I have learnt things about Geto that I wish I could unlearn
#I think I'm getting about the same amount of spoilers as a few weeks ago except now I understand them#But like. I expected so much of him#Seeing gifs of that one scene in which Gojo gets distracted because of Geto almost made me watch this a year ago#Geto was actually my favourite character in that one JJK fanfic I read that I mention so often even if he had literally one scene#I know so much of the emotional turmoil and conflict in JJK and Gojo in particular depends on him#And you're telling me he's Thanos?#I learnt a few days ago that everything pretty much happens in one year. That there's one year between Geto's death and Gojo's#I thought it would be like ten years. Ten years of the act haunting him#But no? So it's not a broken teenager who has these ideas and is killed by another teenager to stop him?#It's a what? ~30yo man saying Light levels of stupidity? Even worse perhaps?#Goodness I hope this is not so. I hope this is better written than what I am seeing#Because goddammit I can't do it. It would kinda ruin every emotional scene from then on?#That one scene I was so looking forwards about patting Gojo's back or whatever. The one in which Gojo gets distracted. It just. I don't know#I won't be able to be moved if Geto doesn't work xD#I was fearing I wasn't going to like him a lot because my expectations were big but oh my god please not like this#This is way worse than I expected. Someone tell me he actually makes sense. What's the point of this whole political play#in which no one is fully wrong and no one is totally right otherwise? What is the point of the haunting. This feels just idiotic xD#And I don't care about the traumas and all that. That works for the teen not the ~30yo man#It would have worked if Gojo would have killed him like 1-2 years after everything not like a few months ago. Last winter#After like ten years a 30yo man should have realised this plan sucks.#Even if it's utilitarian. Who is going to make clothes? Buildings? Streets and railways? Bread??? Go have a talk with Nanami please#We have been told there are not a lot of jujutsu sorcerers. How are you going to fulfill all those needs out of nothing?#And even if it were little by little so the needs could be getting fulfilled little by little too#If you decimate humans won't that cause more curses? I guess he's thinking on the long run but still this plan seems like a mess#I hope it makes more sense than it's looking it will make because of my god this would truly be the last nail on the coffin xD#I am being more and more tempted to get to Utahime and then just drop this. #i dont think this weakened his narrative honestly it was really good to have him experience what he made others go through and then#when hes finally free have to untangle the resentment and realise that he also did this to others#(once he gets past the bitterness of the 200 years that is)#going from abuser to victim who is then freed and has to deal with all of that is very compelling imo#i also think itd give a lot of gravity to him freeing the spawn in the cages#IMO it weakens the AA route because that one works best as a “corruption” arc rather than a... back to what i used to be but worse arc#literally that video of applejack where she goes dear celestia i learnt nothing i was right all along

passion love grief rage spite confusion loneliness community shame boredom perfectionism fun because i dont know how to stop
#ive written stories ever since i learnt TO write. i remember being no older than 6/7 writing pages and pages worth#of a story about my cat and the adventures he got up to with the fairies in our garden#in year 6 i won an award for writing in year 7 i got published in a poetry anthology#in year 8 my writing was such a massive part of me and my emotions that i swore off using my laptop#(which had been and still is what i use to write)#for 2 whole YEARS bc i convinced myself at that age that my mind was evil#and therefore my writing was evil. and i still have a lot of that shame w me ive talked about it a lot on here#but u know what? in those 2 years where i refused to open a document and write 'properly'#all that happened was i wrote on my phone in my notes app. even when i thought it was disgusting and forbidden and bad#i still couldn't help it. i kept it as a dirty secret even when i was convinced it would be genuinely physically damaging#and i cant even really say why. i just had to. and now im here a decade later. still writing#i cant really answer your question bc the response is too large too heavy too all-encompassing#writing is everything to me and it always has been. that includes every single bad thing but every good thing too#i hate it and love it and want it dead and need it to hold my hand and it will always be some sort of surgery#and it's just a silly hobby. do u get it#ask

As some of you might’ve seen: I’m no longer posting art on Twitter, so Tumblr is now the only social media I’ll be consistently posting art to. However: I’ll also be posting it to my website and possibly other social media platforms in the future.
I also post monthly sketch pages to my Patreon (April’s is on this post) with early access for Patrons, and I’m hoping to add more things to it soon!

