everyone is so afraid of blood that they forget sharp instruments cause significantly less damage. my experiment did 100% work but the "safer" alternative i tried was literally blunt force trauma to cause deliberate tissue damage rather than a minor incision lol

#the reason i opted not to do the incision though is that it opens up a pocket of tissue #and i did not want to deal with a large hole in my flesh lol #although the lower ones don't actually need sutures and it would have been fine #but anyway the buccal ties are 100% released #and I'm making progress on the lower lip but that one is more difficult and needs to be worked incrementally

Is there anything more weak than the attempt to shut down all media analysis and critique by appealing to a "everything is valid and different! Stop making it a pissing match," point of view? Either the stories are "too different" to compare and contrast, or they're "ultimately all fma so why should we fight". Maybe some people can't get it through their heads, but disagreement, venting amongst those who feel similarly, and critique are not inherently a fight.

And I'm sorry, but "breaking the cycle of violence" is a shit trope to tack onto a plot that uses a genocide and ethnic cleansing as its foundation, with heaping layers of "those poor little war criminals, stop being mean to them" to add insult to bad storytelling.

Hey y'all! Do you have any recommendations for things to do or not do when sewing clothing? Basically, where to start? I've made doll clothes and a few skirts for my nieces, but I don't wear skirts or dresses and I am doing fine on pajama pants, so I think the like easiest thing for me to start with will be shorts? Probably like quilting cotton, elastic waist super simple ones, I just don't know a good pattern to try and don't know enough about clothing patterns to know how to pick a good pattern
