Extensive look at every part of Luis's childhood home GRAND FINALE
Quite possibly the most interesting thing about the house, the ✨️void room✨️
While I could go on and on about conspiracies about this oddity, for this post I'm just going to focus on my solid observations without much commentary. But to highlight weirdness, I will make some comparisons to other areas.
First of all, it's actually visible on the map.
Tumblr media
And here it is highlighted on exterior pictures of the house
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
NOW INTO THE WEIRDNESS. One more exterior section, the backyard. It has one weird ass wall, despite the rest of the backside of the house having normal walls, aside from some weird clipping with the fireplace.
Tumblr media
AND NOW LET'S GO INSIDE.
It's accessed through the house's living room. (For reference the photo mode mod I'm using isn't a straight up totally free camera, it's just had the distance limits removed. While it gives a whole lot of freedom, I cannot just go straight through walls.) Moving the camera up, you go to these wood pieces, and then you can go through the hole.
Tumblr media
And then…
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Two walls are normal, two are Weird. And the "floor" is just… Ground.
Last thing I'm going to leave some pictures of somewhere else, unrelated to the lakeside settlement. The townhall has an unused room accessible with free cam by going through a window. Which, to me at least, makes the void room seem a lot weirder by comparison, all 4 walls appear mostly normal, and the floor is carpet.)
Tumblr media
I'll save my insane conspiracy thoughts about the void room for another post :)

More SequenceShift Fun Facts
Decided to do another round of these until I get more asks or art out there. Hope this'll hold things over for now. Also here's the first on in case you haven't seen it
Kit the Fox (aka Kanako) acts in a similar manner to Flowey in Undertale Yellow, as in she acts as Clover's SAVE feature. However, unlike UTY, Clover himself can also SAVE on his own (albeit with a bit of guidance). And unlike Flowey, Kit absolutely loves this and sees a sort of kindred spirit with Clover.
Kit herself is something of a 'Flowey-in-Progress'. She's been experimenting with her SAVE and RESET powers but hasn't gone on rampages quite like Flowey has...not yet anyway. She's also a bit more childish and immature than him.
Instead of a bunch of scattered Monsters, the inhabitants of the Remnants (aka ruins) are a part of a small community that's helmed by Chujin. Generally, these are a mix of monsters from different backgrounds, some followers of Chujin, others who remained even after the city was abandoned.
To fit in with the mix of Western and Asian influence in SS, Clover wields both a gun and a katana in combat.
Before she was Empress, Ceroba sometimes joined in on the Feisty Five's antics in the Wild East as a way to detox a little bit from being Princess. She stopped after her mother passed and she was made Empress, but Ceroba still kept her hat to remind her of those days.
Martlet in SequenceShift is canonically an amputee and has fancy metal legs that she and Chujin worked on. Some of the flashbacks will even have her in a wheelchair prior to the prosthetics.
On a Pacifist Run, Dina's boss fight on Frostpeak will be skipped entirely. It's instead replaced with an encounter where she offers to take Clover to Frostpeak Settlement by giving them a piggyback ride.
While Dalv visits the Remnants frequently, he actually lives in Frostpeak, just a little bit outside of the Settlement itself. He still has Pops around and works on both his organ playing and making children's books. However, he's still fairly reclusive, with Starlo being perhaps the only person he's really opened up to recently, aside from Chujin.
Of all Six Rangers, Moray and Mooch have the strongest bond with eachother. Due to both being assigned to Lakeside, they generally spend time with one another and share their concerns over the Empress's orders and Starlo's undying loyalty to her.
A follow up on the last post I made, Dina occasionally joins Sans in making puns. This irritates Papyrus to no end.
If there's anything I haven't covered so far, feel free to ask me!

How'd We End Up Like This?
AO3
Wattpad
Chapters: 1/?
Word Count: 1.3K
Fandom: Biohazard | Resident Evil (Gameverse)
Rating: Mature
Warnings: canon-typical violence, swearing, slight nsfw, RE4 Remake spoilers
Pairing: Leon S. Kennedy/female!reader
Summary: The reader is struck by some mysterious aching in her back during her and Leon's mission to save the President's daughter. The pain is revealed to be something far greater than she anticipated. Will this jeopardize her relationship with Leon?
Chapter 1: The Village
It happened on one of your missions. Of course it did.
You were slower with your reflexes to attacks. As an agent in STRATCOM, this was highly unusual. Your partner and lover, Leon, had noticed, while the two of you were on your mission in Spain.
You first took notice to the slow reactions when doing, or trying, a roundhouse kick on a Ganado at the lakeside settlement. Your body decided nope, you're not doing that, and surprisingly, you agreed. The act of even attempting it sent a rigid feeling, or perhaps a pretty nasty sting, to your back.
When you stopped to catch your breath, one Ganado lunged for your throat. You repeatedly punched the bastard to death, with little to no trouble. However, unbeknownst to you, there were two others behind you. One Ganado kicked the back of your knees, and before you could even react, you were pinned to the ground, and they kicked you. In the back. Repeatedly.
They were possessed but that didn't make them stupid, you supposed. They must have noticed your reaction to the pain in your back, which was now being beaten like a fucking punching bag.
Despite it hurting like a bitch, you're able to unsheathe your combat knife, and roll over to swipe at their legs. Before you can whip out your handgun, two shots ring out, and the two Ganados promptly drop dead. Leon helps you up, grasping your arms ever so delicately.
"You alright?"
"Yeah. Yeah, I'm good." You answer, slightly out of breath. Leon only nods, looking back ahead on the path, but you don't miss the concerned look that grazes his features.
This has never happened before. What the fuck is going on with me?
Despite the occasional flash of pain that inflicted your back, you carried on with the mission. You and Leon had gotten split up at the lakeside settlement shortly after your beating.
You knew Leon could handle himself, but at one point, he was radio silent for hours. You'd shared your concerns with Hunnigan, and she agreed it was unusual. Eventually, he came to, to your relief.
"Leon, are you alright? You haven't made contact with me for hours." You couldn't mask the fear that surfaced in your voice.
"Yeah, I'm okay. Was busy making sushi. It won't happen again." He must have been referencing that giant fucking creature in the lake that you saw villagers getting eaten by earlier. Well, at least you got someplace to start looking for Leon.
"Okay. Don't do that again, love."
"Wouldn't dream of it, sweetheart."
Eventually you both reunited and retrieved the pieces to obtain the church key. Fucking finally.
The two of you rescued Ashley and were headed to the extraction point. It was fairly easy to get to the Villa, but an unfamiliar face ushered the three of you inside, away from the Ganados on your tail.
Leon, to say the least, was pissed at this dude and pushed him against the wall. You couldn't help the slight arousal that shot to your core seeing him like this, wishing it was you in this unknown man's position. But there was no time for that now. Ashley needed to be taken to safety and there was a huge fight approaching you guys and the rest of the village.
Once introducing yourselves to one Luis Sera, save for Leon, Ashley went into hiding and the three of you started blocking the windows and readying your weapons.
As if this mission couldn't get any more difficult, the Villa was quickly swarmed by villagers and eventually, a fucking Brute out of all things busts in.
"Fuck my life!" you curse out in frustration, reloading your pistol.
"Language, señorita!" Luis shouts at you, jokingly. Somehow through all the chaos, he was able to hear you.
"Shut it, you." you snap back. That was weird. I don't tend to be that snippy. Probably just stress from the mission.
"Yikes, sorry." he responded immediately. You felt a slight pang of guilt, but that was quickly replaced by the renewed determination to get out of this hellhole. Noticing Leon slowly getting cornered by the brute, and the second floor being crowded with Plaga Guadañas, you pull out two flash grenades from your belt.
"Flash grenades coming!" you shout, pulling pins on both grenades, and throw one to the brute, and one to the Guadañas. The Plaga Guadañas promptly die, and the brute is temporarily incapacitated. Given the opportunity, Leon blasts four shotgun shells into it, and finally, fucking finally, it drops dead.
The Ganados kept coming in waves, and there seemed to be no end to it.
"Hey! This way! Hurry!" Ashley opens a door leading to an escape.
The four of you get the bat out of hell, but only for a moment. You all reach the end of a bridge, still having Ganados chasing you. You notice chains keeping up a gate, and promptly shoot it, causing the gate to drop on an unfortunate villager.
You all take a moment to catch your breath, and then Ashley starts coughing. Coughing up blood.
"Ashley?!" You hear Leon voicing your same concern.
"Wh-What's happening to me?" she trembles.
Luis quickly approaches her, looking like he knows what's up.
"Ashley, is this the first time you've coughed up blood like this?" she only nods, and before you can even ask, Leon beats you to the punch.
"You wanna start explaining?"
Luis reveals that Ashley is infected with a plaga, and she could end up like those villagers, but there is a cure. You notice Leon's reaction to this; him clenching his fist, looking down at his arm. What's that about? You wonder, sorta worried, but maybe that's just you being a doting partner. Yeah, that's probably it.
Hopefully, the three of you can find that cure in time.
Luis leaves shortly after this revelation, claiming that the reason for his assistance is that it "makes him feel better." About what exactly? This mission is leaving you with more questions than answers. You knew this wasn't gonna be a simple mission, but you wish it was.
After a briefing with Hunnigan, which left some more bad news, you all start moving again. You didn't get very far, as that pain in your back came back, which oddly enough, afflicted your lower abdomen as well.
Leon and Ashley turn to you when they hear your sharp gasp, to see you clutching your lower back and your other hand resting on your abdomen. The two swiftly approach you, Leon especially.
"You okay?" Ashley asks, concerned.
"Yeah, it's just my back hurting from earlier."
"Earlier?" Ashley presses further.
"Two Ganados got the jump on me and kicked the shit out of my back."
"...Jesus. Are you okay to move?"
"Yeah, don't worry about me. Let's keep going."
"Hold on. Ashley, could you give me a minute with her?" Leon directs his gaze to you, failing to mask any concern from his features.
"O-Of course."
Checking to see the two of you are at a safe distance from Ashley, Leon begins his questioning.
"Are you sure you're alright?" He gently caresses your left arm, the two of you in closer proximity to each other. You sigh.
"I'm okay, Leon. Let's just worry about her." You nod your head in her direction, maintaining eye contact with him. You bring his hand to you, gripping it firmly in your hands. "I'll tell you if something is wrong." You gently kiss his knuckles, and trace along his forearm. You sneak a glance at it to see what he was looking at moments earlier, only to find nothing unusual.
"It's just-"
"I'll be okay, mon cœur.”
Sighing, Leon brings his hand to your face, letting it linger, with his eyes searching yours for any hint of a lie, only to find none. He lets his hand drop, and he starts walking along the path, with you and Ashley following suit.

