Interesting 1800s home in Lamy, NM has 3bds, 4ba, and was just reduced $225K to $1.425M.
The name of the property is "Quartermill Farm," but those look like wild animals on the sign. It also says "Dog on Duty," what, Dingo dogs? This is weird.
This is a separate building that holds an art gallery.
And, a studio.
I wonder if they dabble in taxidermy here.
A secret trap door under the carpet leads to this cellar.
You can sit and take a break outside this building
And, this is the house. The long entrance hall is lined with bookshelves and lots of doors leading to other rooms. Each doorway has both doors and curtains.
The hallways feature more art.
Lovely big living room with this beautiful fireplace. Interesting single candle, though.
Large dining room with a cute corner fireplace. The house is really nice.
Wow, great kitchen. Chef's stove, too. I like the blue cabinetry.
Hall to the bedrooms has a freezer in the corner.
Beautiful large bedroom with a log ceiling.
Interesting shower. Great idea to block the window with plants, though.
This secondary bedroom is also a nice big size and has a lovely fireplace.
Cute little vintage bath. I would put some colorful Mexican tiles in here.
Here's a long covered patio.
I'm not seeing any evidence of a farm.
There's a koi pond that needs to be filtered.
The owner has a lot junk around.
Looks like some sort of oven on the right.
It's an interesting property and measures .90 acre, so it's almost an acre.
Seems like a nice treed area, as opposed to the barren desert we saw yesterday.

Spain floods death toll rises to 158, country declares three days of mourning
The death toll from flooding in Spain has risen to more than 158, with the country declaring three days of mourning. Authorities are urging people to stay indoors as weather conditions worsen and the death toll is expected to rise.
An annual norm of rainfall fell in a few hours this week in the southern and eastern regions of the country, sweeping away cars, destroying homes and forcing residents to salvage what they could after horrific floods.
Cars piled on top of each other like falling dominoes, uprooted trees, downed power lines and household utensils, all buried in the mud that covered the streets of dozens of communities in Valencia, south of Barcelona on the Mediterranean coast.
Flags were lowered on government buildings and a minute’s silence was declared across the country after flash floods damaged Valencia’s inf
Survivors described torrents of bubbling water that turned narrow streets into death traps, rushed onto the ground floors of private and apartment blocks, and flooded garages and car parks.
Angry residents in several towns said mobile phone alerts did not arrive until 8 p.m. on Tuesday night, when serious flooding had already begun in some areas, and hours after that the national meteorological service Aemet declared a red alert due to exceptionally heavy rains.
Three-day mourning period declared
Most of the deaths were recorded in Valencia, with at least 155 people killed in that province alone. Angel Martinez, one of 1,000 soldiers helping rescuers, told Spanish national radio RNE from the town of Utiel, where at least six people have died:
“We are searching house after house.”
Part of the reason Spain has suffered so much devastating flooding is that the country has endured a two-year drought. As a result, the ground became too hard to absorb rain, leading to flash flooding.
A three-day mourning period was declared on Thursday and there will be a minute’s silence before all football matches in Spain this weekend.
Valencia’s match against Real Madrid was postponed due to the devastation that hit the city.
The intense rain is caused by the natural phenomenon of “Gota fria,” or “cold drop,” which occurs when cold air moves over the warm waters of the Mediterranean Sea, creating atmospheric instability that causes warm and moisture-laden air to rise rapidly, leading to heavy rain and thunderstorms.
Scientists say the human-caused climate crisis is leading to an increase in the duration, frequency and intensity of extreme weather events. Experts say warming in the Mediterranean, which increases water evaporation, is playing a key role in the increase in heavy rainfall.
Valencia Mayor María José Catalá says a policeman was among eight bodies found drowned in a garage in La Torre. In the same neighbourhood, she added, a 45-year-old woman was found dead in her home.
