The Ultimate Orange Muffins
Hello everyone! So, previously, there has been some discussion on this blog about trying out several different orange muffin recipes on the quest to find the best Art Heist, Baby! James (and Regulus Black approved) Orange Muffin™️ ever made. I am now ready to begin this journey and will document my research and discoveries along the way! Please feel free to follow along on this orange muffin journey!
Starting Information:
I will be working my way through orange muffin recipes at least once a month (maybe twice if I can manage and have people to pawn muffins off on! We will see!)
The goal is to try at least 10 different iterations of orange muffins which i will rank (1-5) on skill (how easy is it to make, how many/what types of ingredients/ special tools you need, how long it takes), orange and overall flavor (arbitrary but it's my muffin bracket so idc!), and texture (consistency, moisture, idk, like, crumble factor)
After giving each recipe an overall score, the top scoring muffin will be crowned The Art Heist, Baby! Orange Muffin (James' version).
If you wish for your orange muffins to be included in the running, please feel free to send along your recipe and I will add it to the docket to bake! 😋
If you want to follow along with these bakes and form your own opinion, I will post all the recipes here for you to try!
All that being said...Here is the first recipe and rank for September's bake! ✨
Chai Orange Muffins!
Ingredients: 🍊 3/4 cup Oil 🍊 1 cup Sugar 🍊 2 Eggs 🍊 1 tsp. Vanilla 🍊 1/3 cup Chai tea latte concentrate (store bought or make your own!) 🍊 1 and 1/2 cups Flour 🍊 1 tsp. Salt 🍊 1 tsp. Baking soda 🍊 2 Tbsp. Orange zest, grated
Directions: Set oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line 12 muffin cups with paper liners. Combine oil, sugar, eggs, vanilla, and Chai Concentrate. In a separate bowl, stir together the flour, salt, baking soda and orange zest. Blend in the oil mixture and stir lightly. Pour into muffin cups. Bake for 15 to 25 minutes. Serves 12.
Extra: I also made a chai glaze to put on top of the muffins which is optional but here is the recipe for that as well!
🍊 1 cup of powdered sugar 🍊 2 tbsp of chai concentrate 🍊 1 tsp of vanilla 🍊 1 tsp of cinnamon
Directions: Stir until glaze consistency and add more chai concentrate as needed! Wait till muffins are cooled to add the glaze.
Ranking:
Skill: 4 (Super easy to make! Had all of the ingredients at home to make besides the chai concentrate! Just needed a bowl, a fork and a muffin tin really. Kinda hard to nail down a set bake time though. The recipe said 10-15 minutes mine needed like 25.) Flavor: 4.5 (The chai is so wonderful and it doesn't overpower the orange flavor. Muffins are good with or without the glaze. Can definitely taste the orange!) Texture: 4 (So yum. Not dry! bUT some cooked a little unevenly (that's on me ik but shush). Also they don't really have a good muffin top. They're more flat like a cupcake so I deducted some points for the aesthetic. Sorry!) FINAL RANKING: 4.2/5
Final Thoughts: The muffins are good! Almost more of a dessert muffin because they are very sweet! But they're a strong contender for my favorite already because I love chai, and the muffins made my entire house smell so lovely. A slay! (Would Regulus be able to stack several of these on his plate and save them for later though??? Kinda doubt it. So we continue on!) ✨ Tune in next time for my "Bakery Style Orange Muffin" Bake! Recipe posted here for reference! 😋 ✨
#ahb! orange muffin bracket#there's a lot here y'all!#had a lot of information to cover! but next time it'll be more condensed!#yes i baked these muffins 2day and yes my dad has already had 3 of them so that's proof they slay btw#send me ur recipes if you want me to try them out!#only requirement is that they have to be orange muffins first and foremost ! <3

