Hi! You're the first person that I found that have Number24 as one of their fav anime, so excited! Yes, I love Natsusa, too. See, I never ship anyone poly before (like for me, each character have their own otp) but with Natsusa, I ship him with both Ibuki & Seeichirou (2 ships different flavour).
Also, yes LawLight (my all time fav ship ever). Can I ask, do you ship Mello/Near, too?
For Karma and Kagami, I ship them a bit differently (sorry), Karma/Nagisa and Kagami/Kuro are my otps.
But, I'm so excited to see other shipper with different ships! Do you mind if you have free time, I asked of your fav ships?
Yes, Dazai/Akutagawa is not common but so interesting. Like, I also ship Dazai with Atsushi.
I ship soukoku & shin soukoku, but other ships are also interesting....
For Dazai, I think he is an amazing characters who we love and can ship with mostly anyone, right?
Hi! Thank you so much for your ask. First, please excuse any misspellings or anything, I'm writing this on my phone and, even if I wasn't I low-key suck at typing. Also ran out of tag space so there is that.
Also yes, I love Number24. I love the animation style, I love Natsusa, I love Ibuki and Seiichirou, honestly I love all the characters. But I will say, as much as I love Ibuki x Natsusa (one of my favourite ships) Ibuki and Ethan are basically canonically married in the English dub. Seiichirpu, on the other hand, seems to love Natsusa only. Love both ships. Honestly I probably should've had them both in the same spot on my ship list. But on the day Ibuki was more appealing. I ship both about equally.
I don't really ship Mello/Near but that's more because I don't know them. When u watched Death Note, it was when it was on Netfliz and they took it off before I could finish it, but I do have Crunchyroll now, so I will probably finish it and that answer may change. But, even if I don't like it, I doubt I'd be like 'ew, no.' There's very few ships I'm against. As long as its fiction, we're cool.
As for Karma and Kagami, absolutely. I do like those ships too, they're just not my favourite. But in the case of the Kagami bit I kinda see Kagami/Kuroko/Aomine/possibly Kise as a polycule. (Possibly Kise because I also ship him with Kasamatsu.) But yeah, totally get where you're coming from. I honestly think it depends if you prefer friends to lovers or rivals to lovers and for me I do lean more towards rivals to lovers. Also no need to apologise. Ship whatever you want. We don't have to agree. As long as you're having fun with it, that's what matters. Fandom is supposed to be fun and enjoyable.
Absolutely agree with Dazai being shippable with so many people. Chuuya, kunikida, Sigma, Fyodor I've seen, Atsushi, Aktugawa. I recently saw someone mention Oda/Dazai. He really is just the character you ship with everyone because he can barely go a scene without flirting with someone. I'm sorry, you're dying and are against the clock and you're going to take the time to dance with a stranger you just met? What a power move honestly. Good for him.
Regarding favourite ships, do you mean ones I didn't mention? Or for specific shows? Happy to answer, just without clarification I will probably just repeat what I said before in a slightly different way.
Thank you again for the ask. If you want to send me asks for headcanons, snippets, drabbles or just questions like this, please feel free to ask. Hell I'm bored, ask me whatever as long as its fandom related or fiction related. To see what fandoms I write for, check my pinned post. I will probably add to it in the future as I think of things I liked and would be happy to write for. But it is for practice purposes.

How the GOM w/ Kagami would react to drunk Y/Nâs confession
âą
âą
âą
Akashi
He would definitely be slightly humored
âY/NâŠare you okay?â
âShhhâŠjust kiss me.â
He would be surprised by your sudden confession.
Definitely wouldnât kiss you though, not because he didnât feel the same, but mans is a gentleman
Heâs all about consent
Would chuckle at your adorable pout
Watches you with curious interest as heâd watch you dance around the club
Would try and hide the fact that he really fucking wished heâd kissed you
Force you out of the club and take you home
Would hesitate when youâd invite him in but eventually agree
Smiles while you drown on about how much you love him
Would eventually cuddle you until you fell asleep, softly rubbing your hair while humming
As soon as youâre sober though, heâd start flirting a lot more and eventually ask you to kiss him
A start of a beautiful relationship
Aomine
Would absolutely laugh his ass off trying to watch you dance around
âYou look stupid as hell Y/N.âïżŒ
What a gentleman đ
Would roll his eyes whenever you confessed, blaming it on the alcohol
Heâs definitely the type to get jealous at the other guys starting at you in your tight dress
Would threaten anyone if they came up to you
âLeave her alone. Sheâs mine.â
He would then come up next to you and grab your ass, almost like he was marking his territory
Expect drunk sex 100%, heâll halfway try to fuck you in the club with his impatient ass
âFuckâŠyou donât know how long Iâve been waiting to have you Y/N.â
This man is the epitome of rough sex
Heâll have you against the wall, on the countertop, on the couch, basicallyâŠeverywhere.
Loves the face fuck, thinks you look so pathetic and cute trying to fit all of him on your mouth
When you finally fell asleep on top of his chest, heâd smile
âI love you too dumbass.â
Midorima
UhhhâŠheâs not the type to explain how heâs feeling when heâs sober
âY/N you look like a fool dancing around like that, stop it.â
âBut MidorimaaaaâŠI love youuuuâŠâ
He would taken by surprised
âWhat?â
But mans would still be too caught up in himself to actually have any fun
BUT BOY ONCE HE GETS DRUNK TOO
different story
It took a lot of convincing on your part, but once Midorima felt his blood rush due to the alcohol (and your tight shirt) it was over
He would be super touchy and clingy
âY/Nnnnn, please donât go out there, people are staring at you and I want to be the only one you stare at. Besides itâs supposed to be MY lucky day.â
Youâd have to sober up quickly so you could try and take care of him
Who knew heâd be such a baby?
When you walked him home, he grabbed your arm before you left
âWaitâŠY/NâŠâ
He was flushed and kept pushing his glasses up
Before you could say anything, Midorima quickly gave you a peck on your cheek before running inside
Kise
He would 100% get drunk with you
This man is the epitome of dating your best friend
You guys would spill all of your secrets too each other before you blurted out
âKiseâŠI love you.â
He was quiet at first, and you refused to make eye contact
âY/N-chinâŠâ
Heâd grab your chin, forcing you to look at him, before heâd give you a soft kiss
HoweverâŠthis quickly led into a deeper, sloppy kiss
He would drag you into the bathroom before sitting you on top of the sink
Itâs in front of a mirror, are you really surprised?
He would fuck you gently at first, until you made the mistake of calling him daddy
Would get interrupted by Kuroko with his luck
âExcuse me guys but I didnât know you were in here and I really need to pee.â
âKuro-chin!â
Kuroko
Iâm literally so bad at writing about Kuroko because I can see mans just like đ§đ»ââïž
Also, Kuroko belongs to Momoi
But! The show must go on!
Heâs a sub, 100%, itâs canon idc
âY/N, please get off the table before you hurt yourself.â
âAwww, youâre no fun Kuroko!â
Youâd listen though, quickly getting down
You would probably just kiss him instead of taking the time to confess
He would literally be so surprised
âY/N, why would you do that?â
Embarrassed, you tried walking away but he grabbed you and pulled you towards him before he kissed you again
Nothing sexual would probably happen, heâd just walk you home silently, holding your hand
When youâd get to your door, heâd kiss your forehead before walking away
What a sweetheart
Kagami
Heâs so awkward when it comes to girls, itâs so cute đ
Heâs liked you for a while, probably ever since heâs moved back and you guys became friends
So watching you dance and shake your ass on anyone that wasnât himâŠ
Pissed him the hell off
Heâd have to take a couple of shots though so heâd have some confidence
But as soon as he did, he would drag out of the club
âWhat the hell do you think youâre doing Y/N?â
Annoyed, you tried walking back in but he quickly pulled you back in front of him
Heâd kiss you forcefully but you instantly melted into it
You liked him too and have waiting for this moment
He would 100% take you back to his house
He would beg you to sit on his face, licking and sucking you like it was his last meal
Did I mention he loves doggy?