Emergency was “still unresolved”
Transport Minister Oscar Puente said about 80 kilometres of roads had been severely damaged or made impassable. He said many were blocked by abandoned vehicles, some of which “unfortunately had bodies inside.” He also added that it could take up to three weeks for the high-speed railway line between Madrid and Valencia to reopen. King Felipe VI warned that the emergency was “still unresolved.”
The death toll from floods in Spain is the highest since 1973, when at least 150 people were estimated to have died in the southeastern provinces of Granada, Murcia and Almeria. In 1996, 87 people died after torrential rain hit a campsite in the Pyrenees.
Europe’s most catastrophic recent floods occurred in July 2021, killing 243 people in Germany, Belgium, Romania, Italy and Austria.

How To Keep Electric Garage Doors In Good Shape
Some people consider automatic and electric garage doors as a luxury home improvement, but for those who understand its benefits, it's quite a necessity. Regardless how you see this type of garage door; it's a fact that pushing a button to roll up the garage door while inside your car is much easier and more convenient than stepping out of your car and manually rolling the heavy door yourself. However, like any other equipment in your house, regular maintenance is needed to keep this type of garage door in good condition. If you have this one in your house, and you have no idea how to maintain it, then here are the steps you should take to maintain your electric garage door in working condition.
Clean the metal garage door regularly
Using a soft brush and mild detergent soap, clean the garage door regularly to keep corrosive chemicals and dirt from totally damaging and affecting the performance of the door. Furthermore, make sure you examine springs and hinges regularly and repair problems immediately before they develop into big problems.
Regular proper cleaning will remove harmful chemicals and sediments that get trapped in your garage door, which usually affects its operation. Repainting your door both inside and out after a couple of years or so, will keep moisture from slipping through the door and minimize the chances of corrosion, which is very important for opening and closing operation.
Electric wooden garage doors also need regular thorough cleaning, every after few years or so.
Lubricate Its Moving Parts Yearly
Both metal and wooden electric garage doors have chains and springs, which make the up and down operation seamless. Lubricating vital parts such as hinges, pivot points, rollers and springs, with a light-weight spray oil at least once a year, will keep its gliding operation smooth at all times.
Have A Thorough Examination Yearly
Acquiring the services of the professionals for more thorough examination and expert advice can spot potential problems before they even start to affect the operation of the door. Furthermore, these professionals will tighten nuts, screws, and bolts in their examination, which is vital in keeping the door's movements properly.
Clean and Lubricate Tracks
Pour a concentrated but non corrosive cleaner on a cloth, and wipe it on the tracks of the garage door and clean all exposed parts carefully. Remember to remove excessive moisture. Also, make sure you only use lubricants specifically made for garage doors or with powdered graphite to ensure that rollers will remain moving smoothly and efficiently on its tracks.
Parting Tips
Yearly thorough inspection for an electric garage door is important to keep it in good working condition and spot issues before they start to become expensive problems. Electric garage doors obviously work with electricity, thus you have to be extra careful on cleaning it, and never touch exposed wires or tamper anything unless you turn it off right from its power source. If you feel you're unskilled and unequipped to do the maintenance, then call the professionals for inspections and repairs.

LP en el Teatro Vórterix: Girls go wild on the West Coast

Fotos: Erik Esparza/ Amigos Imaginarios

New Post has been published on https://travelonlinetips.com/10-of-the-best-horror-events-you-need-to-attend-in-2018-2/
10 of the best horror events you need to attend in 2018
‘Tis the season when caring is scaring, and attractions around the nation are up to the task. From extreme single-guest experiences that will test your psychological mettle to old-fashioned mazes with more traditional elements of spook. Even film festivals will find you on the edge of your seat.
This list of 10 must-visit horror attractions runs the gamut, but can you run the gauntlet of fear traps that each of them set? Read on and decide for yourself.
