Double Headcannon time !!

Since Rochelle doesn't have much of a backstory (canonically), I'm taking that into account while making this. So I think she hasn't had really much experience with kids. Before the whole apocalypse went down, she wasn't dating, yada yada none of that, so first seeing you regress was confusing and worrying

🎥 At first, 100% mama bear. She's very concerned about your safety and making sure you can't get into anything that can hurt you.

🎥 Once she got used to it all, she definitely relaxed, but those 'what ifs' never left her mind

🎥 She still keeps a VERY close eye on you

🎥 Loves all regressors, doesn't really matter to her

🎥 Absolutely loves cuddling on the couch watching movies. If it's cold out best be known she's making hot chocolate (or any other drink of your choice if you don't like hot chocolate <3)

🎥 Play games? Yes, of course! Playing an absurd game of pretend? Well look at that. This blanket is your cape!

🎥 She plays with your hair. If it's long enough, she'll do things like different braids, pigtails. Even if it's short and you want it, she'll try, definitely doesn't turn out well

🎥 Pet names — sweetie, honey, munchkin, baby, etc.

🎥 Whenever you get in trouble she's the person to explain to you why what you did was wrong and how to do better. If you do it again she's gonna put you in time out

🎥 Much more patient than the others while you're regressed. She used to be in news, she has the patience of a saint

🎥 ... Won't hesitate to attitude you back though (Jokingly ofc, she'd never try and make you cry)

Regressor!Ellis Hcs

🛻 Definitely toddler regressor, cannot change my mind

🛻 3-5 99% of the time. The other 1% is somewhere else entirely

🛻 Hyperactive (Jumping off the walls at this point, let's be so real)

🛻 LOVES talking. Not like babbling. You will hear non-stop facts about things like a rock

🛻 Are these facts true? Of course they are (or so he'd like you to believe anyway)

🛻 Trucks and cars, hands down favourite toys. If he doesn't have one in his hands, there's something wrong (not really, he's probably just tired or sick)

🛻 When he gets sick, he'll try and act all tough and not need to be babied. All of a sudden, a warm blanket and snacks are waiting for him? Never mind, maybe he's just a liar

🛻 Indecisive. Like it gets real bad sometimes. Other days he's pretty independent and choosing many things for himself. He's a total flip-flop when it comes to this

🛻 His first ever involuntary regression after trying it was SCARY. He had a nightmare about what happened over the past few weeks and began to cry. He was trying to be a big kid and tough it out.

🛻 Once he calmed down he went to get some water, cause his throat was dry. Safe to say he dropped a glass cup on accident. It wasn't his fault! It was cups.

🛻 Still after that he was a bit rattled, not being able to hold things properly was NOT fun. He's still sometimes like that but it's more rare the more often he regresses

🛻 Holds onto your sleeve or pinky or just follows you around. If he likes you enough he'll follow you around. He's playing with blocks and your heading to the kitchen? Well those blocks weren't very interesting anyways

🛻 Oh you like this? So does he (he probably doesn't understand it half the time he just wants to be there)

🛻 May or may not be the reason for very silly rules around the house

🛻 On calm days where he isn't causing his own mayhem or accidental destruction, he's sitting on the floor colouring, watching TV. Overall just trying to be independent as possible.

🛻 Will not hesitate to try and get a treat before dinner or length the time before bedtime so he can play for a bit longer

🛻 ... may or may not have gotten in trouble for trying to manipulate people. It wasn't his fault, though, he swears!

🛻 Plays those insane games of pretend and when you do something he doesn't like, such as hitting his character with a spell (you giys were playing wizards and witches) he'l 100% be like "No, I dodged it and I ran away before you did anything else'

🛻 Not a morning person, especially when little. He just sucks it up (most days) because he gets to see his favourite person :D

🛻 When in the in-between stages of being big and little be zones out, bites at the tip of his finger (he's acting like he's chewing his nail but he's really just sucking on his thumb), fidgeting, spacing out

🛻 However, he doesn't really shut up, it gets worse when he's in the between space.

