Finally got to drawing the season 2 characters

I’ve had this idea for a very long time but never got to it until now

The only reason Sylvie and Valentina are ??? is because I don’t fully ship them and I had no one else for their slot

So when Vol 9 was airing, I saved this above gif of Weiss looking at the Rusted Knight. It's short and quick, but I always thought it was an interesting pose they did for her. Like, look at how the rest of her team looks:

Ruby and Yang are surprised with Yang looking a bit more surprised. Blake is beside herself to be meeting another character, which given she's a book lover and had more or less been taking the lead throughout their Ever After journey, it would be more understandable for her to geek out over meeting him. Her stance almost mirrors Weiss' stance but not nearly as much. Her hands are closer to her waist compared to Weiss', which are raised up near her breast.

So what am I implying from this? The Rusted Knight was Weiss' fictional crush growing up.

Think about it. When Weiss was listing off two other characters back in Episode 4 “A Cat Most Curious," she named Lively Carpenter and the Rusted Knight. She described the Carpenter as "sweet" and Rusted Knight as "handsome." Now, one could make the argument that she only referred to each as "one" but I'm going based on the order she had listed them. So let's think about it. She described the Carpenter with a personality trait but described the Knight by a physical attribute. Now, we can assume The Girl Who Fell Through the World is like its real-world counterparts, Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass, and that it has illustrations. Yet I don't think the Jaune was ever illustrated since, while the girls might not have recognized him prior to meeting him, they might have years later since they IMMEDIATELY recognized him upon meeting in the Ever After. Oh the Rusted Knight most certainly would have been drawn, just not Jaune. So Weiss describing him as handsome is something she had to take the word of from the author and believed. I wonder if she ever imagined what he looked like under the armor? Did she have her own vision of him?

You know, we learned back in Volume 2's “Extracurricular” that Weiss has been pursued by suitors because of her last name, similar to her father marrying her mother. I no doubt believe that's why Weiss is picky about dating, and why she was so disinterested in Jaune's attempts. She saw how her father treated her mother, and vehemently does NOT want that for her life. I think, though, she may also be slightly swayed by her crush on the Rusted Knight. He was described as handsome by Lewis and didn't seem to be painted in a bad light. Maybe his depiction of a good, honest man influenced her taste. It's all just head canons, but an interview with Weiss' VA Kara a major White Knight supporter said that Weiss' type is someone who is mature and stepping up for other people. Is it possible some of this came from the Rusted Knight? He was much older than Alyx and Lewis, and since he hailed from Remnant, he wasn't zany like the Ever Afterans, making him mature. Also, he was helpful and was almost like a guide for the group up until Alyx poisoned him. That could be seen as him stepping up, especially since many of the Ever Afterans, while not evil, may not have been as helpful as him or the Cat who was just using the two humans to get out of the Ever After.

I'm going to stop there because I didn't mean for this to get out of hand. I was intending to just post this gif and do a quick little "hehe, look who has a crush" and somehow that spiraled out of control.

Anyway, Vol 9 has been over for a while, Weiss and Jaune have grown emotionally and in their relationship, and I'm curious to see what will come now that RWBY's moving to Viz Media.

/ theorycrafting my ocs in dnd builds which ive done before but i grasp the game more now and its funny how many monks i have, xaos is kensei samurai, kyra is assassin shadow monk (Although her having one of his classes makes sense as shes his protege), takun could be either an unarmed fighter (battlemaster maybe?) or monk with a single level in warlock to represent the demon in him, and even shi has a background in martial arts being a mercy monk with most levels in cleric

Their parents think the two of them are friends. Leo regularly gets chided by her mom for saying she hates Kyra after finding out Kyra’s comatose and yet still immediately goes to visit her in the hospital. Kyra bridal carries Leo often. The two of them argue so much our dm has to tell Lylt and I to shut up. They break into people’s offices to find clues together. They hate each others guts. Everyone thinks they’re in love. They cannot stand being in the same vicinity and yet Leo cannot conceive of a world without Kyra in it. She is referred to as ‘Kyra’s Leo’. They’re madly in love and destined to be the one to kill the other.