Gates of Hell | Las Vegas
Abandon all hope, ye who enter the Gates of Hell — Photo courtesy of Freakling Bros.Horror Shows
It was the first R-rated attraction in Nevada, an “experiment in serious, uncompromising interactive horror.” Gates of Hell is part of the Freakling Bros. Trilogy of Terror in Las Vegas, an experience of the highest horror order.
It’s a Halloween life event perhaps surpassed only by the operation’s 2013 ante-upper: the 18+ Victim Experience, a solo-participant, after-hours offering so intense that only a portion of those who volunteer for the challenge “survive” without saying the safe word.
Scream Hollow | Smithville, Texas
Scream Hollow is nothing less than a horror complex set on 20 acres in Smithville, Texas — Photo courtesy of Karen & Steve Jackson
Located on 20 spooky acres roughly 50 miles outside Austin, Scream Hollow’s four large attractions take between 25 and 45 minutes to go through. That’s a lot of Halloween bang for your buck, and it’s spread over a complex of buildings in rural Texas (a bona fide proven location for classic and truly terrifying horror cinema).
One of its offerings, Virgil’s Last Laff, not only features evil clowns, but something in this maze is scaring them! We don’t even want to know…
Horrorworld | Rowland Heights, Calif.
Guests walk alone through Horrorworld’s Into The Dark experience — Photo courtesy of Horrorworld
Fans of the 1978 George Romero classic, Dawn of the Dead (or perhaps the 2004 remake) – where horror met social commentary amid the confines of a shopping mall – will delight in this Southern California horror attraction that largely does the same.
Taking over a portion of the Puente Hills Mall in Rowland Heights, this year’s Horrorworld mazes include the gore-spattered Flesh Yard, the mistreated miscreants of the Psycho Sanitarium, and the demonic possession-inspired Into the Black, a single-person, walk-it-alone experience. Think you’re brave enough?
ScareHouse: The Basement | Etna, Pa.
The Basement is ScareHouse’s 18+ haunt. Think you’ll survive? — Photo courtesy of The ScareHouse
ScareHouse features some pretty high-adrenaline haunts, but fear junkies looking for more extreme experiences will want to opt for a ticket into the 18+ Basement. The horrors are foisted upon guests who go in groups no larger than two (if you’ve got something to prove, you can go it alone).
It’s an atmospheric, immersive experience that includes profanity, water, tight and dark spaces and violent scenarios, among other things. It requires the signing of a waiver.
Fear Factory | Salt Lake City
Guests are spaced out at Fear Factory, which makes each walk-through a singular and scary experience — Photo courtesy of Fear Factory
Located in an industrial section of SLC, the former Portland Cement Works was a working operation, and a high-risk career choice. Several employees of the company suffered gruesome accidents over the years, so much so that it seemed the very edifice was thirsting for blood. And souls.
These days, folks line up at Fear Factory to experience close encounters firsthand, wending their way along the rickety metal walkways, never knowing what might lurk around the corners. Oh, and there’s a pitch-black slide you’ll ride to make your escape. Staffers break up the groups, allowing actors to delight in scream after fresh, crisp scream.
Scream-A-Geddon | Dade City, Fla.
If the mazes don’t get you, the inhabitants of Scream-A-Geddon’s Monster Midway might — Photo courtesy of A.D. Thompson
In Dade City, no one can hear you scream. That’s because Dade City (just outside Tampa) is pretty much in the middle of nowhere – and just where you want your hellish homespun horror carnival set.
Indeed, with mazes including the fluorescent firestorm of Rage 3D (because clowns are enduringly terrifying) and Dead Woods – a dark as pitch walk-through fraught with murderous hillbillies that seem just right for the locale. (The glow stick you’re equipped with isn’t as much to help you walk as it is to allow the Tate family to descend upon you from the darkness.)
Scream-A-Geddon has got old-school carny appeal with games, food and, of course, freaks walking around to add some unexpected spice to your selfies.
This is Real | Cold Spring, N.Y.