woke up from the best sleep ever but didn't have time to laze in bed because i had to get ready for brunch with mom and her elderly friends. slayed my eyeliner and i liked my outfit but caught my reflection in a window as the day passed and lowkey... i was giving pregnant woman in a long flowy dress.. idgaf!
we went to tommy café the food was alright. i love coffee, especially iced americanos. the two elderly women walked so slow but i think they are adorable so i tried to bear with it. my mom looked very pretty it made me worry about her health and the future. felt like i was forcing myself to be cheery the whole day but like they say it's 'fake it till you make it'!
was taking a dump in the public toilets when i suddenly got really depressed. can't stop having the feeling like i own none of my emotions. my happiness depends on outside factors, my anger too. for the longest time i felt like sadness was the only emotion i owned cause it felt like i was able to be sad from within and to a warped extent, that comforted me. but now i think i don't own that either. everything about life is so social and it scares me. even the fear i feel is created by something outside of myself... when i got an iced pumpkin spice chai latte from starbucks i instantly felt better, i'm a simple girl.
anyways i had sushi at night that my mom bought, she said we need to eat sashimi before the Japanese government poisons the whole goddamn ocean.
wrote my resignation and applied to 2 new jobs. i feel relieved but part of me is anxious.
goodnight, i can't wait to go shopping with my friend tomorrow!!

Week 4
(the curse of snatch game hits again)
Hibiki does wigs with Nessa you know he won
And this time the challenge is Snatch Game and in the new update each character gets to show the celebrity they're impersonating but I don't get most of these references because I'm not American
James doing Celine is ominous though because last time Celine was done on the show it was a flop (my headcanon is that he's impersonating Piers)
Kasai slays the challenge because we already know he's really good at impersonating people and Peter wants to keep up his winning streak so he's extra determined
Everyone else does a solid job so it's anyone's game as to who's gonna join Kasai and Peter in the top and who's gonna be in the bottom and the runway will be an important factor
The runway results are out and James does great as usual and Sanctus bombs the one category you'd think she'd specifically do well at what is going on
Sanctus is safe though and if you see that question right in the bottom you know the drama is happening
Kasai throws his greatgrandmother under the bus for some reason probably to help Hibiki, Peter points out that Hibiki's not doing a good job this season and James says that Hibiki's pretty which he takes as a compliment
Everyone else rightfully points out that he's not doing that good but then he comes for blood and calls James a bitch we LOVE drama
Kasai shows us that he's the KING of improv while Peter's a close second and Mercury takes third place like a legend
Which interestingly means that James is in the bottom despite having an excellent runway
He does get saved though and Sarana falls in the bottom with Hibiki
who's kinda fucked because james and sarana are the frontrunners
youtube
Now THIS is a Sarana song it's over for Hibiki
Sarana gives us the emotion and the RANGE because she's an oldschool (and I do mean oldschool) performer and Hibiki just can't keep up with that
And just like that it's over for him but this time he didn't commit any crimes so it's progress in a way
Meanwhile in Untucked Leo's on his congenial era helping James and Hugh's mad at Kasai for some reason he just wants to drink his strawberry vanilla latte in peace
Kasai emerges as the new frontrunner following James and Sarana slipping up but it's still early enough that they can turn this around and other people can take the lead