I was really pushing out quick things#not progressing as an artist since I wasn’t practicing besides trying to be faster#So I’m shifting gears more now and doing things that aren’t art as hobbies#Learnt to make my website! Want to keep developing it too and making layouts for other people#Learning auslan (Aussie sign language) and having an amazing time!#mostly getting back into education since I really love learning things#haven’t been in a class for years and it’s been a big boost to my mental health#still have financial worries but not as badly now thankfully#Anyway I’ll probably be posting less art until I figure out what works for me#though less art is better than the NONE that happens when I’m exhausted and having a bad time#Hopefully I’ll start to really enjoy the process again and start getting more ideas#(ideas are so hard to come up with!)

Worst thing about learning a new language of my own violation though is that its made me a fucking nerd. I just found my friend's flashcards on quizlet and got excited. I get excited to hear some french words in everyday conversation. When my friends are reading a book i have to resist the urge to go WHAT LANGUAGE IS THAT. Im just super excited to consume french and spanish language and phrases and im a fucking nerd about it now
#like im not as into spanish as i am french#i like the sounds better but i set out here to learn french goddamit!!!!#but it would be SUPER awesome to speak both fr fe#fr#hell even just 1#like in 4 years. again. km not going to be worse#im listening and learing french constantly atm#spanish its only been a few days but im getting on a lot better than i thought#i keep getting frustrated bevause i dont always understand it and its digficult to manage my time#plus ive heard that learning two langauages can confuse u#but ive not had too much issue atm and it can actually be benifitial to learn both#hell i dont think om even doing this for qsmp anymore i dont even watch qsmp!!!!!#but also if i do need to dropone language or maybe even both if rhings get really crazy#it wont be the end of the world because i can always pick it back up and it wi never be a waste u know#luke i havent learnt spanish for 4 or 5 years!!! and i STILL can read a bit and i got put forwards on duolingo even FURTHER than i currently#am in french!!!!!!#and ive been learning french for 4 months! (although i learnt spanish at school since like. year 4 and i didnt take it in later years and my#spanish teacher hated me bc i was always drawing and she was mean#ik spanishis easier to learn than french#did u k ow that if u practice for 3 hours a day u can learn spanish in 6 months!?#i dont have 3 hours a day#i think today ive spent about 1#1.5 hours practicing and 1.5 hours engaging with french and spanish media combined#but thats only half of that each idk#i just dont think im going to be fluent for aggggeeeesssssss like YEARS. maybe in like. 4 or 5 years would be cool#but also its just fun? and im having fun and oh my god this makes me a nerd doesnt it#okay okay ramble over im just proud of myself :]

cant remember bringing this up for a while so honestly i'll never be over the reiiteration that jean himself has a bleeding heart. he is going to be both blunt and honest with whoever hes speaking to, but in a way that he hopes will come to help them understand the situation but also does it so whoever he's speaking with actually understands the full situation and what that may entail despite the gruesome outcome.
#out of.#i know so many people respect erwins RTS speech bc its so important but#his honesty to the corps completely parallels what 15 year old jean was saying to the scouts in trost arc and that is. IMPORTANT TO ME#rusty honesty is the most lore accurate name for his theme bc jean is. at his very core. AWFUL at this when he starts off#esp as a scout bc ... so much of it gets held back. just not enough for marco to not see it :pray:#his first proper scout interaction with eren is something i always write as a big regret for him but i also think its good to say he was a#fifteen year old who was suddenly becoming his own and a lot of peoples therapists.#he gets so much better with all this. he GROWS#i was talking abt this with angel a second ago but it's just part of the reiner and jean parallel that makes me enjoy writing them the most#reiner originally was this massive older brother figure role following all he had learnt from marcel. but peoples trust in him snapped so#easily when the reveal took place and he then spent the rest of the series trying to gain it back#( the only character who really seemed to forgive him the most being jean )#whereas jean was the character everyone loved to be mad at / tease / not get too close to#into becoming someone the majority of the scouts trusted the most#one day i will write my meta explaining all these diff characters jean mirrors but ... i shall leave you with this for now