In previous years, This is Real’s “stars” were homicidal and horrific. This year, they’re cooking up something new — Photo courtesy of This is Real
Here’s where everything you learned watching horror movies might pay off. For the past two years, This is Real was logging all kinds of buzz – in a Brooklyn location – for being an altogether different attraction. One where guests signed up to be willing victims, kidnapped and stashed in a warehouse where they’d watch the torture-killings of other victims, then have the chance to escape from their cages, find their friends and hopefully make it out before becoming the next in line.
For 2018, they’ve moved their operation to Cold Spring for a test-run on something new they hope to bring to Brooklyn next year. Become a blindfolded guinea pig for these dark-attraction masterminds.
Spooky Empire | Orlando
It may be a horror con, but that doesn’t mean there’s any less cosplay — Photo courtesy of Spooky Empire/Paul Schuh
Spooky Empire is not a haunted attraction, but as the largest horror (Halloween, rock and roll and tattoo) convention in the nation, it certainly has all the elements to help you get into the spirit of the season.
This includes huge celebrities from the horror realm (this year’s biggies include Mistress of the Dark Elvira and both David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson from The X-Files), exhibitors selling all kinds of horror goodies and even a film festival. As with most cons, you can expect parties, panels and lots of cosplay, too.
Held October 26-28 in Orlando.
Brooklyn Horror Film Festival
All-new features, classic films and more make up the Brooklyn Horror Film Festival schedule — Photo courtesy of Brooklyn Horror Film Festival
Exploring the genre (while simultaneously embodying the essence of this legendary NYC borough), the Brooklyn Horror Film Festival features a wealth of new-era horror goodies.
This year’s installment features a first date gone wrong, a stylish, 70’s era slasher tribute set in the world of gay porn, a documentary about the beloved 80’s flick, The Monster Squad and a screening of the 1981 classic, My Bloody Valentine.
Theaters around Brooklyn will host the films and events, October 11-18.
Dungeon of Doom | Zion, Ill.
An hour-long romp through terror awaits at the Dungeon of Doom — Photo courtesy of Dungeon of Doom
How long do most haunted house walk-throughs take? Ten minutes? 15? At Dungeon of Doom, you’re looking at an hour’s worth of jump scares, chainsaws and even (if you’re game) being buried alive in this Chicago-area attraction.
Waits can get long as you get deep into October, but scare actors are plentiful and keep you entertained – even in line. How brave are you? Sign on for November’s blackout event and see the dungeon in a whole new way. Hint: you won’t see it at all!

Insight: Marbella (Alvaro Tobar - Third Culture)
The city of Marbella, nestled halfway down Spain’s Costa del Sol, is famous for being one of Europe’s most popular resort destinations, providing sun, sea, sand and cerveza to a large seasonal flow of wealthy foreign visitors. What it hasn’t generally been famous for is its music scene. Fortunately, Marbella’s Third Culture collective is flipping that impression on its head.
Comprised of producers, performers, promoters, DJs and a range of other creatives, Third Culture’s aim is to nurture a distinct, organic music scene that can make its mark beyond Marbella and compete with the big foreign acts that tour the region. By supporting some of Spain’s most exciting emerging artists, it seems they are starting to succeed. We got in touch with Alvaro Tobar, Third Culture’s ‘cultural agitator’, to find out why the Spanish hip-hop scene is finally fulfilling its potential, and how Marbella’s artists are providing alternative routes for itexpansion…
youtube
In ten words or less, how would you describe where you live?
A melting pot of international cultures with a unique lifestyle.
What got you involved in the local music scene, and what is your role within it?
What got me involved in the ‘scene’ was pretty much wanting to create one, a real one. We’ve had amazing venues & international superstars performing here for years – singers, DJs, rappers, etc – but that only happens in summer with the inflow of tourists. Other than that there’s no actual scene in the foundations. The venues, promoters, audience, they all just follow and copy each other based on what makes money. Nobody really cares about the actual music, its culture or what it’s spawning in the younger generations that soak it all up, in my eyes there’s a lot of raw talent here that keeps getting bypassed.
