Basically

The universe was created by a being named Dimitási. Dimitási is the omnipotent god of the universe, and the ruler of everything (tally hall reference).

There are many, many other gods, but the most well known ones are the Primordial gods.

Space - self explanatory (he/she)

Créalie - goddess of life (she/her)

Decea - god of death (he/they)

Constella - goddess of dimensions (she/star)

Nyx - goddess of the night (she/her)

Hemera - god of the day (he/she)

there are also a few other gods worth noting, like Galatea (goddess of stars), Aitar (god of portals), Prism (god of light), and Abyss (god of darkness).

Two notable divine figures are The Messenger and Emery Kiyo. The Messenger, as the name implies, is a messenger of the gods. Emery is Decea’s second in command.

All mortals except for prototypes and failed species have magic. Prototypes and failed species will be touched upon later.

Now the history of the worlds.

The Inbetween is a plane of existence inbetween dimensions. In it, there’s a large group of cities called The Sectional. Outside of the Sectional is a vast, barren wasteland called the Voidenai Dwelling. The Voidenai are creatures hostile to mortals, created by the gods to keep mortals from visiting them. Outside of the dwelling is the Divine Plane. This is where the gods live.

Within the sectional, the big 3 dimensions are housed. The gateways to the dimensions are kept in castle towers. The Celestial Sector houses the Dream Realm. The Clockwork Sector houses the Fairy Realm. The Cyber Sector houses…well, the Cyber Realm. The other two used to be called the Celestial Realm and the Clockwork Realm, however their names were changed to fit the changing times of the dimensions.

When the idea of dimensions was first thought of, there was some argument among the primordial gods. There needed to be a god of dimensions. Some wanted to create a new god, but others thought introduced such an important god so late was a terrible idea. In the end, Constella got the short end of the stick. You see, Constella was the goddess of stars, but Dimitási simply decided that the domain of dimensions was more important. Galatea was created to replace her domain of stars, and a new bitter rivalry begun. Nothing too bad came of this other than petty anger and pranks.

Créalie went nuts creating new creatures for these dimensions, so much so that Dimitási had to put a limit on her and created a method to making species. Créalie was (reasonably) pissed that her fun was being ruined, but she knew better than to argue with them, so she just begrudgingly went with it.

Créalie had to create and raise prototypes before sticking them in dimensions. Créalie, famously hating children, was not very fond of this. Failed creations began to pile up, and she needed somewhere to put them. She “nicely” asked Constella to create a new dimension to dump them all in. Thus, the Planetarium was created.

The Planetarium was different from other dimensions in that, rather than being a seemingly endless mass of land, it was a seemingly endless void in all directions, with “planets” and “stars” and various other things scattered throughout. Dimitási was furious once they found out Créalie had just been dumping these creatures there and leaving them to their own devices, however it later proved very useful.

Demons, angels, bugs, shadows, dolls, so many creatures being made. Créalie was having a field day. All of them were placed in the Fairy Realm. She was going to make another one to place there. Another main species. The human was supposed to be something big. They were supposed to be magical creatures just like the rest, however, whem s nrw [ERRdOR] [DATeA LOST] [DO NsOT TRY AND BiRING THIS UrP AGAIN] [THeIS IS YOUR LAST WARaNING] and thus, humans were stripped of their magic and placed in the Planetarium, on a planet later named Earth.

The government in the realms vary. The Inbetween has various councils, the Dream Realm generally has democracies, the Fairy Realm has kings and queens, and the Cyber Realm is pretty communist.

This is unfortunately where our tour ends for now. In order to continue, I’d have to start going into detail on the vast histories and intricacies of every single realm. Here is a basic summery of the large scale lore of multidimensional :)

A rare butterfly is being reintroduced into the Welsh countryside decades after it disappeared, thanks to a team of conservationists.

Hundreds of marsh fritillary butterflies, with their unmistakeable cream and orange wings, can now be spotted on Llantrisant Common in Rhondda Cynon Taf.

The man behind this resurgence is Rob Parry, the founder of Initiative for Nature Conservation Cymru.

His team took caterpillars from the wild, reared them and released them back into the area - a controversial approach but one he feels is increasingly necessary.

"Many of our species are on the brink, right on the edge, and we can't afford to monitor them disappearing," he told BBC Wales Live.

"Once we do that - getting them back is so much harder. That's why these projects - where we are intervening before they become extinct - is really important."

