#bang dream #bandori #imai lisa #mmmh its summer its time to rotate last year's lisa summer event mental breakdown #okay here come the thoughts #the beach has been already mentionned in bs1 as somewhere lisa would go often after quitting music #and i often think its bc since she leaves literally next to yukina it was to avoid her #which makes that even in middle school she would go to the beach and not want to go home as a way to escape #then theres the summer event #where they mentionned that when she was a child when she went to the beach she didnt went to go home at the end of the day #which directly connects to her in her last summer as a high schooler where she is scared of the future #and where she basically is taken by her fears as a child (her younger self tugging on her skirt)#also its a night scene bc i often think about how yukina compared her to the sun AND the moon #and the moon to me represents that melancholic side that lisa is so extremely prone to #theres probably more i forgot to type. but u see im already deep in the trenches

I genuinely wonder how they're going to do the timeline for S3, because this is where a lot of Oseman works outside the comic kind of collide (This Winter and Solitaire both take place within the ~10 month period S3 will cover).

And the TV series, while still true to the comics, messes with the timeline and events a bit. Typically they've created more plot points (Sports Day, Imogen/Ben drama) to fill screen time, and they've moved some things around (Nelson-Spring family dinner) but since there's a lot of plot to cover in 8 episodes, I wonder what they're going to change or leave out.

And they will have to change a lot, depending on how much of Solitaire they keep in the show - no Bash means no Ben means no Solitaire making people kick the shit out of him??? Will they even include the Solitaire blog plot? Did the Imogen/Ben story line replace the Ben/Becky story line? And ofc no Olivia Coleman, which means none of the awesome Sarah Nelson moments :(

I'm just very intrigued and very excited for S3, because I know the Heartstopper team has something good cooked up for us!!

#i say s3 will cover 10 months bc of the teaser information we have #the first ep seems to be the beach day which is the summer after charlie's yr 10 #and the last ep seems to be summer fête which is near the end of charlie's yr 11 #and solitaire takes place for like a month and a half in the middle there #this winter is also literally just christmas day #there's just so much stuff i really hope they tie it all together!!!#heartstopper #solitaire #this winter #osemanverse

Working at the beachfront snack shack isn't the most glamorous job, but at least Eric has a great view of the hot surfing instructor to help him pass the time.

It's too bad the hot surfing instructor is kind of a jerk.

Or, Eric Bittle is an overworked snack shack employee making minimum wage, and Jack Zimmermann's job is beach.

omg what if "hikaru" is actually a god/spirit formed from the thousands of souls sacrificed by the indous??? shortly after all the deaths, the village experienced less and less horrific events and even the impurities were drawn away. what if that's because all those souls balanced out whatever weakness there was in the veil between worlds? an unintentional outcome of all the sacrifices was some sort of entity inadvertently protecting the village from further harm in this way, maybe...

its so weird thinking about childhood best friends you don't know anymore. like. the girl and her siblings who lived next door for year, who I used to considered my sister, who now looking back on it was probably my first crush ever, who swore we would grow up together, who was only 'visiting' her family for a month, turns out her parents lied to us, I never saw her again. the girls I went to summer to summer camp with every year and now I can barely remember there faces.

like. how are they doing?

I still can't conceptualize that these people who mattered *so* much to me are just... gone... chances are that I will never see them again, especially my best friend who's back in Pakistan, and even if I did, so much time has passed that I would most likely not recognize them even if I did see them.

#in my mind they're frozen in time #who knows where they are or who they've become #to me we're still 8 years old playing Minecraft in her basement #or 11 and going to the beach #or 12 and im sitting next to her at the dinner table #im 10 and meeting up with all my friends at summer camp #im 13 and its my last year at camp and we all sorta know we'll never see each other but we won't say it #im 14 and scrolling through my old Instagram trying to find a sliver of hope that I'll ever talk to her again #I miss her #I miss them #im forgetting her voice #how is one of the most important parts of me. of my childhood fading away?#currently sobbing #if fatima. who loves unicorns and dogs and the color purple and popcorn and brownies and left for a wedding and never came back.