âFuck Y/N, you fuck this dick so well. Youâre gonna make me fuckinâ cum.â
He would be blunt while you were laying on his chest afterwards
âYouâre my girlfriend now.â
Murasakibara
MY MANSâŠheâs so underrated đ©
âY/N-chinâŠwhy are we here? I want to go home. Thereâs no snacks here.â
He would be bored out of his mind
At the same time, all of his attention would be on you
Heâs like your own personal bodyguard
Literally. No one would approach you
âMukkunâŠwhy donât you drink? Youâre no funnn.â
âBecause this is a pain in the ass.â
âBut youâre so cute and funny and I really really like youâŠâ
Essentially, youâd just end up rambling
Hearing this, he would just blankly stare at you before throwing you up over his shoulders and taking you to his house
âMukkun, I can walk.â ïżŒ
But despite your pleas, heâd still carry you
When you guys get to his house, heâd throw you on to his bed before giving you sloppy kisses on your neck
he would give you a SHIT ton of hickeys
This mans loves to eatâŠin saying this, at least four of your orgasms would be from him eating you out
âMukkunâŠpleaseâŠjust fuck me already.â
He would be pussy drunk but hearing you beg and whimper like thatâŠfuck
Did I mention he has a size kink?
He would lay down as you struggled to ride him, watching with humored eyes
âCome on Y/N-chinâŠcanât even take all of me?â
Before forcing you done, 100% bruisng your cervix
Heâs in love with the idea of watching how tiny you are compared to him
That in itself makes him close to cumming
When youâre finally done, heâd cuddle you while eating the rest of the pocky on his nightstand
âY/N-chin is mine.â

Strawberry Jam
Part 2 of the Pun Fest collection!
Murasakibara x f!Reader
Word count: 3992
Synopsis: The YĆsenâs basketball team is trying to help out a poor managerâs love life.
Note: I went a little too crazy with this;; it is definitely longer than Kiseâs prompt (iâm so sorry my bb)
»»âââââăâŒăâââââ««
Everything about YĆsen was grand and lofty, from their buildings, their interiors, their tuition, and even their students⊠quite literally.
A huge downside of attending there, though, was the location of the campus itself: Akita. The biting winds were extremely harsh and unforgiving, particularly when temperatures dropped below negative numbers as snow continued to pile up even more imposing walls than the famed âShield of Aegis.â Luckily, as the new manager of YĆsen Highâs basketball team, you often got to accompany five towering starter players, where you gladly took advantage of their heights to protect yourself from the harsh weather.Â
Still, if you had the choice to either confess to Murasakibara or to stand outside in an Akita blizzard for a few hours, youâd dash to the latter option with no hesitation.
You donât even know why you fell for the purple-haired giant of all people.
Was it because his intimidating stature contradicted his laid back personality?
Was it because your heart panged for him when you witnessed, from your seat, him giving his all against his match with Seirin, only for him to leak tears of frustration at losing?Â
Was it because shortly after, when you joined as a manager to get a head start training for next season (as per Coach Arakiâs request), Murasakibara gently ruffled your hair before he went to get his umaibo sticks?Â
You wanted to deny those pervasive thoughts that were taunting you recently for falling in love so easily, but you shook your head before you patted your cheeks to figuratively slap those inner gremlins away.
âChibi-chin?â Murasakibara lazily turned his body at an angle towards your direction. âDid the snow fall on you too?âÂ
You could feel your cheeks flush even through under your mittened palms. Himuro flashed you a concerned gaze of his own. âI-I-I⊠sorry! I was just trying to warm my head?... up? uhââ You paused for a bit, trying to salvage your excuse. âT-thereâs always so much a beanie and an earmuff could do to keep⊠warm?â
âHnn, I guess so,â he said, giving a quick once over to your figure. âYouâre so red, chibi-chin. You look like strawberry jam from this yummy bun I ate just now.â
âAtsushi,â Himuro turned to him exasperatedly. âYou donât compare people to food you just ate. Itâs not polite.â
âOh well, Muro-chin.â He walked on further out of the school gates. âSee you too, Chibi-chin.â
âMura-kun, you always call me that,â you pouted. âIf you call me that just because Iâm shorter than you, then you might as well start calling that to everybody.â
âBut youâre Chibi-chin,â he insisted. âMuro-chin is Muro-chinâŠÂ Kuro-chin is Kuro-chin⊠Sa-chin is Sa-chinâŠâ he continued to go off on a mumbling tangent as he chewed on his next pack of biscuit sticks, walking away to finally head for home. You and Himuro were left alone together.
âSo, about Atsushi-kun⊠pardon for me asking but⊠do youââ
âH-H-Himu-kun, have the other members left home already?â you turned to him, having a premonition of where the conversation was heading to.
He blinked owlishly for a moment before he nodded. âYeah⊠Coach didnât want to risk everyone getting sick and missing out on drill days later.â
âAh, Iâm glad. Although⊠itâs a bit sad that our 3rd years are leaving so soonââ
âWhatâs this about 3rd years?â You whipped your head around to see Fukui and Okamura trekking through the soft snow in your direction.
âFukui-san? Okamura-san? What are you two doing here?â
âArgh, studying in the library stinks,â Fukui groaned, cracking his neck. âEspecially when the libraryâs heater broke earlier. We were all told to just go home.â
âWell, now that you two are here after you interrupted our conversation, let me ask our manager-san again,â Himuro turned to you with a genial smile, but you knew that face hid something truly unpleasant.
âOh, manager-san,â he slowly started. The 3rd years were silently looking at each other in confusion. âCould it be that you fancy someone romantically?â
It took a few seconds for the questionâs implications to heavily sink into everyoneâs minds like heavy-duty boots on fresh blankets of snow.
âE-e-e-e-ehhhh??â All three of you screeched out in a dissonance of shouts of disbelief.Â
âW-W-what??â
âHimuro, what the hell?â
âN-N-NO GIRL WILL EVER LIKE ME AFTER ALL!...â
âI just had a feeling is all,â Himuro reassured, but if anything, it panicked you even more. âIf you didnât like anyone, then maybe it was just my imagination.â
This was it. You could easily deny everything with a âthatâs ridiculous!â or âI would never!â or something of the sorts, but when you were about to rebuke Himuro for being so preposterous out of nowhere, all those words dissipated at the tip of your tongue.
âI⊠youâŠâ you started, mouth leaden with meekness as 3 pairs of eyes, all shining with anticipation, were on you. âHimuro⊠you, uhâugh! Youâre right⊠I guess I do⊠like someoneâŠâ
âHEEEEEEEEEEâŠ!â Okamura bursted into tears again. âWhy doesnât anyone like me?â
âOi, captain! Just get rid of your chin!â Fukui apathetically glanced at him before patting his back with mocking consolation, and Okamura only sobbed harder in response.
