down Cales spine at Choi Han’s voice.

“The conmen didn’t expect the building to collapse, they had likely planned something else. It just happened out of nowhere.” He doesn't say that he got lucky. He was next to one of the buildings main supports at the time, and the crumbling structure formed a bubble around him by chance.

Rosalyn goes pale.

Raon shouts, “I will destroy those bastards that made you go in there!”

“They’re already dead.” Cale shakes his head. Rosalyn covers her mouth. He hadn't said he got lucky, but it's obvious that he did. Did they almost lose Cale, and hadn't even known?

‘Three times…’ He’s been lucky with collapsing buildings three times now.

“Cale-nim…” Choi Han places a hand on his shoulder and Cale freezes in fear. “After the building collapsed, a bandit camp was destroyed, single handedly, a few days after. Raon found you wandering- with their stuff on you.”

Immediately, Cale figured it out. It must be an ability. He recalls the similar event that happened in the past and the dots are easy to connect.

But- he can’t say anything about that with Rosalyn in the room.

So all he says, is…

“I guess some part of me really wanted to live.”

My hyperfixiation with Stardew and TCF has me feeling the growing urge to write a story where Rok Soo moves into Roan Town to finally live his slacker life. And the characters in Stardew are the TCF characters.

Imagine Cale as the local drunk who is cold at first, but eventually warms up to Rok Soo and reveals his troublesome background and why he moved to the quiet town.

Paseton the local fisherman is happy whenever Rok Soo drops by to sell him the catch of the day. He's always happy to share stories he heard of the ocean and gives Rok Soo various recipes to try.

Rosalyn is a local mage choosing to stay in isolation to focus on her studies. She often leaves her tower to explore but comes back home to compile her studies. Rok Soo and her have an understanding that she provides some of her magical services in exchange for gold.

Choi Han watches over Rok Soo per his nephew's insistence because he's worried that Rok Soo will attract trouble. He stays near the mines, taking over the the old guild in order to keep the monsters in check. He worries about Rok Soo going into the mines without guidance because monsters are dangerous and often comes with him. But Rok Soo proves to be very capable with the sword due to his time with Lee Soo Hyuk and Choi Jung Soo. He's there with Lock because they have a close bond.

Alberu runs the town, sometimes bemoaning the lack of funs. With Rok Soo's growing faem, he sees the opportunity to grow the town's budget and works with Rok Soo to make Roan a more thriving place. Much to Rok Soo's dismay. But he was promised that Alberu will make sure to handle the troublesome paperwork that comes with selling thousands of goods.

Ron and Beacrox run the local Inn, taking over to follow Cale per Deruth's orders. Cale hangs around the Inn a lot to drink. Rok Soo is nervous to be around such scary people but he comes often because the food is delicious and he has a lot of money.

I have a confession. I am extremely confused by the concept of time reversal and regression. Let's discuss it with taking LCF as an example.

So, as we know, OG!Cale made a deal with the God of Death which resulted in the time being reversed by 22 years for Nameless 1 world. Now, we know there is the concept of souls and reincarnations. Like White Star getting reincarnated over and over. Jour being reincarnated on Earth 1, and Lee Soo Hyuk being reincarnated on Nameless 1. So we know that once a person dies, their soul can reincarnate.

Now here's the question.

There's a lot of people that died in the original timeline of Nameless 1, right? Raon, (maybe On and Hong), the entire Henituse fam save for OG!Cale, Lock's siblings, Pendrick, Paseton, and many more. So... Are y'all getting where I'm going with this?

Like, Paseton. He died when Cale was 18. Did his soul roam around the divine realm for 22 years waiting to be revived when time gets reversed? That goes for all of the souls; even the extras, who don't know the names of, that died in the war. There's no way all those souls were waiting around for that long instead of reincarnating because at the time they died even GoD didn't plan for the time reversal.