Trunyan Kintamani, Bali, 1937. Trunyan Village is a remote mountain village on the eastern lakeside of Mount Batur, in central Bali’s Kintamani highlands. The settlement is known for its indigenous Balinese community, known as the Bali Aga, who have unique burial rites. Their deceased aren’t cremated in lavish funerary ceremonies as the majority of Balinese Hindus do, but rather laid out on the ground within the village’s literal boneyard. A White Christmas - Kaeya Alberich
Tumblr media
Pairing: Kaeya Alberich x reader
Genre: fluff!
Word Count: 800
Summary: used to the snow, you get a little sad spending Christmas in dry dreary Mondstadt—but your boyfriend is determined to change that
CW: straight fluff, reader has a lil seasonal depression, poor knowledge of Genshin seasons, kaeya being adorable
————
Christmas in Mondstadt this year was proving to be nothing more than dreary. It had gotten cold seemingly overnight, but it didn’t result in the snow that everyone was hoping for. No, all it succeeded in doing was killing the lush green plant life.
After spending so much time around the snow, a Christmas season without it was just too strange for you. Most days you would be found sitting in the windowsill reading a book, knees drawn up into your chest.
Kaeya would come visit you after work and sigh at the sight. He knew you already struggled with being lonely since moving to Mondstadt, and seeing the disappointed look on your face at the depressing weather only made his heart ache for you.
That’s how he came up with the perfect idea, and that’s what led him to your front door tonight.
“Kae,” you raise an eyebrow at your blue haired boyfriend, “come inside! It’s freezing out! What are you doing out in the cold?”
He shakes his head, giving you a toothy grin. “Nope—put something warm on, you’re coming out here!”
“Now?”
“Now!” He affirms, leaning against the rails on your doorstep.
Luckily for him, his Cryo vision helped him withstand the cold better than the average person. Even while he waited for you to scramble around the house for your coat and mittens and toque, he barely felt the biting cold.
You step outside and lock your front door, reaching to take your boyfriend’s gloved hand in yours. “So, what’s so important that you had to drag me out into the cold at 9pm?”
“You’ll see,” he says simply and starts to lead you through the cobbled streets of Mondstadt.
He leads you through the outer gates, across the bridge and down winding paths. You’re outside so long that your face starts to feel numb, blood rushing to your cheeks in a desperate attempt to keep you warm.
The sky takes on a certain pallor, the way it always does when it’s about to snow. It’s almost enough to raise your hopes about how bad this season has been. Almost.
It’s only when Kaeya leads you down a dimly lit trail towards a small lake lit up by Christmas lights that you start to question what’s happening. You don’t know how or why they’re Christmas decorations so far away from the nearest settlement, and you don’t question it.
Kaeya drops a bag he’d been carrying over his shoulder onto the ground, nudging it towards you. “Here,” he says. “I-I brought something for you.”
You kneel down and raise an eyebrow, unzipping the bag and slowly unpacking its contents. In the bag are two pairs of skates, one of which is in exactly your size.
“Skates?” You breathe, “but there’s no ice.”
He flashes you a beaming smile. “We’ll see about that.”
You look at him seriously, about to question what he’s doing until he crouched down at the lakeside. With a flick of his wrist, he uses his Cryo vision and suddenly ice spreads across the surface of the lake.
You watch in awe as the water solidifies before your eyes. Kaeya does it a few times, making sure the ice is thick and solid and won’t crack beneath your combined weights.
“Here,” he says, crouching in front of you with your skates. “I’ll help.”
He helps you lace up the skates before lacing up his own and helping you to your feet. You’re wobbly at first, skate guards unsteady on the grass around the lake. Kaeya let’s you put a hand on his shoulder to steady yourself while you take them off before stepping onto the ice.
The familiar feeling of your skates digging into the frosted surface. Kaeya never drops his hand from yours, keeping his calloused fingers intertwined with yours.
“So,” he skates forwards, “do you—do you like it?”
His cheeks are pink from the cold, but you also sense there’s some embarrassment there.
You bite your lip and nod. “Thank you, Kae. It’s—it’s perfect.”
“I’m so glad you like it! I knew you were missing Christmas lately and…well…”
“It’s just what I needed,” you lean over and kiss his cheek, being careful not to send the two of you toppling over.
“Wait!” He pauses, the force of his stop making you stop too. “I forgot about just one thing.”
You open your mouth to ask but he’s planting his skates into the ice and using his Cryo vision once more. Somehow, he freezes the water molecules in the air around the two of you, and thick fluffy snowflakes start to fall.
You stare at them, completely dazed by the sudden snowfall. Kaeya simply chuckles at your amusement, wrapping both of his arms around your waist and planting his chin on your shoulder.
“Merry Christmas, baby,” he mumbles.