I love how her grand adventure is really turning out to be like that because of how many jobs- I mean side quests she had to do and hardships to endure before finally landing on a stable(??) job as a Knight (she snuck in and somehow got it but hey, a job👏 is a job👏) maybe Ariya might be able to help her be a legally(??) official Knight and hide her real identity once she brings her family to justice 👀👀

(But to answer the women not being allowed to be knights is well...depending on when I'll release the kingdom descriptions, some kingdoms might not allow women to be knights😔😔) BUT THE GOOD NEWS IS, the kingdom where Shin and Ariya resides and some other who also wish to reside there, allows women to be knights 🥰🫶✨

Moving on...I LOVE SIYUN'S AND SIR DUDE'S DYMANIC, RIP TO AZUL AGAIN HELPP The chaos they would bring and headaches to Azul's life 😭😭 (maybe Sir Dudeman can join Ariya and Siyun's sparring sessions too 🤩👀)

Sir Dudeman Guy (Manly-Male Lad III)

An eccentric knight who appeared out of thin air. As strange as he is, he is undeniably an oustanding knight of great skill and talent. Though, he could stand to have more respect.

His disregard for differing social standings and blatant disrespect for the nobles and other such persons of high status has made him a controversial figure in high society— but because of his outstanding skills and competancy as a knight, he faces little reprocussions for his offensive behavior. Well, other than getting plenty of dirty looks and constant gossip behind his back.

Yeah no this is just Kyra pretending to be male knight just because I thought it’d be really really funny

Lore / Backstory !!

Once upon a time, Kyra lived in a kingdom far, far away as the youngest princess and crown jewel of said kingdom. While she was sought after by many for her status and beauty, she was eventually promised to a duke.

On the day of her wedding, she ran away, leaving the duke at the altar. (Lmfaoo L😂)

During her travels (or her “grand adventures”, as she likes to call it), she took up a lot of odd jobs. Assisting travelling merchants, fishing, carpentry— she was even a bard at some point! (Well, thats only because she started a fight at a tavern and had no money to compensate the damages done that was totally her fault)

And that isn’t all of them. Honestly, she just keeps trying her hand at every job there is whether its on purpose or not 💔

So, it was kind of no surprise that she’d turn to taking on knighthood at some point. Though, when she did try to sign up she did get turned away at first. (Assuming women weren’t allowed to be knights in this AU … sobs …)

She did sneak in anyways, she never did have a good reason why she wanted to be a knight so badly other than “it looked cool”, but luckily for her she was really good at it and got away with sneaking in some how💔

Present Time !

Now that she— or shall I say, Sir Dudeman, officially became a knight, he was pretty happy with himself!! Part of her didn’t expect to get away with it.

Buut, she didn’t expect knighthood to be so… Boring. Atleast, boring most of the time. Dont get her wrong she ADORES her new job!! Its super fun, but lately all they do is patrol around, stuff like that. So, she got bored, naturally.

When she overheard a certain noble being accused of embezzlement, and a knight being dispatched to keep an eye on said noble— she decided she wanted in on it too. And kind of just. Dispatched herself and came along.

Welcoming herself into House Ashengrotto under the guise that she was sent there under official orders, Sir Dudeman has found amusement in hanging around Azul, the head butler Jade, head chef Floyd, and Sir Siyun.

Shes well aware that Azul does NOT like her. She frankly does not care, and while she is there for her own amusement she does still keep an eye on him regardless. After all, she is still a knight!

She kind of treated it as another new adventure, thinking she could investigate and all that !! (And she totally does behind their backs, just when shes bored with babysitting Azul)

I like to think that no one can tell shes a woman. She forces her voice and her helmet muffles it enough to sound somewhat believable, plus she never takes off her helmet or armor no matter what time of day it is— so, theres a lot of curiosity surrounding Sir Dudeman being so mysterious despite being so weird HAHA

Yeah her name is really really obvious but at the same time its so absolutely ridiculous that it could never be an actual cover name… Except it is. And it works only because of how absurd it is.