10 Millionaire Books for Entrepreneurs
As an entrepreneur with big goals, you dream of success and one day becoming a millionaire. You want financial independence. You want the means to enjoy a nice lifestyle. So how do you achieve your dreams?
One of the best ways to get started and stay on track is to read books about millionaires. We’re talking about books with rags-to-riches stories to inspire you and grow your confidence. We’re also talking about books that offer practical advice for investing and making smart financial decisions.
This is our recommended reading list of the 10 best books for any ambitious entrepreneur to build the confidence to slay dragons and become a millionaire.
1. Total Money Makeover
by Dave Ramsey
Dave Ramsey is the reigning king of financial management for everyday Americans. Ramsey has built a personal finance empire — with millions of daily radio show listeners, personal finance courses, books, and even a budgeting app called Every Dollar. Ramsey himself went from bankruptcy to multi-millionaire status. No one wants to be broke, and Ramsey’s system has helped people control their spending habits, become debt-free, and build wealth.
Your net worth is less about how much you earn, and more about how much you spend. If you want to achieve your business goals the first step is to get out of the pressure of being in debt and worrying about money all the time. That’s the reason for including Total Money Makeover at the top of this list. You must get your spending habits under control — personally and also in your business. Until you control the outflow of money, it’s going to be hard to accrue real wealth.
2. The Millionaire Next Door
by Thomas J. Stanley, PhD
A millionaire is less like a billionaire or celebrity — and more like your next-door neighbor. In fact, you could have millionaires in your neighborhood and not even realize it. They often don’t live in the biggest houses or drive the flashiest cars. They know the difference between having a million dollars and spending a million dollars. Based on voluminous research, that’s what this groundbreaking book demonstrates.
The Millionaire Next Door was one of the earlier books to advance the notion that the way to gain wealth and happiness is to first be smart about spending. People have to first grow their assets, instead of living like high rollers before they actually have the money. The people of means outlined in the book are not denying themselves nice lives. But they have deferred gratification until getting their finances in order.
3. Everyday Millionaires
by Chris Hogan
Chris Hogan is an expert in wealth building, and it is this expertise which he brings to this book along with his extensive research. This research reveals you don’t have to come from money or have a high income to be a millionaire. The secret, which is no longer a secret, is working hard and staying focused.
The Chris Hogan Everyday Millionaires book is based on the research of 10,000 millionaires. This book debunks myths about millionaires, including their attitudes and behaviors. If you want an inside look into how an everyday millionaire thinks and acts, this is an excellent book. You might just be surprised because you’ve been making assumptions. While there are many books on the market about millionaires, if you want to get inside the heads of thousands of millionaires to follow their examples, this is the book.
4. Rich Dad Poor Dad
by Robert Kiyosaki
More than 23 years after it was first published, Robert Kiyosaki’s book still resonates with readers. The unconventional approach and advice he provides is the key to success. Challenging established norms and focusing on the mindset of being rich are some of his methodologies people use to this day.
One of the best things about Rich Dad Poor Dad is that it teaches about the concept of assets. In the U.S. we hear about credit cards and how big a loan we can take out to buy a house. We’re taught conspicuous spending as if spending is a good goal. What we’re not taught is to think of spending money to build up our assets — things with lasting value. A startup or small business is an asset, and until we think of it that way we won’t appreciate how operating a business can transform our personal wealth.
5. The Latte Factor
by David Bach
David Bach has written nine best sellers about personal finance. The Latte Factor shows people may have more financial resources than they think. This book outlines simple steps for people who want financial freedom and to achieve the American Dream. It’s about paying yourself first — by saving and investing to see your money grow.
This book demonstrates the value of not wasting small amounts of money. Invested over time, money adds up. The book is structured as a parable or story about one young millennial woman named Zoey. Each day she buys a double-shot latte while staring at a painting she thinks she can’t afford. She feels like she doesn’t have the money for the things she really wants (like an expensive painting) but it’s actually because she lacks a plan and spends too much money on discretionary items (like daily lattes).
Entrepreneurs, think about it. Are you doing the same thing in your business? Are you frittering away your resources on small ideas without investing in goals that will build lasting value?
6. Think and Grow Rich
by Napoleon Hill
First published in 1937, this book has sold more than 15 million copies. The philosophies it espouses including the “Law of Success” have been followed by many successful entrepreneurs in the decades since its publication. The 13 steps to riches are the result of interviewing 500 of the most successful people at the time, according to the author. This includes everyone from Thomas Edison to Henry Ford, Theodore Roosevelt, John D Rockefeller, and many others.