[Serennedy] All chained up
Based on that one scene in RE4make. You know the one. Ship: Leon X Luis Rated E | 3.6k words | ao3 link
Leon awoke with a start.
His heart was still pounding from his fight with the giant priest and subsequent nightmare of a cloaked figure.
Shoving the memories to the side, Leon focused on the problem at hand. He was in an unassuming, barren room, stripped of his weapons and supplies and chained to the ceiling with thick metal cuffs and a robust chain. For some reason, the murderous villagers had opted to merely imprison instead of slaughter him when they’d had the chance.
Leon grit his teeth and yanked on the chain. To his surprise, the chain gave, and a pained grunt sounded from behind him.
“Oye, stop it!” a man’s voice hissed. Leon peered over his shoulder, and…
Saw the idiot he’d found in the lakeside settlement chained right beside him. Great.
Using the slack from the chain, Leon turned to assess the situation. They were both handcuffed to the same chain, fastened to a pulley wheel in the ceiling. It looked sturdy, but if Leon pulled hard enough…
“I told you to stop that!” the stranger spat, stumbling forward from the momentum. “You move, I move—and I’m beat up enough as it is.”
Leon contemplated telling him he didn’t give a single fuck. He opted to glare instead.
“The quiet type, eh?” the man asked, then offered, “I’m Luis Serra.”
“I don’t care,” Leon said. “How do we get out of here?”
“Mierda, are all Yanquis this rude?” Luis sighed and shook his head.
“It’s called being efficient,” Leon shot back. He wrapped the chain around his hands and pulled again—to a yelp from Luis that he pretended not to hear—but the pulley’s fastenings didn’t budge.
“All work and no play, huh?” Luis grinned, which only proved that he was far from seriously injured. “Bet you’ve been in spots like this before.”
Leon resolutely ignored the small talk and looked around the room for anything useful.
“My guess is, you’re here looking for someone,” Luis kept going. God, did he ever shut up?
Unsurprisingly, there weren’t any bolt cutters or keys laying around, but Leon could see an axe on the wall—just out of reach, of course.
Luis hummed. “Maybe… a missing señorita?”
Dread shot through Leon and he whipped around, only to find the man smirking. Figures: the sleazeball was obviously more than some helpless civilian.
In one quick move, Leon pulled on the chain hard, making Luis curse and lose his footing, until he was helplessly dangling from the pulley, hands held high above his head. Leon stepped close, an intimidating presence to the man who had suddenly become a worthwhile interrogation target.
“Talk. Now,” Leon spat.
“Woah, hey,” Luis said, still grinning. “If you wanted to get to know me better, all you had to do was ask.”
Leon grit his teeth. “Tell me what you know about the girl.”
“Come now, amigo.” Luis smiled and cocked his head. “We are in this together, yes? Where is the trust?”
“And why the hell should I trust you?”
“Because torture or threats of torture is a sure way to receive false information.” Luis frowned. “Don’t they teach you that in America, officer?”
“That’s agent to you,” Leon said. He wasn’t bothered about the rest of the man’s concerns: throughout all of his years of training for the job, Leon had learned plenty of creative torture methods that would get people very willing to tell the truth.
“My mistake, then.” Luis smiled. “But, seeing as we’re in a stalemate of sorts, why don’t we make a deal?”
Leon glared. “In your dreams.”
“At least hear me out, yes?” Luis said. “My part of the deal is that I will answer your questions to the best of my abilities. In return, you help me with my problem.”
That… didn’t sound too bad, actually. Leon had never particularly enjoyed the violence that his new job entailed, and if he could get the information he needed out of Luis without actually hurting anyone…
Leon mentally shook himself. Focus, agent. He wasn’t that blue-eyed rookie from six years ago anymore. He’d had to kill and bury the Leon that always wanted to help people in need. Now, there was only the job, and in this line of work, easy solutions tended to come with a catch.
“What problem?” Leon asked.
Luis smirked, which didn’t bode well. “It is a, how do you say… private matter.”
Leon glared harder. “I’m not in the mood for your games—”
“Mierda, just look down,” Luis sighed.
Skeptically, Leon did—though first squeezing the chain harder so Luis wouldn’t try anything. His gaze traveled over the man’s tacky jacket and he stamped down on the inexplicable relief that he found no visible injuries or even tears in the fabric.
Similarly, Luis’ pants and shoes were dirty but seemed otherwise intact, and Leon was about to ask what the hell he was on about when he spotted it:
A very obvious bulge in the man’s already tight pants.
“Are you serious!?” Leon’s head snapped up only to yell in Luis’ face. “At a time like this!?”
“What?” Luis shrugged. “I have been surrounded by nothing but ugly villagers for days, and then a muscled bonito rescues me. Can you blame Luisito for getting excited?”
Leon’s face was flaring red—from rage, probably—and he very nearly physically recoiled. “You're disgusting.”
That infuriating smirk was back. “Yet you need me, hm?”
Leon’s jaw clenched in annoyance. Luis was right: Leon sorely needed his cooperation, both for information about Baby Eagle’s situation and to stand a chance of taking out the guards that would inevitably come back for them.
“A simple trade,” Luis said. “I answer all of your questions, and you give me a hand with my… not-so-little problem.”
It seemed like a fair trade. Leon wasn’t an idiot: he knew firsthand how effective seduction could be as a means to get something you wanted out of an unsuspecting target. How it made people willing not only to do what you asked, but to go that extra mile, to give everything just to impress you—
Leon mentally shook himself, away from the memories of a red dress and flirty little smile. He’d never thought he’d be on the other end of that bargain, using his looks or nonexistent charm to seduce his target into cooperating.
But, well, this time the work was mostly done for him. Luis was obviously attracted to him even if Leon had done nothing but manhandle and yell at him. And Luis himself wasn’t exactly hard on the eyes, as long as he’d shut up…
“You know, as sexy as your brooding face is, we don’t actually have all day,” Luis said.
This time, the annoyance Leon felt was accompanied by a spike of lust. He allowed himself to admit that Luis was handsome—if extremely annoying—and that if they’d met in different circumstances, Leon might have been curious to see what lay behind those warm brown eyes and infuriating smirk.
And now he could.
“Alright,” Leon said.
Luis actually startled at that, jolting in his restraints. “What?”
“I said alright,” Leon repeated. “You answer my questions, I’ll get you off. Or, well, try to, anyway.” He nodded to his still-cuffed hands.
The manic grin that spread over Luis’ face almost made Leon regret his decision.
“Oh, trust me, amigo, that will not be a problem,” Luis lowered his voice, looking at Leon with half-lidded eyes. “Just being chained to you nearly has me bursting in my pants.”
“Well.” Leon cleared his throat and averted his eyes. “That’s the deal. Take it or leave it.”
“Then I accept,” Luis said, then smiled and rattled his handcuffs. “I’d shake your hand, but…”
“No need,” Leon said.
He tightened the grip he had on the chains and pulled, yanking Luis just that much higher, making him wince and stumble to balance on his toes—though tellingly, he didn’t protest the rough treatment.
“Now tell me what you know about the girl,” Leon ordered.
“Well, see, before I was shoved into the bag you found me in…” Luis said. “I heard chatter about moving a señorita.”
“Moving her,” Leon repeated. This sounded promising. “Where?”
“Who knows?” Luis did his best attempt at a shrug with his hands above his head. Leon glared and grabbed the chain— “But!” Luis continued. “Later, I saw some men dragging someone… to the old church.”
A church; Leon could work with that. A town this small probably only had one church. It was a decent lead.
“See? That wasn’t so hard, was it,” Leon said. Feeling bold, he stepped closer, until his thigh was barely brushing against Luis’ crotch. “Anything else you wanna tell me?”
“No, that’s all I know about the señorita, I swear,” Luis said, feebly trying to grind against Leon’s leg, though it was impossible without leverage. “God, Yanqui…”
“Leon,” he said, voice hoarse. He cleared his throat and stepped back. “My name is Leon.”
“Leon, please,” Luis begged, and why was hearing his name from this man so arousing? “Touch me.”
Leon steeled himself even as his hands twitched, wanting to comply. “Tell me what you’re doing here first.”
“I’m—I’m a police officer,” Luis panted. “Sent from Madrid to investigate the disappearance of people around the village.”
“You? A cop?” Leon snorted. “Try again.”
“No, please, I’m telling the truth,” Luis whined. He was clearly starting to get desperate. “Me and my partner were undercover to infiltrate the village. But the people here, well… if you don’t have red eyes and a pitchfork and try to kill everyone in sight, it’s difficult to fit in.”
Leon hummed. That seemed pretty plausible, as his police escorts from earlier had talked about people disappearing. Maybe another policeman going AWOL had made the whole precinct reluctant to visit the village.
“Now, please, I answered your question…” Luis said.
Leon let go of the chain to lower Luis back onto his feet and earned a grateful sigh. He stepped close and reached out his joined hands to awkwardly palm over Luis' pants.
“Yes—God, Leon, yes,” Luis moaned.
Leon felt his cheeks heating up as he rubbed the rough leather over the hard shaft underneath. Jesus, this was really doing it for Luis, huh? Leon’s own dick twitched in sympathy, trapped in his combat pants, but he ignored it in favor of clumsily unbuttoning Luis’ pants and pulling his dick out.
Leon swallowed and felt sweat trickle down his neck from the rising temperature of the room. Luis was thick and uncut, the head of his dick almost purple with how hard he was.
"Oh, god, Leon…" Luis said when Leon experimentally stroked up and then down.
Leon couldn't take his eyes off the sight of Luis' dick sliding in his hand. Coarse black hair surrounded the base and trailed up under Luis' jacket and Leon imagined how it would feel brushing against his nose, if his mouth was full of Luis and—
Leon cleared his throat and focused on stroking with his limited movements. “This good?”
“So good, querido, so good,” Luis praised. “Don’t stop.”
“I won’t if you keep talking,” Leon said, remembering what he was supposed to be doing. “How did you get captured? What happened to your partner?”
“Ah, mierda. We split up when we arrived; he started with the castle and I started with the village—oh, just like that.” Luis sighed in pleasure as Leon worked the foreskin over his shaft.
Luis’ legs were trembling but he seemed to be doing his best to answer. Something in Leon felt oddly pleased.
"And?" Leon prompted.
“And in the village, I barely managed to ask for directions before the locos were throwing axes at my head," Luis huffed.
"Hmm," Leon commented. He rewarded Luis with a twist of his palm over the head of his cock, already leaking copiously.
Luis gasped and his hips jerked up into Leon's hands. “Please, Leon—”
“In a minute,” Leon said. “How did they catch you?”
"Well, obviously, I ran,” Luis said. “But our car was at the castle on the other side of the lake, and I hid in the forest for days before they finally caught me and brought me to the place you thankfully found me at.”
Shit, it really sounded like Luis was just another victim in this whole clusterfuck of a mission. Not only was he proving helpful with information, but he’d probably be a good person to have by his side fighting out of here, too.
“Any further questions, amigo?” Luis smiled. “Or can we get on with it?”
Leon bit back a smile and rewarded Luis with a firm stroke of his hand that had the man gasping. Because despite the grating humor, Luis was a good man, was cooperating and giving himself to Leon so sweetly—
“Oh,” Luis said, his downright lecherous grin pulling Leon from his thoughts. “Looks like I’m not the only one excited about the situation.”
Luis’ eyes were glued to Leon’s crotch and he swallowed the humiliation of getting caught: he’d been hard for a good while, now.
“I’m not…” Leon tried. He wasn’t even sure what he was going to say. Aroused? Attracted to men? Both were clearly not true.
“Oh, loosen up, amigo,” Luis scoffed. He lifted one of his legs, bending it at the knee. “Here. Grind against me.”
Leon flushed at the shameless display. He knew that he should argue, that his own pleasure wasn’t part of the deal, and that rutting up against a stranger wasn’t something he was eager to file into a mission report.
On the other hand, it wasn’t hurting anybody. Whether he liked it or not, Leon was stuck here, at least until a guard came back and he could steal a key or something. Nobody would know except him and Luis.
“Please,” Luis begged, desperation in his eyes. “I know you will feel so good. I’ll tell you anything you want to know, just please, Leon…”
And looking at Luis straining against his handcuffs, with his cock jutting out hard and leaking, the suave mask slipping with how much he was aching for it, Leon stopped resisting.
“Okay,” Leon said. “Okay, just hold on—”
Leon lowered Luis back down on his feet and hurried to unzip his own, too-tight pants. He breathed a sigh of relief as he pulled his erection free from its confines.
“Mierda, yes,” Luis moaned. “You look so good. Give it to me.”
With trembling legs, Leon stepped close, slotting his hips against Luis’ and making both of them groan when their dicks slid over each other.
“Yes, just like that,” Luis breathed, his eyes slipping shut.
Leon thrust against Luis, once then twice, and though it felt good, felt warm and hot and so very good against his throbbing dick… The position was awkward as they just stood there, hands uselessly chained together and Luis nearly stumbling with each of Leon’s thrusts, drastically reducing the much-needed friction between them.
And Leon couldn’t have that.
“Here.” Leon grunted with exertion as he pulled the chain taut above them and lifted Luis back into the air. “Wrap your legs around me, and—”
“Oh,” Luis breathed. He immediately hoisted himself up, surprisingly muscular legs squeezing around Leon’s hips and then dropping down, sliding his cock over Leon’s.
Leon bit his lip to stifle a groan; that had no business feeling as good as it did.
Luis, however, had no such inhibitions. He moaned long and loud and arched into it, shamelessly grinding his cock against Leon’s.
“Oh, this position was a wonderful idea,” Luis panted. “I take back everything I said about American stupidity.”
“You didn’t say anything about American stupidity.”
Luis grinned down at him, wild and completely unashamed. “It was implied.”
Leon huffed out something he would forever deny was a laugh and thrust up against Luis, feeling no small amount of satisfaction from the broken moan he earned for his efforts.
They quickly built up a rhythm; Luis raised and lowered himself against Leon’s crotch and Leon thrust up to grind against him on the downstroke. Each time, Leon’s cock rubbed against the silky hardness of Luis’ shaft and the roughness of his pants, pre-come wet and slippery between them as they chased their pleasure.
The room reeked of sweat and musk; Leon knew he didn’t exactly smell like roses on the second day of a mission and Luis had been stuck here for God knows how long. But after the stink of rot and death covering the whole village, the musky smell of their arousal might as well have been an expensive cologne from the way it made Leon’s cock harden and only encouraged him to thrust harder, faster, more.
“Fuck,” Leon cursed. “Fuck, Luis, you’re so…”
“I could say the same,” Luis grinned even as sweat pooled on his brow from exertion. “God, Leon, you feel so good—ah!”
Luis threw his head back in ecstasy, his mouth open in another moan as he rode Leon for all he was worth. And Leon watched: shamelessly stared at Luis’ face scrunched up in pleasure and the long line of his exposed throat working as he swallowed between the filthy noises escaping his mouth, all the while he worked his body against Leon’s.
“Shit,” Leon panted, the arousal building hard and fast. “I’m close.”
“Me too,” Luis said, picking up his pace, grinding against Leon’s dick. “Don’t stop, Leon, please don’t stop, I’m—”
Luis gasped and abruptly leaned in, kissing Leon hot and open-mouthed and groaning his release.
And Leon didn't do anything to stop him. He only moaned into Luis’ mouth and thrust up against Luis’ dick wetly spasming between them, working the other man through his orgasm.
Soon, Luis relaxed against him, pulling away from the sloppy kiss to murmur against Leon’s mouth. “Mm, that was nice.”
“Luis…” Leon’s whole body was trembling; he was so close.
“Oh, cariño.” Luis leaned his forehead against Leon’s, the endearment shooting straight to Leon’s cock. “Take what you need. Make yourself feel good.”
Luis kissed him properly, then, lips and tongue sliding against Leon’s and his stubble rasping against Leon’s chin. One of his hands came down to cradle Leon’s head, holding him in place.
Leon moaned, no longer caring how loud he was, thrusting up again and again, against Luis’ now softening dick and into the sticky mess between them.
Luis whined from oversensitivity, his hand tightening in Leon’s hair and pulling, and…
Leon came with a groan, pumping his release all over Luis’ spent dick and his stupid jacket.
Luis was still kissing him, humming in satisfaction as Leon came and came and came. The hand in Leon’s hair loosened its hold and—
Wait. The hand? The hand that was supposed to be cuffed overhead by the pulley wheel?
Luis’ legs left Leon’s sides and just as Leon pulled away from the kiss in confusion, the chain he’d been holding all this time went slack and he promptly fell backwards on his ass.
“What the hell!?” Leon demanded, struggling to right himself and fixing Luis with a demanding stare.
Luis, who was back on his feet, inexplicably free from his restraints and already buttoning his pants.
“Oops?” Luis grinned, not seeming the least bit apologetic. Something familiar and metallic glinted in his hand… A lockpick?
“Give me that!” Leon attempted to surge up for the item, but stumbled over the chain. Mortified, he realized that his dick was still out and hurried to put himself back into his pants.
“Don’t hurt yourself,” Luis said, stepping back out of the chain’s reach. “Wouldn’t want you to injure such a pretty face.”
Realization crashed over Leon. “You’re not a police officer, are you?”
Luis grinned and twirled the lockpick between his fingers. “And here I thought you enjoyed our little roleplay.”
“So, what? You’re with them?” Leon sneered.
“Oh, please,” Luis scoffed. “I work solo. I have my own mission here, and now I know you aren't a threat to it.”
“What the hell are you talking about?” Leon said.
“You are Leon, an American agent; a highly esteemed special agent, I would guess, as you don’t have a team with you,” Luis said. “Your mission is to rescue the president's daughter who was kidnapped by the cultists. You were most likely hired by the American government or maybe even the president himself.”
Leon stared at the man before him who easily rattled off the details of Leon’s top secret mission. Gone were Luis’ easy smiles and the flirtation from before, replaced with a cold, analytical aura that Leon could scarcely recognize as the same man.
Then, it hit him. Luis had been able to get free from his chains this entire time. To get information out of Leon, Luis had chosen to let him believe that he was helpless, that Leon had full control over the situation. And just like that rookie six years ago, Leon had played right into his hands.
Luis tossed the lockpick on the floor, in full reach of Leon.
“Good luck, amigo,” Luis said. He wiped at a white stripe of spend on his jacket and then winked at Leon. “Thank you for the souvenir.”
Luis proceeded to saunter out of the door and Leon was left kneeling there, staring after Luis and feeling exactly like an idiot who had just been beaten at his own game.
He scrambled for the lockpick and set to removing his cuffs. Double-crossed or not, he still had a mission to complete.

