Could I request some random headcanons for William with a s/o who's always cheery around him but not so cheery around others? Sorry if it sounds a bit specific lol I've never requested something to anyone before I don't really know how it works😅

Does it really make any difference to him how they behave…? They’re an adult person with free will, they can act how they please. Even if that happens to be acting in a rather odd way. Though, he does suppose that many people behave differently with their lover than with anyone else. (Name) just happens to be an extreme case, as far as he’s concerned.

He has to admit (even if just to himself) that he likes to see their smile. And secretly, he actually feels proud that they typically only smile around him. Of course he wants them to be happy as much as possible, but, well… it’s a point of happiness for him that they seem to be happiest when they’re with him. He doesn’t get many happy things nowadays, so it’s nice to have one big thing which makes him happy, regardless of whether or not he expresses that joy openly.

Having seen the people he works with, he can say he doesn’t blame his beloved for not being cheery around those people in particular. Grell is a hindrance and just means extra paperwork because they never do their job, Ronald’s carefree personality clashes with the very idea of being a Reaper, and Othello… well, Othello isn’t so bad, perhaps because he tends to keep to himself and do his work. It’s a miracle William can tolerate his coworkers; he certainly doesn’t expect his S/O to do the same. He’d be surprised if they were sunshine and smiles around any of the Reapers he works with.

Their cheerfulness is vaguely infectious. If William isn’t having a good day, the simple sight of (Name) being glad to see him can brighten it. He frequently greets them with a kiss and a murmur of, “And so the clouds part.” Say what you like about him, he can be romantic when the moment calls for it. Whatever else might be true, he’s very thankful to have them in his life.

… He plays dirty and sics their sour disposition on people as a punishment. For some reason, just having (Name) talk to them with that less than cheery face is intimidating. Even if they’re not a Reaper, he uses it to his advantage. If Grell didn’t fill out all their reports and dot all the I’s and cross all the T’s the previous day, William sends his darling to ‘politely remind’ them to get it done. If Ronald forgot to submit the proper paperwork to modify his Death Scythe and already did the modifications, (Name) will be off to badger him to submit it “or else, Ronnie.” William, for his part, pats himself on the back for this strategy ― it’s almost unfairly effective in making sure things get done.

my theory for this is that Alois is sitting somewhere with his ears all flat ("airplane mode") to show he is pissed off to see him there. Sebastian thinks its funny and calls the boy a little fussy one when he gets hissed at. Doesn't mind getting bit either. Alois loves to see Ciel tho and keeps trying to play with him with even if he gets sneezed at.

When they get back home, Alois pouts and growls in his corner for hours, his servants can't approach him. How dare you bringing whoever in MY HOUSE.

I don’t know if you’re an anime fan but I have a proposition for you.

Grelltaker.

But like. Mostly what they tried setting up for UT in season 1 (it’s a dynamic I actually love. It’s a nice change from the manga so I think Grelltaker and Seblaude are like. The only good things that came out of the non-canon parts of the anime *looks at the Double Charles knockoffs nervously* … I like Undertaker as this retired reaper that helps out sometimes if Will asks nicely. Plus Grelle wearing UT’s robes)

I didn’t ask this to be like “GRELLTAKER” (genuinely I was just curious) but my 11:30AM brain is like… trying to get out of speedwriting the rest of this fucking Grelle fic (shameless self promotion. I know. How ghastly.)

Personally Grelliam doesn’t do it for me (I imagine him as aroace and I prefer them as eventual middle aged work friends who like hangout maturely. Like pieces of cheddar /jk), but might I suggest, for a crack idea ofc: Sebastian and Will.

well most of my ships are just grell and other kuro ladies(grellrin, grell and nina, etc) so thats a bit of a toughie to answer. i am a recovering will hater so grelliam has been growing on me. OH eric and alan!! theyre so gay its adorable. hmmmmmm................ its hard for me to ship sebastian with anyone as i cant really see someone like him in a relationship.... lizzie and sullivan is a ship ive seen a little of recently and i think the concept of it is very cute. like "hey ciel can i date your fiance" hehe. thats all my brain can pour out rn, ty for the ask!!! ^^
