Got 6 pack of Happy Hour Miniverse and so here's Mako drinking on a Saturday night.
Why only four? One of those in the set was a double of the Moscow mule and I already have the "Old Fashioned" set.

So when miniverse rolled out the drink kits, I knew I wanted to give mine a bit of sparkle! I love drinks with glitter in them, and y'all know well my love for borealis dice. So, here's my take on the lavender gin&tonic! (I also added blackberries because that sounded really delicious to me)

pairing: jeong jaehyun x fem!reader song choice: silver bells - dean martin word count: 1.5 k PEACH & PINE MASTERPOST
It is the day before Christmas Eve, and the family is preparing to visit your in-laws for a special holiday gathering tomorrow. Jaehyun carefully sifted icing sugar into a large bowl while you leaned over the counter, rolling out cookie dough with Teo by your side. The kitchen buzzed with energy and the smell of vanilla and cinnamon.
âTeo, do you want to cut out the stars or the trees?â you asked, holding up the cookie cutters.
âStars!â Teo shouted, grabbing the cutter with more enthusiasm than precision. His hand wobbled a bit as he pressed it into the dough, and you smiled at him and his determination.
Jaehyun glanced up from his sifting, watching his son in action. âThatâs a solid star, buddy,â he said, placing a tray next to Teo, though his grin suggested otherwise. Teoâs apron was smeared with flour and hung slightly crooked; it was a gift from his grandparents that was already seeing plenty of love. âThese cookies will definitely be⊠unique,â Jaehyun chuckled, shaking his head as Teo went back for another star.
While the cookies baked, you got everything ready to prepare a pistachio dacquoise, one of Jaehyunâs favorite desserts. Meanwhile, Jaehyun and Teo were making icing of different colors for the cookies. After they cooled, you decorated them with icing and sprinkles. Jaehyun took a moment to reflect; in the hustle and bustle of your busy lives, this intimate family time was a treasureâthe laughter, the messy kitchen, and seeing you and Teo smile.
âMommy, can we make cookies for Santa too?â Teo asked, looking at you with his big and cute eyes. âOf course! He deserves the best cookies!â You replied, pinching his cheek.
Once the cookies were ready, you packed them in cute, festive boxes. The sweet scent wafted through the house, making your mouths water in anticipation. âTomorrow is going to be amazing!â Teo exclaimed joyfully.
Just then, Jaehyun kneeled down to Teoâs level and said with a chuckle, âYouâve worked hard today, baby. I think you should have a bath. Youâre covered in flour and icing!â Teo giggled, glancing down at his messy hands.
After helping Teo clean up and getting him to bed, Jaehyun headed downstairs to do the dishes while you were finishing up the things for the dacquoise. He dried his hands on a towel and turned to you. âHey, love, how about a bath after all this baking?â Jaehyunâs voice was soft as he wrapped his arms around you from behind. âI can throw in one of those bath bombs you love and brew you a nice cup of tea.â
You leaned back slightly into his chest, sighing in contentment. âThat sounds perfect. But maybe I need something stronger than tea tonight⊠How about a gin and grapefruit tonic?â
Jaehyun paused for a moment, a playful grin spreading across his face. âIâll get that ready while you finish up here.â He pressed a quick kiss to the top of your head before heading to the kitchen.
Later, as you sank into the bath, the soothing scent of lavender surrounded you. Jaehyun walked in with two glasses, a playful glint in his eyes. âHereâs your drink, madam,â he teased, offering the glass with a slight bow. You laughed, rolling your eyes at his antics.
âEverything okay?â he asked softly.
âYeah, perfect,â you said, your smile easing into something quiet and content. Reaching out, you gently tugged him closer, and he leaned down, meeting you halfway for a kiss that lingered just enough to make the moment feel whole.
As you sipped your drink, you said to him, âYou always know how to take care of me.â
âAnd I love to take care of you,â he said, his eyes sparkling. âHow about I join you?â
As stories and laughter flowed, the world outside faded away, leaving just the two of you in your little paradise.
Christmas Eve arrived with a fresh layer of snow covering the streets of Seoul, the kind that makes everything feel quiet and new. You, Jaehyun, and Teo bundled up in your winter coats, laughing as Teo attempted to catch snowflakes on his tongue outside Jaehyunâs parentsâ house.