According to the latest State of Nature Report almost one in five species in Wales were classed as being at risk of vanishing in years to come.

But why butterflies and why this particular one?

According to Butterfly Conservation UK, butterflies are recognised as indicators of biodiversity and their survival can provide a serious warning about our environment.

"Marsh fritillaries are incredibly rare and we are losing populations in Wales as well as throughout the UK and Europe," Rob said.

"Wales is still a bit of a stronghold for the butterfly, so it felt right. The marsh fritillary is a bit of an icon here."

The project has seen butterflies mating and laying eggs on the common.

Vaughn Matthews, who has helped rear and release caterpillars, said it was "an incredible experience" after "20-odd years of there being no marsh fritillaries on there".

But reintroduction is not without its critics.

Last year, the UK government’s Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs said this was not a priority and it aimed to reach biodiversity targets through methods such as habitat restoration.

Natural Resources Wales rejected Rob's original project proposal in 2016, which he felt was "a sign of where nature conservation is or was at".

"A lot of it has been protecting what we’ve already got, monitoring and doing science, research and so on," he added.

This changed when he resubmitted plans in 2019.

Liz Halliwell from NRW said she understood the role reintroduction could play, but it had to be considered against other options.

"This is one tool in a toolbox of things that we need for species recovery," she said.

"We need to look first at the causes of the things that have made that species decline or go extinct.

"It's that balancing act of saying 'it’s important, let's do it properly'."

She also points to some of the risks of reintroduction, saying "it is not enough to just get some animals and chuck them out" as there could be risks to native wildlife through competition and disease.

"Habitat restoration would be needed in advance to make sure you're not releasing animals that are then lost as well," she added.

The Initiative for Nature Conservation Cymru always intended that the caterpillars' environment would be at the heart of their plans.

"Although the focus is the butterfly, fundamentally, it’s about getting more habitat in the landscape," said Rob.

The butterflies thrive on Rhôs Pasture, a distinctive marshy grassland, that is home to a number of different wetland species.

Food production and a movement from cattle grazing to sheep in Wales has led to a lot of this land being drained.

Rob and his team have been working with landowners and communities to help bring the landscape back to life and give their butterflies the best chance of survival.

In response to wider reservations around reintroduction, he said: I would love to see a Wales where we didn't have to intervene, but that ship sailed decades ago."

A period of monitoring is the next phase for the project and a team will monitor them over several years with the hope they are able to build the population and thrive.

They then look at other species that might need a helping hand.

Zu den Gesellschaftern gehören unter anderem das Land NRW, der WDR und das ZDF. Das Schreiben der Mitglieder ist im Folgenden dokumentiert.

Angesichts der jüngsten Nachrichten zur wirtschaftlichen Situation des Grimme-Instituts sehen wir uns als Mitglieder der Nominierungskommissionen und Jurys des Grimme-Preises und des Grimme Online Awards in der Verantwortung, einen dringenden Appell an die Gesellschafter:innen und Aufsichtsrät:innen zu richten.

Die aktuellen Nachrichten aus Marl sind ein Schock: Ein Drittel der Arbeitsplätze im Institut soll wegfallen. Das ist nicht nur für die Betroffenen katastrophal, die betriebsbedingten Kündigungen werden auch den Kernauftrag des Grimme-Instituts schwächen: die Preise. Ohne starkes Grimme-Institut gibt es keine starken Preise, keinen Grimme-Preis und keinen Grimme Online Award. Und ohne starke Preise ist das Grimme-Institut in Gefahr.

Das darf nicht passieren.

Die Preise des Grimme-Instituts zeichnen Qualitätsfernsehen und andere hochwertige Medieninhalte aus. Beiträge, deren Bedeutung in Zeiten, in denen Fehlinformationen bewusst gestreut und benutzt werden, um Menschen zu manipulieren, gar nicht hoch genug eingeschätzt werden kann. Wer die Preise schwächt, handelt gesellschaftlich fatal.

Das Besondere an den Auszeichnungen des Grimme-Instituts ist die unabhängige transparente Preisfindung. Wir sind stolz und dankbar, Teil davon sein zu dürfen, und wir wissen: Dieser komplexe Prozess kann nur dann weiterhin stattfinden, geschweige denn diesen höchsten Maßstäben genügen, wenn die Rahmenbedingungen stimmen. Die sehen wir schon seit einigen Wochen und nun ganz akut in größter Gefahr.

