i've had the idea of drawing what my ocs would look like if they were in @laikascomet for a while now, but i only just realized that i HAD to do it with these four specifically because they are LITERALLY named after mars rovers
i also decided to imitate the artstyle used for the comic the best i can, just for fun! it was actually really fun to do this. i love laikas comet so much you have no idea

Just got back from my yearly hunting trip down to Indiana to hunt with Darren. We hunted Friday night and got one raccoon out to Ember.
The next day Darren's friend Andrew joined us, we hunted LC, Ember, and Cinder and shot fifteen squirrels, each of us limited out. It was a blast. That night we got three raccoons to Sasha (forgot to get a picture).
This morning we did a short hunt and managed three squirrels with Kilbe, Cinder, and Roxy. During the last hunt we got Cinder started on roading by putting her out with Kilbe. She surprised me by picking it up quickly and was able to road solo after just one session. I thought the truck would scare her but she did good.
I always look forward to this trip and have a great time each year, it's one of my favorite things to do.

OHH BOY
1) i just sighed, i just sighed just so you know by los campesinos - i promise i will only make you listen to one lc song anyway this one is sooo good. its about a guy who misses his ex and the universe tells him to get over it also the guy is maybe transgender.
2) Neighbourhood #2 (laika) by arcade fire - i know i go on about this one sooo much but like seriously its maybe my fav song of all time. i'd go on but i already yelled abt it here
3) strangers by car seat headrest - csh have a style that either clicks with you or it doesnt. this is my favourite of their songs its very messy and the audio is deliberately weird but i like it sooo much the lyrics r so good so i recommend listening to it while reading them.