They had found the key in a small cave at the boathouse, but it was stuck behind some sort of weird contraption that required two objects being placed into the palms of large stone hands.
Ella had to hold back a groan, wondering why she had ever thought it would be easy.
This began the long search around the lake, and eventually ended up at the lakeside settlement, which they both realized was the place they had been where Leon was taken.
“Is the thing we need even going to be here?” She questioned, not remembering anything of interest, though to be fair they had been quite distracted at the time.
“Yeah, there’s a door that I didn’t have the key to before. What we need might be in there.” Leon answered, and Ella didn’t remember seeing a door. It must have been on his part of what they searched, and by the time Ella had gone after him, she was preoccupied with the worry of the man in the hat getting Leon.
Following him to the door, they walked deeper into the cavern, and as they did, a sense of familiarity grew in Ella, though she couldn’t place it.
That was until they came to a metal door, her heart dropping as she froze, knowing exactly what was beyond it.
Leon had just been about to open the door when he realized Ella had stopped, turning to look at her.
“Ella? What’s wrong?” He asked, his concern growing at the sight of her terrified expression, noticing she was trembling slightly.
“I know what this is. . .” Her voice was shaky and small, and without thinking she took a step back.
She couldn’t believe it had been right here. . .that Alice was-
“Hey, talk to me. What is it?” Leon tried to snap her out of it, but it was no use. He looked into the room, his blue eyes scanning what he could see, and that’s when he saw the dead body that was suspended by a rope, surrounded by candles.
It didn’t take him long to realize that it was one of her friends, mentally cursing at the realization.
“Go outside. I’ll check the area to make sure the piece we need isn’t here.” Leon told her, his voice gentle and sympathetic, surprising Ella enough to somewhat bring her out of it. She nodded, beginning to take a step back, but the image of Alice’s dead body on that stone altar stopped her.
All Ella could think about was the fact that Alice was up there, tied up and discarded like she was nothing.
Ella couldn’t leave her up there. . .she couldn’t let her body rot on that altar, still bound with that symbol painted on her face like she was nothing more than a sacrifice for the cult’s inhuman religion.
Before Ella could think about it anymore, she steeled herself, moving forward and practically pushing past Leon and through the door.
“Hey, what are you doing?” He called, but she didn’t stop. She went to Sam, kneeling in front of her. She wasn’t very close to her, or Connor who was in the opposite corner, them being more Alice’s friends than hers, but that didn’t change anything. They hadn’t deserved this. None of them had.
Using her knife, she cut off a piece off her flannel shirt, before pouring water on it, and using it as a cloth as she wiped the symbol off her face. The smell somehow didn’t bother her, as Ella was too focused to care. After, she moved to Sam, and did the same thing, before looking at the ladder.
It lead to the altar. Ella didn’t know if she could keep the memories at bay if she climbed that ladder, but she did know one thing.
Alice deserved better than to be left up there.
After taking a second to prepare herself, she moved to the ladder, and started climbing. Leon cursed behind her, following. Getting to the small area, Ella’s eyes immediately found her, her heart twisting painfully in her chest as tears filled her eyes. She refused to let the feelings overwhelm her and get in the way of what she needed to do.
Making her way around the stone altar, she took in the permanently frozen and terrified look on Alice’s face, feeling a large weight settle within her, and she slowly walked forward, leaning down and raising a shaky hand to begin wiping the marking off her face. Once it was gone, Ella found she couldn’t move away, looking at Alice and brushing her hair out of her face.
Just as she had suspected, the memories were forced to the forefront of her mind, and Ella could do nothing to stop it.
“I-I’m sorry. . .I’m so sorry.” She sobbed out, her lower lip trembling as the tears spilled down her cheeks. It had been her job to make sure their hiking trip was as safe as possible. She was the one who knew all the survivalist techniques. She was the one who had been the best at self-defense. She was the one who was cautious at every step and watched out for the others so they could have all the fun they wanted.
And yet they still had been caught by surprise, and as much as Ella fought against their attackers, it had been for nothing.
In the end, all she could do was run away after Alice had been sacrificed in the name of the cult's religion. Ella survived when everyone else died. When the person she considered her sister was murdered in cold blood.
She bowed her head as sobs racked her body, Ella unable to stop herself. This wasn’t like before, where she was restrained and silent. No. She wasn’t quiet, and she didn’t hold back, allowing herself to grieve what she had lost, if only for a little bit.
After a while, she felt a hand on her shoulder, and Ella came back to herself, raising her head. She forced herself to reign everything in, looking to Alice once more.
“We can’t leave her like this.” She murmured, refusing to leave her on this stone altar. Maybe she couldn’t close her eyes or change the horrible expression on her face, but she could move her.
“Ella-” Leon began to protest, but she didn’t let him finish, shrugging his hand off and moving around, cutting the rope that bound Alice’s wrists. With that she took Alice under the arms and pulled her off the slab. Her body wasn’t as stiff as Ella had thought it would be- really, as stiff as it should be- but she refused to acknowledge the implications of that, bringing her to the edge of the wooden fence before Ella climbed over.
It was the exact part of the fence she had escaped from, but Ella didn’t think about that now. She pulled Alice’s body through the opening, before dragging her over to a tree deeper into the woods. She set her up against the wooden trunk, knowing that was all she could do for her.
It wasn’t much, but it was far better than before.
Alice had loved nature. She had loved trees and plants and flowers. This was the best place she could put her in this situation. With that, Ella wiped her eyes, before heading back to the altar area, vaulting back over the fence. Leon watched her, but didn’t say anything as she passed by him.
“I don’t think the thing we need is here.” She spoke in a hardened voice, her expression unreadable as she moved to the opening, jumping down into the small space.
Leon looked in the direction she had taken the body, letting out a quiet sigh through his nose, before he followed after her.
xXx They finally found everything they had needed, having to go to caves and other small villages. It had been a wild goose chase, and they had run into many villagers, but they handled them.
“They” might not be the proper word, however, as it was mostly Ella.
She had a fury in her that hadn’t been there before, and while it helped in getting through their enemies quicker, it was more reckless, which concerned Leonwho had thought she had already been pretty reckless beforehand.
When she noticed his concerned look after she had run straight into a villager and tackled them to the ground she just shrugged.
“What? I’m making up for lost time.” She told him simply as she pulled the knife out of the villager’s head.
Leon knew commenting on it would start an argument, and he didn’t want that, so he let it go for the time being, focusing on getting back to the cave with the key to the church.
xXx
As they made their way back after retrieving the key, they had just gotten to the large cavern in the mountain from before when something caught Ella’s eyes.
Leon continued ahead, not realizing Ella had stopped, and she turned, her brows furrowing. It was a glint in the distance, something gold-
Ella gasped as her gun was hit from her hand, turning to see none other than the man who had killed Alice, having no time to react as he suddenly grabbed her by the throat, lifting her off the ground.
Ella was quickly getting tired of being grabbed this way, kicking and struggling as much as she could, but it was no use, the man pulling her closer and staring into her eyes.
Ella didn’t understand what he was doing, but she got an idea when he spoke up, his eerily familiar voice causing Ella’s heart to drop into her stomach.
“You will make a fine servant.” His deep scratchy and unpleasant voice sounded, panic flowing through her as she wondered if this man was going to infect her.
Ella struggled violently in his grasp, clawing at the hand around her throat as he seemed to move his free one, and Ella could only assume he was reaching for something in his robe.
Before he could get whatever it was, however, three gun shots sounded around them, hitting him in the chest.
He dropped Ella, who fell to the ground in a coughing fit, but before Leon could do anything else, a bright light flashed, making him cover his eyes.
When it subsided, the man was gone, and he let out a curse, holstering his gun and moving over to Ella.
“You okay?!” He knelt down beside her, his eyes searching for any visible injuries.
“What does he want from me?! Hasn’t he done enough!?” Ella growled instead of answering, slamming her fist against the ground.
She wondered why he wouldn’t just kill her? Why did he want to turn her into one of those things? He hadn’t done it to Alice or the others, so why her?!
Rage had replaced all the sorrow Ella had been feeling before. If it wasn’t for her anger, she didn’t think she’d make it through this long enough to help Ashley, so she held onto it tightly.
“Hey, look at me.” Leon ordered in a firm voice, Ella being brought from her thoughts as she did as he said.
“Whatever he wants, he won’t get it. We’ll stop him, and all of these other religious freaks, from hurting anyone ever again. Alright?” He told her, before holding his hand out. She grit her teeth, before taking his hand and letting him help her up. Unlike before, there were no tears in her eyes. She wasn’t trembling with fear.
No, she was angry. She was vengeful. She was determined.
She would help Leon take down this cult, or die trying. xXx
This time when they went into the cavern, the familiar purple glow of the Merchants torch greeted them, and Ella let out a breath of relief, as she was running low on ammo.
“Hello strangers!” He greeted, and Ella had been prepared to return it, but when they rounded the corner, the words caught in her throat and her eyes widened.
There was an array of supplies around them, a pile of ammo, and even a rack full of weapons.
“So, you’ve been busy.” She found herself saying, The Merchant rewarding her with a full bellied laugh.
“I suppose you could say that. Now come, I’ve got new wares to sell ya.” That much was clear.
The two walked up to his table, selling all the treasure and jewels they found first, before focusing on stocking up on what they needed next.
Then, they looked at what weapons he had. Leon ended up buying a magnum, but Ella didn’t know what she should grab.
“Indecisive eh? Well don’t you worry, I have just the thing for you.” He reached beside him, before putting what looked to be a shotgun down on the table in front of her. It had a strap so she could carry it on her back easily, which was convenient.
“How much?” She asked as she examined the weapon, liking the way it looked. She could easily hold it in her two hands, the gun not appearing to be too big or hefty.
“For you? I’ll give you a discounted price. 34,000 pesetas.” Okay, that wasn’t bad.
“If you keep giving me discounted or free items, I might have to question your salesmanship tactics.” She joked with a grin, and the Merchant got a kick out of that, throwing his head back in laughter.
“What can I say? I’m rooting for you, stranger.” He told her, and she chuckled. Handing over the money, she grabbed the weapon, testing how it felt in her hands.
“Come on.” Leon spoke up, and she turned to him. “You’re going to have to learn how to use that.” Ah, another lesson. How kind of him.
xXx
The Merchant had given them a couple of bottles to shoot, and Leon took her back out to the cliff before setting them down in front of her.
They took less than ten minutes, Leon teaching her how to properly hold it and how to handle the recoil.
He explained that she didn’t have to be completely accurate, as shotguns tended to have wide spreads, and that she would need to be careful when firing that there wasn’t anything in her line of sight she didn’t want to hit.
She absorbed it pretty quickly, some of the information she already knew. When she shot the gun, the recoil wasn’t as bad as she thought, and she realized why The Merchant had said this gun was just what she needed.
Not having any more time to waste, she put the gun around her shoulders and let it rest at her back, before she and Leon continued their way to the church. Ella thanked the Merchant one more time on their way by, before they were off.
xXx
Ella had known that stupid comment about the giant hammer would come back to bite them in the ass.
Some asshole in a red robe and a skull mask chanted words in Spanish and waved a flame around, and now they were fighting the most terrifying and ugly thing Ella had ever laid eyes on.
She had been afraid for about two minutes before determination and anger replaced it, and soon she was helping Leon take the thing down, getting to test out her new gun in the process. She would take shelter in some of the huts when she had to, but she couldn't stay in them for long, even if she was very tempted to.
Fear had threatened to slow her down many times, but watching Leon not hesitate to charge ahead, his expression not showing an ounce of fear, made determination flow through her. She knew that it was impossible for Leon to not be afraid, but the fact that he didn’t ever let it slow him down was both impressive and admirable, and Ella was refused to be a liability for him.
Ella reloaded her shotgun, before she found a better position to land a shot, hesitation gone from her movements as she opened fire on the creature.
It had been when a parasite popped out of the things back that realization filled Ella. The thing infecting the villagers and animals was a parasite. The notes they had found along the way made sense now. The good news was they didn’t necessarily need a cure. They just needed to kill the parasite. It wasn’t so simple though, and Ella knew that, but there was a little more hope for Leon and Ashley. Ella had been snapped from her thoughts when a howl permeated the air, and she turned, seeing the wolf she and Leon freed jumping down from the rocks.
“Hey, long time no see buddy!” She called. She stayed close to the wolf, wanting to make sure he didn’t get himself hurt. However, she needn’t worry, as he was clearly able to handle himself, making the giant creature run into the wall and cause an avalanche of rocks to fall on it..
It had been just what they needed for Leon to leap onto the things back and get direct hits to the parasite, killing it. Ella let out a breath, checking her ammo and reloading her weapon before setting it back onto her back.
“Okay, let’s head to the church.” Leon sighed, ready to get to Ashley. Ella saw the wolf lying up on the rock, taking a well deserved rest, and both her and Leon thanked him, before they finally headed to their destination.
xXx
“Hey, how come you can leap onto a creature's back, but when I do it, it’s a problem?” Ella pointed out as they walked, Leon audibly sighing.
“I’m a trained agent. You’re not.” He responded simply, and Ella rolled her eyes.
“Okay, but I’m a fully grown adult who can make my own decisions, and put my life in danger if I want, so I don’t see the point here.” She was jokingly being argumentative, filling the silence before they got to the church. Leon only responded with an annoyed look, to which she laughed, sparing him as they finally came across the building they had been seeking out from the beginning.
“Alright, let’s do this.” Ella breathed, preparing herself for whatever awaited them inside.
xXx
As they walked inside the church, Ella was relieved to not be greeted by a horde of villagers, having been preparing herself for them since heading back to the building.
“Ashley Graham! I’m here to help!” Leon called, but there was no response.
Ella began looking around, seeing that there were two stories to the church, but not finding any stairs. There was a locked gate to the left, and Ella had to assume that would lead to the way they needed to go if they wanted to get to the second floor.
They tried to find a key of some sort, and Ella found her way to the front of the chapel, taking notice of a lever and thinking that was as good a clue as any as she pulled it.
The podium behind her started moving, and she turned to see that some sort of puzzle had been revealed.
There were green and red tiles with that stupid symbol on it, and a third slot that was empty. Before Ella could wonder what could go there, a voice sounded from behind her.
“Hey, need this?” Leon was holding a blue tile that Ella guessed would fit perfectly into the empty slot, Ella feeling relieved that she didn’t have to go searching for it herself.
“Read my mind.” She smiled, catching it when Leon tossed it to her.
She put the tile where it was meant to go, and sure enough it fit perfectly. Experimentally, she turned the blue one, watching as the big stained-glass light up front moved.
“Whoa. I thought that looked weird.” She guessed it was another orientation puzzle, taking the reins as she tried to solve it.
Unfortunately, it seemed it was her turn to be stumped on a puzzle, because she couldn’t figure it out no matter how many times she turned the dials.
“Here, let me.” She moved out of the way, letting Leon give it a try. It took him a minute, but he got it oriented correctly, the gated door to their left opening.
“Wow, we really balance each other out, don’t we?” She chuckled, grinning at him, and Leon didn’t offer an argument, which she took as him agreeing.
Moving over to the left, they found a ladder leading up to the second floor, Ella letting Leon go first before following him up.
There was only one door to this floor, and Ella and Leon shared a look, Ella giving him a nod as she stood off to the side, gripping the gun in her holster, just in case this was some sort of trap.
“Ashely?” Leon called as he cautiously opened the door, gun drawn. “Ashley Graham are you in here?” Ella was close behind him, there being no response making her nervous at first.
However, there was a response. Just one they weren’t expecting.
Suddenly, a large metal candle stick was being swung at Leon, who quickly dodged to the side.
Ella looked to the attacker, seeing that it was Ashley as the girl pulled the makeshift weapon closer, holding it up in a threatening manner and looking between the two of them.
“Just let me go.” She was scared, expectedly so.
“Listen-” Leon tried, but she took another swing before he could continue, Leon easily catching it. “Easy with that!” He told her harshly, before throwing it to the side.
Ella grimaced, as that definitely wasn’t going to help his case.
He took a cautious step forward, raising a hand to show he meant no harm.
Unfortunately for him, he could be a little intimidating. Ella would know considering she first met him with a gun aimed at her face.
“My name is Leon. I’m here on the President’s orders, and-” Ashley quickly stepped to the side, and Ella moved out of the way as the blonde girl ran out of the room in a hurry.
“That went well.” Leon sighed, and Ella looked at him with her brows raised.
“Well, you could try being a little gentler next time.” Ella suggested with a shrug, earning a light glare.
“I didn’t see you trying to help.” He pointed out as he moved to follow Ashley. Ella wasn’t worried. She had gone to the left out the door, which was a dead end.
“I don’t think anything could have helped that train wreck.” She teased, holding back a grin as she followed him out.
Ashley had stopped at the window, as she must have realized she had cornered herself. Or she was looking out the window and enjoying the scenery. Ella wasn’t sure.
“Hey, it’s dangerous outside.” Even with his annoyance, he seemed to follow Ella’s advice, his voice the tiniest bit gentler. However, Ashley was focused on something outside, it almost seeming like she didn’t hear him. “You need to listen to me-” Ella had been about to cut in, as where he was going with that would get him nowhere, but Ashley beat her to it.
“What is that? Over there?” Ella moved to the other window, looking out and seeing the very horde of villagers she had feared would be inside the church coming towards the building.
Ella had started thinking up an escape plan when both Leon and Ashley grabbed their heads with a grimace, seeming like they were in pain.
“Hey, you guys okay? What’s going on?” She moved over to them, but neither had heard her.
Ella quickly realized it must be some effect of the parasite, and they were both feeling it. At the same time. In the same way. Which couldn’t be a coincidence. She knew that Saddler could control the parasites, so maybe he was doing something to them? Which would be really, really, bad.
Fortunately, before Ella could begin to freak out, they seemed to snap out of it, looking at each other, and then her.
“Hey, don’t look at me. I didn’t hear or see or feel whatever you guys did.” She raised her hands up, before gesturing out the window. “But now that you guys aren’t experiencing some kind of mind link, we should probably get going, because they’re at the gate.” They looked out the window, and sure enough, they were pushing open the metal doors.
Ashley took in a shaky breath, pressing her back against the stone as she looked at Leon.
“What do we do?” Ella felt sympathetic for the poor girl. She couldn’t be older than 20 years old, and was visibly terrified. At least Ella had some previous self-defense skills and gun knowledge, but what did Ashley have?
“Your father trusts me.” Ella was brought from her thoughts as she looked to Leon, who was giving Ashley a determined look. “And I need you to trust me too and do exactly as I say.” There was nothing like a horde of parasite infected villagers coming to murder them to get Ashley to listen as she nodded her head.
“Okay. Okay Leon.” Ashley then looked at her expectantly, clearly wanting to know what she was doing there and if she could trust her.
“Oh hey, I’m Ella, your father did not send me, but I am here to help.” Ella did a quick introduction, giving Ashley a mock salute to add a little light to the situation. The tiniest smile pulled at her lips as she nodded, which was about as much as Ella was going to get considering.
As if right on cue, the door to the church slammed open, and the three of them moved to the railing to watch as the villagers began to pour in.
“Okay, I think there’s another ladder to the left.” Ella told them as she moved that way, and Leon nodded, before both he and Ashley followed.
The ladder was closed and out of reach, but the wall behind it was jagged, offering an easy and quick solution. Ella took a running start, before using one of the misplaced rocks as a stepping stone to jump up, grabbing a hold of the last rung on the ladder and using her weight to pull it down. The metal slammed against the ground, the path now open for them to go.
“You first.” Ella turned to Ashley, who had been watching her with slightly wide eyes. Snapping out of it, the young girl nodded and quickly moved to start climbing up. Ella looked to Leon, about to tell him to go next, but the look in his eyes spoke first, and she sighed. “Alright, ladies first I guess.” She murmured and followed behind Ashley, entering an attic as she got to the top of the ladder. Leon was close behind, and they all looked around for anything useful.
“What do we do? There’s no way out.” The rising fear was apparent in Ashley’s voice, but Ella begged to differ, her eyes landing on a window.
“Well. . .that’s not exactly true.” She grimaced, not exactly excited about it herself, but she knew didn’t have a choice. Leon had already been on it, making his way to the window and opening it before stepping out to look at how high it was. He must have deemed it doable, because in the next moment, he jumped out. Ashley looked to Ella in shock, the latter giving her an apologetic look as she knew this wasn’t about to be pleasant for the young girl. Ashley let out breath as she moved to the window, looking down at Leon and taking in how high up they were.
“No way!” She shook her head.
“It’s okay, I’ve got you.” Leon assured her in that gruff tone of his, and Ella moved behind her, gently laying a hand on her shoulder.
“Hey, don’t worry. I promise you’ll be fine.” She spoke comfortingly. “I’ll be right behind you.” Ashley considered her words for a few moments, before relenting with a nod. Making her way to the window, she cautiously and shakily sat on the ledge of the window, throwing her legs over to the other side and looking down.
“Hey, trust me.” Leon held his hands out, showing he was prepared to catch her.
Given all the encouragement she needed, Ashley slowly scooted to the very edge, before taking the leap of faith and falling down.
Ella moved to the edge, looking to make sure she was alright, but of course Leon had caught her, and Ella let out a breath. She never doubted him for a second.
Leon set Ashley down, before looking up at Ella expectantly. Ella quickly realized he planned to catch her as well, and while she appreciated him, it was unnecessary.
“Yeah right. Move over Prince Charming. I’ve got this.” She laughed lightly, and Leon raised his hands as he moved away, giving her the space she needed. Ella climbed over the edge and knelt down, before pushing off. She knew to bend her knees, and her combat boots thudded against the stone as she stuck the landing.
Well, mostly.
She stumbled just a bit, and she would have caught herself, but Leon was there in a second to steady her, his hands taking her elbows firmly.
Ella looked up at him, seeing the “oh really?” look in his expression, and she rolled her eyes.
“I would have caught myself.” She told him matter of factly, but she was never one to let help go unappreciated. “But thank you. Now let’s go.” That didn’t mean she would let him be all smug about it though.
Leon dropped down off the edge of the stone platform they were on despite there being an easier way down, because he still had his no going down ladders policy apparently, and it was then he decided was a good time to do a check in.
Ella shook her head at him, before looking at Ashley.
“After you.” She gave her a kind smile, the blonde returning it before making her way to the ladder.
Ella had learned quickly not to speak up when Leon was doing a status report, but when Ashley almost slipped off the wet ladder, Ella couldn’t help her knee jerk reaction.
“Hey, you okay?” She called to the girl as she knelt over the ledge, her worry subsiding when Ashley nodded.
“Yeah, I’m okay. Just almost slipped.” She assured, and Ella watched as Ashley made it all the way down the ladder, making sure she was securely on the ground, before Ella made her way down herself.
“Yes, I know what my main objective is. You don’t have to remind me.” Ella’s ears perked up as she noticed the annoyed tone of voice Leon used, turning to look at him to see that he was pinching the bridge of his nose. “She was alone and needed help, what-” He was cut off, Ella watching as his hand clenched into a fist. ”I know.” His voice was firm, showing his rising agitation. “I won’t get distracted.” Leon walked a bit away as Ashley and Ella shared a look.
Ella moved to get closer, hearing him do his usual outro before he let out a deep sigh.
“Leon?” She called cautiously, now worried she had caused him more trouble than she already had, and now with his job. He turned, realizing she must have heard what he said and put together what happened.
“Don’t worry about it. Let’s get moving.” He told her, but Ella knew she wouldn’t be able to not worry about what she had overheard.
However, now wasn’t the time, as they still had to deal with the horde of villagers on the other side of the church.
Ella let it go, for now.