When you stepped inside, the warmth hit you instantly. The smell of cinnamon and apples mingled with the sound of holiday music, while Bomi the dog yapped excitedly, circling Teo.
Jihoon and Miyoung greeted you both with wide smiles and warm hugs. Teo rushed forward, carefully presenting the cookies to his grandparents. âWe made this just for you!â he exclaimed, his voice brimming with pride. âTeo, these look wonderful!â Miyoung exclaimed as Teo showed them the cookies with pride, though a few were a bit misshapen from his enthusiastic cutting earlier.
âMerry Christmas Eve!â Jaehyun said, pulling his mother into a hug. His father ruffled Teoâs hair, laughing as the boy beamed up at them, clearly enjoying the attention.
âMerry Christmas Eve!â Miyoung beamed, ushering Jaehyun and you inside. âItâs so wonderful to see you!â She said to you, wrapping you in a hug.
âHappy Holidays!â Jihoon added with his dimpled smile. âWeâre glad you could join us!â
The dining table was a beautiful sight, adorned with a festive tablecloth and decorated with a centerpiece made of pinecones and holly. The family gathered around and began setting the table together, placing the cookies and the beautifully decorated pistachio dacquoise alongside some Korean dishes, like tteokguk.Â
As everyone settled down for dinner, Miyoung began sharing heartwarming stories from their time in the US. Teo listened intently, with Bomi curled up at his feet.
As the warmth of the home wrapped around you all, Miyoung turned to you. âSweetie, howâs your family doing? Weâve missed hearing about them.â
You smiled, your eyes shining with fond memories. âTheyâre doing fine, thank you! Everyoneâs busy with their own lives, but we keep in touch. I really hope to see them soon.â
Jihoon nodded, encouragingly. âSend them our greetings! We wish them a merry Christmas and a great year. Any plans to visit?â
âHopefully, yes!â you replied, excitement creeping into your voice. âIâm trying to plan a trip back home soon. We could go together; my house is big enough for everyone!â
Miyoungâs face brightened instantly. âThat would be amazing! Weâve heard so much about your countryâand the nature there, it sounds incredible!â
After the meal, Jaehyun and Miyoung decided it was time for some music. They moved to the grand piano in the living room, and as Miyoung began to play a cheerful Christmas melody, Jaehyun joined in, harmonizing beautifully. The music wove through the room, drawing everyone closer together.
As the night drew on, the house hummed with energy, the fireplace casting a soft, golden glow. Jihoon raised his glass, his voice calm and steady. âTo family, to love, and to all the little things that make moments like these last,â he said with a smile, his eyes meeting each of yours.
Teo couldnât sit still any longer. He hopped off his chair to start the gift exchange. One by one, the presents were unwrapped, each followed by laughter and playful teasing.
âTeo, you outdid yourself this year,â Jaehyun said as Teo handed out a final package to his grandparents with a flourish. It wasnât the most neatly wrapped present, but the joy on his face made it perfect.
As the evening drew to a close, Jihoon and Miyoung gathered you, Jaehyun, and Teo in the living room for a warm goodbye. âThank you for a lovely evening!â you said, your heart full. âWe had such a great time.â
Once outside, Jaehyun gently carried the sleeping Teo in his arms while you held onto the bags filled with gifts. As you arrived home, you tiptoed into the living room to avoid waking the little one.
âLetâs put the gifts under the tree,â you whispered, a hint of excitement lighting up your expression.
As you carefully placed each gift beneath the beautifully decorated tree, you suddenly remembered something. âJay, you have to eat the cookies and drink the milk!â
Jaehyun chuckled, his stomach full from the delightful dinner. âBaby, I canât. Iâm too full.â
You pouted playfully. âBut we have to! Teo will get sad if he sees them untouched! Iâll eat the cookies; you drink the milk.â
âWhy canât you drink the milk?â Jaehyun asked, raising an eyebrow.
âJaehyun, I can tell itâs whole milk,â you replied with a teasing smile. âI only drink plant-based!â
âFine! Iâll drink the milk; you eat the cookies.â Jaehyun gave in, shaking his head with a grin.
With laughter echoing through the room, you carried on with the little holiday traditionâsharing cookies and milk and making sure Teo would wake up to a delightful surprise in the morning. The cozy warmth of the evening stayed with you, a perfect prelude to the magic of the Christmas ahead.