Die Nominierungskommissionen Fiktion und Information & Kultur des Grimme-Preises haben die Auswirkungen der Sparmaßnahmen bereits zu spüren bekommen. Konkret: die Entlassungen der beiden Assistent:innen und damit das Wegfallen von zwei Schlüsselpositionen im ohnehin notorisch unterbesetzten Grimme-Preisreferat. In der Vorbereitung auf die zweite Sichtungswoche im November waren die Abläufe bereits gestört. In den kommenden Wochen und Monaten, wenn noch mehr Gremien gleichzeitig Nominierungen und Preisträger:innen bestimmen, wird sich das zuspitzen.

Beim Festakt zum 50. Jubiläum des Grimme-Instituts wurde von vielen Seiten die Bedeutung des Instituts und speziell des Grimme-Preises als bekanntesten Preis des Instituts betont, gar von einem „Gralshüter der Qualität“ war die Rede. Dem m��ssen auch Taten folgen. Die Preise des Grimme-Instituts sind die renommiertesten in der Branche.

Wir appellieren dringend an die Träger:innen des Grimme-Instituts, eine adäquate finanzielle Ausstattung inklusive Assistenzstellen zu gewährleisten, um das Institut und seine Preise zu schützen. Ein handschriftliches Navigationssystem im Auto

Im Auto von Techniktagebuchautor Peter Witzel finde ich zwei Zettel mit einer von Hand abgeschriebenen Navigationsanleitung.

Diesen Workaround habe ich auch schon mal genutzt, nur nicht handschriftlich, und es war 2006. Ich frage Peter, was hier der Anlass war.

"Ich weiß nicht, ob du die Nachrichtenlage mitgekriegt hast, aber die Verkehrsinfrastruktur in Deutschland wurde die letzten 30 Jahre schlecht bis gar nicht gewartet. Alle Brücken, gerade in NRW, sind kaputt, und in NRW ist von heute auf morgen eine ganz normale, dringend benötigte Autobahn gesperrt worden, weil die Brücke gesprengt und über fünf Jahre neu gebaut werden muss. Und S. hat ein so altes Navi, TomTom, was man noch so reinsteckt ins Auto, aus diversen Gründen. Das Handybedienen im Auto mögen wir beide nicht. S. kümmert sich um die Updates von diesem Navi, aber wenn sich was sehr kurzfristig ändert, weiß das TomTom davon noch nichts. Und S. ist ein Weg-nicht-Finder vor dem Herrn. Er kann auch Städtenamen nicht zu Positionen zuordnen, weder im Kopf noch auf einer Karte. Und deswegen hat er sich, weil da so viele Umleitungen im Bergischen Land waren, das hier gemacht und hat das zwei Nächte lang auswendig gelernt und es zur Sicherheit noch ins Auto gelegt."

Studentische Mobilität in Gefahr

Ministerien mauern: Keine Lösung für Semestertickets in Sicht

Während für die "meisten Menschen in Deutschland" mit dem 49€ Ticket ihre Mobilitätsprobleme eigentlich gelöst sein sollten, stehen einige "Randgruppen" immer noch vor großen Problemen. Dabei sehen wir großzügig darüber hinweg, dass

nur etwa 12 Millionen von 80 Millionen so ein Ticket gekauft haben,

es sich viele wegen ihres Preises nicht leisten können,

für Kinder, Jugendliche, Studenten und Rentner keine entsprechenden Angebote vorhanden sind (dazu gleich mehr),

es in vielen Gegenden - vor allem auf dem Land - überhaupt keinen ausreichenden Nahverkehr gibt.

Aber abgesehen von diesen "Kleinigkeiten", die ein gewissenhafter Verkehrsminister ja angehen könnte, sind wir einen Schritt weiter als ohne das Ticket. Nun schreiben uns das Landes-ASten-Treffens NRW in seiner aktuellen Pressemitteilung zur Zukunft des dortigen Semestertickets.

Immer noch keine Lösung für das Semesterticket - Studentische Mobilität steht auf der Kippe

Das Modell für ein bundesweit gültiges Semesterticket wird auf Bundesebene weiterhin blockiert. Es gibt weder eine langfristige Lösung noch eine Übergangslösung für das kommende Semester. Viele Studierendenvertretungen stehen daher kurz vor der Vertragskündigung des bisherigen Tickets.