“Maternal” | Pesanta drabble (RE4)
Tumblr media
____________________________________________________
Summary:
A moment of solace between the Black Robe and a lost village boy.
Notes:
Fandom: Resident Evil 4 (remake) Setting: Lakeside Settlement (location) Pairing: N/A Theme: Hurt/Comfort/Fluff Prompt: Comfort Attire: The usual robe
Inspiration: Just wanted to write something special for everyone's favorite bb gorl; Pesanta genuinely deserves more love~
Rating: sfw
____________________________________________________
Pesanta studied the young boy's startled expression, his clear, doll like silver eyes meeting her amber gaze. Her appearance clearly frightened the child, but he hadn't ran. Maybe if she hadn't been gifted with such a vicious countenance, then he wouldn't be peering at her in such a way. Such trivial things as physical appearance were no longer a matter of her concern.
The child though...
Catching a hint of rising panic in his eyes when she tried to further approach him, she opted to change course, instead lowering herself to one knee. It was fairly obvious that her mere presence alarmed the boy, but he seemed -to some degree- at least a little less distressed now that she was closer to eye level with him. She sighed, a soft rumbling sound leaving her as she did so. He couldn't be more than six or seven years old. To think that a single child had survived so long in this accursed village and was seemingly untouched by its plague was remarkable, and nothing short of a miracle. The young boy was so very different than Ramon, both in looks and demeanor, but Pesanta couldn't help herself from feeling a deep sorrow at the memories he mustered up within her. The many sleepless nights, that icy feeling in her heart that never quite went away. It was a stab of regret for the one time she wasn't present when her former master, her charge, needed her the most. His infatuation with that blonde agent driving him to act arrogantly, coupled with her own failure to protect him, had cost the young count his life. Her absence had been an error, a fatal mistake that she would undoubtedly take with her to her grave. There was no atonement to be made, no way to undo that which was already done but, perhaps here, in this abandoned child, she might be able to find some small measure of comfort. Perhaps even long awaited peace.
The child visibly stiffened as Pesanta waved toward him, motioning for him to come closer, and, though greatly apprehensive, he began to draw nearer. After a few more moments of careful deliberating and creeping bird-like steps, the boy was finally within arm's reach. Pesanta released a chest-deep sigh, slowly, calmly expelling the held breath. Lifting her gaze from the ground to his face, she once again caught sight of his striking silver-gray eyes. She continued to stare into those weary depths, easily getting lost in their beauty and the lonely child-like innocence that only one of such youth could possess. Ramon had been young once, and much kinder were those days. The days which she sometimes yearned to return to even if they were all but lost to anyone now. Who are you? she can hear him suddenly asking in Italian, voice a shy quiver. Are you...alone? His tone is light, quiet, like the echo of some lost memory returning. Tilting her head slightly to one side, Pesanta rumbled out a low, in-human response, knowing full well he probably wouldn't understand her. She was different now, her body, one that had once been nothing more than human, now greater resembled those of the monstrosities that roamed this place at night. Her altered vocal cords were no longer capable of human speech, and thus produced more animalistic tones and noises. Regardless... Shortly after the verbal exchange had taken place, Pesanta took a bold step, snaking both lanky arms around the child and pulling him into a motherly embrace. He was so small, delicate, a thing altogether precious and equally irreplaceable. For a moment there was a trace of dread crawling across his features, but it quickly vanished. Following his brief trepidation, the boy allowed himself to slowly relax, relishing in the warmth radiating from his new companion. Pesanta cast a glance downward just as the young lad began to lean close, pressing his small frame into her lavish silken robes. Folding both sleeves about him, she held him close, finding a proper setting position and making herself comfortable. Currently being this close to the docks offered a perfect view of the late evening sky, and it was already growing late. By the time the first vibrant streaks of red and pink were tearing across the blue of dusk, the child was already asleep and Pesanta was settling in to watch what was quite possibly the most beautiful sunset she had seen in years. The magnificent sight increased two-fold as its colorful reflection stretched out over the lake, and for the first time in quite a long time, Pesanta remembered, in a small measure, what peace felt like.

