S2 E10 Agents of Shield 10th Anniversary
10 years ago today we…
Were NOT prepared for this episode!
Let out a little cheer as Skye shot Ward. (This was a very satisfying moment.)
Thought Rania was crazy. She has those crazy eyes.
Shouted at Trip to not come in!
Stared at our TV as something was happening to Skye and Trip tried to save her!
Saw Trip for the last time as Skye became a new person.
Parden me while I go wipe the tears from my eyes! Trip was one of my favorite characters and I will never forgive them for killing him!
AOS Season 2 starts up back in March!
See you then!!!!!

because y’all really liked the last one, here’s
some of my favorite agents of shield fun facts (season 2 edition)
this is part one! i have a lot of season 2 facts so i split it into two parts!! 🫶🏼
- clark gregg found out coulson was the new director of shield a few days before filming.
- chloe bennet said playing skye in season two was almost like playing another person as skye’s bubbly personality has become more “muted”. chloe said some skye’s more muted personality is due to learning it from may as her SO.
- i don’t know if i just forgot or never payed too much attention to it (as i don’t remember this happening), but it’s said fitz’s hypoxia also caused him to lose function in one hand.
- elizabeth only found out she was going to start the season undercover days before filming. she also didn’t know it would be hydra until a day or two before filming.
- the character of hunter was created to be a direct opposite of coulson, but still on the good side. they pretty much made hunter a character to see how funny it would be for him to piss off coulson.
- in season one, skye was created to be the “eyes of the audience” when it came to shield. in season two, they made bobbi the new “eyes of the audience” as she’s new to coulson’s shield and the characters.
- henry simmons has auditioned for multiple roles in the MCU before he was called in to read for mack. they were nervous to cast him as he was said to be “too handsome” but they liked how sweet he was doing the scenes involving fitz so they gave him the role.
- the executive producers and showrunners had a two week break between finishing season one and starting season two.
- in the scenes where fitz is really struggling with the effects of hypoxia, some of them took multiple tales because elizabeth would start to cry and they would have to pull her aside and tell her simmons wouldn’t cry right now and restart the scene.
- the simmons that fitz imagines throughout the season is wearing the exact same outfit from the season one episode “FZZT”. before this simmons had never repeated an outfit in episodes, which is why the producers said her wearing a duplicate outfit was a sign this simmons may not be real.
- the set designers made the Playground dark and old-fashioned design-wise to provide a direct contrast to the new, bright Bus from season one to show shield going back to its 1940s routes as it rebuilds from scratch.
- they didn’t put a toilet in ward’s cell because it was an open set and the crew said they didn’t want to look at a toilet out in the open every time they worked there.
- the character of hartley was created to show the audience that nobody is safe and that a character can die just like that. damn they really said “don’t get too comfortable, they can all die that fast”
- chloe says there is a ton of easter egg’s throughout the show of skye and the number three. she says one is that she only wears three rings after season one but the fans should figure out the rest.
- to make it seem as if coulson’s team has become more experienced during season one, the cast went through a solider boot camp where they even had live-firing exercises with loaded g*ns.
like i said, this is part one of the season two facts. i’m working on season two part two and season three right now and i’ll post them ASAP :)

The Search for Mrs. Bingley
By now many Austen fans are familiar with a letter the author wrote to her sister Cassandra, claiming to have discovered Mrs. Jane Bingley's exact likeness in an exhibition of portraits:
Monday, May 24, 1813 [...] Henry & I went to the exhibition in Spring Gardens. It is not thought a good collection, but I was very well pleased—particularly (pray tell Fanny) with a small portrait of Mrs. Bingley, excessively like her. I went in hopes of seeing one of her Sister, but there was no Mrs. Darcy;—perhaps however, I may find her in the Great Exhibition which we shall go to, if we have time;—I have no chance of her in the collection of Sir Joshua Reynolds’s Paintings which is now showing in Pall Mall, & which we are also to visit.—Mrs. Bingley’s is exactly herself, size, shaped face, features & sweetness; there never was a greater likeness. She is dressed in a white gown, with green ornaments, which convinces me of what I had always supposed, that green was a favourite colour with her.* I dare say Mrs. D. will be in Yellow. […] —Monday even—We have been both to the Exhibition & Sir J. Reynolds’,—and I am disappointed, for there was nothing like Mrs. D. at either.—I can only imagine that Mr. D. prizes any Picture of her too much to like it should be exposed to the public eye.—I can imagine he wd have that sort [of ommitted] feeling—that mixture of Love, Pride & Delicacy. Setting aside this disappointment, I had great amusement among the Pictures; & the Driving about, the Carriage been open, [sic] was very pleasant (Le Faye, pp. 212-3).