🛻 Has that somewhat obvious but somewhat not guilty looking face whenever he swears. He knows it's wrong but at the same time he's trying to be big

🛻 ... 9/10 times Nick busts him. The guy just KNOWS. Not cool :(

I loves these sm, making them feels even sillier, but it's so nice to have characters you can put your personality onto. RAHDHD

🎲 Good with any age regressor, just takes him a while to get used to you and the entire thing in general

🎲 Better with baby regressor since they don't do much but won't entirely mind talking care of a toddler regressor

🎲 Middle regressors, he'll find extremely hilarious if your trying to act edgy

🎲 Finds you to be entertaining a bit (lot) annoying but entertaining

🎲 If you're a baby regressor, he's not a blabbe encourager but not discourager either. He's just there like 🧍‍♂️ "Mhm... yup." In the most monotone voice ever (mostly in the beginning... or on accident)

🎲 He says he prefers not being a cg but won't admit that he's better off as one. He is just a bit stressed with that responsibility. It's a bit much sometimes

🎲 The first time seeing you regress was stressful (if you regressed negatively) He was 100% stressed out as to why you were crying like a baby. Not realizing fully that you were.

🎲 Once he realized it was a bit odd but he didn't say anything. They all suffered through a lot so using a coping mechanism like this was reasonable

🎲 After that, though, he was more observant of your behavior, making sure you were alright and weren't about to start sobbing like that again

🎲 He's an observant guy. Once he knows the signs of you regressing, you can't hide from him

🎲 Not the best at playing pretend, mainly cause he was never entirely allowed to. This world made him grow up fast

🎲 Tries to keep his bad mouth to himself, though he let's a few words slip

🎲 If you repeat him (Echolalia?), he'll have a hayday trying to explain to the others why you're saying the f-bomb or any other type of swear

🎲 Sort of regrets it. Not really, though. To him, it's funny, but he knows he should be a bit stricter

🎲 Able to put his foot down pretty easily. He knows what's at least somewhat good for you, and that definitely isn't candy before dinner... can't even convince him either :(

🎲 When your energetic and moving around. He just laid you down for a nap, and all of sudden, you're in the kitchen. God, it does give him a headache. Then he had to moves pots, pans, and cutlery

🎲 Safe to say under the sink cleaning supplies were taken away and everything is pretty much locked

🎲 he much more enjoys the days when all you want to do is just be peaceful, colouring, doing puzzles, watching TV

🎲 Not very good at reading in different characters voices. That's Ellis' job... but he guesses he can read to you if you reallyyy want

Honestly, I love stuff like this. Is it realistic. No. But it's fun, so who cares? I haven't seen anyone post about stuff like this. To be fair this is a scary zombie game so I get it but still makes me sad :(

I'll also probably do some fics on here, short and sweet stuff cause I can and no ones gonna stop me >:3

🛻 Toddler regressors are his favourite, especially the energetic ones. Equal amounts of energy bouncing off the two of you

🛻 Doesn't mean he won't mind you not being energetic or quiet. He'll just be the energetic one regardless

🛻 100% the fun uncle / older brother

🛻 At first especially, he made you cry more times then he'd like to admit. He goes too far or too intense with either a game or a joke and it spirals

🛻 If it's nice out he'll get you up early just so you two can go run around in a field. Since barely anyone's awake, no one going to care

🛻 Alternatively, just sitting in said field if you don't want to run around.

🛻 Will be getting you outdoors as much as the weather and you'll allow him. It's stuffy and crowded in their shared home (with 5 people, holy...)