cuiviénen ot3 hcs
For @skaelds primarily (add ur own!) with special mention for @elentarial
Main what ifs: Fëanor had two dads; or, Elwë escapes Nan Elmoth and reaches Valinor again.
Before Oromë found the Eldar, the elves already had quite the society and culture by Cuiviénen. They grouped themselves according to their 'tribe' or kindred, and headed by the very first of the Unbegotten. Their central government was a council consisting of the Unbegotten, which decided things on a majority vote.
Imin liked to think himself the leader of everybody else, but then he got lost in the dark when he went foraging for some mushrooms and was replaced in the council with his son and daughter-in-law. (There were some stories that said Imin's companions specifically left him to be taken; he had become such an unpopular leader at some point in time).
Elves could take a maximum of two spouses during their very early days; they mated early and begot as many children as they could, to stabilize their numbers against the disappearances and fell creatures that hunted them outside of their settlements.
Many elves though, still chose to have one spouse only, and had as many children as they could from said spouse.
No elf forced themselves on another elf who was already wed.
The courtship was primitive; en elf brought gifts of use to his/her intended spouse (food or hunting implements, cloth for clothing, implements for building homes), and if the intended partner was interested enough, then they sought out a private place and moment and laid together. If the Bond held, then they were wed; if not, they were not meant to be together.
Children was the primary objective of wedding others.
An elven couple could have up to six children per pair; a full family with two spouses could have a maximum of twelve children.
Finwë was the third child of his parents. He had two other older siblings who got lost in the dark.
Elwë was the eldest of his three siblings. He was from the second spouse of his mother. All the children of his mother's first spouse (and the first spouse) stayed in Cuiviénen and became Avari.
Miriel was the fourth daughter in a brood of six, born with a frail hröa, but with great talent in the making of fine things, be they delicate, primitive jewelry or embroidering cloths.
Finwë was a very popular elf and had droves of suitors. One of the strongest candidates for his coveted choice (being a direct descendant of the Noldor's ancestors, Tatä and Tatië) was an elleth who gave him a year's worth of harvest (with honeycombs) and an ellon who gave him two goats.
However Finwë chose to pursue Elwë instead. Elwë rejected him at first (since reproduction was the primary aim of the elves at that time).
Finwë, who had also been eyeing Miriel for some time (she was his childhood friend alongside Elwe and the three of them grew up together), weds her first.
It is Miriel who convinced Elwe to accept Finwe and her suit for his hand.
Their homestead was Elwe's place by the lakeside. He provided for them through fishing and hunting, while Finwe provided by raising crops, foraging and hunting. Miriel tended the homestead and wove cloths and offered her delicate handiwork to repair things.
Because of Miriel's unusually frail hröa, the three of them refrained from begetting children at that time.
Oromë finds the Eldar.
Unsure what to do with their 'strange' society in addition to legitimate concerns about the elves, Oromë consults the Valar sitting at Mahanaxar, and it is decided to bring them into Aman.
Ingwe, Finwe and Elwe were chosen as ambassadors. Miriel was entrusted to Elwe's brothers Olwe and Elmo to be watched over by them while they were away.
Finwe wanted the promise of Valinor not so much for himself and Elwe, but for Miriel. Both had hoped that in the Undying Lands, Miriel could find renewed strength and purpose.
The Great Journey begins.
Many elves, especially the First Ones, refuse the summons, instead choosing the dangerous way of life in the Hither Lands than the too-good-to-be-true promise of Valinor.
Elwe is a very vocal leader against Orome's frequent departures, and insisted the Vala leave behind some measure of security for the Eldar. This is why the five Maiar guardians (including Melian, Olorin and Curumo) are sent to accompany the Eldar during the great journey.
Manwe was greatly disturbed by what Orome told him about the primitive Eldarin culture. It was determined by the Valar to formulate certain societal rules in order to pre-empt potential chaos in Valinor with regard to some of the elves' way of life.
Because the Teleri were the greater number of people and prone to distraction and dawdling, Finwe, Elwe and Miriel had to decide to split up. The Noldor and Vanyar go ahead first while Elwe and his brothers wrangle their people.
Melian attempts to enchant Elwe in Nan Elmoth. Elwe, already having doubts because of Orome's frequent departures, manages to evade her sorcery and escapes the forest. He is still delayed by a hundred years, however.
The Teleri finally cross the Great Sea. This time, Osse attempts to delay Elwe. Elwe is more insistent about his refusal and wants nothing else but to rejoin Finwe and Miriel.
Osse, wrathful at being rejected, sinks Elwe's boat.
Elwe is the only elf to have swam all the way across the Great Sea and reached Tol Eressea as a half-elf, half-kelp creature.
The Teleri stay mainly at Eressea, with Avallone as their capital. Alqualonde is nothing more than an important port town to trade with the Noldor and Vanyar.
Elwe abdicates to Olwe and Olwe becomes the sole ruler of the Teleri.
Elwe rejoins Finwe and Miriel in Tirion.
Feanor is born, but Miriel still gets tired of living.
Friction between Elwe and Finwe, because Finwe desires greatly to remarry for more children. Elwe tries his hardest to support along Feanor and Finwe both.
Finwe eventually remarries to Indis, but with Elwe's caveat that she take their unusual family as they are found.

