Have any of your listener designs become the canon version? And for who if so?

Listeners are definitely tricky as they're supposed to be audience stand ins, BUT there have been a few cases where my listeners have become the VAs personal canon!

First one that comes to mind is Faith Koria from @goodboyaudios Bastard Warrior!

I came to GB with the concept that she had more African features, and he loved the idea and made it canon to his canon! Hence why the official art of her brother is also black! Now that Faith has an official voice, she's more of a character then a listener. So you can consider this art accurate to her character!

Another option would be Raven from @escapedaudios Neon Noir, but that's a more complicated story

I headcanoned that Raven got a Crow tattoo on her back, shoulder and neck to memorialize Crow at the end of the series and going into Neon Wings. Escaped really liked the idea! but my headcanons had already infected enough of that series and I felt bad, so I asked him to not include that one lol You can blame a lot of Ivan's look and backstory on me though! I came up with his birds and their names, his prosthetic leg, and his actual design!

curious abt your bird headcannons for Ron and Desirée DeLite 👀👀👀 i feel like having Ron be one of those little birds that make a huge fuss to scare predators away and Desirée being a bird of prey would work well for their whole dynamic lol

keeping you guys on ur toes !!! ,, i reversed the roles :PPP (though i def see where u guys are coming from and respect the ideas too!!! o7777),,, i think ron fits as a bird of prey that isnt taken too seriously, and i think des it so sweet she’s gotta be harmless,, plus i think a common swift fits her lifestyle (spending habits could be seen as always quickly moving onto the next thing) (ALSO !! swifts are so rare to see up close since they're always flying,, she's a real catch) (honorable mentions later)

i like the hummingbird idea :DD,, i admittedly don’t know much about hummingbirds,, but one think i do know is they’re very territorial and aggressive LMAO,, SOO this choice is based of vibes (and their speed)‼️‼️ cutesy, fluttery, pretty, and high energy !!!! i also think it’s neat to give a circus circus performer a bird with very good aerial control ! a bit unfortunate that regina doesn’t get the super bright colors of the male hummingbirds,, but rufous females are still pretty colorful :3 (is mtf regina a hc??? that would be cool….)

ok honorable mentions ! for ron,, i started my search with little birds that make a big fuss like you suggested !! ,, which there’s a bunch of,, eventually i started heading in the direction of “birds that camouflage themselves as predators” (which, btw, the pygmy owl has a set of large false eyes on the back of its head in a similar vein ):33),, before eventually deciding on simply a small owl that people would probably look at and think “awww, cute”

for desiree: the merlin !! (and a kestrel tbh) these are both small birds and members of the falco family

also hate lucanis' thing with coffee. 1) they did all the heavy lifting of making it really annoying and like the only trait that he has before fandom even touched it, 2) why does he like coffee. like okay outside of just happening to like coffee, a drink that many people like, he likes it because it keeps him awake so spite can't take over. would it not be more compelling if he fucking hated it. had such negative psychological associations with it that he functionally HAD to become a coffee snob because it's the only way he can stomach it at all because it's all wrapped up in trying to force control back over his body and never being allowed to rest. or he was a coffee snob who liked coffee a lot but now that he has to drink it to "be normal" he finds himself slipping and just fucking drinking neves boiled coffee grounds.

why does lucanis never behave like a man who hasn't slept, like a man who's drank too much caffiene. he's never short or irritable, his skills are completely untouched (outside of the same stupid "distraction" he has which honestly did not compellingly make his shot at ghil seem fumbled at all; it was the most competent thing that had happened in the battle so far, because we went in without a plan for no reason and improvised everything on the spot because no one on this team has a compelling reason to be there). he eats well he effortlessly takes up chores for everyone including shopping (and never has any trouble remembering anything). sometimes I drink a cup of coffee to face down the daunting task of doing retail work for five hours and I spent the entire day in a nauseous fog of misery but lucanis is compulsively consuming caffiene to keep a literal demon from taking his body and running while being the person on the team whose job it is to kill a cloud and also make sure everyone eats and do all the shopping but honestly it's fine because he gets a smooth cup of joe with no negative effects whatsoever.

The thing about complaining about 13's outfit in legend of the sea devils from a watsonian perspective is that this doctor has not Once bothered to dress appropriately for any of her adventures in other times.

I mean, sure, she put on a tux to go to a party in an era where a tux isn't weird on a woman But she still wore culottes and work boots to a formal wear party. She didn't bother to even change in Nikola Tesla's night of terror and while I'm not an expert in American fashion history I'm fairly certain her outfit included actual crimes. She didn't change in the witchfinders. Or Rosa. All she did in The Haunting of Villa Diodati was throw on a floral waistcoat with her normal outfit.

Doyleism is a whole other conversation to be having but 13's outfit, while 99% likely to be wildly inaccurate (and anachronistic) and not in keeping with the fashion of their era Or the region, is very much in character for Her.

If 13 walked out of that TARDIS dressed in a perfectly on point outfit for the times, my immediate reaction would have been to ask what on earth was wrong with here and to try and figure out the catch.

But yes. Doyleism is its own conversation here, but from a watsonian perspective, 13 being in a half assed outfit? Yeah that checks out.
