I’m notoriously bad at putting together playlists so I made some playlists. There is no rhyme or reason to the order so just play them on shuffle.

EDDY:

narcissism as a front for self consciousness, genuine narcissism, who am I?, redemptive girly pop, faggot, Discoooooo, dance hits, 90s reggae-ska-rock, bass and brass, sultry and corny

EDD:

overly earnest and poetic lyrics, no lyrics because they stress him out, theatrical classic rock, instrumental, orchestral, cerebral, baroque, independence/loneliness, inner rage, Mitski’s entire discography lol sorry

The 4th playlist on my spotify is called any ship of mine

I noticed that a lot of my ship playlists shared several songs, so out of curiosity I made a spreadsheet to tell me what the most common ones were- then I made a playlist with those songs. I actually might've told you about it before ^^'

I actually don't think I've listened to any other songs by him, but I like the feelings this one evokes. It's kind of a sad, melancholy vibe.

The only other knowledge I have of him is that he's responsible for the pink guy meme

Slow Dancing in the Dark is 1 the 5 songs that are present on 4 of my playlists. The spreadsheet itself goes over 8 playlists and 16 songs, but the any ship playlist only lists 9 songs.

No es que no le crea jajaj pero definitivamente no estaba soñando con una energía masculina, ruda, con el don de hacer bullying y al mínimo tiro dejar salir el sarcasmo, no estaba esperando alguien que prefiere quedarse en casa a dormir o ver series y películas, alguien que no le importa lo que come y que su comida favorita sea la chatarra, que no le guste el agua, que no le gusten las escalas y que por su puesto los vegetales no sean sus amigos, que amé la carne y que sea lo más fresa del pedazo. Diablos chico, por supuesto no estabas soñando con alguien como eso,no estabas soñando con alguien como yo.

Pero nos encontramos, nos sentimos como si lleváramos meses o años amándonos, es curioso, él dice que soñó conmigo, yo también soñé con él, uno o dos días antes de conocernos soñé que dormía abrazada a unos hombros anchos y me sentía muy cómoda... Qué curioso, no vi su rostro, no supe quién era, pero el sentimiento de pertenecer estaba impregnado en el sueño.

Pienso disfrutar lo que quieras darme, hasta donde podamos llegar y ser felices en compañía del otro. Y que mejor que recordarlo con esta canción.