Many people have called Think and Grow Rich a life-changing book. Perhaps the best thing it does is inspire. You can gain a mentality and thought process for lifelong changes in how you deal with money. The principles in it are fundamentals like setting goals and the importance of a positive thought process. Napoleon Hill was a character who may have fabricated some claims about his biography and anecdotes in the book. But remember, there’s a reason this book is a classic. Everyone should read it for the transformative attitude it brings.
7. Built to Sell
by John Warrillow
Built to Sell is about how to create a business that can thrive without you — the owner — doing everything. This book follows a fictional business owner, Alex, who runs a struggling marketing firm. Alex starts getting advice from a mentor and friend. Alex eventually turns the business around by changing his business model to one of recurring revenue streams. As a result, he spends less time personally working in the business, and his company builds enough value that he is able to sell it.
You might be tempted to think this book is similar to the 4 Hour Work Week, by Tim Ferriss, because the subtitle mentions the business thriving without the owner — but it’s not. Built to Sell focuses much more on creating enough lasting value to be able to sell the business. Let’s face it, as business owners, most of our wealth is tied up in our companies. If you want an exit strategy where you can cash out, you need a plan. This book explains how to get to that 7 or 8 figure payout.
Read our review of Built to Sell.
8. The Highest Calling
by Larry Janesky
The Highest Calling‘s description says it is “an inspirational novel about business and life, struggle and success.” This book is really a business advice book wrapped in a story about Troy Becker, the fictional owner of a remodeling business. Troy works 70 hours a week, his family life is suffering, and he can’t seem to get ahead. Then one day a mysterious mentor enters Troy’s life and starts advising him how to create a business with more value along with more personal satisfaction.
In real life, The Highest Calling‘s author became wildly successful in a mundane industry, basement waterproofing. He founded a nationwide business with annual revenues in the 9 figures. He knows what he is talking about. If you think the one and only way to gain money is through a high tech business and not a regular small business, think again. Once you put in place systems and processes and get your priorities straight, success will ensue. Follow the book’s advice and work toward a profitable business that puts you on the path to millionaire status.
Read our review of The Highest Calling.
9. Built Not Born
by Tom Golisano
Built not Born is an entrepreneur advice book by billionaire Tom Golisano, the founder of Paychex. Golisano started his company with $3,000 in 1971, showing he is a self-made man. The book is a 50-year account of his experiences as a businessman who started as a small business and turned it into a multi-billion dollar company.
Tom Golisano is a billionaire, but this book is not a billionaire’s vanity project. Built Not Born offers lessons in achieving greatness that can translate into your personal net worth. If you are looking for practical advice on building a talented team, implementing a strong business model and improving business performance in your organization, this is a great place to start. By building your business, you also build your personal wealth as the owner.
Read our review of Built Not Born.
10. Jim Cramer’s Get Rich Carefully
by Jim Cramer
Get Rich Carefully is about investing in the stock market. It’s an entertaining and practical book for people who fit into the definition of “average retail investor” (which describes most of us). If you are a person who wants to understand more about investing without getting buried in boring balance sheets, Cramer’s book is a good place to start. And like Cramer, the man who we see on television, the book is entertaining. This is a common-sense approach to investments and how to understand fundamentals.
On many lists, you will see investment books such as The Intelligent Investor by Benjamin Graham. That book is a classic and revered by self-made billionaires like Warren Buffett and Bill Gates. However, that book seems written for a different time. Cramer’s book is a more relevant, easier-to-read substitute today in a world of automated trading and politics-driven market swings. Even if you are one of those investors who prefer to choose index funds or buy real estate, Cramer puts the markets in perspective.
Conclusion
For entrepreneurs, business books can teach you the right moves to build value that can be transformed into personal wealth. Lifelong learning is essential in the business world. There’s a reason millionaires read books. The best books:
Inspire you to a positive mindset. Great books fire you up to achieve great things.
Teach the right money moves. Positive inspiration is one thing, but knowing what to do and how to do it is essential.
Focus your attention. When you “lean in” on goals and dreams, you are more likely to achieve them and gain power.
In America anyone can become a millionaire with the right mindset and a will to succeed. Don’t you deserve to live the American Dream (no matter where you are located)? Read these 10 best books for money-focused entrepreneurs. When you’re done with these, check out other books from authors such as Mark Cuban and Vicki Robin.

