Saint Germain and Lady Portia, Golden Ray, message for Twin Flames
“The energy of unconditional love, from unconditional love,
And energy for those who are listening now
Place your heart in your heart, beloved, and touch your partner with love gently, tendernessly
Tell him or her, you are in love, from your heart, there is nothing in between those two hearts which cannot be moved forward in love. Sometimes, however, you can not tell you, yourself, is it a true love, is it true love is my spouse my twin, my spouse, my partner meant to be for me. I don't want to be a someone who is not enough for him or her, I don't want to love him not enough as I see light only in me, I don't want to recognize the love which I share already from my light for him or her. I don't want to make love, I don't feel well in his presence or her, my body is a sacred place I said it to my man, and he recognized goddess in my body. I didn't want to tell him I love him, I didn't want to accept his love for me, I didn't want to open my heart for love his love, I didn't want to admit I am in love with him, I didn't want to change from the first touch of his heart. There was silence and the laughter, and pure joy. We knew, it is a time to be awaken from each other love, it was a time to say to ourselves I love you, I am in love with you, I am in love with you. In silence we made love, in silence.
I am a twin, he is my twin
Masters on earth, invisible light, felt the calling what is love
From one heart. Open heart is.”

You gotta hand it to Portia though.. her conclusion that Pen is missing for an hour every ball they attend was that her social battery ran out. Which is a very valid reason, and she never questioned it before because she understood that its a thing.

I was talking about a historical male author I dislike because I found his works misogynistic and the person said, "Oh, well I suppose you don't read Shakespeare either." and I was like, "Shakespeare? SHAKESPEARE?!?! Of course I read Shakespeare, that man loved women."
Shakespeare wrote a wide variety of fleshed out female characters. He wrote Damsels in Distress, Cross-dressing Girlbosses, and Complex Female Villains. He wrote a woman who refused to sell her virtue to save her family and then shamed her brother for suggesting it. He wrote Taming of the Shrew and it's opposite, All's Well that Ends Well, in which the wife hunts down and tames the husband. He wrote men who are good because they listen to, trust, and defend women. He wrote women of all kinds. He wrote women who drive the plot and women doomed by the narrative. He wrote women in love and women who pathetically follow a man who doesn't like them and women in hatred. He wrote sensible women and silly women and everything in between of all ages.
I wish modern authors could write women as well as he did.

Love complicated mother characters. Love when a mother brings her child to an execution but covers her eyes to spare her the gore. Love when they nitpick their daughters but also ran a pyramid scheme on an entire town to save them from poverty. Love when they can’t say I love you but steal a throne to keep their child safe. “She’s awful! She’s a bitch! She deserves the worst.” Shut up. She’s amazing. She’s complex. She’s iconic. She’s an ocean of emotions and experiences. She’s full of rage society will never let her express. She’s a little girl who never got rescued.

Random thoughts on Colin & Portia:
I loved watching how the “neighbor boy,” Portia Featherington assumed was a typical rakish gentleman, out of reach and unrealistic for Penelope to like:
Declared his love for her daughter assuredly, fervently and loudly to make sure nobody dared question that he wanted to marry her.
Tumblr media
Defended Penelope fiercely even against her own mother to make clear that mistreating or disrespecting his woman would not be tolerated.
Tumblr media
Discovered Penelope was Lady Whistledown (after he himself said no one would ever marry LW because she would bring ruin on her family) but not only did he not end the engagement despite being upset with Penelope about it, he married her anyway and his vows were undeniably heartfelt and sincere, he gave her a wedding ring which was not necessary or common practice at the time apparently (Daphne just got the one ring from Simon), and he danced with her in broad daylight at their wedding breakfast (rather romantically).
Tumblr media
He was immediately furious the second he heard that someone would dare blackmail his wife, and not only would he not stand for it, he immediately acted (however misguidedly he did so) intending to protect Penelope and when the situation escalated, he was willing to lie to his family and pay a fortune to keep her safe.
Tumblr media
And much to Portia’s surprise, he took accountability for his part in making things worse when he could have blamed everything on Penelope.
Tumblr media
Then Colin supported Penelope’s choice about how to handle the LW situation and when she revealed herself to the ton.
Tumblr media
When Penelope offered him an annulment to free himself of association with Lady Whistledown, he insisted he was lucky just to be with her because he loved her.
Tumblr media
Then Colin danced with Penelope, clearly sending the message to the ton that he loved and supported his wife. Lady Whistledown did not trap him nor would he be turning his back on her. This was our first glimpse of Colin “My Wife” Bridgerton.
Tumblr media
Colin gave Penelope a son, and the Featherington estate the heir they so desperately needed, and Colin will no doubt raise her grandson to be a man of honor, elevating the formerly mocked and disrespected Featherington family to a level of respectability on par with the Bridgertons.
Tumblr media
As if that weren’t enough, Colin continues to support Penelope as a wife and mother, encouraging her passion for writing/working.
Tumblr media
That Bridgerton neighbor boy single-handedly made his mother-in-law, a justifiably jaded cynic, believe in love.
I cannot wait to see their relationship in future seasons.

Season 3 really feels like the end of an era for the show. And I don't just mean that because Polin will be taking a step back next season. That's something I'm used to and prepared for with the show's leads. But there are so many other things that are going to change too. The Featheringtons won't be up to their shenanigans, which means the show's comedic tone will shift. There will be less Peneloise, and for the first time, Eloise and Queen Charlotte's plots won't revolve around Whisteldown. Season 4 will also be the first season where the opening scene isn't a Bridgerton's debut into society.
In a lot of ways, season 4 is going to feel like a whole new show. And I don't think that's a bad thing. Shows should be able to evolve and most of these elements will reach their natural conclusion. But it's also a bit scary not knowing what the future holds. We've been with many of these dynamics for so long. Polly Walker in particular has been such a force that I truly can't picture the show without Portia Featherington.
I'm looking forward to seeing what a new era will bring, but I'm also finding it hard to accept that we have to say goodbye to this one.
