/ theorycrafting my ocs in dnd builds which ive done before but i grasp the game more now and its funny how many monks i have, xaos is kensei samurai, kyra is assassin shadow monk (Although her having one of his classes makes sense as shes his protege), takun could be either an unarmed fighter (battlemaster maybe?) or monk with a single level in warlock to represent the demon in him, and even shi has a background in martial arts being a mercy monk with most levels in cleric

#to be fair despite how unbalanced the party is i kinda stand by those choices #like kensei is the super anime samurai class and thats xaos #but samurai's abilities are based on an unshattered resolve #thats xaos #kyra similarly is a ninja and shadow monk is super anime ninja #however she doesnt start that way so she starts out with rogue #takuns a boxer he needs to fight unarmed #and he uses his martial class as a way to not give in to the demons power #relying on his magic only in very desperate scenarios #takun also could use that one pugilist homebrew #that actually fits him as a boxer a bit more flavor wise #shi is a healer but shes also a frontliner #she doesnt want to be behind walls she wants to adventure #and that means knowing how to defend herself #and she spent her whole life in a wuxia inspired setting #she kinda has to be a monk #trinity is some sorta magic fighter #her sword and shield are magic constructs #could go EK rune knight or psi warrior #she'd also have some levels in crown paladin #shes also so rage filled a barb dip could be funny #also ryan is conquest paladin all the way #banneret/pdk could be good too but that class is. Bad.