So, Rollo is a wine guy and Leona + Yuu like cocktails?
Leona likes Vodka and Bourbon, his favorites being White Russian and Maple Bourbon Smash.
Yuu loves Vodka, hers are Lychee Martini and Lavender Vodka Lemonade.
Rollo favors wine, but he also likes gin, if does order gin, it's normally Gin and Tonic or Negroni.

Top five beverages?
I feel like I may have answered this one before somewhere in the mists of time, but that doesn't mean I can't do it again.
1. Hot chocolate. I tend toward liking a more milky hot chocolate than a richer one closer to drinking chocolate, which I feel like is unpopular, but my main strong hot chocolate opinion is that hot chocolate made with water is invalid. Very much looking forward to winter so I can have an excuse to make hot chocolate again.
2. Hot apple cider. It's got to be the really spicy stuff, though; if it's too sweet I can't accept it. Even when I get stuff from the store that's pretty good I usually still steep it with extra spices anyway.
3. Creme de la Earl Grey tea from Portal Tea. Very specific but very important to me. I drink at least two cups of this pretty much daily. It's delicious.
4. These have all been hot beverages (which is because I really like hot beverages) but to shake it up a little - I've gotten really into Fever Tree's Sicilian Lemonade mixer/soda. It's nice and tart and I just drink it straight (as opposed to using it for a mixer, which I think is possibly the original intent). It also comes in nice small bottles, which is convenient, if only in sets of four, which is less convenient and not terribly cost effective.
5. To put one alcoholic one on here, I'm going to cheat and say herbal cocktails with gin. It's a wide range, though I'm particularly fond of ones with lavender or rosemary. But there's a very easy elderflower gin and tonic that I really like. I should make myself one of those. Or possibly not, considering the current state of the mood.

healthcare event day: new lanyards, new enemies -- Pharma would love this shit
had to go to a healthcare conference
they were giving out lavender gin and brie crackers, like astonishingly good snacks and booze (probably because a lot of consultants were present lmao)
everyone got drunk and the hepatologists got mad about it
anyway two docs got in a verbal fight in the hallway which got pretty loud (all I know is that it was an argument about a research project)
you can't tell me Ratchet and Pharma wouldn't be the two docs fighting at the professional event lmao
also they really gave everyone a lot of gin, the tonic seemed to be optional. like straight up shots. you'd think they wouldn't do this at a healthcare thing but I think the organisers were just excited about hosting something in London so they went overboard LOL
I can imagine some event in Iacon going roughly the same way, they want to schmooze with the big city medics so they accidentally-on-purpose get everyone wasted on unreasonably good engex in order to make sure everyone has a good time (this does not work, it only results in pettiness and/or arguing, lmao)
like usually they'll have Prosecco or something served moderately, but this was fucking shots of gin. which is hilarious.
maybe it's because it's Saturday so they felt bad about having everyone show up on a weekend, I have no idea. almost all of us work every weekend anyway lol.
nothing is funnier than watching med professionals get increasingly drunk and somewhat agitated with one another over the course of several hours while still having to pretend to be more or less professional
like you can't cause too much of a scene in the lecture hall, but as soon as everyone's mingling in the reception area, everyone groups into their various specialities and starts WILDLY SHIT TALKING
Pharma would be a shit-talker. Ratchet would be consistently agitated the entire time, and would get into arguments over health service logistics and solutions to staff retention problems, among other things.
First Aid would be the one trying to make sure that nobody from their institution embarrasses themselves too badly in front of anyone from any of the other institutions, in between trying to network with said other institutions.
Ambulon would be three shots of engex deep by the second speaker, but still taking some pretty good notes the whole time while actively avoiding having to speak with anyone else.
Velocity would be extremely nervous but ultimately would raise some good questions during the Q&A session. She would also immediately utilise any stickers in the swag bag to decorate her datapad, but then panic because now she has to shove all the blank sticker papers into her bag since there's no trash receptacle around, which makes it rustle really loudly.
anyway I'm going to take a nap now, I ate a whole fucking block of brie at this thing