âSo who do you like, if you donât mind me asking?â Himuro gently interrogated further, leaning closer to your face to gauge your expressions. You knew that sly smirk meant that you werenât going to be able to worm yourself out of this.
Damn it, why is he being so insistent about this?
You sighed. There was no turning back nowâŠÂ
---------
âMURASAKIBARA???â everyone clamored around you. Chaos ensued once again when you timidly confessed your deepest secret, and as they all processed the new information in their own ways, you stared at your furred boots, praying for the snow to swallow you up whole and cleanly wipe away all traces of crimson hues from your face.
Okamura really lost it now, going into incoherent despair of never-ending questions of what Murasakibara had that he himself didnât, while Fukui, for once, was not bullying the poor YĆsen captain but instead standing wide-eyed in shock at you. Himuro had been tilting his head with a finger to his temple, pondering about something that you knew, once again, was not going to turn out to be good news for you.
âWhy donât you confess to hiââ
âA-absolutely not!â At your outburst, Himuro furrowed his brows in utter confusion.
âWhy not?â
âHimuro, are you crazy?â Fukui, barely recovering from his stupor, answered for you. âThis guy has nothing but food in his brain!â
âWell⊠Atsushi could be like that most of the time, butââ
âHimu-kun,â you sighed. âJust forget about what I said a-alright?â Hearing them talk about how Murasakibara had nothing in his heart except for his snacks dashed your hopes in your prospective love life. âIâll see you guys at school tomorrow.â
As you walked away from the boys, head down from either the cold or dejection (or perhaps both), they turned to each other with fierce glints in their eyes, almost reminiscent of the serious aura they gave before their Seirin match.
---------
âOkamura-san? Youâre here alone?â You walked up to him before school after surveying that neither Fukui nor Himuro were in the near vicinity. âWell, I guess itâs still a bit too early for anyone to come.â
âWell, uhââ he stammered. âWe all decided to individually help you in getting closer to the brat.â
âH-huh?â
âA-as captain, I must be the first one to offer advice from senior to underclass⊠man?â
You huffed in apprehension but you appreciated that your teammates cared enough to go out of their ways to help you in your love life. But you were afraid of what was in store for you. Very much afraid.
You really werenât prepared for this unforeseen development.
âUmâŠâ
âUh, ermâŠâ he stuttered. âR-right! I-if I had a girl who liked me, Iâd hope for her to offer me a bento lunch, or maybe a love letter? Or ch-chocolates and a plushie if it was ValentineâsâŠâ
âThat⊠thatâs cute and all Okamura-san, butâŠâ you began, flustered. âBut this is Mura-kun weâre talking about. Heâd only be interested in the lunch and chocolates, but he wouldnât think too much of a girl giving him free food.â
He instantly teared up, and from an outside perspective, he looked like he was being personally rejected by you.
âI-is that why Iâm single?â he sniffed into his sleeve.
âN-no! Thatâs not it!â you comforted him. âWithout a doubt, someone will come to love you one day! Be patient and keep pushing, Okamura-san!â
As you tried to pat his arms in consoling him, a certain looming purple-haired mop overshadowed you both.
âChibi-chin? What are you doing?â He was munching on a bag of potato chips. âOh?... Captain?â Both of you jumped out of your skins before leaping apart to provide distance from each other.
âChibi-chin, I didnât know you were close to him.â
âTh-thatâs not!ââ You stammered, but what were you going to say?Â
Sorry, the captain and I were just talking about ways to fix my love life?Â
Donât worry, weâre just figuring out ways for me to get close to you?Â
Sorry, but he, of all people, was helping me find out a plan to confess to you?
With every excuse you tried to concoct in your mind, your cheeks burned brighter and brighter.
Murasakibara didnât miss the way you grew timid in his presence again and how you always seem to be so hesitant whenever you spoke with him. He sighed before shoving an non-frozen ice pop to your lips before walking past you.
âBetter hurry up, Chibi-chin,â he drawled. âIâll go look for Muro-chin.â With that he trudged away.
You held the mango-flavored pop in your hands. Wasnât this his go-to flavor?
âSorry I wasnât able to help much,â he moped. He scratched the back of his head while looking at his feet.
âOkamura-san, Iâll be sure to keep your suggestion in mind!â
The warning bell echoed throughout the hallways. âI guess thatâs the bell. Well, see you!â You both waved to each other before you went to your respective classes. You made sure to gulp down the pop before you went to your seat.
---------
âHimu-kun! Just what are you guys planning?â
âI donât know what youâre implying, (l/n)-san,â he feigned, glancing at you glowering at your desk next to his.
âMura-kun totally has the wrong idea! He probably has a horrible image of me now, and Iâm never gonna make eye contact with him againââ
âJust because he saw you and Okamura together? Atsushi isnât that dumb.âÂ
âBut we never talked alone together until this morning!âÂ
You groaned as you opted to faceplant your desk and hoped for a catastrophe to hit Akita and take you out of your misery. At the very least, you hoped that the deities would spare you and fastforward time to the end of the school day, so you can scurry home with no further incident. With your chin still on the desk, you stared at the wall clock; it was still only morning break.
âIf you canât confess to him directly,â Himuro hummed. âWhy not use pickup lines? They still get the point across.â
âThe only reason why they work for you is because youâre popular yourself. All the girls fawn over you.â You then propped your head against your hand, nodding towards a close group of girls whispering and peeking at yourâHimuroâsâdesk seatings. âSee?â
âTheyâre always like that, though. That doesnât mean theyâre interested in me like that.â You resisted the urge to groan again.
Himuro turned his attention to the back of the classroom (the action went unnoticed by a brooding you) to see an equally sulking Murasakibara, who had been staring holes at the back of your head ever since the start of class. A silent chuckle escaped his lips and his eyes twinkled with unabashed mischievousness.
âHimu-kun?â you looked out of the corner of your eyes.
âHmm?â He turned to you before giving a smile that meant he was up to no good. You were about to question his motives before your mind went blank after he gently tousled your hair. âDonât sweat about this so much, (l/n)-san.â
âAhâŠâ That was rather out of nowhere, but you figured he was trying to cheer you up. âT-thanks.âÂ
At that, you gave Himuro a tiny, genuine smile.
Himuro swore he sensed a drastic spike in hostility directed towards the back of his head.
---------
The gods must have really hated you, because today just felt like it was crawling by even slower than usual.Â
It was barely lunchtime.
There was still a shower of drifting snowflakes outside, so everyone was still cramped up indoors filled with stuffy air of artificial heat.
You didnât mind it that much; you were going to use the time to head over to the library to check out some books for your literature class.Â
âHimu-kun, take care of my stuff until I get back, okay?â
âHm? Yeah, sure.â
As soon as you stood up from your desk to leave, you noticed Murasakibara getting up from his own seat to head over towards you guys. In a panic, you made a bolt towards the door and slid it closed.Â
Phew. You laid back against the door for a second to regain your composure before you strolled to your destination.
---------
âAtsushi,â Himuro greeted him.
âHnnn.â He plopped onto the empty seat directly behind Himuro.Â
âYouâre making quite a harsh frown.â
âChe, Iâm gonna crush you, Muro-chin,â he grumbled, furrowing his brows. Himuro lets out a soft chortle before reaching into his bag.
âI have no clue what youâre talking about, Atsushi,â he replied. âBut would you want some snacks? I brought extra.â His hand pulled out a pack of wafer cookies. Murasakibara immediately perked up.
âIâm gonna eat lots and lots~â he drawled, before taking a handful of cookies and throwing them haphazardly into his mouth.