Of course Austen scholars have searched for this portrait. The first resource to check is of course the catalogue of this exhibition, which was The Exhibition of the Society of Painters in Oil and Water Colours at The Great Room, Spring Gardens in London.
In 1986, Lance Bertelson used this catalogue to narrow down the possibilities, as he saw them, to 5:
Huet-Villiers, "Portrait of Mrs. Crompton" (catalogue no. 3)
Huet-Villiers, "Portrait of a Lady" (no. 27)
C. J. Robertson, "Portrait of Lady Anderson" (no. 15)
C. J. Robertson, "Portrait of Mrs. Clarke, of Weston [listed as such in the catalogue: but it should be 'Welton'] Place" (no. 116)
C. J. Robertson, "Portrait of Lady Nelthorpe" (no. 246).
He writes, however, that his "inquiries to major public collections in Britain and the USA have failed to turn up any of the above paintings"; but they may still exist in private collections. He says we know the portrait of Lady Nelthorpe to have been in Mrs. C. B. Prowse's private collection as of 1929. It was described by Basil Long thusly:
It is on ivory, about 7 3/4 in. x 5 3/4 in., and is signed at the back C. J. Robertson, pinxit / Apr: 1813. It is a 3/4 length portrait of a lady seated on a rustic bench in a landscape, with her hat on her lap... The face is shaded with brown and gray.
Two years later, in 1988, Martha Rainbolt has more success: she writes that "[b]y searching through the art libraries in London and this country [the USA], I have found some of the portraits and information about some of the other ones" (very annoyingly, she does not say where). She lists out 11 possibilities for the painting of Jane Bennet Bingley—everything in the catalogue claiming to feature a "girl," "Miss," "Mrs.," or "Lady":
"Girl in a Wood," Thomas Uwins (sometimes spelled Unwins)
"Girl decorating her Hair with Hops," Thomas Uwins
"Girl Reading a Ballad," Thomas Uwins
"Portrait of a Lady in the Character of Hebe," Jean Francois Marie Huet-Villiers
"Portrait of Lady Nelthorpe," Charles John Robertson
"Portrait of Lady Anderson," Charles John Robertson
"Portrait of Mrs. Crompton," Jean Huet-Villiers
"Portrait of Miss Smirnove," James Stephanoff
"Portrait of a Young Lady," James Hewlett
"Portrait of Mrs. Clarke, of Weston [sic] Place," Charles John Robertson
"Portrait of a Lady," Jean Huet-Villiers
According to Rainbolt, paintings 1 and 2 can be eliminated because they are of children. Painting 3 "is a work in the Italian style, rather grand and quite romanticized. This woman with her dark hair and sentimental look could not be the likeness of Jane Bingley" (I can't say I understand why Rainbolt thinks that Jane mustn't have dark hair). Painting 4 is of "a bare bosomed, very voluptuous lady sharing the canvas with an eagle who is hovering over her cup," and Rainbolt feels that this, too, can be eliminated.
Painting 5 is a possibility which Bertelson also mentioned. However, Rainbolt points out that it is a miniature, and Austen described the picture of Mrs. Bingley as a "small portrait"; and that Lady Nelthorpe would have been middle-aged at this time, and so not a good candidate for 23-year-old Mrs. Bingley. Of painting 6, Rainbolt says that the subject would also be too old (as she had been middle-aged as of the late 1780s).
