I feel like there’s a lot of talk abt how little interaction self ship artists get but as someone who posts art and has attempted to post fics, my art does like 100% better than my fics. Even if my art only gets like five notes and two are me rbing it, that’s better than the zero notes that the two attempts at posting fics got.

I see self ship art reblogged by people daily but l rarely see fics reblogged by people who aren’t the og writers. I just think writers deserve a little more praise for that. Writings hard and putting it on the internet for everyone to see is even harder, especially when it’s something as personal as self shipping.