She has had to deal with Jade and Floyd specifically since they’re both menaces and want to cause her problems 💗 but so far, they have yet to succeed in stealing her helmet or catching a peek of her underneath it. She kinda thinks its funny, but she isn’t risking her new job as a knight to be taken from her.

(Notable) Relationships !

Lady Ariya

Kyra knows very well how harsh and selfish the world of nobility can be. And it is because of that, that she can feel a great amount of sympathy towards Lady Ariya and her predicament. Though she does believe with her drive she can clear her family’s name and it is an incredibly noble cause— she also knows that it takes a lot of courage, patience and tact when it comes to traversing politics such as this.

She does wish she can be more open with her and lend a word of advice from her own experiences, but she knows that would mean risking her own job as a knight.

From time to time she does sometimes lend her advice, though its pretty subtle and sudden. And she never gets into full detail on what she means. So it all sounds pretty nonsensical a lot of the time 😭

Honestly? She pities them...

While she cannot relate to this sudden change they must have experienced - she does know how brutal royal life is. From the long, tedious lectures and learnings one must partake to even begin to be a "decent royal figure", to the searing gazes of the nobility, Kyra knows very well how tiring it all is. And so, she pities Prince Shin a great amount.

Though she does not know for sure if Shin truly feels that way... She does know the pressures that come with being royalty.

She has considered suggesting to them to run away like she did, but that feels like overstepping and while she does mean well— she’ll leave it all up to their highness. She only hopes that they’ll handle it all well, and she’ll be silently rooting them on from the sidelines.

After all, perhaps they are stronger than she ever was. And for that, they have her utmost respect.

Co-workers!! And now partners apparently, with their … “shared” job to watch over Azul. She trusts Siyun a great amount, and has let her guard around them more times than she realizes 😭 which is also why …

…Siyun is the only one (currently) to have seen her without her helmet. LMFAOO 😭😭😭 (she literally got on her knees and BEGGED for them to not say anything bcs she rlly likes her new job 💔 bro does not want to go back to fishing save her)

Azul’s biggest headache in every universe. Someone FREE HIM 💔 he will never be rid of Siyun and Kyra like ever they haunt him in every timeline

The head chef of the Ashengrotto House has found an interest in the knight. Though at first, he didnt really care much and only thought it was funny Azul was getting monitored and basically babysat— then he heard his name.

Theres no way. Thats actually hilarious. Floyd does NOT stop making fun of Sir Dudeman’s name💔 and continues to always bother him after slowly realizing he never takes off his helmet.

Both curious and incredibly amused with him. A weirdo knight with an even weirder name??? Oh this is hilarious and hes having the time of his LIFE messing w him …

Slowly they do become more of a pair, Sir Dudeman finding herself becoming more and more fond of him because she thinks Floyd is rlly silly and unlike anyone shes ever met before. Lowkey begins to forget her (self assigned) mission with Azul but oh well!

Your marriage to Cregan had been… a wild ride, from both of you being widowed and happen to have children from previous marriages, it was quite the blessing of the Gods that both of your children had easily bonded with one another.

Your sons, older than three and ten, Aeryn and Daemion being the youngest had grown into tough boys, though will take the first chance they would get to butt heads together if given a chance, from where you could only let out an exasperated sigh at.

However, they had seemed to take upon their late father, as they were skilled in swordsmanship, often pairing together to train against other knights. 

Not only that, you have seen how these two boys would vye for the praise of their mother, after the loss of their father in which you were absolutely devastated with, they had now made themselves to look out for you despite their growing tasks and responsibilities, in which you were grateful for, knowing you had raised these children right. 

Now onto Cregan, he had also been widowed, left behind with children of his own as his first wife had died of childbirth, his now eldest Rickon Stark, and his youngest, Brandon Stark. Cregan deep within himself knew the life he had wished to live, Winterfell’s keep to be filled with sounds of his family, of his heirs and his wife by his side, having lived through many winters strong. 

And that’s when he was caught at the first sight of you trying to reign in your two boys from bickering, the daughter of Rhaenyra Targaryen, who had been proposed to marry him, the Lord Cregan Stark of Winterfell. 