---------
â(l/n)-san, I hast found thou.â
âLiu-san?â You turned your attention from the book to said person behind you. You were still idly thumbing the pages.
âI hast something to talk thee about.âÂ
When you found out a couple of weeks ago about why and how Liu started speaking like that, you honestly didnât know whether to punch Fukui for pranking the poor 2nd year to speak old-fashioned Japanese or shake hands with said-prankster because that was a golden scheme.
âWhat is it?â
âIs it true that thou fancy Murasakibara?â
Okay, youâre definitely going to punch Fukui the next time you see him. No one else couldâve told Liu except him.
âH-h-huh? Not you too!â Your fingers halted on the held book.
âIf thou like him, why donât thou grant him dinner?â he inquired, tilting his head slightly.
Well, thatâs not a terrible idea butâŠÂ
âI would, Liu-san, but I donât think heâll see that as a romantic action. Food is food to him.â
âThatâs a shame,â he bowed his head. âSorry that I canst not grant thou much help. I wish thou good luck on thy endeavors.â
âThank you, Liu-san,â you gave him a smile and a returned bow. âIâll keep your words in mind.â
He gave a chagrined smile of his own before he left you to your own devices.
---------
Finally, the dismissal bell echoed throughout campus. You were flouncing around with newfound determination to catch a certain snitch in one of the class-3 rooms. Sure enough, an ash-blonde haired student casually strolled out of his classroom before he bumped into a bloodthirsty you.
âGah! You?ââ
âYeah, me,â you narrowed your eyes at him. You lowered your voice into a harsh whisper. âYou told Liu about this ordeal? Who else did you gossip this to?â
âAckâno one! I swear! I just told Liu because I figured he had some solid advice! He hasnât told anyone, I made him swear to keep quiet!â He immediately begged for forgiveness, putting his hands up together in a plea with his head bowed. You sighed.Â
âI guess it canât be helped,â you muttered. âHe said to take Mura-kun to dinner, but that just falls into the category of âfood.ââ
âBut isnât there a saying of âgetting to the stomach to get to their heart?â It definitely applies to him without a doubt.â
âSo whatâs your idea, Fukui-kun?â You huffed, crossing your arms. âLetâs get it over with. Everyone has been trying to give me some type of suggestion today and I figured that was your âplanâ from the get-go.â
âAlright, letâs walk out of the building to the gate while we talk and while the weather is still manageable.âÂ
---------
âIâm sorry, say that again?â
âWhy donât you say some jokes or puns to get a laugh out of him?â
âI know youâre a pranking type of guy, but you canât be serious right now.â
âWhat? You wanted to get close to him, right? Friends get each other to crack up.â
âUgh.â You slapped your mittened hands against your face and leaned your head back to stare at the dreary sky, a perfect portrayal of the inevitable doom youâre going to have to face.Â
Gods, please donât torture me any further like this.
---------
âMuro-chin? Is that Chibi-chin and Fuki-chin?â Murasakibara stops to stare at the pair.
âHuh, I didnât know they were still here,â Himuro said, trailing closely behind the titan.Â
âHeâs bothering Chibi-chin, Muro-chin,â he scowled. âIâm gonna crush him.â
âAtsushi,â Himuro hurriedly interrupted. âWeâre already taking a detour to the convenience store to get your umaibo sticks⊠If we stay here any longer, then weâll be forced to walk straight home instead because of the weather.â
âHmph.â Murasakibara reluctantly turned away from you two in favor of a prospect of having boxes of snacks in his arms.
Himuro gazed at the pair before he caught up with Murasakibara.Â
Heâll be damned if he canât get you and Mura to at least see heart to heart with each other.
---------
âThanks Fukui-kun, but your suggestion sounds flimsy at best,â you sweatdropped.Â
âThereâs also the saying of âdonât knock it until you try it,â (l/n)-san,â Fukui retorted. He had a sullen look from having his idea immediately shot down. The two of you continued to walk out of the school gates in awkward silence before you gave in.
âFine, fine, sheesh,â you sighed. âIâll⊠think about it⊠Happy?â
âYes!â He whooped and pumped a fist to the air.
---------
Even though the snow let up today, there was still a frigid chill in the air, especially since it was still the morning, but you willed yourself to wake up earlier to prepare to finally confess and just get it over with before Murasakibara figured something was up. You could tell that he had already been suspicious of your behavior, after all.
Your school bag was beyond bulky to carry, drawing attention from other curious onlookers as you trudged yourself (and your cumbersome bag) to YĆsen.
7 a.m. should be early enough right?
All you have to do is wait until Murasakibara shows up, do your confession, and then book it.Â
Easy. Very easy. So easy that even Fukui could do it. Very easy, quick, easy⊠easy⊠NOT easy, NOT EASYâ
You took an exaggerated inhale to gulp in as much cold air as possible. You couldnât back out now. Otherwise youâd look like a fool carrying around a big bundle for no reason.Â
You glanced at the time. 7:39? Had time passed by so quickly? Why couldnât the deities do this yesterday?
Before you drown yourself in your pitying thoughts and what-ifs, you noticed your grapehead crush waddling near you, lazily blinking away the last remnants of sleep.
âM-Mura-kun!â
âOhh? Chibi-chinâŠâ He turned towards you as you rushed to him, eyeing the huge bag on your shoulder.Â
âI have something important to tell you!â Okay, here goesâŠÂ
He continued to stare down at you, curious to see you fumbling through your bag and muttering âyou got thisâ and âitâs okayâ to yourself. He tousled your hair, causing you to still your hand and short-circuit whatever cohesive plans you had in your head for this moment.
âI-i-i-iâwhat are you doing?â
âYesterday you said that your head gets cold a lot, Chibi-chin.â Well, that, but he was trying to elicit the same smile you gave to Himuro after he comforted you the same way.
âA-ah, well, itâs not as cold today!... soâŠâ
Ah, he only made you furrow your brows more. Did he make you even more upset?
His hand was still on your head before you gently pried it off. He frowned.
You took a huge breath and exhaled, leaving a warm, puffy trail of translucent mist behind.Â
And he thought you looked prettier than usual like that, your hair slightly disheveled from his touch⊠and your scarf, earmuffs, and hat making you look fuzzy⊠with a veiled mist framing you like a pictureâŠÂ
âMura-kun,â you breathed out, once again letting a hazy cloud escape from your lips. You approached closer, tugging on his sleeve to get his attention.
âHnn?â He really should be paying attention, considering the fact that this was the first time in a while that he got to speak alone with you.
âH-h-here!â you took his sleeve and shoved something soft (and fuzzy too, coincidentally?) into his arms and he gazed down to see a⊠large, fluffy plushie? He examined the bear with a childish wonder before he noticed a small card attached to it.Â
His heart beating uncharacteristically fast, he gingerly opened the card:
Are you a doughnut, because I find you a-dough-able. âĄïž
A boyish smile creeped its way onto his face.
âW-w-wait, andâŠâ you stuttered, already losing confidence. âWhile I think that youâre already a Mura-snacki-bara⊠I would still, um, take? you and me? out to eat⊠together?â At âyou and me,â you lamely pointed at Murasakibara and yourself to make it really obvious. Youâre cringing at your own ineptitude to be smooth about this.
You then embarrassingly took out a handful of coupons for different stores and fast food restaurants and waved it to his face frantically before you shoved them in his hands.