People just need inspiration, a sense of belonging to something bigger, let them know what they do is appreciated because it’s contagious, it spreads a message, it allows people to drop their fears, judgements, etc and to go for it, whatever it may be. It will push the next person to go out and do what they love, when you have a lot of people doing that, you have a healthy scene, a community and that’s when amazing things begin to happen.
I recently found out that the city of Atlanta (without the metropolitan area) has a smaller population than the city of Málaga which is the closest capital to Marbella. Now think about trap and all the music that has come out of the city of Atlanta in the past years that has shaped the sound of hip-hop and even pop music in the entire world: Outkast, T.I., Gucci Mane, Migos, Young Thug, 21 Savage, the list is endless. That is all because of the scene they had there, it’s been thriving for decades, people push one another to create and support each other, that’s when things flourish.
I started Third Culture as a monthly event that allowed all the creators here to gather in a relaxed atmosphere and experience something new; music (DJs and concerts), art, fashion, etc. A place to praise open-mindedness and creativity, something they couldn’t experience anywhere else locally and that actually made them feel like they were somewhere else, in an underground venue of a big city or metropolis for example. I’ve been told by people at our events that they feel like they’re in Shoreditch in London, or in Soho in NY, etc, anything but Marbella and that’s the biggest compliment.
My role within it is always through Third Culture. There I’m an MC, DJ, promoter, booking agent, designer, I do it all, so I wouldn’t really know what to call it. Recently in an interview with a local TV [station] they called me a ‘cultural agitator’ for the city, and I’m not mad at that, I’m here to shake the shit up until people realise, or at least until the right people do.
What are the dominant music styles in both Marbella and Spain as a whole, are there any exciting new music trends currently emerging?
In Spain the explosion in the modern hip-hop/trap scene has been insane, we’ve had hip-hop here for decades but it has always been marginalised and pushed aside, I think because it was never daring enough, it was just there to fulfil the ‘rap in Spain’ category. It never went mainstream aside from 2 or 3 acts unlike the UK or France that had a full scene with their own distinctive sound, but what’s happened here in the past 3-5 years is crazy. The level of artistry has gone through the roof, not only the acts and their music, but also visuals, merchandise, even marketing strategies, you see some very unique proposals that are already giving American & foreign artists huge competition, a lot of these Spanish acts have better numbers than established acts in the US (sales, YouTube views, followers, etc). This is mostly because Spanish acts are finally tapping majorly into Central and South America which are HUGE markets for them.
Marbella is different because this place is a bubble that is always ruled by international influence before Spanish influence. The ‘scene’ here is always looking at the international charts, but it’s better than ever in my opinion because every single venue now has at least one night a week dedicated to hip-hop, trap & urban beats, most of them with huge live performances. It’s definitely exciting to see how this is all developing considering there are more venues every year which allow for many more opportunities for the scene to grow and keep establishing itself.
Who are the key local acts we should be listening to right now?
Sandro Jeeawock: local producer who has collaborated with big names in Spain like Pimp Flaco, Kinder Malo and Dellafuente. Imagine if Atlanta’s 808 culture got all loved up and had a night of debauchery with the early Neptunes’ sound… His debut album Golden Boy was released early this summer via Ocean Club which he presented in a set at this year’s Sonar Festival. He will be back in BCN on the 26th of August playing in TRILL. Don’t miss it.
GXNZX: Picture a mysterious bearded cavalier majestically riding a Roland SP-404. Now you can listen to him. Lo-fi expert, dope sample choppa, if he gets on some pads, keep an extinguisher close. Shit will burn.
Olarte: A staple in the local scene, he has one of the most ample ’90s hip-hop libraries I’ve come across and you can tell on his production, the man is dipped in jazz (literally he has portraits of jazz greats tattooed all over his body) and his drums will make your neck snap, a deadly combo.