Forget Me Not is not just a ginâŠ
Itâs an opportunity to support the arts and acknowledge the positive contribution creative industries make to society.
Literature, visual and performance art touches our lives daily. Sadly, arts funding everywhere has been cut over the past decade, affecting many artists at the outset of their careers. We want to help plug the funding gap so that tomorrowâs important artists get the support they need to reach their full potential.
See our Projects section for more information on how we will use profits from Forget Me Not to support arts programmes around the world.
CaitrĂona Balfe x
Our Projects
We will regularly update you with information on the arts projects we are funding from our profits. We are proud that our first project has been to sponsor the SWG3 Graduate Programme.
The SWG3 Graduate Programme is a 12-month sponsored studio residency and commissioning programme open to artists and designers each year. The programme has been running since 2005 when SWG3 and has become one of the most sought after opportunities in the UK for creatives to continue to develop their practice after higher education.
SWG3âs accessible approach to the arts, and their focus on early stage support for creative talent has enabled over 60 graduates to date to benefit from their studio programme, and go on to become established, successful practitioners.
The application process opens every September, and is available to all current year graduates and leavers from arts and creative industry practical courses who can show a studio based approach to their work, and a real commitment to their practice.
PROJECT 1
Amanda SeibĂŠk
Amanda SeibĂŠk is a Danish artist who works across painting and printmaking.
As a graduate of Glasgow School of Art, SeibĂŠk works with autotheory â connecting multiple fields of knowledge, never deeming any irrelevant for her explorations. This she uses as a tool to describe turmoil in contemporary life though a more poetic lens. The subject rages from neuroscience through to mundane weekend tales told by her friends.
Materially, SeibĂŠk connects the mediums of painting and printmaking. She sees colours in layers and with colours she shapes her figures. When connecting print and paint she tries to develop a language where print is not locked, but rather freed by the brush as a playful tool to make sense of something intuitive.
An unforgettable taste