âAnd⊠and⊠u-u-umâI like youâI like you very much!â
Murasakibara now has the biggest shit-eating grin plastered across his face, his eyes shining with utter joy.Â
âChibi-chin⊠you really feel that way about me?â
At his question, you hid your face behind your hands, bracing yourself for rejection.
âOiiiiii, Chibi-chin,â he whined, bending down to gently pry your hands off your face. He stared intently at your face even as you averted your eyes.
âYouâre as red as strawberry jam.â
âH-h-hey!ââ
And he kissed you.
---------
âTold you that Atsushi likes her back.â
âMove, gorilla! Your butt chin is in the way!â
âThou should'st get rid of thy sideburns too.â
âHEEEEEâŠ! Why is everyone so mean? How are the 1st years getting more attention and popularity than me?...â
âShut up.â
âKeep silent.â
---------
âI thought you liked Okamura, Chibi-chin.âÂ
âEh?â
You were walking hand in hand with Murasakibara to the nearest convenience store for his daily supplement of umaibo sticks.
âYou were huddling up to him and being red the other day.â He turned away, pouting.Â
Oh. Ohhhhhh.
âAtsu-kun, you dummy,â you giggled. âThe team found out I liked you, so they were trying to help me.â
âEhhhh?â
âActually, Iâuh, used a combination of all their ideas when confessing to⊠you.â It was your turn to turn away, your index finger scratching your cheek shyly.
âHmph, Chibi-chin~â He tugged on your arm, his voice clearly filled with relief. âIâm hungry.â
âYes, yes, Atsu-kun.â
Maybe having nosy YĆsen team starters wasnât so bad.
Maybe having the deities being so fickle with your days wasnât so bad either.
And maybe the weather in Akita wasnât so bad if you could always cuddle up to Murasakibaraâs side from now on.

Hey hey hey!!! What about Kuroko? I feel like we don't talk about the actual protag of knb alot lol, aaaaaaaaannnddd let's get some girl love, Momoi!
Hii buddy!! I actually did Momoi already here, but Iâll gladly do Kuroko for u đ (if you want to send me a replacement character, maybe another amazing girl, go for it!!)
Why I like Kuroko: god heâs such a funny dude. I feel like heâs one of those people with a very vague sense of humor and poker-faced deliveries but when his jokes land, oh my god. Heâs also really really sweet and he takes it up on himself to make sure everyone is ok and having fun, heâs really caring and nurturing (Iâm not half mad about his choice of job tbh); and heâs also intelligent and a nerd and probably into liberal arts, and heâs also Gorgeous like whatâs not to love? Heâs passionate and amazing And unrelated but have u seen those guns? We gotta talk more about Kurokoâs Arms
Why I donât: huuh. Maybe his inability to stand up against Akashi for the sakes of Aomine and the rest of the GoM? Thatâs the only thing I can come up with... otherwise heâs my angel
Favorite episode (scene if movie): god heâs iconic a Lot of times... going up to Kagami fully expecting to be beaten in both basketball and just so, shrugging off Kise a lot, everything that involves him and Aomine, asking Hanamiya if heâs really Just Like That or if he has trauma, going up against the Street Thugs without even expecting Kagami and Kise to help him (I swear this dude just wants to get into fistfights), asking Aomine to teach him to shoot, also thinking that Kagamiâs doing the same brooding asshole thing Aomine used to pull on him in Teiko and freaking out but then realizing that he just wanted to grow separately iâm soft
Favorite season/movie: I have a soft spot for s3 Kuroko I think? Heâs doing his best there
Favorite line: âIf you havenât changed it means you havenât improved.â and âItâs incredibly painful to hate something you used to loveâ because HE UNDERSTOOD AOMINE THE BEST FUK
Favorite outfit: I think the Teiko jersey suited him the best? Itâs about the colors matching with his hair asdgh I wonder if it still fits him I wonder if his boyfriends ask him to wear it from time to time
OTP / Brotp: joining these because... any and all variations of AoKagaKuro.
Head Canon: he cusses. A Lot. Probably most out of all the GoM, but itâs always under his breath and since most people donât pay attention to him they kind of miss it or assume it was someone else. Kagami and Aomine always hear and lose their respective shits. They make him set up a swear jar at home, and youâd be surprised how much of that money is Kurokoâs.
Unpopular opinion: again itâs something I didnât think would be unpopular but??? heâs a manly man?? Being nurturing and sensitive doesnât make him less masculine oh my god stop overly feminizing Kuroko Please also he tops
A wish: I wish he understood that he doesnât have to be âjustâ a supporting actor, but I guess this kind of happens by the end of the series? Heâs an amazing basketball player on his own and doesnât need to live in the shadows.
An oh-god-please-dont-ever-happen: I feel like the worst thing you could do to Kuroko is to do the worst thing to his friends. Just... donât hurt anyone whoâs close to him it would break him.
5 words to best describe them: Sunshine Boy with Self Esteem Issues
My nickname for them: Kuro sometimes, but Nothing will Ever be better than Tetsu. Thereâs so much affection in that name im đ„șđ„ș
#ask and i shall answer#kuroko tetsuya#knb headcanons#hey thanks rachel i love you!!#i love talking about kuroko he's amazing#geometricalien#sorry it took me so long and that i had to skip momoi

Oh anon, of course I will write something for you!! Chronic pain is a difficult issue for anyone to suffer from, and I hope that you have many more good days than bad!
A close friend of mine suffers from severe scoliosis and had to miss a lot of days of school due to the pain on some days so I have a bit of experience seeing someone dealing with spinal issues. I hope this cheers you up!!
Boyfriend!GOM and Reader with spinal injuries
Akashi Seijuro
Akashi never missed a single thing. With just a single glance, he could immediately tell if what kind of day you were having, and you had long given up on trying to hide your bad days from him.
Unfortunately, today was one of those days. The pain medications you had taken earlier in the day seemed to be wearing off faster than usual, and you sucked in a deep breath trying to not react to the painful tingles that accompanied your every movement.
When the bell rang signaling the start of lunch, you remained seated while the rest of your classmates had all stood up, grabbing their lunchboxes or leaving for the cafeteria.
Biting your lip, you gingerly began reaching for your cane, moving slowly to prevent any additional aggravation to your spine.
â_____.â
âSeijuro?â Turning your head, you see your boyfriend at the door of your classroom, making his way towards you. âSorry, I know we planned to meet up for lunchâŠâ
âIâve simply decided to come to you, _____. A short walk around the courtyard may help relieve the stiffness in your back.â Carefully, Akashi hands you your cane, before reaching out for your other arm. âA walk arm in arm sounds good, doesnât it?â
âIt does sound pleasant.â You reply, smiling for the first time that day.
âI will always be here to support you, _____. Whether it be with my arms or with my heart.â
Kise Ryouta
âSit, sit! Today is pampering _____-cchi day!â Kise guides you to the couch, forcing you to sit down before he returns with an armful of pillows. âIâll even provide my special pillow-fluffing service~â
âRyouta, I can barely see over all of these pillowsâŠâ One by one, Kise was adding pillows around you, and before long you were surrounded by what seemed like a literal tower of fluff.