Pratima Ati March 26, 2019
When it comes to constructing an outfit, Converse sneakers are absolute stars. How else do you explain people’s obsession with them? The best thing about Converse shoes is that they haven’t changed over the years but have adapted to the latest trends and managed to stay relevant to this day. If that doesn’t say enough about Converse, we have proof – with pictures and outfit ideas. Check them out!
17 Ways To Style Your Converse Shoes
If you have already jumped on the Converse bandwagon, you know that they go with pretty much everything. Jeans and skirts? Yep. Prom? Sure. Date night? Hell, yes. Wedding dress? ABSOLUTELY! Take a look!
1. Wedding Dress With Converse

We wanted to start with the mother of all outfits – a wedding dress. Talk about brides breaking fashion stereotypes and choosing details that truly define who they are. An increasing number of women are sporting Converse with their fancy wedding gowns to showcase every bit of their personality while walking down the aisle.
2. Skinny Jeans And Converse Shoes

Skinny jeans – whether white, black, or anything whacky – call for Converse shoes. We recommend investing in a customized pair as they can spruce up your everyday outfits instantly.
3. High-Waisted Shorts And Converse

Denim and Converse are like a match made in heaven. But if you want to dial up the chic factor, pair high-waisted denim shorts with a bright graphic T-shirt. Such little changes can transform your look completely.
4. Formals And Converse Shoes

If you thought that formals are one space Converse cannot venture into, you need to reconsider your opinion. Whether you are headed to a meeting or are in the mood for comfortable trousers, throw on your favorite pair of Converse. Tell the world you choose comfort and like breaking the monotony with this look.
5. Animal Prints And Leather Converse

Animal prints add oodles of character to your outfits without trying too hard. We get that they are not for everyone, but if you can pull it off, throw some leather Converse into the mix to round off your outfit!
6. Prom Dress With Converse Shoes

Prom night is around the corner, which means the anxiety of getting every single detail right is at its peak. If you march to the beat of your own drum, get yourself a pair of Converse shoes to comfort your feet and soul. I know it’s getting dramatic here, but trust me when I say that a lot of people will be coming to you for fashion advice after seeing you sport this edgy look.
7. Trench Coat And Yellow Converse
A trench coat is a staple piece in every working woman’s wardrobe. Match your trench color with a pair of Converse in the same color, sip on some pumpkin spice latte, and live it up!
8. T-Shirt Dress With Converse

Whether it is a denim one-piece, a pastel noodle strap dress, or just a basic T-shirt dress – a pair of Converse will take it to the next level.
9. Dresses And Converse

Be it a midi-length, long, or short dress, rest assured that it can be paired with Converse. Whether you want to go all out with tulle or keep it semi-formal with a striped dress, Converse is the way to go!
10. Skater Dress And Converse Shoes

Skater dresses are jam-packed with cuteness and help you get away with bad hair days, lazy Sundays, and those days when you don’t feel like moving a muscle. Add Converse shoes to this equation and finish off the look!
11. Black Outfits With Colored Converse

A black T-shirt dress is a blessing in summers. It is super comfortable and can never look outdated. Wear it with a pair of brightly-colored Converse, and you can conquer mountains. But if you want to take your black outfit up a notch, wear them with a casual pantsuit. Tie your hair in a half bun and put on some red lipstick to slay the look!
12. Party Wear Dresses And Converse

Every part of your outfit needs to be thoroughly thought through when it comes to big events like a wedding, homecoming, or prom. But, you don’t always need to follow the stereotype and wear a dress and heels. Break the monotony with your Converse shoes, and you will get heads turning!
13. Maxi/Tea-Length Dresses With Converse
outfits.essence / Instagram
When you are in the mood to break the Bohemian vibe of your maxi or tea-length dress a little bit, take the sporty route. It’s a look everyone needs to try out. I can’t get enough of it!
14. Ruffle Skirt And Converse Shoes
zoesug / Instagram
There is nothing else I can think of on a lazy weekend than an outfit like this. It’s fun, cool, and chic. Just a graphic tee with a ruffle skirt, a high ponytail, and a pair of converse. It’s airy and relaxed, but with just enough style.
15. Summer Dress And White Converse
outfits.essence / Instagram
You can sport white converse with bold colors like red, navy blue, and green. Let the shoes take center stage and the dress be the sidekick for once.
16. Black Crop Top And Yellow Trousers
Black or white Converse shoes with colored trousers like these can make the oh-so-smart and effortless girl in you come out. Envision this outfit without the shoes – it just falls flat!
17. Edgy Outfit With Converse Shoes

The one celebrity that comes to mind when we think of Converse shoes is Taylor Swift. She is often spotted wearing bold outfits (like this patent leather number) with a simple pair of Converse to tell us that she’s one of us.
