New No Venom chapter is once again kicking my ass so instead I'll come here to ramble and offer some canons to No Venom universe in hopes of reigniting my writing juices

Wilbur Ash went through four different foster families. None of them could offer him stability and help he needed and one was actively abusive! It ended badly for them when Wilbur snapped :)

On that note, Ash was a nightmare child :D He was an understimulated elytrian with no help for his instincts. Elytrians are much stronger than most hybrids. Wilbur could pick small adults as a child for example. He could also throw himself at an adult with his claws and solve his problems in different way...

Gods of No Venom! In my mind, the pantheon acts as a big family! Lady Death is the oldest and acts as the eldest sister, including having to scold other gods when they act too unruly 😀 XD is the middle child with anger issues and has to be scruffed from time to time. Prime may not be the youngest but they sure treat her like that!

Also, Prime was born from stars 🌟

Philza has black claws naturally but he still paints them. It's a difference between matte and the sheen of it! Maybeee even has gem nail polish. Shiny!

Wilbur Ash breved small amounts of potion of regeneration for himself to keep at all times. It was super useful during his stage days- any minor injury was gone and he had more energy for rehearsals! He misses having the potions at hand now.

HAPPY ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY uhh two days ago (':

its been one year and two days since i uploaded my first and only fic :D i meant to finish this on the actual anniversary, but alas i procrastinated (hence the name.) i decided to draw that last scene in the fic to celebrate. although it was up to reader interpretation, this is how i always kinda imagined it. a dark plain where lady death greets our boys to decide their eternal fate. also, ever since i uploaded the fic, ive never actually reread it q: last i remember, it was lowkey shhhit, but everyone seems to like it. so, im going to reread it either tonight or maybe tomorrow, and ill have a nice fresh view to see if its actually good or if yall is fr bullshitting me

Magic

Tallulah has been singing ever since she can remember. When she was very small Wilbur drew her into his arms and told her that music was a kind of magic. That she could change the world with nothing but her words if she wished. Tallulah has never forgotten that.

Even when Wilbur is gone Tallulah sings. She sings on the way to school holding Chayanne’s hand so she doesn’t fall in a creeper holes, she sings during class, she sings with Phil in the garden, she sings in the rain and she sings swimming in the endless ocean.

On her papa’s birthday Tallulah prepares a song just for him. She spends months practicing it getting the tune and the words just right. Finally, on the day she sits and waits watching the stormy sea, waiting for the golden lights of the train to bring Wilbur back to her.

Phil waits with her even as it gets dark and cold one wing shielding Tallulah’s smaller body from the wet. Chayanne paces in front of them sword raised and it’s her who sees the lights of the train.

When when Wilbur finally appears like a ghost out of the fog he looks exhausted. Even after he’s inside, curled up on the rug he looks small and worn. But when Tallulah sings the song she practiced just for him, Wilbur’s eyes light up. And just like that Tallulah makes magic.