Rjay: In my opinion, the best male vocalist round these ends, London bred, Marbella based, with a great knack for songwriting. From trap to R&B, give him any beat and hell have a solid track in no time.
K:Miss: Powerful female vocalist, lead singer of soul band ‘Soulbelle’, she hasn’t left any genre untouched: house, jazz, rock & roll, and she keeps going. Her upcoming material with a modern hip-hop twist to it will definitely make heads turn.
Space Hammu: The out of town homies, hailing from the east-side of Malaga, this collective of MCs & producers is about to shake the scene in spain: Delaossa, Raggio & Carrion are 3 of the livest spitters I’ve heard come out the south, JMoods could flip a tank with his beats and Kas.Rules keeps it all sounding tight & crisp. Its a rap dream team and we can only help them push further, although they don’t need it.
What’s the live music scene/nightlife like in Marbella?
The majority of it is based in upmarket clubs, VIP bottles, etc, so whatever genre it’s always going to be somewhat commercial, but the appearances get bigger every year. So far the biggest acts we’ve had this year are: Lil Wayne, Tory Lanez, Tyga, Trey Songz, French Montana, Ja Rule, Fat Joe, etc. There’s also a very solid UK sounds scene, grime, garage, DnB, etc: Craig David, Tinie Tempah, J Hus, Giggs, Krept & Konan, Kano, So Solid Crew, DJ Luck & MC Neat, DJ EZ, etc, they’ve all been here this season. Now because of a sudden inflow of French tourism you also see huge names from the French scene stop by like Booba or Maitre Gims.
Other than that you can see full concerts in places like Starlite (Elton John, Ben Harper, etc.), Puente Romano Hotel for most of the oldies (George Benson, Billy Ocean, Chaka Khan, etc) or the brew pub La Catarina, the home of all the Third Culture events for the past two years where we’ve had the biggest names from the Spanish scene, like Bejo, BNMP, Nathy Peluso, Fanso, Jesse Baez & the list goes on.
For anyone visiting, what should they see and what should they eat and drink?
Marbella’s Old Town is beautiful with loads of tapas bars and great restaurants. If you want high end restaurants the square in Puente Romano has pretty much anything you could ask for. If you’re looking for something cheap & cheerful with a good vibe, I would definitely recommend Bao Garden, a relaxed hang-out spot with awesome Asian street food. Seafood here is a must, there’s plenty chiringuitos with espetos de sardinas, boquerones, pil-pil and all that good stuff.
The whole summer lifestyle here is what beomes the biggest sight if you ask me, but if you like the outdoors, the Paseo Maritimo that joins Marbella centre with Puerto Banus is an amazing walk by the beach, especially during sunset. Hike up La Concha mountain whenever it’s not too hot for the best views of the whole coast. El Chorro, Tarifa, El Palmar are also beautiful nature spots that are very close by.
What one song, past or present, sums up Marbella best?
If I had to chose a present track it would probably be Travis Scott’s ‘Butterfly Effect’ because the ambience of the track matches the setting, plus people here love to stunt. A lot of people come here JUST to stunt. You see them on Facebook working their butts off the rest of the year, looking all focused and then they come here to wile out & have fun, ‘for this life they cannot change’.
What are the biggest challenges faced by musicians in Marbella right now?
Without a doubt having work all year round, it becomes very alive in the holiday season, and some opportunities and openings arise, but after there’s simply not enough audience, so it’s down to the artists to move around and try find gigs. Other than that, during the holiday season most big venues have very very limited availability if any at all as they have most of their resident acts, DJs, etc, closed months in advance, there it’s simply a matter of having good connections and a good product.