So my question is... Who is in those bodies rn? Are they the same souls as the ones before the regression? They have to be because there's no continuity discrepancy in their behaviour and memory. So did they all get pulled out of their new bodies when time was reversed to go back to the old ones? People who had already reincarnated, they had to have started new lives somewhere out there in another world. GoD reversed time for only one world, so the birth of those souls in other worlds couldn't have been reversed. What happened to them?

What exactly happens when time is reversed? What logic and concept is at play when time gets reversed?

Number 11 is another au!

Au: The Soos all get transmigrated in TBoaH, but in different locations and at different times. After death, Lsh and Cjs wake up in the forest of darkness around 75 yrs after Ch and escape the forest with him, whereas Krs comes later and in a much more disadvantageous situation.

- Kim Rok Soo dies right after finishing volume 5, at 36 years old and wakes up not as the trash of the Count’s family, but in his own 16 year old body alone in a forest on the Eastern continent. Also, for the sake of keeping the Soos ages close to each other, CJS and LSH are aged to be closer to KRS’s new current age(CJS:19; LSH: 21). CJS and KRS are no longer the same age:( Tho I’m not too sure abt this, might change up the ages.

- Kim Rok Soo, with no memories and his records sealed, is found by the White Star and taken to a hidden Arm base. While I contemplated bringing him to Endable, I don’t see how Rok Soo would be able to bring the children with him. While the other Soos could pick them up; one, they don’t know anything about this world, and two, that would eliminate Rok Soo’s relationship with his kids. Ultimately, the working plot is that WS hides Krs from his subordinates in Endable because they still don’t know about the curse. All they know is that he reincarnates, and he would rather avoid any unwanted questions.

- So the WS(current body is 18. Shortly before plot) is confused and shocked by the resemblance between him and this stranger that smells of the god of death’s power. Believing it to be in his favor, he brings the boy with him to a secret Arm branch location. WS intends to train him as his successor and the next dragon slayer, especially seeing that his time is warped. He later reaffirmes this decision upon seeing Krs return with several ancient powers in his possession.

- So Cjs and Lsh mentor CH and help him get out of the forest much faster. They prob stay in Harris Village about 3 years before Arm attacks.

- The two Soos definitely have the sense to not let a defenseless 18 year old be beat up by CH. As insensitive as the Trash was, they’ve been through too much to beat up a kid over one or two rotten comments. They report to the Count and set off for their journey after a few days of rest.

- I’m thinking that Cale wouldn’t go to the Capital. Basen probably goes like in tboah, and the three Koreans go with the Molan duo on their journey where they pick up Lock and Rosalyn.

- With the additional help of Lee Soo Hyuk and Choi Jung Soo, the heroes are able to prevent quite a bit of destruction during the plaza terror incident; especially thanks to Jung Soo’s White Miru preventing more citizens from being crushed by buildings, and Soo Hyuk’s slash ability helping out as well. The Soos are used to evacuating people, so overall, the plaza terror incident has much less casualties than tboah, but still more than totcf(sorry, no silver shield. Rok Soo’s not there).

- Redika still gets his arm slashed off, but by Lsh, and Cjs’s White Miru injures his eye. I had to make him easier to take out while remembering that no one knows where Redika will be appear, so this Choi Han doesn’t get the chance to go after him.

- Now about the kids averaging 7 years old….I’m thinking that Rok Soo and the WS part ways before the Harris Village massacre. Krs would go to Rain City to get the indestructible shield and pick up On and Hong while the WS gets the ancient power. And for Raon’s whereabouts, maybe the god of death speaks to Krs after the latter parts from WS in the Henituse territory. Of course, Krs will slowly remember things from tboah over time. That is how he knew about the shield, after all. The WS not bringing him along is also him being careful not to let Krs know of his intentions. His goal is to slowly bring the him to his side. Shouldn’t be too hard, the kid doesn’t even have his memories.

- Now you might question why Krs would go along with Ws’s plans even without memories. It’s simple, he doesn’t. Rok Soo would love nothing more than to be away from this creep, but until he regains his memories, he is unfortunately stuck with this most likely insane and disturbingly familiar man.

