Something I just realized

Twisted Pebble has eyes on the front of his face

Which makes sense, he's a hunter and front-facing eyes are a trait of predatory animals

Twisted Coal, on the other hand, has her eyes more on the sides of her head which I thought was interesting

I also think she's the only Twisted with eyes positioned like that, but then again not many of the Twisteds undergo dramatic changes in appearance

So

Idea

Either Twisted Coal was never meant to hunt down Toons (assuming the Toon and Twisted counterparts are separate) and is just doing it because she was told to

Or she's being hunted

Oooh interesting ... the hunter becomes the hunted ... also eyes on the sides of the head are common for prey animals as well !! Neat hc, anon : D
