Robin's just been so genuinely happy in Elbaph, it's great.

Kagurabachi wins "clean as all fuck"

This is one of the most cinematic moments in the series, and I can't wait to see it animated. This is gonna be the sort of shot they talk about for ages

Blue Box wins "best usage of thesis statement"

Blue Box is about doing your best within your own small world. This chapter does a great job showing how we put up our own walls to build onto the walls that already surrounded us, but also how we can break through those walls.

Ichi The Witch wins "MC says some freak shit"

I desperately need to put this man in Monster Hunter. It's an incredible need.

Ultimate Exorcist Kiyoshi is runner-up for "clean as fuck"

Usui has a really good grasp of design and composition, and I can't wait to see more of his work.

The reason why Kyoru is working so much better for me than Yukiru so far this go round when I can filter out all the annoying anime nonsense and disengaging and disjointed/distracting things (I assume I liked it better as a kid, the show and that ship, but I remember not falling for the ship in particular because it felt underdeveloped romantically I guess… Yuki was still developing as a character whom I still really liked meanwhile Kyo is pretty much all there from the beginning who is entertaining enough on his own) is that I can deeply understand why either would fall for each other. That’s one of the main factors in making me believe in a fictional relationship, what makes me think two characters have chemistry. I wouldn’t say Yuki and Tohru have chemistry, mutual respect and admiration though, yes. Some moments here and there of Yuki adoring her and Tohru reacting, yes, but I wouldn’t necessarily say chemistry (which reminds me of other ships and bitter debates I’ve had or endured, heh). Anyways, Kyoru is pretty good I just wish I could enjoy the anime more. The couple would definitely be higher on my list of faves like Usui and Misaki from Maid-sama which I should rewatch as well.