- I do have a lot of plans for the changes this au makes, but they’ll mostly come to fruition later in the novel plot. For now, Rok Soo will be doing a lot of things in the background, unknowingly messing with the WS’s plans, while Jung Soo and Soo Hyuk, along with the rest of the heroes, travel around Roan and solve problems like Choi Han’s party did in the original timeline.

I think I have way too many thoughts about this au, so I’ll stop it here and probably post a part two sometime this month. I’m trying to make the posts a bit shorter and not have them all be so late at night.

I just noticed that this AU implies that a lot of people are going around trying to change their fates or fighting against them, meanwhile ogCale, the wise little shit, discovered how to take onto someone else's fate and just never told anyone.

Which, if you think about it, that was probably the best choice.

I mean, do you imagine what Venion would do if he could just select a fate of his choice and do as he pleases?

Bonus:

KRS at his group: ...this means that to stop headmaster Barrow, we have to find who's "fate" he took over.

Alberu: Agreed. But, how will we do it? The details of the respective fates has always being unknown to the general public (even royalty) besides the owner of the fate. Even the public information is only available due to the nature of the ceremonies.

Rosalyn: I could create an spell to point us on the right direction, but even so— *suddenly fells silent and stares besides Rok Soo*

Cale, who appeared out of nowhere with a cappuccino in hand:... the key lies under the world tree.

Everyone: *blinks*...

Rosalyn: ...Thank you... *turns to Alberu* *whispers* Your highness, do you know what he means?

Alberu, in deep thought: ...actually I think I do. Young master Cale—

The empty place where Cale was: :)

He kept doing things like that until someone finally caught him before he could disappear.

Bonus #2:

KRS's group falls through a hole near the supposed location of an elf village.

Rok Soo, lying in the floor: ...Oof

Lee Soo Hyuk, already getting up: Has anyone any idea of where we are?

Choi Jung Soo, poking Rok Soo: Nop.

Rok Soo, an intellectual: *side eyes him* He's not talking to you.

Lock: ...guys.

Rosalyn: It look like some kind of magical cave. See the shiny stones in the walls? They're probably some type of magical mineral, though I've never heard of any like this.

Lock, who's basically a werewolf: Guys.

Choi Han, in the middle of manhandling Rok Soo to stand him up: are them so rare?

Alberu, also looking the stones: if miss Rosalyn hadn't seem them before, they're probably unknown, at least in the actuality.

Lock, the person with the best basic senses in the current group: Guys!!

Choi Jung Soo: uh, what? There's no reason to scream like that. You're going to scare Rok Soo Ah— *evades an elbow*

Lock, so done with everyone: Look above, I think I found where we are.

Rosalyn, looking at the many keys hanging of the world tree's roots: ...Huh. You know? I didn't think young master Cale mean it literally.

Btw, in this AU, Cale has a sort of dream clairvoyance power (Y'know, instead of the annual rings, since it wouldn't be of use here). That's how he knew what Bassen's fate would be if he let it be.

Okay but, TBOAH but in a sort of Ever After High AU. Meaning: a highschool AU where everyone has a "fate" or "role" assigned at some point.

Og!Cale takes on the role of lout/trash/minor villain so their siblings won't have to do it.

Choi Han is supposed to be the Chosen One Hero.

Everyone thinks the second or third prince must be the next king. It's actually Alberu and so far he's one of the only ones whose "fate" isn't wrong assigned.

Rosalyn is supposed to be a queen, but she's openly in a rebellion against it. She even changed all her princess classes for magic classes. At some point everyone learned to just let her be Or Else.

The Soo's still transmigrates, only that they're also teenagers and the school is sort of fostering them. They keep going around joining whatever classes they like and messing up with the pretty much fucked up tradition.

Eruhaben somehow ended as the magic teacher and it's Raon's fault.

What Kim Rok Soo probably thinks about Cale Henituse

Okay, so I mentioned that I'm rereading the first part now so I can finally read the second part of the novel.

