the second best thing is fully organizing the amanoverse between the 7 Amano Blogs because it's SO much easier to organize lore when you don't have 11 characters with no pattern between them all trying to fit in on the same space at once

honestlyyyyyyyyy another (slightly outdated) pokemon rpc trend i dislike is overpowered kid muse that goes around warping every older muse around them into either a parental figure that's only good for coddling everything they do or a cruel bully that's only good for being harassed by them with no consequences so the mun can get their top 10 anime verbal takedowns moment

like it's the worst of both worlds because you combine the character being ridiculously overpowered with the same old rehashed perfect prodigy who impresses everyone around them storyline with them pulling the i'm just a babyyyy 🥺 card for just about any inconvenience that basically makes them feel like the ultimate actually i'm the only one who matters type of character

can you guys tell i just really hate godmodding

as you guys know i love to write some snarky bitches so the characters having good back and forth banter is absolutely crucial

as far as ship genres go i'm pretty versatile like i can do fluff childhood friends coworkers to lovers rivals to lovers enemies to lovers enemies and lovers the possibilities are infinite but if they don't get to throw some sass at each other I'M NOT INTERESTED

The first here on Tumblr was Lucas but the first ever that wasn't completely lost to time(tm) and was actually decently fleshed-out was named Damien and he was basically a prince that was really far down the succession line and got trained as a knight who then joined the good old ragtag group of adventurers in order to save the world from the forces of god

Except he turned out to be extremely evil and backstabbed just about everyone you can think of

I just like to make things and share them with people

Writing is fun but writing just for myself doesn't hit the same, it's way more fun with company

i love how i got this ask twice because the people know i'm a HATER

i feel like not answering with something from the pokemon rpc is a cop out so one trend i kinda dislike is that after usum introduced rainbow rocket the pokemon multiverse ended up being used far more often as a plot advice which by itself is pretty awesome although i HATE rainbow rocket but also the multiverse as a plot device ends up being used pretty often as a way to shut down pre-established interactions that happen in canon and makes it pretty hard to write stuff based off canon events with other muses which is like

fiiiiiiiiine it's kind of annoying when you want to do a pre-established dynamic and end up having to jump through hoops of multiverse stuff to effectively end up writing as if the two characters are total strangers anyway but it's not really the end of the world

what i really dislike about the rainbowrocketfication is that a lot of the time it just gets used to write villain aus where every non-villain character loses all agency and is basically only there to be a punching bag which is such a boring way to write a villain like trying to write kalos content in 2023 was an Experience because it felt like there were 20 lysandre blogs going around and 15 of them stopped just short of stating in the rules something like if you interact with this blog you agree to let me win everything and use your muses to aurafarm whenever i want and even now when i see lysandre content i'm honestly a little sick of it

like there's SO MUCH that can be done with bad end aus that it kinda sucks to see it mostly being used as an excuse to godmode

This ask’s funny because when I was revisiting my old blog a while ago in Preparation(tm) for the 7 Amano blogs jumpscare I did talk about a few muns I missed because I thought I really fumbled the bag with my atrocious reply speed back in the day but like

Misha came back (though I’m not sure if they’re still around)

Azure came back that was the one I fumbled the hardest and now we’re good friends

Vio I mean they left Tumblr but I still talk to them every day

There was also someone I listed who didn’t come back but since then I found out they were involved in some SERIOUS drama so like that was a bullet I dodged I guess 💀

I do really miss Mulder they were like my first friend I made here on Tumblr and their Mars blog was a slay also @pkmnsdarkqueen is and will always be a diva

Here on Tumblr I’ve been around since December 2016 IT’S BEEN ALMOST 10 YEARS but in general I’ve been at it since like 2009

My clown ass was teaching myself English to join Pokefarm RP forums and they were an unmoderated MESS until the whole place was remade but a bitch always really liked to write

There was the 2009-2013 RP forum goblin era then the 2013-2016 private RPs with the besties era then the 2016-2018 Tumblr old testament era then the 2018-2020 Danganronpa RPs only era then the 2020-2025 return to Tumblr because I really missed Pokemon

Out of the 3, it’s a tight competition between Sidney and May for the title of best dancer. Sidney’s at his best with high-energy, aggressive songs that he can channel his punk energy into, while May’s better with slower songs that require precise, smooth movements to convey Emotion(tm).

Anabel’s a pretty solid third place, but she can hit a few dance moves if she tries. There’s a secret DDR board in the back of her battle chamber in the Battle Tower.

💋Norman at Sidney

The first 5 Asks to send 💋 get a kiss

Today, Sidney and Norman were sparring, getting a good workout in as part of their usual routine. Sidney was the kind of person that liked to fight dirty, but Norman was a lot more focused on doing things the right way, and so they were practicing the technique for a proper fight, following convention so as to respect the rules of the Petalburg Gym.

He'd teach Norman all about street fighting later, though.

Knowing Sidney, though, Norman should've probably seen some mischief coming when he specifically asked to practice takedowns. In a matter of seconds, they were both on the floor, Sidney on top of Norman pinning him down, and then with a big, smug grin, he kissed the older man, letting it linger for a good amount of time so he could make sure his boyfriend would look beet red when they broke the kiss.

“Whoops, I got distracted. But hey, that was a pretty good takedown just now, right?”