Das Landes-ASten-Treffen NRW kritisiert, dass Studierende elf Wochen nach Start des Deutschlandtickets immer noch keine Gewissheit haben, wie es mit dem Semesterticket weitergeht. Eine in den Medien diskutierte bundesweite Lösung wird von einzelnen Ministerien immer noch blockiert. Sollten die Verhandlungen weiter verzögert werden, droht den Verkehrsverbünden eine Kündigungswelle der Ticketverträge. Viele ASten bereiten sich gerade darauf vor, die teilweise seit 30 Jahren laufenden Vereinbarungen mit den lokalen Verkehrsunternehmen zu beenden. Die Mobilität der armutsgefährdeten Gruppe der Studierenden steht auf der Kippe.

"Die Blockade einzelner Bundesländer und des Bundesfinanzministeriums stellt Studierendenschaften in NRW vor große Probleme. Nach Monaten ergebnisloser Gespräche mit Verkehrsunternehmen und der Landespolitik braucht es endlich eine Lösung, wie das Semesterticket gerettet werden kann. Kündigungen, die viele ASten gerade vorbereiten, müssen verhindert werden. Sonst stehen auch viele Verkehrsunternehmen vor finanziellen Problemen", so Katharina Rummenhöller, Koordinatorin des Landes-ASten-Treffens NRW.

Die derzeitig vorbereiteten Kündigungen basieren auf der rechtlichen Einschätzung zweier Rechtsgutachten. Der Preisabstand zwischen dem neu eingeführten 49-Euro-Ticket und den bestehenden Semestertickets ist zu gering, ein Gericht könnte die Solidarfinanzierung der Studierendentickets deswegen für unrechtmäßig erklären. Damit würde sich für viele Studierende die Mobilität verteuern. Für lokale Verkehrsunternehmen würde eine sichere und verlässliche Finanzierung wegfallen. Die Semestertickets finanzieren den Nahverkehr in NRW mit einem dreistelligen Millionenbetrag.

David Wiegmann, Koordinator des Landes-ASten-Treffens NRW, ergänzt: "Auch die individuelle Ebene muss bedacht werden. Viele Studierende zahlen jetzt mehr für ihr Semesterticket als Arbeitnehmer*innen für ihr Jobticket. Dabei sind ein Drittel aller Studierenden armutsgefährdet. Wenn die beteiligten Ministerien weiterhin keine Lösung anbieten, wird diese soziale Schieflage billigend in Kauf genommen."

Amanda Steinmaus, ebenfalls Koordinatorin des Landes-ASten-Treffens NRW, betont: "Die Studierendenvertretungen sind landes- und bundesweit gut vernetzt und kennen die unterschiedlichen Problemlagen vor Ort. Wir brauchen schnellstmöglich eine günstige Übergangslösung und langfristig ein Konzept, das die Bedürfnisse ländlicher und urbaner Studierender zusammenbringt und die Hochschullandschaft sowie die lokalen Verkehrsunternehmen stärkt. Stattdessen lässt uns die Politik im Regen stehen."

Ich will die Zeit zurück, wo RAF Camora auf Platz 1 war. Die Zeit, wo es kein TikTok gab. Die Zeit, wo Döner 2€ gekostet hat. Die Zeit, wo wir unser Leben genießen konnten und nicht ahnen konnten, was auf uns zukommt.

Die Spaziergänge in Düsseldorf fehlen mir. Essencity fehlt mir. Mein Herz zerreißt, wenn ich daran denke, wir damals im BMW durch die NRW gecruised sind. Tiefgründige Gespräche. Wir waren unzufrieden, wollten mehr Geld, mehr Zeit, mehr Aktion. Wir wollten Reisen, raus aus Deutschland.

Ich bin jetzt raus aus Deutschland, aber ohne dich. Ohne euch. Ohne sie, ohne ihn. Habe euch zurück gelassen, habe das Gefühl, ein Teil in mir ist gestorben, doch in Deutschland war ich schon längst tot innerlich.

Habe angefangen zu leben, habe angefangen zu lachen. Meine Seele wieder in meinem Körper fühle mich lebendig. Aber manchmal vermisse ich es dich zu umarmen, mit dir zusammen traurig zu sein. Mit dir zu träumen, mit dir Träume zu schmieden und daraus Pläne zu machen. Mit dir zu lächeln. Du fehlst. Ihr alle fehlt.

Ich schreibe euch in WhatsApp, ihr sagt ihr ruft an, doch am Ende meldet sich niemand. Das Leben ist anstrengend, zu viel los. Ich hab Verständnis, doch mein Herz tut weh.