While reading, I noticed how calm and normal Kim Rok Soo is about Cale. Like yeah, he finds him amusing and interesting, but coming from a man who has read five volumes and notices (and remembers) every little detail about it, it makes me wonder what he truly thinks about Cale Henituse.

[✋Possible SPOILERS for the first part of TCF ✋]

As I reread the story in the first few chapters, despite how little Cale Henituse's importance is in The Birth of a Hero or how few his appearances are since it focuses on Choi Han's adventure, Kim Rok Soo somehow describes moments that make Cale look like trash but it's like he understands why the noble was like that before they switched bodies (except for the Harris village since he didn't know about that until OG Cale mentions it).

Like think about it. We all know KRS grew up with his abusive uncle. He knows how bad it is to live with an alcoholic but he doesn't judge Cale's antics when he's "drunk". We also know that he's been alone most of his life so he probably thinks that Cale is just a lonely person because of his reputation.

Guessing that there are some assholes during the apocalypse (I haven't read the side stories yet but I can guess), he probably thinks that Cale is more complex than what he shows in the books because he has seen the worst kind of people that makes Cale look like a normal person. After switching bodies, Venion, White Star, Arm, and Adin are definitely 1000% worse than Cale.

Kim Rok Soo is very sharp when it comes to understanding people. He understands Choi Han and Alberu's problems and understands the trauma the kids went through. He also understands how corrupt nobles and priests are and doesn't judge Mary and the Dark Elves all because of a stupid religion. He understands how hard it was for Lock during the war and was comforting about it his own weird way.

He's a perceptive and understanding person.

Although he's incredibly bad at judging himself, he's good at judging a person through their motives and actions. It's why he somehow befriends Toonka and Bud. It's why he became allies with Hannah and Fredo. It's why he quietly listens to DHB later on. He understands people and it's why people like and trust him.

In short, he knows that there's something more than what the books say about Cale Henituse.

It's kind of the reason why it made me pause a bit when he finally meets OG Cale.

Their conversation was so calm, it's as if they knew each other for a very long time instead of just literally a few minutes ago. He easily accepted what OG Cale has to say about his mother and his new life as Kim Rok Soo and he trusts him with his former team. Like I've mentioned before in my other post, he's happy for both of them because they're both content with their new lives despite their regrets in their last lives.

Cale looked at Kim Rok Soo, who was laughing and making gestures that he would never have made, and nonchalantly added on.

“I guess you’ve really been happy.”

He recalled the moment he met with Lee Soo Hyuk and got the ‘Embrace’ ability.

Lee Soo Hyuk had handed Cale the ability and told him about the real Cale Henituse as he disappeared.

‘Oh, by the way, the original owner of your body is living well too. He’s happy. That is why Jung Soo, I, and everybody is happy.’

Kim Rok Soo had a bright smile that suited a twenty-year-old person and not someone in his mid-thirties.

- Chapter 656: Everything can be connected

I'm guessing that when he read the parts about Cale throwing bottles at a random asshole in the books, he probably thought that he might do the same thing. Remember how badly he reacted when he learned about the slaves being sent to the Empire? He basically used the same tactic but instead of throwing the bottle at someone, he drank a lot because of how pissed he was and made it look like the "trash" he is while waiting for everyone's signal.

He even has some thoughts about how annoyed he is whenever the knights or butlers would flinch away since he knows Cale never tried to actually harm them. And he knows about Cale's troubles with the staff back home in the Henituse territory.

So yeah, it's pretty sweet in a way that Cale Henituse has someone who kind of understands him and won't judge him for his actions even though Kim Rok Soo doesn't know everything about him because of the books (like his conversation with Basen).

“It looks like you will need to struggle a little longer, but anyway, live well. Please take care of my family.”

“Please take care of my team members.”

Both men let go of each other’s hand with a small amount of sorrow visible in their eyes.

- Chapter 657: Everything can be connected

After the KRS!Cale eating flowers headcanon, I couldn't help but think about this:

TCF headcanon: Depression Meals edition

KRS!Cale: Toss every leftovers with some gochujang and some rice to make bibimbap (back when he was still Kim Rok Soo), now he had Beacrox to cook anything for him.