Benefits of Carpet Cleaning
There are major health benefits to be had from keeping your carpets clean and maintained in a good healthy condition. This is particularly relevant in homes with families with children who are prone to allergies. Household and business need to bear in mind that a carpet acts like a filter/sponge. The carpet will absorb a variety of different soils over a period of time and hold this soil deep within its fibres. Your everyday activity (walking over its surface) agitates the pile/fibres which loosens the soil particles into the air. The dust, pet dander, and other such micro-organisms are only some of the soil particles that are dispersed into the air and which represent a potential health risk
Why Should You Maintain Clean Carpets?
Parents should be aware that their children are most at risk by suspended soil micro-organisms. This is s partly due to the modern-day fact that young children spend a lot of time indoors and close to the floor. Further, this is additionally due to their immune system not being as robust as an adult's. Breathing problems, such as asthma, can be triggered by poor indoor air quality, and is why parents notice improved health in their children after a though cleaning of their carpets.
A professional carpet cleaner in La Puente is trained and knowledge, which enables them to assess the complex variety of carpet fibres and constructions. These attributes enable the professional to proficiently clean and or restore the carpet (s) to their best condition. Professional carpet cleaners not only have the expertise to deal with the most determined stains delicate fibres; they also have the proper equipment to do so. Ultimately, home owners and businesses seeking out carpet cleaners need to consider just how valuable their time is versus the proficiency of a good professional. The results that can be gained from using such a professional will bring many benefits: a clean, good looking home or business which is good for all the family and visiting customers.
Cleaning Protection Against Dirt, Dust, and Bugs for Your Carpet and Upholstery
Dirty carpets, rugs and upholstery can lead to health problems like asthma, other respiratory-related health issues and many other diseases. Therefore, upholstery cleaning should be given a priority in every house. Cleaning the upholstery not only benefits the health but also the life of your furniture and its fabric. Carpets just like upholstery also need to be regularly cleaned. Carpets increases the beauty of the house but are also trap things like dirt, dust, sand, oily cooking residue, moisture etc. which can prove dangerous if ignored. Dust and dirt also decreases the life of the carpets.

How to Clean Stains on Upholstery
When it comes to fabric and upholstered furniture, you need to know that as soon as a spill or stain happens you need to clean it off immediately. From wine stains to ink stains, there will always be a way to clean your beautiful furniture.
The first thing to remember when cleaning fabric is not to rub the stain. The more you rub the stains the harder it is to get rid of. You also need to know that before you use any chemicals to wipe the stain away you must to do a spot test. Not all fabrics are the same and there could be the possibility of corroding the material.
When cleaning the material, be sure that you are using a cloth that has not been dyed. There is a possibility that the colour of the cloth will be released onto your furniture.
S - If you see this letter on your label, it means that you have to clean the fabric with dry solvent solution only. You can't add water to the mixture because the fabric might not react well with a wet solution.
S/W - This code means that you can use water and dry solvent solutions on furniture upholstery fabrics.
X - This letter isn't seen as much anymore but if you ever come across it, it means that you can vacuum the material only. It's best to take your furniture to a professional if you are uncertain what procedure to use when cleaning your furniture.

La Puente colony... House was so ecstatic when we released his final kitties last night, he hugged us 5 times! A friend of his saw our vanpool pickup in #irwindale and came up to ask what we were doing with the cats. He passed our flyer along to Jose who called immediately. One mama cat had 3 litters of males who were relentless in trying to mate. The yowling , the fighting, the spraying were awful... But when he saw mama cat all beat up, that did it. Until he got our flyer, he didn't know who to call or where to go. He said the shelter told him they would euthanize and rescues were full. He felt trapped. We hear this story weekly when arrive to #tnr. The difference we make is indescribable and it's all 12 of our volunteers who make that difference. There are not enough of us to cover all the people who are calling for help. Please consider starting a #tnrteam in your area to help people who are stuck. We all started there, but we will all finish on top. #juststart #dosomegood #tnrvolunteers #tnrarmy #tnradvocates #getupanddosomething (at La Puente, California)