This leaves paintings 7 through 11. Rainbolt was only able to locate information about one of them: #11, Jean Huet-Villiers' "Portrait of a Lady."
We don't still have this portrait. We don't know whether it still exists, and we don't have any photographs taken of it. What we do have is what is likely a copy of the portrait, in the form of a tinted engraving by William Blake:
The title of the engraving ("Mrs. Q," referring to Harriet Quentin, mistress of the Prince of Wales) is different from what the exhibition catalogue lists as the title of the Huet-Villiers portrait, but Rainbolt doesn't see this as problematic: the title had likely been changed in the exhibition to maintain the subject's anonymity, as was common practice at the time.
Rainbolt felt that the colour of the gown and ornament, and the "sweetness" of the face depicted, made it very likely that this was the portrait in question—though she notes that "It would be helpful if the portraits of Mrs. Crompton, Miss Smirnove, Hewlett's 'Young Lady,' and Mrs. Clarke would surface to be examined."
There was also a small problem, in the fact that Austen wrote green ornaments, while this gown only has one: but Rainbolt thinks that "This discrepancy might be explained by the circumstances: Jane Austen was writing an informal letter to her sister recalling the exhibition; she did not have the portrait in front of her when she wrote."
Deirdre Le Faye, writing in 1997, feels the question to still be an open one:
[...] [T]he three miniatures by Charles John Robertson in the same exhibition, of Lady Nelthorpe (No. 246) and her sisters-in-law Lady Anderson (No. 15), and Mrs. Clark of Welton [not Weston] Place (No. 116), cannot be completely ruled out as alternatives. (Footnote 4, pp. 416-7)
However, in the years since Le Faye wrote, and apparently without anyone noticing (?), that first miniature has appeared on auction site Christie's:
I think we can rule out this portrait as a possibility, due to the lack of any green ornamentation to the gown.

anyway, if you look at free to play guides and articles, recommending 4 stars only teams, and these team don't work for you, it's not just "skill issue". tho ofc average player will not have as much practice as ppl who play this game for a living. artifacts play a huge role, if you don't have good artifacts, even broken 5 stars won't help in the abyss, at least.
but also, these guides almost always use c6 r5 characters without mentioning, and for many 4 star constellations matter SO MUCH. some characters straight up unplayable without cons.
so i wanted to go thru the list of most popular meta 4 stars and list the importance of their cons and weapons just so you can have reference if it makes sense for you to use them:
Xiangling - literally unplayable in serious abyss teams before C4. C4 gives plus 40% burst duration, at which point she's broken. She wants r5 catch or basically any 5 star spear, as long as you have like 200% er. 4 piece emblem set, no options, crit hat, pyro cup, er\em\atk sands, should have at least 100 EM overall.
Bennet - his importance con is C1, bc otherwise he either heals or gives atk buff, but most teams that want him will be ok with C0 Benny. Unless it's a nche team that relies on Benny's pyro infusion, then only C6. wants a sword with highest base attack you have. skyward blade is probably his best option bc it has er and high base atk, aquila favonia has higher atk, but you'll need more er, for f2p options sumeru craftable sword is best option, but if your team REALLY struggles with energy, you can use favonius sword. benny's weapon needs to be max level.
Xingqiu - C0 feels so bad to play, bc it's so hard to get enough energy off-field. Teams that want him like pyro carries with vape or hyperbloom will still be playable, but just feel kinda bad. Starts feeling ok at C2, at C6 becomes comparable to C0 Yelan. Wants sacrificial sword R5 or at least R3, if your sac sword is lower than r3, it's better to use favonius sword. 4 piece emblem set or 4 piece noblesse set if used with hypercarries like arle who cares about atk. use ER sands if you can't get enough energy to burst off cool down.
