Danny Fenton, aka Phantom, has been given a new task!

In short, literally no one in the Ghost Zone/Infinite Realms wants their mostly peaceful afterlife to be rocked by a certain Gotham rogue named Joker. Which, when he dies, is almost sure to happen because of whatever the hell was in that vat he dropped in included ectoplasm. So, yay, he’s also a little ghostly too, meaning he *is* pretty hard to kill. Unfortunately, there’s also a certain vigilante that is quite keen to murder him in recent years.

So now Danny has to keep the mass murderer trauma clown alive for as long as he possibly can while attempting to keep the Joker from. Well. Being the Joker.

Oh, and naturally, Danny got this assignment AFTER Joker got out of Arkham. Again. And entirely blew up the asylum. Time to join the Goonion, he is NOT doing this without getting PAID, thank you.

anyway can't wait for the first time Daniel and Armand get to go to bed together post reunion (after all the screaming and crying and throwing up etc). it'll be the first time Armand's really allowed himself to go full comatose sleep around Daniel, and the first time they spend a night (day) together on the same internal clock, not having to worry about when they'll be forced to break apart again due to the sun. imagine Armand's relief at finally, finally being able to be held in deep sleep by his boy, the one he's ached for all these decades, and hold him in return.

C'est le jour des langues aujourd'hui donc vous avez droit à un poste en français

Et je vais continuer à parler de Koisenu Futari (une série japonaise centrée sur deux personnages AroAce, mon premier poste ici) parce que cette série est mon coup de cœur du moment. <3

Je ne suis généralement pas très bonne à repérer les éléments de language visuel - mais il y a un détail de cette série qui me fait sourire à chaque fois qu'il est dans le plan.

Quand Sakuko se prépare à s'installer avec sa meilleure amie, elle achète une lampe colorée très fun.

Et c'est évident dès l'épisode 1 qu'elle va bien s'entendre avec Takahashi, parce qu'au delà d'être tous deux AroAce, ils partagent un amour des lampes colorées.

Voilà la première lampe que Takahashi allume la première fois qu'on découvre sa maison :

Il allume cette lampe en premier, avant même le plafonnier. Je vous jure que c'est fait exprès ! Elle est parfaitement centrée dans le cadre !

Je pense qu'elle sert aussi à annoncer le côté... disons maximaliste, de la maison. Il y a beaucoup de choses, partout, tout le temps, mais ça donne un côté très chaleureux au décor.

(en opposition à l'appart moderne et lumineux mais entièrement vide que Sakuko a visité avec sa meilleure amie quelques scènes plus tôt)

(Oui je tire beaucoup d'un unique arrêt-sur-image, et alors. Quand la cinématographie est bien faite il y a beaucoup a interpréter.)

Et comme elle est installée en plein milieu de la pièce à vivre, cette lampe est régulièrement à l'écran, et elle me fait sourire à chaque fois.

Et finalement au premier plan dans la dernière scène de l'épisode :

Cette lampe est clairement un choix de décore délibéré et je l'adore ! C'est quasiment un personnage à ce stade.

D'ailleurs ce n'est pas la seule lampe à fleurs de la maison, il y en a plusieurs rien que dans le salon, et au moins une dans la chambre de Sakuko.

My hands are kind of clammy right now, and when I petted Fiia the cat just now, a lot of loose fur was sticking to my hand, kind of like a cat's tongue works to get hair our of the fur.

So she kind of figured out that hey this is nice, friend is giving me a groom, nice, and she came for several passes – but doing these big "licks" down her back with my clammy hands was also clearly kind of overstimulating her, she started getting twitchy and stuff, but still kept coming for pets. And I wanted to do as many pets as I could because the more hair I get off her with my clammy hands, the less hair goes inside her stomach when she grooms herself.

So we just had this really weird "enjoyable for both but precarious as violence might erupt at any point" activity, which did end up with her lashing out, but luckily she sank her claws into the sofa chair instead of me. And then we stopped the activity. She did come by again but I didn't pet her again.