âBut youâre comfy, right?â
âVery comfy.â You nod, easing your body into the nest of pillows. âI feel like Iâm on a cloud!â
â_____-cchi is an angel, and angels sleep on clouds.â Leaning down, Kise kisses your forehead. âIâll do anything _____-cchi wants me to do today! Do you want something to eat?â
âAnything?â
âAnything!â
âThenâŠâ Reaching up, you tap your pointer finger on Kiseâs lips. âSing for me, Ryouta.â
âWha-â Kise blushes as he pouts, and you can only laugh at the look on his face. âIâm not that great at singingâŠâ
âYou promised! Anything I wanted, right?â Responding to his pout with one of your own, you poke his lips again. âSing for me, my little songbird.â
âHeh. You donât play fair, _____-cchi.â
You close your eyes as Kise begins humming softly, singing what sounds like a lullaby.
And just like that, ensconced in a soft nest, feeling the vibrations of Kiseâs voice, you drift off into a pleasant sleep.
Midorima Shintarou
â_____, Midorima-kun is at the door.â
âHuh? Whatâs he doing here?â Confused, you slowly sit up from your bed.
âYouâll have to ask him yourself, honey.â Your mom replies with a smile, helping you down the stairs.
Midorima is indeed in the middle of your living room, engaged what seems like a staring contest with your little brother.
âYou look like a carrot.â Your little brother suddenly says, and you canât help but laugh at the indignant look on Midorimaâs face.
âI am not a carrot, nandayo.â
âYouâre my cute carrot, Shin-tan.â You tease, walking forward. âSo, whatâs with the surprise visit?â
Midorima clears his throat, bowing his head to your mother. â_____-san, please allow me to take _____ out tonight. I will have her back at a reasonable hour.â
âThatâs perfectly fine, Midorima-kun!â Smiling, your mother tugs your little brother back so the two of you could leave. âHave fun!â
Still confused, you find yourself staring at the cart parked outside your house. âIâm still confused, whatâs this?â
âTakao insisted that I use it for ourâŠdate.â Midorima mumbles, turning his face away slightly. âThereâs enough room in there for you to lay down, and there is going to be a meteor shower tonight.â
Looking into the cart, you notice that a bed of pillows and blankets were had been arranged inside. âAww, Shin-tanâŠâ
âI-I just had some free time tonight, thatâs all.â Reaching out for you, Midorima gently wraps his arms around your waist, helping you settle into the cart.
âHehe. This is the best, Shintarou. Thank you.â Planting a kiss on his cheek, you giggle softly at the startled look on Midorimaâs face.
As Midorima began to pedal, you noticed that the stars did seem to shine brighter than normal tonight.
Aomine Daiki
âIf you drop me, it would be very, very bad.â
âLike Iâd do that.â Scoffing, Aomine adjusts your position on his back. âAre you doubting my strength?â
âNot your strength, but you can be an idiot sometimes, Daiki.â
âOi, is that anyway to talk to your boyfriend??â
âJust stating the truth.â Laughing, you press your cheek against Aomineâs broad back. What had started as a fun day at the court watching Aomine playing basketball with Kuroko and Kagami had ended abruptly when you started hurting.
ââŠIâm sorry.â You whisper, feeling tears welling up in your eyes. âIâm a mess, Iâm just bothering you all, and I bet Iâm heavy tooâŠâ
ââŠBabe. _____.â You sniffle as Aomineâs voice drops into a comforting tone. âWhy are you apologizing? If youâre hurting, thereâs no need to hide it.â
âYou were having so much fun, and because of me we have to go homeâŠ!â
âI can play basketball with Bakagami and Tetsu anytime, so donât worry about it. Seriously. Now stop crying, youâre going to make my jersey wet.â
âJerk. Just for that Iâm dropping a popsicle down your back.â
âJeez, what has Tetsu been teaching you, I swearâŠâ
Hooking your arms around Aomineâs neck, you squeeze tightly. âThank youâŠâ
âAnytime, babe.â
Of course, in true Aomine fashion, he broke the romantic atmosphere a second later by squeezing your butt.
âDAIKI!â
Murasakibara Atsushi
âNe, _____-chin. What do you want to eat?â
âMm not hungry.â You reply, words muffled by the couch you were laying face down on. âEverything hurts.â
You hear Murasakibara shuffling around, opening cupboards here and there. âMuro-chin says that eating something sweet always helps.â
ââŠI guess I want some cake.â
âCakeâŠCake sounds good.â
âItâs fine if you want to go visit that bakery with Himuro-kun, Atsushi.â You felt bad, having originally made plans to try out the newest pastries that were debuting today with Murasakibara, but the pain in your spine was too much to bear.
âItâs fine. Muro-chin can go with Kuro-chin and Kaga-chin.â
âSorry, lets go next time-â You gasp suddenly, feeling Murasakibaraâs hands press down along your back. âOof!â
âHold still, _____-chin.â Murasakibara murmurs, his hands slowly moving up and down your back.
âThat feels really goodâŠâ Closing your eyes, you focus on the sensation of Murasakibaraâs large hands kneading your back. There were some areas that felt more sore than others, but you could feel your muscles loosening as a result.
âCakes donât taste as good without _____-chin.â
âMmâŠâ You could only make a noise of agreement as Murasakibaraâs hands continue to press down, soothing the painful spots along your spine.
You were so lost in the cloud of relaxation that you didnât even notice Murasakibara had pushed up the back of your shirt and was now touching your skin directly.
â_____-chin looks so tastyâŠâ
âEek, AtsushiâŠ! That tickles!â
Pressing kisses to your skin, Murasakibara only hummed in response. â _____-chin tastes so sweet~â

Winter Cup, January, the Generation of Miracleâs First Year of High School
Murasakibara couldnât help the frown that crawled onto his face when Kiyoshi approached him with his stupid smile on his face. He looked away from him, glaring at the air as Kiyoshi said, âLetâs play again sometime!â
Angered by his words for some reason he could put a finger on, he directed his glare back at Kiyoshi instead. âWhat? No way,â he growled, undoing his hair from the ponytail heâd tied it in. âIâm quitting basketball.â He turned his glare away from Kiyoshiâs face as it fell, ignoring the pang of guilt in his chest when he thought of leaving Himuro behind. âI played until the end because Muro-chin was so desperate, but it wasnât fun.â His tongue felt awkward in his mouth for some reason. He could feel Kurokoâs gaze on him from the other end of the court, but he ignored it. âItâs already a boring enough sport. Thereâs no reason to keep playing after Iâve lost.â
He turned away, heading for his bench, when Kiyoshi spoke up. He paused--not because he wanted to hear what Kiyoshi had to say! Mostly because he was pretty sure that Kiyoshi would follow him around to make him hear it. He was a persistent idiot. âI see. I guess it canât be helped, then."Â He paused, but Murasakibara could feel that he wanted to say more. âIf thatâs how you really feel.â Murasakibara could hear the stupid smile in his voice, so he just walked away from Kiyoshi before Kiyoshiâs awful attitude made him do something stupid.
When he reached the bench, he grabbed his towel, throwing it over his head to hide his face. He could feel his eyes burn slightly, but he wasnât sure why. Huh. Weird.
Himuro came over to him, still full of determination in that way Murasakibara could never understand. Himuro was never going to be talented like Murasakibara--or even Kagami. Why did he try so hard? âWeâll win next time, Atsushi!â He proclaimed proudly. He was sad, but his voice didnât have the bitterness that Murasakibara could feel growing in his own chest.
âWhat?â Murasakibara couldnât keep the anger out of his voice. âI told you, Iâm quitting!â
âYou sure?â Himuro asked, and Murasakibara hated him, just a little, for how gentle his voice sounded. âIt doesnât seem that way to me.â
Tears fell on his hand where he was trying to zip up his bag, and he realized, with a start, that he was crying. Huh? When did that--
Oh. The burning in his eyes. He screwed up his face, trying to hold back the tears that threatened to rip their way out of his chest.