Choi Han: Instant noodle (when he was still in Korea). Now he would just stay starved. Cale would force him to eat, though.

Alberu: Leftovers cookies and tea (if he had brew it before). Refused to eat anything else (unless someone forced him to).

Rosalyn: Mana potions.

Lock: This is weird but, raw meat (I mean, Lock is from the Wolf tribe, right? They gotta eat raw meat somehow).

Eruhaben: Also meat, but cooked with magic fire.

Ron & Beacrox: Nothing, really. Maybe some leftovers.

Mary: Death mana.

Toonka: I don't think he is ever depressed-

Clopeh: Too busy simping for Cale to be depressed.

Bud: Alcohol.

Lee Soo Hyuk & Choi Jung Soo: Just like Cale before, but with more effort (add more vegetables and seasoning if they could).

Cale!KRS: Only ate when he was too hungry, usually leftovers from the meal before, and wine (before becoming Kim Rok Soo). Now, leftovers from his reincarnated mother (He was too tired too cook, but he had to feed his niece somehow, right?).

Lee Soo Hyuk panted, wiping the blood from his head. A deep gash from fighting the monster had slowed him down. He wiped the blood from his eyes and surveyed the scene before him. Corpses littered the ground—his team members, who had perished fighting the monster that Kim Rok Soo had predicted would appear. The monster looked terrifying, even to him, but as the team leader, he maintained the facade of a strong and reliable leader.

He glanced at the bodies, many of which were mangled beyond recognition. Some were in better shape if missing limbs and deep cuts could be considered "better." The faces of the remaining team members were etched with despair, sorrow, and fear. Clutching the handle of his sword, he charged toward the monster and attacked with a powerful <slash>, but it barely left a mark. Frustration and guilt welled up within him. If only he were stronger, his team might still be alive. Grinding his teeth, he launched another attack, but the monster ignored him and moved in a different direction.

"What the hell...?"

His eyes followed the monster until he realized where it was headed. His pupils dilated in horror. Without thinking, he sprinted toward Kim Rok Soo, desperately trying to communicate through the broken walkie-talkie.

"Damn it! Fuck! KIM ROK SOO! WATCH OUT!" he cursed and yelled, his voice rising in pitch. But Kim Rok Soo didn’t notice until it was too late. Lee Soo Hyuk charged forward, throwing himself in front of Rok Soo and pushing him out of the way.

"Cough... ah."

Lee Soo Hyuk looked down at the claws, piercing his stomach and the blood covering his hands. He lifted his head to meet Rok Soo's eyes and managed a contented smile, thinking, "Ah... at least this punk is alive. I'm glad."

Kim Rok Soo's eyes welled up as he looked at Lee Soo Hyuk, who lay before him, struggling for breath. Lee Soo Hyuk's face was pale, yet his eyes burned with determination.

Lee Soo Hyuk saw Rok Soo's expression—full of fear and sorrow, his hands trembling as he held him. He called out to him, his voice weak but insistent

"Kim Rok Soo, I... I." He called with a firm voice, or that was what he wanted, but it was low, weak whispered.

"Will you shut your trap?" Kim Rok Soo snapped, his voice shaking as he tried to hold back tears.

Lee Soo Hyuk chuckled softly, a sound that quickly turned into a wet cough. "Shut my what? Well, looks like I’ll be shutting up for all eternity in a moment," Lee Soo Hyuk replied with a faint, bitter smile.

"...Please don’t speak nonsense either," Kim Rok Soo pleaded, his heart aching.

"I’ll say what I want to say. Kim Rok Soo, hey Rok Soo."

"... What is it?" Kim Rok Soo's voice was barely a whisper, his eyes locked onto his friend's hyung.

"I leave it to you. Got it?" Lee Soo Hyuk's eyes bore into Kim Rok Soo's with a mixture of trust and desperation.