Jeongyeon didn't want to close her eyes. Not yet. If she closed her eyes, the next day would come rolling in, and nothing would be solved.
It was half an hour to midnight and she, the resident early sleeper, was still awake. Or rather, forcing herself to be awake.
Now normally this would only happen if she was: up late in solidarity with Jihyo and her studies (she wasnât), or up to something with Nayeon or Momo or both (she wasnât doing that either). Well⊠there was the secret third option, featuring Jeongyeon tucked away in the back corner of the bar chasing bitter problems down with a swig of tonic.
And trust her, she wanted to do that last one badly.
But she just couldnât. Not when she was subjected to sleep on stiff cushions with a crick in her neck. When not even the low chatter of the tv could comfort her.
Truthfully, she was afraid of making any noise. Having her presence be as undetectable as possible would hopefully do something while she thought endlessly of a solution. But all she could muster was staring down at her hands, wringing them in her lap.
The anxiety built and built, until she was about a second away from getting up for a quick nightwalk around the block. But there was a creaking from behind her, one that made her freeze mid-movement.
Had she done that? Was she the one making noise when she was trying so hard not to? Shit. She hadnât even escaped yet-
She kept herself frozen but the creaking kept going, drawing itself out for an uncomfortable amount of seconds. So unless her heart was beating so hard it shook the couch, it couldnât be her.
Obviously, it wasnât.
It was⊠Jihyo. Who actually was just as awake as Jeongyeon was. No projects or anything involved.
She was all folded up in her fluffy lavender bathrobe, arms wrapped tight around her body. Strange since Jeongyeon made sure the heat was perfect forâŠ
The earlier visit.
âAre you doing ok?â Jihyo asked, suddenly standing much closer to the couch. Her glasses had taken the place of her contacts, the lights of the tv dancing in them, changing shades of blue and gray. It was hard to see Jihyoâs eyes behind them, but Jeongyeon didnât really need to.
Her lingering gaze still spoke volumes.
âIâm fine,â Jeongyeon decided to answer, âUh⊠how are you doing?â She tried to smile as she twisted around on the couch, but a sharp twinge struck her back and stopped her again.
Jihyoâs grimace matched her own. âStressed and couldnât sleep. But Iâm⊠alright.â
Her hair swept around her cheeks as she reangled her head, bringing more of her face in view.
And, ok, maybe Jeongyeon had read her wrong just a bit, not realizing the extent of her troubles. Her reddened eyes glimmered in a way Jeongyeon hadnât seen in ages. Stress, sadness, worry. So it shocked her when she asked, âActually⊠are you sure youâre ok?â
The question bounced Jeongyeon up from the solid stone of the couch, sitting up more alertly. âMe? Yeah.
âBut youâre⊠out here, and not in bed.â A choice of her own, and not of Jihyoâs doing.
âI know Iâm just⊠everythingâs fine.â Even without the gin, Jeongyeonâs throat was on fire.
With the way Jihyo was staring at her, with her intensity, as if she had just smacked her across the face and sat back down like nothing⊠Jeongyeon wanted to apologize for every single thing right then and there.
âEverythingâs⊠fine?⊠Yeah ok, sure.â
A shuffle of footsteps, a sharp intake of breath and Jihyo was stomping her way into the kitchen. That tone of voice was anything but good, and leaving the scene wasnât any better.
Sheâd really fucked this up, hadnât she?
Seconds turned into minutes, and Jihyo still wasnât back. The tv and the sound of running water. Running water and Jeongyeonâs own breath and beating heart. Her beating heart and the sound of dishes clattering around.
To wait for Jihyo to come back or go after her?
If she went after her, chances were theyâd argue. Jeongyeon would seem like a threatening pursuer. And if they argued, Jeongyeon would end up on the couch by Jihyoâs choice, not her own.
So staying there was the best option, right? Wringing her hands like she had been doing before, only now Jihyo was making enough noise clattering in the kitchen for Jeongyeon to move around.
And Jeongyeon sat there. Because what else could she do? If Jihyo ignored her when she came back, it was deserved. She was under pressure earlier, sure, but it she couldâve handled it better.
Sana⊠she really didnât mean any harm-
âFuck.â
Jihyo walked back in from the kitchen, hot tea dripping down her fist from her mug. That one was too small for her liking, and the handle was too tight to the cup. So often the glazed blue of the outside was tinted brown from spills. It was a pretty mug, but such a hassle to use. Which is why Jeongyeon had bought her a much larger one on their last trip to Jeju.
But Jihyo hadnât picked that one out.
âYou⊠are you mad at me?â Jeongyeon couldnât help but ask. She didnât mean to sound and look like a whining wet dog while she asked it. It was really unlike her.
And even more unlike Jihyo was the shaky hold she had on her mug. A few more drips glided down the side, staining its color before splattering onto the hardwood floor.
âCan I be real with you Jeongyeon?â
Of course she nodded her head. Even if it meant the worst was approaching.
âIâm not mad, Iâm⊠disappointed. I asked you how you felt and youâve been saying youâre ok when clearly you arenât. And I want to talk these things out. Or at least, at the very least, just tell me the bare minimum of whatâs going on in your head. Canât you tell me anything?â
Without thinking, Jeongyeon rose from the couch, fully facing Jihyo. She stood there dumbly, knowing she looked even dumber in a tank top and dog paw printed boxers.
âPlease babe?â Jihyo begged, âCanât we talk?â
She wanted to. She really wanted toâŠ
But she couldnât. Not when she couldnât even explain her own actions. How could she say how she felt about Sana when she didnât even know what to think of her?
âOk fine. Fine,â her silence was the answer Jihyo didnât want, âIf you canât say anything now, whatever. I canât keep begging for an answer when Iâm not going to get one.â
Jihyo stormed out of the room so fast it knocked Jeongyeon back on her ass. The couch was barely a cushion or comfort, but that was the last thing on her mind as her thoughts raced.
This wasnât an argument but, fuck, it was so much worse. She wanted to talk, but about anything else other than the day they had or feelings or how mad Jihyo was at her. And definitely not about Sana.
She should call someone⊠but who? Who should she call? Who could she call? The voices on the tv really werenât comforting her. Now they were just annoying, buzzing in her head and she needed something. Anything else to drown them out. Just someone to-
âHello? Jeong?â
âŠWhen had her phone gotten into her hand? When had she dialed and⊠who?
âMina⊠why are you up?â
âWell⊠youâre the one who called me. Why are you up?â
âI just⊠wanted to talk.â
âI see⊠well you should know Iâm not the person you should be going to first.â
Of course. She knew that. But she had already fucked up talking to the person she loved most.
âAre you ok? Whatâs going on with you Jeong? Hm?â
That was the hot question of the night, wasnât it? âI donât know. I really donât.â
âDo you want to talk tomorrow? I was just getting ready for bed. The meds Momoâs on have her drained, but her sinuses have cleared up at least⊠sheâs probably half asleep waiting for me.â
ââŠâ
âUnless you still need me right now I can-â
âNo, thatâs ok,â she couldnât inconvenience another couple tonight (especially on the night of whatever⊠arrangement these two had), âDonât keep Momo waiting.â
âAre you sure youâre alright?â
âYeah Iâm ok.â Really her voice was enough to keep her grounded in the moment.
âIf you say so. Donât be afraid to call tomorrow if you need. Or come over if things become too much⊠Itâll be alright, ok? Just get some sleep.â
Jeongyeon went through the motions of saying goodbye, hanging onto Minaâs last few words for comfort.
A deep breath in. A deep breath out.
Well she was grounded⊠and alone again.
The couch was painfully solid. The tv buzzed with laughter from a late night program. She stared into the screen, passively listening to the cheerful voices until her vision blurred with water.
Tear after tear of hot anger slipped down her face until sleep caught up with her, and she couldnât even find it in herself to be angry anymore.