Okamuraâs hand landed on his head. âYouâre just getting started. Keep at it!â he told Murasakibara, and Murasakibara wasnât sure if that was a threat or a promise. He knocked Okamuraâs hand off his head, shoving it away with a waving arm.
âYou did well, guys.â He heard Coach Araki say to the team. âLetâs go home.â
âYes maâam!â The team replied in unison, Murasakibara excluded. When the team respectfully ignored the tears that continued to fall down his face as they headed for the locker room to get changed and when someone shared some sweet snacks with everyone in the locker room--well, he thought that they might not be such a bad group after all.
Even if they were stingy. One snack wasnât nearly enough for him!
~
Kuroko couldnât help the feeling of ecstasy that rolled through him every time he thought back to the match earlier that day. Theyâd won! Against Murasakibara! Against Yosen, the Shield of Aegis! Theyâd made it to the semi-finals! He honestly couldnât believe it. It felt more like a dream than reality . . .
But as he watched Kaijo play against Fukuda Sougou, it became more and more real to him. Kise was down there, battling against Haizaki for the sake of Kiseâs team. For the chance to face Seirin. It was enough to make him want to cry, though he refused to actually do so.
However, the more time that passed, the more he itched with the need to find Murasakibara. Heâd never expected that Murasakibara could go into the Zone, and so it had completely blind-sided him when it happened. But it was a shred of proof, finally, that Murasakibara loved basketball!
Kuroko wanted to tell him--
Well, he didnât know what he wanted to say. But he could figure it out on the way . . . hopefully, it would be some time before the words actually came out of his mouth. It would be quite embarrassing if he tried to speak but no words came out.
~
Kuroko was apprehensive of the outcome of Shuutoku and Rakuzanâs match. Shuutoku and Seirin had tied in their last official game. The two teams were relatively well-matched and had played many practice matches together over the summer. And to be honest, he knew Shuutoku on a personal level better than he knew almost any other team.
But he had no idea how Shuutoku (and, by extension, Seirin) would match up to Akashi and Rakuzan.
He was as hopeful as he was nervous.
When he started to head down to his seats with the rest of his team, he spotted Murasakibara and Himuro arriving out of the corner of his eye. He frowned, confused, wondering how Himuro could have possibly convinced Murasakibara to willingly come to watch the match, but quickly realized that heâd probably been bribed with junk food.
Kuroko grimaced at the thought of all the junk food Murasakibara constantly ate. Sure, Kuroko liked the occasional (dozen) vanilla shakes, but Murasakibara was just too excessive for him.
Impulsively, he decided to approach them.
When he was finally close enough, he reached up and tapped on Murasakibaraâs shoulder, causing the other boy to jolt in shock. He looked around wildly for a moment before looking down and meeting Kurokoâs eyes. Murasakibaraâs eyes narrowed. âKuro-chin,â he said in acknowledgement.
âHello Murasakibara-kun, Himuro-san.â He gave them both polite nods as Himuro jumped and then blinked at him in surprise.
Himuro smiled at him politely and warmly enough. Though Kuroko could see his slight bitterness (though it was well-hidden, he might add) towards one of the players that had defeated his team yesterday in his eyes. âAh, hello! Have you come to talk to Atsushi?â When Kuroko nodded, Himuro responded quickly, cutting off the complaint Murasakibara had been about to voice. âThe match wonât start for another few minutes. Iâm sure you guys will be done by then, yes?â Himuro turned his smile on Murasakibara.
After a few seconds of wavering, Murasakibara crumbled. As he reluctantly followed Kuroko back towards the hallways and away from the overwhelming noise of the crowd around them, Kuroko couldnât help but feel an amused smile slip over his lips. Himuro was a sneaky one. And probably a good influence on Murasakibara.
When he turned around, Murasakibara was eyeballing him with reluctance (and a bit of thinly-veiled hostility). âWhaddaya want, Kuro-chin?â
As Kuroko stood there, he realized that he didnât know what he wanted from Murasakibara. And that as much as he disapproved of Muraskaibaraâs attitude, he couldnât help but feel so proud of the fact that heâd gone into the Zone. That heâd found a friend like Himuro.
But he couldnât say any of that. Murasakibara would just walk away from such âsentimental garbage.â And so when he opened his mouth, he honestly wasnât sure what would come out. Which was why he was as surprised as Murasakibara when what did come out was: âHimuro-san and Kagami-kun.â
Murasakibara stared at him like he didnât know why Kuroko was saying something like this before grunting. âWhat about them?â
âI told Kagami-kun that he and Himuro-san could be rivals and brothers. That he should stop being an idiot.â Kuroko was surprised by the amused snort from Muraskaibara.
âSounds like you,â he grumbled, and Kuroko decided to take that as a compliment.
âItâs something that I realized when I was playing Midorima-kun in the Tokyo Championship League. Aomine-kun and Kise-kun reminded me of it recently. That we were friends and rivals. Midorima-kun even gave Kagami-kun advice that helped him play better this summer. Without that advice, he likely would have won against us the second time. But he doesnât seem to regret it at all. And after yesterday. . . Kise-kun will be my next opponent today. And yet, I rooted for him all throughout that match. I was proud when he won. And--â
âIs this going somewhere?â Murasakibara drawled lazily, and Kuroko narrowed his eyes at him.
âAnd Aomine-kun helped me learn how to shoot in a way suited for me.â Kuroko paused for a second, thinking over all the words that had just come tumbling out of his mouth. They were truer than he had realized. âMaybe wanting to have it all makes me selfish, however, I canât help bu--â Kuroko shook his head, stopping that train of thought. âI suppose what Iâm trying to say is--â Kuroko dug around in his pocket. âPut your new cell phone number in my phone,â he demanded, sticking his phone out to Murasakibara.
Murasakibara glared down at Kuroko, and Kuroko felt so silly. He didnât know what he was doing here, there was no way Murasakibara would--
âYeah, okay, Kuro-chin,â he said, taking the phone and plugging his number into the ânew contactâ option. Kuroko stood there, staring in shock at nothing but air all the while. When Murasakibara plopped the phone back in his still-outstretched hand a minute later, he blinked, returning to reality. He looked up and met Murasakibaraâs gaze just in time for his large hand to land on his head. Kuroko scowled at the hand patting his head, before watching, still in disbelief, as Murasakibara strode away back to Himuro.
âGood luck, Kuro-chin,â he called. âYouâre going to need it,â he muttered.
~
The fact that Akashi was terrifying wasnât new information.
Murasakibara had experienced that terror first-hand during their one-on-one in third year of middle school.
But the fact that he had won the match against Shuutoku by so much even after Midorima had improved immensely? That had made even Murasakibara shiver a little in his seat when he had seen the final score.
And now, watching him play against Kuroko and the rest of Seirin, Murasakibara wasnât sure how to feel. He respected Akashi more than almost anyone he knew, and he couldnât help but feel bitter towards Seirin, the team that had defeated him and his team. So why . . .
Why did he feel the urge to stand up and cheer Kuroko on too when the rest of their middle school teammates had chosen to scream their support?
Loyalty and laziness kept him trapped in his seat, but as the end of the match approached, he couldnât stop himself from leaning forward in his seat, tracking the action occurring in the game below him with intent eyes. He felt his palms and his feet itch--like he wanted to move--and scowled, flopping back in his seat to be contrary.