Fischl - pretty good at C0, but truly broken at C6. Wants stringless bow or 5 star bows. 4 piece golden troupe best option, but can work with thundering fury or combos of 2 pieces
Yao Yao - actual free to play hero, already great at C0, her cons basically don't matter. Event hp healer staff or just fav lance is good. if used in a team with majority dendro damage like alhaitham or tighnari, etc, then use deepwood, if used to just proc aggravate with like clorinde\keqing\yae\raiden + fischl, then 4 piece instructor is her best option.
Sucrose - becomes playable at C1. When guides say she's as good as kazuha, they mean C6, and it's a lie anyway, bc what they mean is that on paper damage calculations are similar. But in actual play her grouping is nowhere near kazuha and her burst actually ungroups enemies when unlucky. Wants sacrificial fragments and 4 piece vv with EM stats, no options.
Kuki - another f2p hero and hyperbloom goddess, good at C0, great at C2, immortal at C6. get as much EM as you can on her, should be near 1000, weapon usually iron sting. doesnt care about ER or anything else, minmax EM
Chevreuse - already good at C0 if you have strong pyro or electro carries. at C6 pretty broken. ONLY good in teams with only pyro and electro, nothing else, both need to be there. wants HP stats.
Beidou - good against 2+ enemies, but CANNOT trigger hyperbloom. Can be okay at C0, good at C4, pretty good at C6.
Thoma - for burgeon can use C0.
Layla - decent shield only after C2.
Noelle - usually shown in Furina teams as a driver, becomes decent at C6.

WIP Wednesday
I have so many ideas for this OC, but none are cooperating with me.
Meet Bricks!
Simon notices, immediately, when the American girl enters the bar. First of all, she’s loud. Announces her arrival with a blast of laughter that rings through the room, for all that she’s surrounded by a group of rowdy people. Secondly, she’s dark-skinned, voluptuous, and seems to want everyone to know it. She’s dressed for the clubs more than a side street bar. Two guys she’s arrived with are obviously vying for her attention, but she floats over to one of the active pool tables and immediately starts flirting for the next game. Simon’s not immune to a soft woman with miles of leg, so he can’t blame any of them for welcoming her and her posse.
“Damn,” Kyle mutters, giving her an appreciative once over from his seat.
“What?” Johnny asks, looking over his shoulder like a fucking muppet. “Oh, damn.”
Price arches an eyebrow at Simon. “That good?” When he gets a nod, he turns to look. “…Damn.”
She has to know that everyone at the bar is looking at her, but she doesn’t seem to care. Just talks and laughs, flirts with the men and women around her like breathing. Simon never loses awareness of her. She’s in his sight line. But eventually, he’s integrated her into his awareness of the space. She’s a bright spot, but not rowdy enough to cause issues.
And then she passes their table on the way to the bathroom with her friends. She meets Simon’s eyes, gives him a quick up and down look, then winks with a little smirk as she disappears from view.
“What about you, LT?” Johnny’s voice breaks in.
Simon replays the conversation in his mind for a moment. Recruit performance. Lance Corporal Bennett. “Don’t much care for him. ‘S cocky and mean.”
“Good scores,” Kyle points out.
“He talks shit about the others,” Simon counters. “Good scores don’t mean shit if no one wants to work with him. We’ll see how he does with coordinated drills.”
“Now, Bakshi,” Price says, “he’s got promise. Scores are decent, and I can’t find a single person to say anything bad about him. Except Bennett.”
Johnny snorts. “Except Bennet.”
Simon lets the conversation fade away again. The pool tables are getting a bit rowdy without the American and her girl friends to dilute the testosterone. A couple of the boys over there are from the base, and they keep throwing glances over to the 141s table, and a table of other officers across the room. They’re keeping things cool. For now.
Just as chests are starting to puff enough that even Johnny and Kyle are paying attention, the girls reappear and diffuse the tension. The American says something that knocks the wind out of one boy’s sails and laughs as she takes his pool stick. She buzzes a kiss against his cheek, then playfully shoves another guy to rack. Just like that, the energy settles.