ginger ale because I think Nueng was studying abroad in England, but if not . . . it is what it is
brown sugar and lime juice on the rim for class differences
Sun & Stars - Star in My Mind (7/10)
gin & tonic to balance the bitter and sweet of Daonuea and Khabkluen's dynamic

more white wine for all the whining and pining the Gun and Tinn did
lemons, limes, oranges, grapes, and apple slices for the sweetness overload (I was going to comment about the variation of fruits, but I don't know the crowd's feelings on the word, so . . . *takes a big sip directly from the bottle*)

Daisy Fun-Time Lemon Gin
Codex Entry
Not everything in Antiva is murder, murder, murder. This juniper spirit is flavored with local flowers and fruit, served with tonic and only the merest, most necessary dash of murder.
Ingredients
2 oz gin
1 oz jasmine syrup
1/2 oz lemon juice
2 oz soda water
2-3 dashes of a floral bitters (about 9 drops)
Preparation
Add to mixing glass with ice and stir until chilled
Strain into a coupe or Nick and Nora glass
Garnish with a lemon twist and an edible flower or two
Serve with a murderous gaze
Specific Ingredients in this photograph
Gin: Empress 1908 Indigo gin
Syrup: Bacanha jasmine syrup
Bitters: Bittercube Jamaican No. 2 (now renamed Grapefruit Hibiscus)
Notes
The recipe above is based on a classic gin daisy
Another floral syrup can be substituted, but rose or lavender may overpower the flavor (I would like to try orange blossom soon, though)
See Additional Veilguard Cocktails (most still to come)
AmmazzacaffĂš | Daisy Fun-Time Lemon Gin | Dew of the Dales | Grappaling Hook | Qun on the Rocks | Vint-6 the Common Red
Outtakes
I found the tea towel too distracting for the final image, but I'm including these for fun.

Winning Gin Fizz
In preparation for the first games of the Professional Womens Hockey League (PWHL) I am testing out cocktails for each team that hopefully will make an appearance at my watch party. Next up I am making a drink for the Montreal Victoire.
After a dry spell in research on food specialties in the regions of some other PWHL teams, Montreal came forward with a bang. There were so many incredible reviews and articles on the food scene in Montreal I'm almost considering buying tickets to visit just for this one cool organic wine bar I saw. Anyway, in my research two words kept coming up; sweet and complex. For the main alcohol I went with gin, because the logo of Montreal gave me art deco vibes and when I think of that time period gin is one of the alcohols I think of. The St.Germain is for that French influence and also is the perfect addition. This drink has a lot going on but it all works out. Make sure the botanicals of the gin work with everything else you have going on. I used empress 1908, a really cool Canadian gin that's more floral than juniper berry. But any contemporary gin should work, just avoid a London dry.
In a highball glass add in some iceÂ
Then pour in:
2 ounces ginÂ
Âœ ounce St GermainÂ
œ ounce honey lavender simple syrup
1 ounce lemon juice
2 ounces bubbly wine like prosecco or champagneÂ
Fill it to the top with tonic water. Stir, sprinkle on some extra lavender buds, and enjoy.Â
For a mocktail you will want to go with an elderflower tonic water. Add in some lemon juice and the honey lavender syrup. Sprinkle on those lavender buds and enjoy the game!