I'm fascinated by those doodles. What kind of world do cherry and scylla live in? Like ours but more advanced, or a totally constructed world?
aa ty!! THEY live in a world that’s a Lot like ours but more advanced, specifically like our world once or twice removed a hundred years in the future where a semi-apocalypse is already happening/has happened. It wasn’t a big terrible event it’s like a gradual ~10 year collapse of modern society that a lot of people were super tired of by year 2, and a lot of companies with stakes in the game either tried to pretend it wasn’t happening or they had a UNIQUE PLAN to FIX YOUR CRUMBLING LIFE and you should PAY US MONEY to help you. real “in these unprecedented times” nuttery. meanwhile internet and radio goes down, huge landmasses shift, natural disasters occur, nature and highways get a little funky, people are left with what they have around them almost entirely unregulated. So, most of them either clear out the walmart and head to a large settlement, or settle somewhere on their own in a small community to live and care for each other. Many larger companies, without any regulations being enforced, start doing desperate Unethical Science and robotics, trying to create protection circles and company-states or whatever
so, semi-concurrent apocalypse town, big upheaval landscape changes, tons of roads that wind everywhere, unique scraps-built settlements dotted everywhere between large sleek regulated settlements, drones and robots a la futuristic big dog, cars with rocket launchers attached. Most people use cars or trade to settle things.
Scyl and Cherry live in a self sustaining city full of small individual settlements run by “families” near one of those big company towns and they work at one of the last functioning lakeside resorts in the whole country. it is run by an eighteen year old and his three friends it got hugely popular by word of mouth and they have five cars and if a gang wants to stay in the hotel they have to leave the cars in the garage and they all race dirty