Simon lets himself be coaxed back into the discussion, especially now that the topics have strayed away from work. He can’t turn the hyper-vigilance off, but he likes going to the bar with his team. Likes talking books and TV shows with Price and mocking Johnny’s taste. He likes listening to Kyle talk music. He’s entering an artist’s name into his notes app, which is why he doesn’t notice the American strutting over until she’s right between Johnny and Kyle.
“Hey guys,” she says with a grin, leaning onto the table. “I thought about asking if any of you have a light, but my friends are leaving to get laid and the pool boys are boring. Can I hang out here until they lose interest? I’ll buy you a round.”
Price snorts into his whiskey. “They stop buying you drinks, then?”
“All they want to buy is drinks,” she laments, fluttering her eyelashes and pouting. “I’ve had three, but they’re not getting any more interesting. I’d rather have some fries and sit and chat.”
“Pull up a chair, bonnie lass,” Johnny says, which predictably gets the girl cooing over his accent.
She introduces herself as Ericka, an American student working on her Masters. She talks with her whole body, and doesn’t seem to know how to have a conversation without flirting. She hates the gym. She likes riding horseback, and winks at Simon when she mentions it. She “kind of pegged you guys as military. It’s the muscles.” She prefers whiskey over scotch, and her friends were supposed to take her clubbing tonight.
“But Tracy’s boyfriend hates going dancing, and she’s got a spine of a jellyfish,” she says, rolling her eyes. She’s waving a fry for emphasis. “So of course, we ended up here after I dressed up-up. Trust me, I know this is not a casual night at the pub type dress. I didn’t get the change of plans until the uber dropped us off out front. But I guess it turned out alright. I have no idea what kind of music I’d have been subjected to. Devon has shit taste, so I probably dodged a bullet.”
Even with as much as she’s batting her lashes and sending him interested glances, Ericka doesn’t try to make Simon talk more. With the rest of the table, she’s an excellent conversationalist. As he scans the bar again, he listens to her pick up the music topic with Kyle, drawing Price into a light hearted disagreement. Turns to Johnny with a pout for a tiebreaker. Which somehow gets them all into discussion of the best rock and roll genres. She talks, she listens, she engages. It’s refreshing. Most of the Americans they have to deal with are pushy and self-important officers and mercenaries.
Simon’s not above admitting that it helps that she’s beautiful.
After a couple of hours, it’s nearing 1am. Right on schedule, Kyle yawns. “Sorry, sorry. Not a night owl like some.”
“’S late,” Price admits. “Should probably head out. You have a ride home, Ericka?”
“Yeah, I’ll call a car,” she says, easily. “Thanks for hanging out with me, I’ll have to come back some time.”
“If we’re in town, we’re here,” Johnny says, grinning.
Outside, Erikca’s car gets delayed a couple of times, so Simon sends the boys ahead home and stays to wait with her. Price claps him on the shoulder and Johnny gives him an exaggerated wink. Ericka rolls her eyes and shoos them away when their car arrives.
“So,” she says, when it’s just the two of them. “Was I too subtle before, or are you interested in coming back to my place?”
“Barely spoke to you all night,” Simon points out.
“Come over and you can tell me about your tattoos,” she purrs. Then she smirks. “Or not. Up to you. But I figured I’d shoot my shot.”
[Super sexy sex happens here. Probably.]
Monday morning, Ghost sips a fresh brewed travel mug of tea and listens idly to Soap’s chatter on the way to one of the smaller briefing rooms. He’s looking forward to seeing Laswell, who’s on their side of the pond for a change. It’s always good for him to lay eyes on allies and confirm for himself that they’re alive.
It’s a shock, then, when he and Soap open the door to be greeted by Kate in deep discussion with Ericka.
Soap, of course, is more than happy to say what they’re both thinking. “What the fuck?”
When Ericka looks up and sees them, she grins. “Hey there, boys.”
Price and Gaz, when they arrive, are similarly gobsmacked. Once everyone is settled Lazwell stands.
“From your faces, you’ve all met,” she says. “So I won’t beat around the bush. Say hello to your new infiltration asset. Meet Bricks.”