"...I thought you told me to be a slacker?" Kim Rok Soo's voice cracked, trying to lighten the moment.

"Hey, have you ever seen anything in the world go the way you want it to go? You, cough!" Lee Soo Hyuk's body convulsed as he coughed, blood staining his lips. "Anyway...I, I leave it to you, Rok Soo. Hey Rok Soo. Take care of things for me."

As darkness edged into his vision, Lee Soo Hyuk's last thought was of hope. He trusted Kim Rok Soo completely. He had to believe that his dongsaeng would carry on, that he would honour this final request. With one last faint smile, Lee Soo Hyuk let go, his mind filled with the image of a better future that Kim Rok Soo would help create. His eyes closed, and he found peace in that belief as his world went dark.

Actor AU

Cale and Kim(WS) are almost identical twins. Cale plays Cale Henituse and OG!Cale Henituse. Kim plays White Star and Kim Rok Soo but he puts a black wig and heels and films all his Kim Rok Soo in the very beginning of shooting because he needed to be more toned up. Every time there’s a scene between Cale and White Star the two improvise most of the dialogue and just taunt each other for shits and giggles but the scenes turn out pretty good so the directors let them do what they want.

Choi Han and Choi Jung Soo are cousins. They often get confused as siblings tho. Surprisingly Choi Han is the most hyperactive and meme lord of the two. Choi Jung Soo is the chill but he’s also hyperactive and a meme lord but not as much as Choi Han. It’s like their characters switched personalities. They have really good chemistry with both of the twins. These dumb quarter often pulls pranks on other cast members and are all pretty active on social media where they demonstrate the complete chaos they create.

Alberu is the mom of the group along with Lee Soo Hyuk. They’re not that different from their characters. Alberu is not dark skinned but he’s a natural brunette so he just has to wear a blond wig. When he has to play his dark elf form he has to spend over an hour in the make up booth getting his skin tone done while everyone annoys him. Lee Soo Hyuk is the ultimate Mom Friend TM of the group. He’s also one of the script writers of the story. He almost has an aneurysm every time Cale and Kim mess up their script. And he has the most fun acting with everyone every time he has a scene

Rosalyn is the older sister of both On and Hong. She’s just goofing around with her little siblings every time they aren’t shooting. Rosalyn may or may not have stolen some of those magic stone props to keep them as souvenirs but no one will never know. She loves playing her character especially during the times she acts unhinged and releases her full powers. On and Hong spend most of the time on the voice recording booth but they do enjoy the occasional times they get to act. They really love the little kittens and play with them all the time on and off set.

Sherrit is the mom of both Raon and Lock. She wasn’t the original actress for the role, but seeing the way Raon and Lock acted around her off set and how much Raon insisted that his mom got to play the role because that’s his only mom, the directors proposed the idea yo her and she nailed the role. She loves acting with her boys. Lock is very shy off screen too. Actually most of his shy behavior on screen is just his real personality slipping out but the fans love it. Raon is the joy bringer on set. He spends most of his time on the voice recording booth but goes on set to play with his mom and hyungs. He has a great relationship with both Cale and Kim but sometimes has a hard time distinguishing the two. He also loves On and Hong and considers them his real siblings.

Eruhaben is an old friend of the director and a very famous actor. He’s as much of a grandpa off screen as he is on screen even tho he’s only a few years older than Sherrit. You will occasionally find a part of the cast following him around or napping with him on set. Especially the twins. Meanwhile Sherrit is just there taking pictures and sending it to the director. He loves the kids tho and shows it. Constantly giving them sweets or advising them on their acting.

GoD or Ezekiel(as some have headcanoned his name) is the director of the show. He’s a close friend of the author of the original novel Yoo Ryeo Han and works closely with them on the production the show. And when he was suggested by Yoo Ryeo Han to play his character he didn’t even have a chance to disagree before the twins agreed for him. And so he was left with no choice but to comply and what do you know the fans loved him as GoD much to his surprise. He was also surprised at the amount of praise and fangirling over his looks.