Mountain & Island (Shadowmoor No. 295 & 288, Illus. Brandon Kitkouski)
One really cool thing about the Lorwyn-Shadowmoor block is the fact that it features a super-cycle of 20 basic land diptychs - one for each of the 10 two-color-combinations in each mini-block.
Panorama-style basic lands have been done a few other times in Magic's history (the original Kamigawa Block and Scars of Mirrodin come to mind), but as far as I'm aware, the Lorwyn/Shadormoor basics are the only ones that combine different colors (I'm only considering "regular sets" here and ignoring special releases - there definitely have been a few five-color basic land panorama promos).
Why are the diptychs cool? Well, for one, it's just neat to be able to physically put two (or more) basic lands next to each other and have them form a bigger picture. And from a Vorthos perspective, they give the viewer a "wider view" of the setting. I especially like how these lands show the "border regions" between different areas. They give you a concrete idea of how all the individual set pieces (the forest, the plains, the mountains etc.) fit together.
This Mountain-Island diptych features the weird, spiky Shadowmoor mountains on the left side and some kind of lakeside settlement on the right. The houses shown on the Island are special in the sense that they show up only on this basic land and nowhere else in the card art from Shadowmoor and Eventide. Outside of the sets proper, a concept scetch of this Island can also be found on the DeviantArt page of MtG artist Anthony Scott Waters.
I love weird, unexplained one-offs like this. We don't know who these houses belong to. But we can always speculate. The fact that they're built into a lake makes me think that they are connected to the merrow, Lorwyn/Shadowmoors merfolk. However, merrow on Shadowmoor are almost exclusively portrayed as marauding bandits and don't seem like the type that would build a nicely organized settlement. Also, if the merrows are just among themselves - why build stuff above the waterline in the first place?
On Lorwyn, where merrow often acted as merchants, they built above-the-water stilt-house structures called crannogs (a real-world term) to interact with the world's non-aquatic denizens. The presence of this Island in Shadowmoor, then, has to mean that not all communcation between merrows and non-merrows has broken down, and there are still some places where they interact with kithkin or elves on a non-hostile basis.
For the longest time, I've had the idea for a MtG story that features this Island as one of its main setpieces. It's a settlement of a weird bunch of (blue-aligned) Kithkin outcasts, who didn't fit in in their douns and formed a secret wizard society, working together with some merfolk. The protagonist, too, is exiled from his doun and stumbles upon their community. He finds a home there - but then it turns out that the merrows have been pulling the strings all along, grinding away the minds of the Kithkin wizards to awaken a terrible lake monster. The protagonist manages to sneak out of the settlement, and has to save his new-found family and friends...
I've never come around to actually writing the story, but it's intriguing details in card illustrations like this that get my imagination going.

your storyshift au looks super interesting!! (and we actually shared similar concepts for our respective aus lol) really looking forward to how it plays out
if possible i would like a bit more info about the settings, they look super cool already based on their inspirations but i would like to know if there’s other certain buildings/architecture/etc you’re planning to include in these locations as well :)
Heya! Glad you're interested in Storyshift! (NGL I was a bit worried at first that Redswap was a bit too similar to my own AU, but I understand it was a coincidence hehe).
As for places in SequenceShift, my personal favorite is Lakeside Village. This homely little place combines elements from Snowdin and the Honeydew Resort, as well as taking inspiration from traditional Japanese villages. I covered it briefly in the overview, but it's a town renowned for its baked goods and abundance in flowers and plays a very important role in food production for the Underground. Annually, they host the Festival of the Harvest, which in the past used to be hosted by Empress Ceroba herself. However, she sadly hasn't attended since Kanako's passing.
Tumblr media
Next up is the Frostpeak Settlement. Since I'm a Colorado boy, I based it a bit off of how some of the smaller towns around here look in the winter. This is more or less the actual Snowdin of SequenceShift. Plot wise it acts as a mining town/trading post (the mines connect the Dunes to Frostpeak in this AU) responsible for supplying the resources needed to maintain the Steamworks and other towns across the Underground. Don't have much set up for it yet, but this is also where Martlet's house is located in the AU.
Tumblr media
Lastly, I don't have a picture of it, but AXS Studios is one of the first locations Clover will come across after the Steamworks. The Imperial City (what I renamed New Kingdom to) combines traditional Edo-style architecture with a modern metropolis (mixing elements from both East Asian and North American cities), and while Ketsukane Palace focuses on the former, AXS studios shows the more modern side of the Underground. Due to Axis's status as a lower-end celebrity, don't expect his studio to be fashionable or anything. To give a taste of that Southern/Western feel, it's actually a small outlet located in a strip mall. Definitely nowhere near as glamorous as Mettaton. That's all I have so far, but I love taking every opportunity I can to flesh out SequenceShift. Once again, thanks for the ask, and if you got any further questions or suggestions, by all means send em my way!

Back at it again folks - back to writing shitty fanfiction.
I can't believe I'm actually doing this. But here you go. A teaser for a Leon Kennedy x reader fic that no one asked for, but I had to get this on paper so forgive me.
Slight spoilers for the RE 4 Remake
Despite the occasional flash of pain that inflicted your back, you carried on with the mission. You and Leon had gotten split up at the lakeside settlement shortly after your beating.
You knew Leon could handle himself, but at one point, he was radio silent for hours. You'd shared your concerns with Hunnigan, and she agreed it was unusual. Eventually, he came to, to your relief.
"Leon, are you alright? You haven't made contact with me for hours." You couldn't mask the fear that surfaced in your voice, and he noticed.
"Yeah, I'm okay. Was busy making sushi. It won't happen again." He must have been referencing that giant fucking creature in the lake that you saw villagers getting eaten by earlier. Well, at least you got someplace to start looking for Leon.
"That's a relief. Don't do that again, love."
"Wouldn't dream of it, sweetheart."

TWST × Gone AU Groups and Settlements
Tumblr media
The map I'm basing the settlements in this AU off of is the FAYZ map found in the first pages of the books in the Gone book series (last pages for British editions) - I'll include images of these maps at the end of this post! Some area names will be slightly altered though.
This'll have some info on each of the areas, and some of the jobs that certain characters will have in each of the areas. (Plus some hints at details in potential plot if I ever end up writing something substantial for this, who knows? Certainly not me lol)
Tumblr media
Town/Sage Beach
A fairly sized coastal town directly beside where the wall had appeared, with steep cliffs at the east most edge of the beach. There's many residential areas, a school, a daycare, and a few shops as well. Most of the children trapped within the wall are likely to be found here.

Raven's Academy (Boarding School)
A boarding school about two miles away from the coastal town. It's regarded as fairly prestigious and, in the earlier days of the Barrier event, the students were considered to be standoffish and closed-off from the rest of the populace. The dormitories can comfortably house all of the students and then some, but it takes a powerful leader to keep all of the students under control.
Leaders:
Malleus Draconia
Lilia Vanrouge
Peacekeepers:
Silver Vanrouge
Sebek Zigvolt (Temporary)
Tumblr media
Asim Islands
A group of private islands owned by the Asim family a few miles away from the coast of the national park. The visiting members of the family were unlucky enough to be residing on the farthest island from the mainland when the barrier event occurred. Luckily for them, the island holds a large mansion that's well stocked with resources, along with several boats and a helicopter that may prove useful in eventually reaching the mainland.
Residents:
Kalim Al-Asim
Jamil Viper
Namja Viper
Aala Asim
Rehan Asim
Ebrah Asim

Mostro Lake
Leaders:
A large lake on the North-east edge of the barrier, holding numerous house boats and with a decently large population of fish in the waters. There's even camping areas around the lake's edge, and supplies for camping and fishing available in a lakeside shack. A group settled in the area led by three particularly notorious boys known for taking advantage of any profitable opportunities that arises for them - even at the detriment of others...
Azul Ashengrotto
Jade Leech
Floyd Leech
Tumblr media
The Wilds (National Park)
A large, forested area that's on the opposite side of the barrier to the town. There's a river running through it - the entire area is filled with various animals, some of which twisted by the changes within the barrier wall. Later on, as some children began to display unnatural powers, some of the first to do so formed a small group and fled to the national park in search of safety away from the larger settlements.
Hunters:

Sebek Zigvolt
Gatherers:
Ace Trappola
Yuu

Desert/Mineshaft Shack
A trek accross the mountains or the desert will lead you to a small shack and a mineshaft beside the edge of the dome. While there isn't enough food and water available for a large group to survive out there, there's enough for a few people - making it a good place to settle if a small group wants to survive alone.
Residents:
Leona Kingscholar
Cheka Kingscholar
Ruggie Bucchi
