Brickellia eupatorioides previously comprised a number of sub-taxa that were reclassified as full species in a 2022 paper (PDF). Among these, only B. eupatorioides (sensu stricto) and and the new species B. macranthra (known as B. eupatorioides var. texana before) are found in the county where Plano is located. As outlined in the paper, examining the phyllaries and counting the florets are how to distinguish the two from each other, but I’m not good enough to see those differences after the plant has gone to seed. As the name suggests, Texas false boneset (B. macranthra) is endemic mostly to Texas and Oklahoma, whereas false boneset (B. eupatorioides) can be found throughout the eastern half of the United States.

Again, idc If some demons are against Diavolo rulling because they're a faceless mob, they may as well not exist.

I think that even If you wanted the look of "AI/Devildom technology/magic gone bad" and still have everything in Meowcao be powered by the Three-Legged Crow technology, you could have used Crowe like they did in S3, Devildom Alexa Is scarier AND more threatening than those 3 mascots, and less annoying because they really feel silly. I’m, like, irrationally obsessed with these sepals.

One peculiar characteristic of Oenothera flowers is the tendency for their sepals to fuse at the tips, forming a pennant to one side of the stem. And I think the ones in this particular patch have more swag than usual. Instead of just plain green, these are injected with yellow (chartreuse?) and bordered with sharp red stripes so they really stand out. It’s like someone who is traditional enough to wear regimental ties yet chic enough to toss them insouciantly to one side. Oh, so good.