Fast forward many moons, your sons had immediately bonded with Cregan’s, them being of around the same age a huge aided factor while you had relocated to Winterfell. At first, you were intimidated by Cregan’s presence, or mostly with the thought of loving again, that you had a difficult time opening up to your new husband, and Cregan felt the same, understanding that you both had been recovering from being widowed.

Surely in time, love began to blossom with the two of you, and that soon you had borne twins. Not just any twins, they were two of only your precious girls.

There was Kyra, taking after his father’s Stark features, hair as dark as chestnut brown, eyes matching Cregan’s, with its own tenderness to them. Then was Daena, taking after your Targaryen features, hair as platinum white, eyes of purple, matching your fiery gaze. 

Cregan loved both of them, possibly more than his boys yet he would not dare to voice such a thing. To add to it, Aerys, Daemion, Rickon, and Brandon would treat their only twin sisters the best, except for the brotherly teasing here and there. 

As Kyra and Daena grew, you would be by their side, supplying their curiosity for the world. Cregan often liked to take your sons, with Aerys and Daemion considering Cregan as their second father, and his own out of Winterfell often to bond over hunting or yet taking trips to the Wall where Cregan often reminded them of the importance of responsibility and duty, telling them tales of the North. 

And when they’ve come home, Cregan had always sought you first, greeting you with a tight embrace, lips finding yours, before he would subtly lean in your ear due to his towering size, murmuring of how he’d like to properly reconnect with you later at night, sending your cheeks to fill with heat, a hand coming to smack at his furs, making him chuckle deeply, looking at you with mirth in his eyes that you’ve missed to see the days he was gone. 

Then he would scout for his twin daughters after he shrugs off his cloak and armour, his sheer strength allowing him to lift both your growing toddlers in both his arms, your girls laughing and toying with Cregan’s hair and his growing stubble. 

In turn you would be then greeted by your sons, with you tutting as you messed about them, inspecting if they had any signs of strain or hurt on them, in which they grumble and complain that they were old enough to take care of themselves, but in secret loving the affection from their mother as they boasts about what they had did in their journey. 

“Thus Rickon remains unscathed after wrangling a boar with his own bare hands!” Aeryn nonchalantly commended as he leaned against the wall, crossing his arms with a smirk as he just finished getting inspected by you. Your hands froze on Daemion’s cheeks, leading them to be squashed in your hold, Daemion only looking back and forth at his mother and siblings whilst Rickon looked close enough to smack Aeryn on the head. Aeryn then realized his mistake as his chuckle died down and his eyes widened. 

Snapping your gaze to Rickon who was now sheepishly grinning but glaring at Aeryn, you were about to open your mouth when Cregan rounded, letting your daughters finally escape from his loving grasp to bother their brothers. 

“Ah, do not worry, wife, it was just a test of strength, and the boar was a mere size of a fawn at most!” Cregan said, approaching to pat his eldest Rickon on the shoulder. You sighed in relief, letting go of Daemion after a squeeze to his shoulders. “Should have seen him wrestle with it in the mud, it was unbelievable!” Daemion added. 

You looked at Cregan who only shrugged, sporting the same boyish grin you grew to love as he approached you from behind, wrapping his arms around you in which your sons now busied themselves with their little sisters, boasting their tales and trinkets they had bought for them, their voices filling the room. 

A warmth flooded within you, relaxing back into Cregan’s chest as he took in the familiar scent of you, pressing his nose against the side of your head, making you close your eyes, hands resting atop his arms as you turned your head to smile at him. “Do they ever grow tired?” You wonder.

A chuckle, “I do not think so, my wife. Not if there’s another one to follow.” He whispered playfully, rough palm resting atop your stomach through your dress.

-So in this au Rory is an outcasted prince who now lives deep in the forest of a neighboring kingdom. Many merely knew him as “The Witch”.

-Ace is a young knight who, albeit cocky, wants to prove himself. Yet that determination makes him brash at times.

-Rory sold a spell to the princess of this kingdom, with it she would be able to change aspects of her appearance and live a normal life yet the spell will break when someone figures out her identity.