All of them are speechless as Ericka lays four gray USB sticks on the table. They’re all the ones Price had distributed Thursday, with instructions that the keep one on them at all times. Plus an extra one. If Simon had to guess, Gaz was the one to have a decoy on him.
“Bullshite,” Soap says, pulling an identical USB stick from his pocket. “I’ve had mine on me the whole time.”
“Decoy,” Ericka, Bricks, says. “Slide the port out, you’ll see a pink dot.”
Simon pulls his from his pocket, pushes the little slider. Faded, but present, there’s a pink spot of permanent marker. “Fuck.”
“She’s one of the best infiltration assets we have,” Kate goes on. “She’ll be joining you to get information from Jacó Barboza. We have reason to believe he’s the link between Moscow and Rio, which opens the door to Bogotá.”

Fancasting the Giffen-DeMatteis-Maguire era Justice League International in the DCU
It's Bwa-ha-ha time. Basically every character who hasn't been cast yet (i.e. everyone except Guy Gardner and Booster Gold, who I've assumed is set to be played by Kumail Nanjiani).
Brandon Sklenar (1923, Midway, It Ends With Us) as Bruce Wayne/Batman
-Can Pull off "Certified Hunk" -Looks great in a suit -Isn't just "stern guy with deep voice" -Build is near-perfect. built & muscular, but not too wide. -Fairly reasonable age to be handling Damien & rest of Bat-Family.
Rob McElhenney(It's Always Sunny In Philladelphia, Mythic Quest) as Ted Kord/Blue Beetle II
-Can play dorky, fed up, and "IQ lowered when around a certain person" -Other than that, pretty big range, great with physical performance. -Similar age to Kumail Nanjiani, who I've accepted is playing Booster. -Can basically play any body type.
Daniel Radcliffe(Swiss Army Man, Weird: The Al Yankovic Story) as Scott Free/Mister Miracle
-Incredible range, could play any version of the character, Kirby, King, whatever -Leaning towards the King interpretation, can still look great disheveled. -Relatively short, would make whoever plays Barda look bigger by comparison.
Demi "Rhea Ripley" Bennet(WWE) as Barda Free/Big Barda OKAY HEAR ME OUT HEAR ME OUT -She can play big and intimidating. -Also shows decent amount of emotion in sparse moments during performances/in interviews. -Built perfectly, toned body, with broad shoulders. -Has potential to be next great wrestler-turned actress, in the vein of Dave Bautista and John Cena.
Warwick Davis(Return of the Jedi, Willow, Life's Too Short) as Oberon Kurtzberg
-Decent range, able to go toe to toe with Val Kilmer in Willow. -Able to be funnier than one might expect, see Life's Too Short. -Aside from the hair, he's the spitting image of Oberon as drawn by Kevin Maguire.
Camila Mendes(Riverdale, Do Revenge, Palm Springs) as Beatriz DaCosta/Fire.
-Shows great amount of potential as an actress -Can play the kind of endearing, charming, fun, and slightly airheaded personality that I want for fire very easily. -Is of Brazilian descent. -Has experience with goofy/comic book-y plots.
Ulrikke Falch(Skam/Shame) as Tora Olafsdotter/Ice
-Can nail the girl-next-door, yet also extremely sincere energy I would like Ice to have. -Is a Norwegian actress who can speak perfect english. -Is of similar age to my pick for Fire. -Is just an overall well-educated and smart person, in addition to being a fantastic performer.
Samara Weaving(Ready or Not, Scream VI, Bill and Ted Face The Music) as Dinah Drake Lance/Black Canary II -Can play just really done with everything, as in JLI -Spectacular at deadpan comedy. -Can kick serious ass -Has a killer scream
Anna Akana(Amphibia, Wrestling isn't Wrestling) as Kimiyo Hoshi/Doctor Light II -Her work on Matt Braly's Amphibia shows an impressive range, from dramatic to comedic, something she excels at. -Can play that kind of overly-driven, borderline arrogant personality seen in Crisis on Infinite Earths.
