Hmm....how hard can large scale mosaic possibly be? I feel like my plans for the room I'm working on could use something really shiny and impactful and maybe I want to make a fold-down cutting table and maybe I want to do it out of mosaic, even though that will be ungodly heavy.
It's a fun idea. I'm not sure if it's a good idea.
I haven't done mosaic since a one-off high school art class but I feel like the component skills are ones I already have, sooooo....
I have been keeping to a blue and gold celestial theme for both my guest room and my art workspaces, because if and when I move those spaces are likely to be combined. Cutting table, even though it would be for a different room, falls in the same vein, so I'm thinking something with a nice dark night sky and maybe some branches or leaves...

Useful links for (graphic) design
'sup folks, I've compiled a list of links of websites and tools that are useful for designing stuff! They're divided in different sections.
FONTS - All of them are free and easy to use, unless otherwise stated.
https://www.freefaces.gallery/
https://www.fontshare.com/
https://dirtylinestudio.com/freebies/ (These are the free versions only for personal use, so no selling stuff with it)
https://velvetyne.fr/
https://usemodify.com/ (Make sure to check the license to see if it's free to use)
COLORS - Helps you pick colors in different ways
https://colourcontrast.cc/ (Helps you see if your font and colors provide enough contrast)
https://picular.co/ (Type a prompt and it will give you colors associated with that prompt)
https://pigment.shapefactory.co/ (Gives you a wide selection of dual color palette's that have a lot of contrast)
https://t-o-n-e.com/ (Gives you color palette's that have the 60-30-10 applied to it)
LOGO INSPIRATION- Searching for logo inspiration
https://logosystem.co/ (Gives you a big variety of logo's)
https://dribbble.com/search/logo (Dribbble also shows other stuff than logo's)
GENERAL USEFUL LINKS - As the name says
https://freedesignresources.net/ (Here you can find a lor of free stuff like vectors, images, font's etc.)
I'm going to update as I learn and use more of them later down the line on this website that I made: https://design-links.carrd.co/ .

I'm really proud of the personal essay that opens Transgender Deathmatch Legend II. It explains my personal history with wrestling, and my issues with it, as well as going into what wrestling meant to me (as both a fan and a performer) and what this meant for the game.
Like I said, very proud of it, though I would recommend checking the content warnings.
The essay includes some material adapted from a work-in-progress character comedy show I never fully realised (Kayla MacQuarrie: Crossface). This is a game that there's a lot of myself in. It's in the design and the scenarios, but also in how I've chosen to present the book, and my physical presence in it.
Anyway please follow the BackerKit. I'll be like, so sad if this flops.

I've always disagreed with "digital art is so easy, you have an undo button" but I know now more than ever that digital art has a huge learning curve since I'm fighting for my life over here just trying to memorize all these fuckening buttons while coping with icons the size of ants
Also I realized while typing this that they make erasers? Like in real life??

i use csp on my tablet all the time but tbh i'm kinda pissed that i pay yearly what i paid for the windows version on pc that i almost never open bc i can't get it to work smoothly (and my computer isn't the problem)... like.. i know about the updates and ok, do that if you've concluded that it's the best for you, but i wish there was a one time puchase option if you don't care about all the updates bc, tbh i probably use 10% of csp's potential mdrr...
but i definitely can't do everything i need to do with just procreate so :I
anyways.. it's been the same thing forever, i've never been able to find ONE software that has it all, and i just have to use 3 (and another one i don't pay for 🙄)
[i was gonna say that in the tags but !!!! try csp for free before you buy it !!!!!!!!!!!!! just asking around isn't enough... see if your pc can run it, and if you can get the pens to work smoothly first !!!]

its crazy how much work you guys have been putting in, what with everything else life throws at you!! bravo!! remember to take breaks!!
Yup! And it's only the two of us working on this! And uploading and sharing to this blog!
But also you have no idea how much life stuff gets thrown.... Out of the two of us.
For me this project is a break from the said life stuff i'm juggling. I'm able to sit down after work or just a really rough day of life things and just create, write, draw, and share with my best friend!
Honestly we have both been so busy we haven't been able to touch upon the core of the project (We have been handling all of there events first. We are just scrapping the surface of putting together the main core -- the station itself!)
But yes! We will conduct our safety check and take breaks. It is important to not get burn-out especially on a project like this..
Though... I think we are just too eager and excited to be burned out. (And there's a lot we have to get done! FULL STEAM!!!)
But thank you so much for the kind words. I'm really glad a lot of people are excited just as we are for this.
