Korra laughed, dragging the brush over his foot again, which she held captive in her lap.

Mako’s face bloomed red as he snorted out a laugh. “Plehease!”

“I can’t believe you’re so ticklish.” Korra murmured, swiping his foot with the brush again. It was nice, strong, a gift from Asami. It worked perfectly fine for hair, but once she had discovered in a drunken curiosity that it felt ticklish as hell when brushed against feet…

“Korra!” Mako pleaded.

She swiped the brush again, and Mako choked on a laugh, tugging at his leg uselessly. “Come ohohohon! Stahahahahoppit!”

“Oh, I’m not done yet.”

“Nohohohoh!”

“If you really want me to lose the brush that badly… I can always use my fingers.” Korra grinned, scribbling on Mako’s sole.

“Gahhahahah! Korra!”

iroh: i think a lot of people just give strongest to azula or ozai bc of their feats and power but personally i think it’s iroh because he’s more level headed than azula and more carefree than ozai which i believe is what makes firebending

azula: she’s a beast but by the end of the series and in the comics she’s not the most mentally stable person y’know. we see it all the time in both shows aang got scared he lost the little firebending he has, zuko loses his way, mako is scared and can’t bend with one of his arms, as bad as it is if she doesn’t get better she’s gonna have to face the consequences.

ozai: most of ozai’s feats come from being calculated not his actual abilities and the only people i remember him fighting are actually 13 and 12 so…..

MAKO: WE SEE MAKO DO EVERYTHING IROH CAN DO IN SMALLER FEATS AND SUDDENLY HES THE WORST THERE EVER WAS. in all seriousness makos precision and quick reflexes make him a great bender. also in republic city hustle he’s already mastered lighting bending at 15 making him younger than both ozai and iroh who mastered it as adults and don’t bring up zuko

jinora: her connection to the spirits and mastering airbending at 11 makes her a great airbender

zaheer: got molly whooped by a 50 year old bald man

kai or bumi: they’re fast learners idk

katara: katara becomes a master over the course of the year and shows great skill with not only with traditional bending but with healing and blood bending.

ming hua: she has no arms idk what to tell you idk how she does it

tonraq: MOLLY WHOOPED ZAHEER

eska and desna: they’re fast benders and have impeccable battle chemistry that no one can beat

earth(might ruffle some feathers)

toph: created her own bending style and becomes a master at the age of 12. has some intense battle chemistry with everyone from team avatar and has some impressive moments.

lin: was taught by and trained by toph and is an impressive metal bender. she doesn’t have as many impressive moments as everyone else and because of her age and already being a master we don’t really see her grow as a bender but more as a person

kuvira: an immovable object meets an unstoppable force. kuvira is a lot like lin in the sense as her growth is more focused on growing as a person and not on growing as a bender like everyone else her only downside is her lack of care. she sacrifices everything to take over republic city and is her greatest weakness.

bolin: this is what i think will make some people mad. bolin is an entirely self taught lavabender and just like mako his precision and accuracy makes him a great earth bender. Bolin and Mako’s fluid and untraditional styles of bending makes them great benders because everyone else we see are traditionally trained

Headcanon:

All of ATLA characters except those, who have another canon sexuality, are bisexual

Azula is bisexual + aromantic

Mai is bisexual with a preference for men

Ty lee is bisexual with a preference for women

Katara is bisexual who doesn't know that and think she's straight, but she just has a big preference for men

Toph and Aang don't know what bisexuality is, but they just are (also Toph is aromantic)

Sokka & Suki are bisexuals with no preference and they know it

Zuko is bisexual with a preference for women

Jet is homophobic and doesn't believe he's bi, but he is

Yue knows she's bi, but has never told anyone (mb only Sokka?)

Korra and Asami are just proud bisexuals

Mako realized he's bi when Korra and Asami got together

Bolin doesn't know he's bi and has a preference for women. He felt attraction to men, but just didn't make a big deal of it

Lin doesn't know she's bisexual, but she had a crush women that she thought was a friendly crush

Kyoshi is a proud bisexual

Iroh don't care about gender and has no preference, but was only in relationship with his wife

Ozai has inner homophobia, but deep down inside knows he likes men

Ursa just never thought about loving women, but if you ask her, she will just say "all women women had a little crush on other women, that's normal for straight people"

Sozin and Roku are just huge bi disasters for each other and their wives

In Legend of Korra there was a thing where getting possessed by a spirit would leave you permanently mutated and/or disfigured with remnants of what that spirit looked like. (There was a guy who got possessed by a tree spirit and we later see a guy get possessed by a lemur guy.) My point is: There are various rumors that the Bats are either spirits or have been possessed by bat spirits in the past and it left some very scary marks.

Yeah during the flashback episodes to avatar Wan we see a couple spirits do the body possession thing including raava which it's revealed that's how the avatar came to be she stayed in Wans body for too long and their spirits combined although apart from vatu I'm not sure if we see any spirits in korras time do possession thing so not sure how many people would be aware that spirits can do that

Maybe instead of a spy, imagine the next Avatar is gonna be a chef. As in just ordinary earth bending chef from the Earth Nation and every time he learns a lesson from their previous lives, he also asks the avatars their ingredients of their nation’s foods so he can master both element and flavor. Basically Laios from Delicious In Dungeon but as the Avatar.