Viggo Mortensen(The Lord of the Rings, Eastern Promises, A History of Violence) as Kent Nelson/Doctor Fate I
-Has that kind of Gravitas/Prestige needed to bring Doctor Fate to life -Can play that kind of cold/borderline nihilistic vibe Kent had in Ram V's JLD run,
Jimmy Tatro(22 Jump Street, American Vandal, Theater Camp) as Captain Marvel/Shazam -Has the kind of Childlike Himbo sort of energy, as seen in 22 Jump Street & American Vandal, that works real well for Captain Marvel/Shazam. -Also shows decent amount of emotional range, not just comedic, in American Vandal
Leslie Odom, Jr.(Hamilton, Glass Onion, Murder on the Orient Express, One Night In Miami) as J'onn J'onzz/John Jones/Martian Manhunter. -Has the chops. Odom, Jr. is one of the most electric performers in recent memory. -Performance as Aaron Burr in Hamilton (specifically in "The Election of 1800) proves he can pull off the Cooke-esque "Corny as a comic book" performative nature of John Jones. -Could also nail that betrayed look that MM had in New Frontier after hearing about John Wilson's death. And that's it. Not totally confident with some of these choices, but if these performers become the lineup for the JLI, I think we'll get some great portrayals of these beloved characters. Let me know if you think I'm on to something or if I should just shut up already.

S2 E3 Agents of Shield 10th Anniversary
10 years ago today we…
Started the episode shocked that Simmons is undercover at Hydra!
Laughed as “Dad Coulson” came out. (I can hear him say sriracha!)
Smiled as Fitz faced Ward for the first time since he was dropped in the ocean. (My baby being brave!)
Were conflicted about Simmons’ dilemma of helping Donnie and keeping her cover. (My other baby staying strong undercover!
Left feeling uneasy as it was revealed that Hydra was using hypnosis!
Had our jaws drop as we watched Skye shot and killed Donnie (and in turn became a very important moment in her character arc)
Sorry this came out so late! I actually forgot to do this, sorry!

Hi so like. Not a question you have to answer at all if you don’t want to. Totally understand
Do you know what the period appropriate regency euphemisms for like having sex would have been? Just like. causal conversation. What words would you use for like “I had sex with her”
You do not even know how prepared I am for this question!!!
I did a bunch of research while writing a very smutty story about Jane and Bingley called A Little Before Their Marriage. Spoiler: Mrs. Bennet gives the best sex talk ever and she knows slang! I even read Fanny Hill (widely considered to be the first erotic novel). It's bad, I'll post a review.
The main source is Green's Dictorinary of Slang, some terms are summarized here. And I'll highlight some below the jump (swears down there):
Fuck is super old, about 1600s. Same meaning as today.
Cunt has meant "vagina" for 800 years. So go wild with that one!
A lot of vagina slang has to do with holes (chimney, burrow, cellar) and penis with poles (lance, pen, maypole). Shocking isn't it! The term quim for vagina came up in a lot of the erotica I read. Machine was Fanny Hill's favourite term for penis.
Alter of Venus is an awesome term for vagina. I personally find rogered to be a fun term for sex (and I know it was used by rich people). Roger also means penis.
Things to avoid: Dick does not mean penis until late in the 1800s, so not during Austen's time. Make love does not mean sex until 1930-ish. Also, rutting has an animal connotation which may be slightly racist/classiest.
Have fun!

For the planned American adaptation of “Extraordinary Attorney Woo”, this would be how I’d cast the series:
(Note: obviously the names would be changed due to the difference in setting)
1) Kayla Cromer as Woo Young-woo
2) Rish Shah as Lee Jun-ho
3) Lance Reddick as Jung Myung-seok
4) Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Woo Gwang-ho
5) Chloe Bennet as Choi Su-yeon
6) Anthony Ramos as Kwon Min-woo
7) Maya Hawke as Dong Geu-ra-mi

I love SHIELD photoshoots. Especially when they’re dramatically lit to underscore “we’re a serious show” & and then everyone tosses out one-liners like it’s their job every single episode
