#tag games#picrew games#this one was fun :] they're all cyberpunk ocs btw so i didn't mention it for any of them. i have a lot of guys for that game#ambrose is a retired arasaka special ops agent who used to get sent after rogue employees. was known as the reaper on arasaka grounds#cato is one of vitali's mercs and is on the run from kang tao. she's a very good driver#eddie is also one of vitali's mercs and does a lot more bodyguard stuff since they used to be a bouncer at a club#hanan is ex arasaka special programs where she was security guard and then became a test subject and now she's with the cobras#lauren is also one of vitali's mercs and she's a netrunner specifically and arguably one of the best in her field#luna is a ripperdoc and mechanic and tattoo artist with a little shop in night city and is best friends with the cobras#nimue is one of vulture's bloodhounds. minds his business most of the time she's not very involved with any of the others#ramiel or just rami is again one of vitali's mercenaries but he also does gigs for aubrey so he's basically a link between the two fixers#reuben is ex maelstrom (never a member by choice) and now works at club bodytalk for aubrey#and rikki is aubrey's younger sister and also works at club bodytalk AND is leader of santa madre (branch of the valentinos)#reblog to give them all a big ol kiss

idk if it's because my mum worked in a tv magazine or what but all the media wars and backstabbing and stuff happening behind the cameras is so so interesting to me
#just saw what happened yesterday in la revuelta ojalá se muera el enano pelirrojo#so for non-spaniards here's a crash course on the situation (i could do a post about media groups in spain cause it's a lot)#there's this one late night show that's been on air for about 15 years called el hormiguero#it started fine (i used to watch it with my family when it started)#but soon there were some issues that people were seeing#especially concerning the presenter (who's also the head ofthe show) pablo motos#and his attitude with female guests he'd interview#basically being very weird and gross around them#apart from that in the last year he started to get very political in the show#he invited right and far right leaders while refusing to do so with the left wing#started making monologues at the beginning of each show critizising stuff the left had done or said#and finally included a debate segment in the show in which he invited liked-minded people to discuss politics#this has directly affected his audience. my dad is a fan of el hormoguero and i've seen him turn more right wing every year#so. last summer RTVE (national broadcast company) announced they were gonna do a late night show presented by david broncano#it's hard to describe everything here but basically broncano already had a late show called la resistencia in a streaming platform#it has always been very popular with young people and it is quite left wing#the new program made by RTVE was called la revuelta. it is exactly the same as la resistencia#before it started airing people were sceptic that broncano would be able to defeat motos' hegemony#BUT. ever since it started aiting in september it has consistently been getting more audience than el hormiguero#who would've known people were tired of the redhead bastard#anyways. apart from this. different celebrities on ppdcasts have been saying that in order to promote their product they are forced to go#to el hormiguero even of they didn't want to#there's also rumours of pablo motos blackmailing people (mostly comedians) who make fun of him#and now to what happened last night. i don't watch tv so i just saw it on twitter#broncano opened the show saying that they were sorty but they had no guest tonight#they had this one person but 30 minutes before shooting the people from el hormiguero had called him#he was originally going to go both to la revuelta and el hormiguero#but the guys from el hormiguero called him to tell him that if he went to la revuelta he couldn't go to el hormiguero#el hormiguero is bigger than la revuelta so. he had to cancel#broncano went on to say this had happened before and that's why he was talking about it

In the context of the City of LA's 3.2 Billion dollar police budget this isn't just cruel it's fucking obscene. If you live in the city I recommend yelling at your piece of shit council person (or if you live in Districts 1, 4, or 13: your council person) about this deeply immoral decision about how they're spending our god damned dollars.

as much as i love participating in FIRST and FRC i can't help but feel so dissapointed at how,,, usamerican it is. like its this super cool competition marketed as this "wow were giving kids steam tools to become the better versions of themselves!!" but then you look a little into it and theyre sponsored by the cia and the us department of defense and boeing and bae systems and so on, litteral groups who profit from mass death and you start to see it isnt really for making future scientists who will fix the world or something its just to make more american military complex workers. why waste your precious engineering skills doing something useless like helping others when you can help us make bigger and worse bombs! but #womeninstem so its okay guys

had the scariest experience today; the crazy white supremacist who has been lurking at the fringes of my Irish language program started a fight about trans people and violently attacked some of the left wing Canadian men on our university program bus right in front of me and my housemates while the bus was driving down the road and loudly screamed about “f*ggots”. He’s apparently been writing screeds on twitter about the program ever since the working class Irish professor from London with socialist Irish republican politics gave the opening lecture for the program about learning a minoritized language in a postcolonial context
#we’ve been aware of his politics bc one of the guys found his twitter early on and warned the program leaders about him#I hope he’s been removed from the area. the teacher was calling the gardai#we are all so freaked out bc most of the rest of us are all like very left wing Irish learners with several lgbt members among us

Do y'all think Markus manipulated North into liking him (also gaining her trust in the process) and that also being kinda part of his program?
Why someone with a difficult past would engage in a romantical relationship with the newest guy on town just cuz she got finally heard (in a way)?
Listen, I know the script didn't have Marla as romantical interest. Actually Markus had a human romantic interest but they cut it and pasted the romance in Marla's character, becoming North. We all know it's terrible adapted and the bigger logical part is missed also cuz a relevant part of Markus dev was also cut, that's common sense.
But I'm curious. It's the released version, after all.