-Him and Ace first meet when Ace interrogates him about the missing princess but Rory has no idea where she went afterwards. He explained that all he did was sell the spell to her except Ace didn’t believe that. He believed that Rory knew exactly where she was.

-Thus their adventure starts, Ace dragging a very discontent Rory across the lands and to various villages to find this princess. 

-Little did they know that the princess was perfectly safe and having the time of her life exploring with the prince of a seaside kingdom. 

-Because of Rory’s nickname, not many people were thrilled to see him come into their towns, especially when they saw he was being escorted by a knight. What he didn’t expect though was for Ace to defend him and even protect him when other guards would get physical. 

-When he asked about it, Ace only responded that he needs Rory to help him find the princess. Rory could tell that there was more meaning to his words but he never pressed for a deeper answer. 

-During their travels they both gradually shared more about their lives with each other. One night while they were camping Rory finally told him about his banishment. 

-“It’s not fair Ace! I was banished for telling my people the truth about the royal family and exposed their cruelty to those below them. It was never about me learning to brew potions and honing ancient arts. It was always the hierarchy.” 

-Ace never had a reply. Instead he stayed and listened to Rory’s frustrations. Ace realized that this was probably the first time in a long time that someone didn’t view Rory as some mysterious creature but, a human. A person. 

-Days passed and they still had no luck with finding the princess. Calling it done, they finally returned to their home. 

-As a final request, Ace asked Rory to come with him to the palace. Obviously it was an insane idea considering everyone blamed him but Ace persisted, saying that people need to see not the witch, but Rory. 

-Pushing down the worry, he went. Along the way he realized that he would follow Ace anywhere since he knew he would protect him. 

-When they arrived at the palace they were surprised to see that the princess returned, even more surprised to see that she linked arms with the prince who found her. When the princess saw Rory she grabbed him and pulled him into a tight hug. Thanking him for helping her have a wonderful adventure. 

-All while Ace was trying to convince the king and queen that Rory was a mere farmer and definitely not the feared witch.

Beast Of Burden - Chapter 4

Kallixenia can't seem to get through to the gods, and her friends have other things on their minds.

Kallixenia is unsure if she's actually meant to speak with the gods, or if the High Cleric's instructions were more… metaphorical, and she's just supposed to think on it herself until something comes to her.

Either way, she spends her day in meditation. Sits alone in a room lit by dim candlelight, breathes the scented ritual smoke of a censer. Contemplates her connection to the gods, what all her oaths mean to her; what her defining oath as a knight on the Path of the Bulwark specifically means to her, and how it's very important to her but also maybe the ability granted by it isn't quite what she needs and could she maybe have something else? Something equally protective but less sacrificial?

And then she gets stressed out and anxious and has to recenter herself, and she comes no closer to getting an answer from anywhere.

"There's so much to catch you up on, I don't even know where to start!" Says Pherusa, between mouthfuls of food. "Crisa has a squire now. Scrawny little kid, can barely even carry her sword. Follows her like a lost puppy and hangs off her every word."

"Aww, cute." Kallixenia coos.

"Kleo got her wings!" Says Athis. "She's out helping rebuild some village out west. Dragon attack, I think."

"She was always handy." Kallixenia says. "Path of the Hammer, then?"

"You know, I've always thought it was silly that they still use swords after taking that one."

"You can't use a Warhammer to fix things, Athis. It'd be unwieldy." Nephele chides.

"They don't have to use one hammer for everything. It'd just be more fitting, don't you think?"

Nephele ignores her. "Kyra got her wings too. Went Bulwark, like you did." She says, just a touch of sorrow in her voice.

Lunaeris' words echo in Kallixenia's mind: "It's barbaric, it's ghoulish, I don't think anyone should be that kind of paladin."

"Well… Good for her, right?" She says, and her friends awkwardly nod and mumble in agreement. "…Right?"

Athis shrugs. "She's off babysitting some preteen prince. I don't know if I'd call it good, but… it's what she chose."

Kallixenia pushes the remnants of her meal around her plate with a fork. She's already told the High Cleric, so surely there's no harm in talking about it with them, right?