🛻 Gets upset when seeing you with someone else. Like what? Your HIS baby

🛻 Puts his hat on your head and pushes it down just enough to cover your eyes

🛻 Pinches your cheeks randomly

🛻 Causing mayhem with him? You're his favourite now... as if you weren't already

🛻 Somewhat of a pushover. I mean.... he wants a snack too and having a little bit wouldn't hurt. Still, he knows he can't give you EVERYTHING even if he wants to

🛻 Compared to the others, if you have something you shouldn't, it's way easier for him to get it away from you because he's more trustworthy. He just wants to see it, and of course, he'll give it back! (He doesn't)

🛻 Don't hesitate to bother him. If it's in the middle of the night, he's barely had any sleep but you're scared? He'd rather you wake him up then you staying alone he doesn't want you to feel like that, ever.

🎲 Ellis most likely suggested him to do it. Definitely wasn't a happy camper with that suggestion

🎲 Gave it a try and was still not happy but it was worth it in the end. It made him less stressed

🎲 (Sad one) Regresses mostly negatively and can't help it

🎲 Says he's older then he actually is. It's very obvious with certain actions though.

🎲 Toddler regressor (?) Not very sure honestly.

🎲 Either goes mute or VERY quiet. He's just watching Ellis bring choas to the household.

🎲 Prefers to be lying on the couch, wrapped around in a blanket leaning against you. Comfort is one thing he CRAVES

🎲 Sick Nick? He's not getting out of bed, please get him some snacks and a warm drink to make him feel better!

🎲 Better manipulater then Ellis. When both of then are little and Nick is in the mood, he'll 100% get them extra snacks. All of sudden their stomaches hurt... wonder why

🎲 ...Does get frustrated at said puzzles often because why is Ellis trying to help him and not doing it in the order he was thinking of??? (He was mute the entire day, glaring at everything that moved)

🎲 Once he has his mind on something he's going to do it. Don't go into the cupboards? The wind opened them. Why are things disorganized? He has NO idea. No snacks until dinner. Now the pantry is open. Can't go outside cause there bad weather? Well... he tried getting out before getting caught.

🎲 ...Can't blame him... right?

🎲 Not very big with stuffed animals but that shabby blanket that should get washed, but he refuses to? Yeah. That's his comfort item

🎲 Has trouble sleeping

🎲 LOVES having his hair being played with. Best way to help him go for a nap or to bed. Even calming him down... if you can keep him in your arms long enough to do that.

🎲 A cuddle bug but hates physical affection. Like he can touch you, but you cannot touch him. It gets worse when he's in a bad mood, like how DARE you

🎥 Rochelle and Nick are good cgs and get along pretty well. This makes it easy for them to take care of Ellis

🎲 Nick notices when Ellis is getting that 'inbeteern' mindset and will nudge Rochelle to silently tell her

🛻 Rochelle is mire of the sweet talker between the two

🎥 Ellis starts randomly crying? Rochelle is immediately on it, comforting him and all that. On the hand Nick is like a towel boy, letting Rochelle do the work at the moment. She's way more empathetic and sympathetic then he'll ever be

🎲 ... Getting Ellis' toy cars and what not but the little keeps knocking them off the couch. This cycle continued until Ellis completely got distracted on why he was crying and more busy knocking the toys off.

🛻 Ellis is always everywhere but no where at once, two sets of eyes on him is a good thing, means less trouble... most of the time

🎥 They've all seen Cars at least a thousand times but Ellis insists on watching "Just one more time"

🎲 Easiest way for them to get Ellis to calm down and be still? Board games. Between the three it (somehow) always gets heated, (only in a fun, joking way though)

🛻 Rochelle/Nick is sick or not feeling well? Little Ellis will use his totally real doctor degree to help them get better (He just sorta yaps instead of doing anything productive)

🎥 Waking up early to go on a walk (Per Ellis constant requests) Nick is making sure the little doesn't run off by grabbing the back of his shirt like a cat with the scruff. Either that or Rochelle is holding onto his wrist or arm. They can't afford Ellis running sound, especially so early in the morning

🎲 Pillow forts are Nick specialty. He can make it pretty much structurally sound. Meanwhile, Ellis and Rochelle are inside, giggling and talking about nothing in particular.

🛻 Overall, they love little Ellis, a bit annoying and hyperactive but he's THEIR kid. No one can change their mind about that