OKAY so uhhhh some months ago, 秦律师 and i decided to call it quits. he was offered a permanent position back in hangzhou that paid a heck lot better and had way better benefits than his auckland firm, and it was just the kind of career move that he had to take (fair, i would've done the same). he asked me to quit my job to go to hangzhou with him, but uh because of a variety of reasons (a huge part of it was that giving up my career was a hard limit), i eventually said no. it wasn't a bad breakup, per se, but it was still :/ because we'd been together for about 3 years at that stage, and prior to this, we'd been very seriously talking about getting married???
enter 陈老师! so i'd actually known 陈老师 for more than a year at that point?? 陈老师 is a sound engineer working at the local tv station by day, and does some 直播（to pre-emptively answer an faq: 不露脸的那种，唱歌的）when he's free at night. we first met when i went with one of my clients to the station for an interview. we have quite a huge mutual friend circle but i'd never run into him before, but since we met at the tv station, we just.....sort of kept running into each other??
陈老师 says he had a crush on me from the moment he heard me quietly threatening my client not to say anything i told him not to say, but ahahahahaha it wasn't obvious until 秦律师 and i broke up imo. first 陈老师 started showing up at group events a lot more, then we started going out for coffees alone, and then we went through this super weird week where he kept calling me jiejie (because one of his friends told him that might do the trick) (it didn't but i was tempted 😂), and that sort of just progressed to him awkwardly telling me he likes me and then, get this, literally getting so embarrassed he had to run away before following it up again by wechat (over a song). it was weirdly cute. i said yes.
ANYWAY he's still a bit awkward, but he's found this trick where every time he want to express something Important, he'll do it by song so he doesn't mess it up, the concept is hilarious, but in practise it's actually quite heart-warming ahahahahaha all the covers i've put up on insta are songs 陈老师 covers and sends to me 🥰
#he's about two years younger and it's like his first relationship so everything is new for him and a lot of it is very funny#他的嘴是真的笨but i think i can mostly interpret what he's trying to express now??? it's just still funny to go 🤨 at him to watch him flail tho#he's recently learnt how to 撒娇 and does it SO WELL skfhsdjghjsga#the jiejie thing is making a comeback i hate that it works on me#anyway it's a cutesy relationship for now#i won't say i'm like expecting it to last for a very long time but man low commitment suits me so much better#ya he does send me a song every night to help me sleep when he's too busy to record he calls me to sing it to me#like i said super cutesy relationship#it's a 初恋 thing for him i'm doing my best to not traumatise him i know i know i do so much for my community#another faq: he does take suggestions if y'all want to suggest a song#asks#Anonymous#sarah talks about herself

#i love dogs so much you guys#i was thinking last night#when i was a child (9ish) and had unfettered access to the internet#i would research breeds and email breeders and ask for more information about their programmes and breeds#i would ask so many questions and even though i was obviously a child a lot of breeders responded positively with resources and information#i wrote essays for fun about dog breeds#i made up my own dog breeds and wrote blurbs about every breed i learnt about#i would check out dog books from the library and read them over and over and over#and here i am#12 years later#actually. getting involved. irl.#screaming crying sobbing

Random take but I feel like my art style is undergoing puberty
#I DO LINEART NOW#WHAT#SINCE WHEN#Artfight and viscomm has taught me a lot methinks#Namely that I CAN cram pieces with enough willpower 😂😂😂#I’ve learnt how to draw sketches MUCH quicker#And that not everything you draw must be a total masterpiece. sometimes you gotta draw a guy standing there#that was something I always wrestled with conceptually and now I think I get it#You can just. draw a guy. it doesn’t have to mean anything.#And I think I have a clearer view of my artistic goals rather than just ‘get good lol’#And I think I can finally accept one thing#marketinggggggggg#I’m still so fucking adverse to having a social presence that isn’t this blog but I feel like I’m gaining the mentality needed to succeed#in getting your art out there.#That being said since this was my first year of artfight I learnt a lot and made a lot of mistakes#BUT I think I’ll definitely have a better round next year <3#just pav things