"It's… It's a little grim, isn't it?" She says, voice hushed. Her friends exchange meaningful glances, then lean in to continue the conversation more quietly. Pherusa gently takes her hand.

"…We all face our share of danger, in our duties." She says. "But… It's a little grim, yes."

"It's creepy." Nephele whispers, and Athis punches her in the shoulder. "What? It is! Like you're expected to die."

"It's what she wants." Athis hisses, before looking to Kallixenia. "It is what you want, yes?"

"Yes! Maybe. I don't know. I-I still believe in the oath. I want to protect people! Just- It is like we're expected to die, isn't it? Wouldn't I be able to protect people better if the oath did something else?" She says, with a pleading look.

"People, plural, yes. But it's…" Pherusa trails off.

"It's more lucrative to make the people who can pay for it completely untouchable." Nephele grumbles, and Athis punches her in the shoulder again. "Stop punching me for being right!" She whines.

"You're being a dick."

"No, it's- She is right. Lunaeris said the same." Kallixenia says, and her friends relax a bit.

"Oh." Athis says. "Oh! Wait- She's asking this?"

"Gods' sake Kalliexenia…" Pherusa groans.

"What?"

"Thought this was a 'getting out of dying for my terrible wife' conversation." Nephele says, leaning back and taking a swig of ale.

"What? No! This is all her idea! No! She's wonderful!"

"So… you're not bound to her?" Pherusa asks.

"No! Not since before the wedding."

"Then… what's the problem?"

Kallixenia furrows her brow. "Well, I should be, right?"

Nephele and Athis shrug.

"Why?"

"If she doesn't care, then… who cares?"

"Me? The gods?" Says Kallixenia, exasperated.

"If the gods cared you wouldn't have your wings." Nephele argues. "So you aren't magically bound to die for her. Protect her the normal way like everyone else."

"But I don't want to do it the normal way! I want to do it the paladin way!"

"Yeah, so, swing your sword around. Smite evil." Athis says.

"A paladin's defining oath defines them, Athis!" Kallixenia whines. "We don't just swing swords around! We're bound to a higher power!"

"Look- Ooh, Achaia's here! Achaia!" Pherusa calls out, and that's the end of that topic of conversation.

Kallixenia sighs. Her battle-sisters have her back, but they don't fully understand what she wants. Which is fair- she also isn't sure what she wants. She wants a proper paladin oath, she wants the oath she already has, she just wants it… different. Like a split, where she gets the Bulwark Oath but the Hammer powers. Then she could bless buildings and armor and things, that should surely still count as dedicating her life to protecting others.

Kind of.

Achaia sits down beside her and Pherusa moves to the other side of the table, so that her and Athis and Nephele can all stare at the two of them together.

"…What?" Kallixenia asks.

"Princesses. Spill."

"Princess Tephysea is very busy managing her duchy." Achaia says innocently. "I'm sure the details would bore you."

"Princess Lunaeris is making quite a name for herself, adventuring." Kallixenia says, matching her tone.

Nephele rolls her eyes. "They think themselves funny." She says. "Come onnnn. Princesses."

"There's nothin' to tell." Achaia insists, into her mug.

"Okay, liar." Says Pherusa. "Kallixenia, you're married to yours, come on then."

"I haven't the slightest idea what you're asking me, Pherusa."

"You both suck." Says Athis. "Achaia, you made a move on her or what?"

"A paladin does not make moves on-"

Achaia is cut off before she can finish as the three of them point at Kallixenia.

"…Well, maybe I'm-"

"If Kallixenia didn't stick to that I don't for a second believe you did." Says Athis.

"There were… extenuating circumstances?" Kallixenia offers, in defence of her honor.

"We'll get back to that." Says Pherusa. "Achaia. You and the Princess are inseparable for half the wedding and then not two weeks go by and she's asking after your services. For fuck's sake, give us something."

Achaia rolls her eyes and checks her surroundings. "Alright, fine." She whispers. "We've been enjoying eachother's company. What of it?"

"Enjoying how?"

"Very secretly."

"You two fucking?" Asks Nephele.

