Page 8. ---- Man Who Shot Uncle Is Held Dangerous By Crown ---- HULL, Que., Dec. 7 - A sentence of seven years in penitentiary was yesterday meted out to Euclide Huneault, at the criminal assizes here. He was found guilty on a charge of attempted murder at Lac Verte, Que., in the Gatineau district, north of Ottawa.

The case arises out of the firing of a shot in the direction of Arthur Huneault, uncle of the accused, the shot hitting the victim in the neck. Euclide Huneault, after being arrested, is alleged to have confessed. stating that he had shot at his uncle with a view of obtaining money to get married.

A jury found Huneault guilty on a charge of attempted murder with a recommendation for clemency. The Crown, however, took the position that he was a dangerous man and for a heavy sentence. asked

This brave brother allegedly took the baby away from his dead mother's corpse; effectively, saving the baby's life, according to local reports.

The United Nations condemned the attack that targeted the camps in Lac Vert and Mugunga, near the city of Goma, the capital of North Kivu province, the UN said in a statement.

The attacks, in which at least 20 people were injured, were a "flagrant violation of human rights and international humanitarian law and may constitute a war crime”, it said.

Many of the victims were sleeping in their tents when the area was attacked.

The United States has accused the military in neighbouring Rwanda and the M23 rebel group of being behind the attacks. Yet the U.S. remains a staunch ally of Rwanda despite its many violations of human rights in DRC and its support for M23.

Malgré le froid tout semblait beau comme un poème d'hiver. Comme si tous les êtres étaient étendus aux amants. Ou flirter avec lui lui-même. L'icône a acheté son visage ? Les arbres qui connaissent leurs noms et leur lignée, leurs saisons vertes, et de n'importe quel pays de Dieu dont ils viennent.

Celui qui n'avait que quelques minutes au téléphone, semble avoir donné aux arbres beaucoup de temps, pour lire toutes les planches (de fer) marquées sur un arbre.

Kan, en marchant avec elle sur les bords du lac où certains canards skiaient, il appelait les arbres un par un, comme s'il les avait présentés aux femelles qui l'avaient précédée à son cœur.

Sur les rives du lac Ponchartrain, le quartier de Lakeview s’étend entre espaces verts, parcs arborés, et grandes demeures aux murs pastels.
