For my search I have found a bunch of games with wlw characters (none as gpod as LS tho-) unfortunately I've had bad luck with picking good games that last apart from Choices Stories You Play (most say it won't make it a few more years. My stubborn faith is still holding up tho) and Romance Club (it's really f-ing good apart from having problems with trying to find it bc it says "no connection")

I've found Wheres Tess (that unfortunately discontinued. I think it got deleted from the app store?)

Couple UP! (i dont even know bc the developers were all in Ukraine, Kyvi. Hope they're OK)

And Love Eden (takes kinda long to update with new content but it's worth the wait)

Thankfully all that life test on a good highway to memory lane! Rn is mostly recovery and learning how to walk again

I myself have been taking advantage of the fact that I can't walk at the moment (screw cancer) byyyy finding interactive novels that at least hold a candle to the beauty that was Lovestruck. I can safely say no game will ever be like it again-

Well, as far as updates go... I've graduated! 🥳 It still doesn't feel real, and the job hunt hasn't been great, but I'm happy and at peace. I can finally catch up on a lot of things 😅 it's finally time to binge watch Betty La Fea!

Earlier this morning, Kylie Blue’s team released a statement on her behalf- the first time this situation has been addressed by the Blue camp. The statement reads:

The relationship between Kylie Blue and Levi Astor came to an end a couple of weeks ago. What remained post the breakup was a great amount of love and respect on Kylie’s end of things- but clearly Levi did not feel the same. His heinous actions at the 2020 Summerscape Festival in Rio were sourced upon nothing but lies and deceit- and an attempt to make Kylie look bad for his own personal gain.  The claims were outlandish as Blue and Duffy have barely spoken in the past 4 years, on top of the fact that Levi himself has been the driving wedge in the relationship. She was shocked and Blindsided by how quickly he turned against her and now only asks the focus be returned to where it should be. Her music.

Was Levi just lying? Or does this read as an attempt to curb the publics interpretation of the situation? WH will keep everyone posted.

so for some reason me and @adhdmtodd​ talk about fantasy genetics quite a lot and we got on the subject of half-elves. under the readmore is a rambling about various ways genetics could work in the world of dungeons and dragons.

the question of whether they would be sterile or not came up and i think it depends on chromosome counts, so of course i decided “it is now my duty to assign chromosome numbers to various playable races in the world of dnd”

so, here are the random numbers i assigned to various races

42 - kenku, kobald, tabaxi, aarakocra 44 - dragonborn, lizardfolk, orcs, genasi 46 - humans, elves, aasimar 48 - tieflings, halflings, goliaths, gnomes, dwarves

this means that, for example, a half-gnome/half-dwarf would be fertile because they would have 48 chromosomes. only pairings between those in the same number group would produce viable offspring.

a half-human/half-orc, however, would have 45 chromosomes, and would be sterile due to that.

on a similar subject, the way i think would be best to pass down genetics like that would be to take the ability scores given and set up a punnet square with them. for example!

to chose a result, you would assign each a number 1-4, and then roll a d4.

for choosing stats for a child of two subraces, like a wood elf and a high elf, its obviously not great science, but ive decided that i’ll be flipping a coin to decide which parent’s ability bonuses they inherit.