"Don't be crude." Achaia grumbles.

"She's dodging the question!" Athis squeals excitedly. "Tell us everything!"

"I will not. I swear, you lot are like a bunch of teenagers."

"Hey, we can't all go out and fuck princesses." Nephele says, shrugging. "It's frowned upon. Not proper."

"Extenuating circumstances!" Insists Kallixenia, drawing their attention back to herself.

"Such as?"

"…She was really sad."

"And… you decided to cheer her up by..?"

"Well, I…" Kallixenia sputters. She takes a long sip of ale, blushing. "…I shouldn't say."

"Holy shit?" Squeaks Athis.

"Haha, yesssss!" Nephele cheers. "C'mon Achaia. Give us at least that much detail."

"So this is all you three have to ask? Nothing about them being, you know, princesses?" Achaia deflects again.

Athis, Pherusa, and Nephele look between themselves, thinking.

"Oh, I got one!" Says Athis. "Xanthe said that princesses do all this training with fancy courtesans and such, to make them more appealing to suitors. That true?"

"No?" Achaia says, and then looks at a shrugging Kallixenia to verify. "No."

"So she's bad at it?" Nephele asks.

"No!"

"So you are fucking her!"

"Godsdammit!"

This continues late into the night, until all but Kallixenia and Achaia have retired to bed and the two of them take a trip to the monastery's bathhouse.

"Okay, I didn't want to ask about this with the others around." Says Achaia, as they relax in the hot water. Kallixenia opens one eye and quirks her eyebrow.

"It's nothin' bad, just, they'd be weird about it. Horny asses."

"Okay."

"So, uh… Does yours, like… Have an ear thing?"

Kallixenia breathes the steam deeply through her nose.

"I mean like, like if you touch-"

"I know what you mean." She says, and refuses to elaborate further for the sake of her lady's honor.

The next day's meditation brings no answers. Nor the day after, nor after that.

Kallixenia can't just leave it like this, regardless of what her battle-sisters think. They might only care about smiting, but she has a duty to uphold. She swore that she would serve the gods, to be their shield arm in the mortal world.

She can't just, half-ass it.

She spends longer and longer in meditation. Starts coming back after dinner instead of retiring for the night. She gets less and less sleep, dedicating herself fully to finding an answer.

And then, when she has exhausted herself, when she blurs the line between dream and reality, the gods finally speak to her.

"Kaaalliiiiiee~"

Welcome to my exclusively SWTOR Tumblr; which is titled "Maybe You Should let the Wookiee Win"

This is where I'll be showcasing my SWTOR toons and adventures. I'm seeming to play a lot more SWTOR now that my wife is back in the game. Her hard-drive space on her laptop was down to near minimal, so somehow, she being more computer literate than me managed to get her game onto an external hard-drive which gave her space on the laptop's hard-drive to install the latest update and get her running again. She needs a much bigger hard-drive on her computer.

Of course, I'm running down to about 345 gigs of space too now. I really should have gotten a 4TB hard-drive. Will have to consider that later. My main toons are on the Star Forge server but I'm not restricted to that. I've also started making toons for the Satele Shan server (the other North American server) and that's where I've been playing on quite a bit.

My first toon I created on Satele Shan was Kyra. She originated from Star Forge, but I had to delete her and start over. (I didn't want to spend the cartel coins to transfer her)

My second toon was Sarlena Worriz.

Of course I also had to have a Jedi Knight - she's going a bit dark.

Couldn't exclude the Imperial Side either.

This is my wife's Jedi Consular (I'm male but enjoy playing female toons; she on the other hand creates mostly female toons).

I have had fun playing the evil Sith Sorcerer with Kyra. She's always been one of my favorites since I haven't unlocked many of the abilities that I have unlocked on Star Forge server. Eventually, I'll probably migrate to every server listed. Then I'm going to have so much fun trying to keep track of all my toons. Guess I'm going to have to keep a spreadsheet of all my characters and what their crew skills are.

On my Star Forge toons, my crew has 745M credits. My Satele Shan toons are poor as ****. So...back to the beginning, I guess...