Despite the fact that all of his team had come to watch the match, he was pretty sure only Himuro had noticed the way that (even if it was only for a few moments) he had felt the urge, the want, to play basketball too.
When the cards fell and all was said and done, Seirin stood victorious. Murasakibara felt a strange tinge of unwanted pride. He had lost to the victors of this tournament, and no one less.
As he watched Kurokoâs team tackle him in hugs, the tiny figures dancing across the big, empty court, he felt that itch to play again. And when he watched Akashi shake Kurokoâs hand (his other self was clearly there to stay), he felt a warmth in his chest that almost overwhelmed that itch.
So he scowled and ignored both feelings, reaching into his bag for another snack to eat. Wanting to play basketball and loving basketball the way that Kuroko did was stupid.
~
Later that night, as he lay awake and stared at the ceiling above him, Murasakibara couldnât stop thinking. He couldnât stop thinking about the way that all of his teammates, even Akashi, had been changed by their matches against Kuroko and his team. He couldnât help but wonder what was wrong with them!
(What was wrong with him, for not changing too.)
And he couldnât stop thinking about what it was like to go into the Zone.
The way his focus had narrowed to him, tha players, the ball, and the court--as if nothing else mattered, as if the rest of the world had been drowned out . . . the way he felt like heâd been sinking down beneath the waves of the Zone had been . . . wonderful.
It had been wonderful for every moment that it had happened. It felt like the moment of euphoria that came when he took his first bite of something delicious, a feeling all the following bites could never capture as well as the first. And yet this version of that euphoria had been constant .
It felt like coming home.
And he hated himself for feeling that in the bone-deep way he felt it.
He knew that the other Miracles said you said to love basketball to go into the Zone--but that wasnât true! It couldnât be true . . . because he hated basketball.
He was quitting basketball!
He would just as soon as the season was over. After all, he didnât want to let Himuro down.
But there was always a reason to keep playing, wasnât there? At first he was just playing to join a club, any club! And then it was because he didnât want to lose. Then it was because he was good at it. Because he didnât want to let Akashi down. Because he didnât want to fall behind all the rest of his teammates. Because he wanted to prove himself to be the best of them all, to beat Kuroko, to not let Himuro down--
There was always something.
But when this year was over . . . there was nothing.
There was no reason for him to keep playing, no reason for him to experience the Zone again.
He didnât want to experience the Zone again--!
And yet he also did.
He wanted to play with Himuro next year.
He wanted to play against Kuroko, Akashi, and all his middle school teammates.
He wanted to go into the Zone again.
And he didnât know why.
Groaning, Murasakibara threw an arm over his eyes, closing them and trying to block out the world. He heard his phone buzz. He threw out his other arm, groping around to find his phone. Squinting at the bright screen, he realized it was a text--
A text from Kuroko.
Did you come to the match today Murasakibara-kun?
Debating with himself for a few moments, Murasakibara shook his head at himself when he realized he wanted to reply.
yeah. congrats or whatever
He waited, tensely, for a reply.
Thank you. I was very proud of my team.
Murasakibara rolled his eyes at the response. âTypical Kuro-chin,â he grumbled to himself. But before he could tell Kuroko to leave him alone if thatâs all he wanted to say, Kuroko sent another text.
Did you see that they were selling limited-edition sweets there today? I got some for you because I was not certain if you were there.
Murasakibaraâs eyes gleamed. This. This was the reason he was friends with Kuroko.
And without realizing that he had started to think of Kuroko as a friend once more, he rapidly texted back, forgetting any reluctance and annoyance heâd previously had in a single moment.
Deep thoughts about annoying things could be saved for another time. Limited-edition sweets were far more important.
~
Kuroko's Birthday, January 31st, First Year of High School
Kuroko was thankful that Akashi had arranged a practice match between Rakuzan and Yosen in Tokyo yesterday, otherwise he doubted Murasakibara would have showed up at all. It was wonderful to see everyone again, but it was especially wonderful that they were all there for his birthday.
As they played match after match on the street court, he couldnât help the small grin that he constantly wore on his face. He remembered playing in these various teams of three all the time in middle school, memories that were quite fond in the early days. While they had become tainted with the awful things that happened later on, it now felt like all the pain, anger, and guilt had been excised from those memories.
Kuroko was sure that the others had those memories too, but now all that was left was the enjoyment of the game that they all shared.
He could even see a smile on Murasakibaraâs face as they played. Despite the complaints he muttered about them all being fanatics and the way he was constantly saying that he was exhausted from the practice matches between Rakuzan and Yosen the day before, he still kept playing until the rest of them decided to stop too.
After they took a group photo and Kuroko invited them all to the party that Kagami was hosting for his birthday, they all walked towards Kagamiâs apartment. Momoi (he wasnât sure he wanted to know why she knew everyoneâs addresses) was leading the way with Akashi while Midorima, Kise, and Aomine argued. But Murasakibara was being quiet enough that he wasnât dragged into their arguing (for once).
Kuroko fell back to walk next to him.
âDid you have a good day, Murasakibara-kun?â
Murasakibara jumped slightly, before giving him a bored look. âEhh. It was annoying, but fine, I guess.â
Kuroko smiled, because (for Murasakibara) that was basically admitting that heâd had fun. âAre you excited to--â
âDonât think that just because I went into the Zone you know how I feel,â Murasakibara snapped, cutting him off and clearly misunderstanding what his question had been about. Kuroko had been planning to ask if he was excited to eat, but well, they might as well have this conversation.
âI donât know how you feel,â Kuroko agreed easily enough. And Murasakibara was surprised enough by this acknowledgement that he fell silent beside him. âI donât know what the Zone is like, and I doubt I will ever know, no matter how much I love basketball. So I will only say to you what I have said many times before. And this time, I hope that you will actually hear me: Donât squander the gifts you have been given. Please play your hardest, Murasakibara-kun.â Kuroko turned to look at Murasakibara as he walked, before nodding and speeding up to leave Murasakibara behind.
He had so much more he wanted to say. But somehow, he didnât think Murasakibara was quite ready to talk about any of this. Thatâs why he was so surprised when Murasakibara said, quietly, âIâm not gonna quit my team.â
Kurokoâs pace stuttered with surprise, unsure if maybe he should slow back down to talk more or simply walk in silence. Or if Murasakibara would take that as Kuroko returning to say that heâd been right all along. So instead, he just murmured, âIâm glad,â and poked Aomine in the back to startle him.
He was easily swept up in his other friendsâ conversation, but he kept an eye on Murasakibara all evening long. He tried not to be pleased about the fact that he was pretty sure that playing with them today had been a big part of Muraskibaraâs reason for deciding to keep playing. But he failed, miserably.
Especially given the fact that he was watching all his friends celebrate his birthday with him, both on the court and off. In truth, he couldnât stop smiling all day.
~
Vorpal Sword vs Jabberwock , Post-Interhigh, Second Year of High School
Getting benched with a hurt wrist in the middle of the game against Team Jabberwock sucked.
Because being able to play his hardest with a team that could keep up with him? Honestly, it was one of the best feelings Murasakibara had ever felt. And even if he had refused to admit it to anyone else aloud, he had finally become comfortable with the fact that he liked basketball at least a little after he had decided to keep playing basketball.
But even though he was missing out on playing, the feeling that came when their team won the game was . . .
Indescribable.
It made him want to play a thousand more games with the Miracles and Yosen and all of his friends.
~
It was one thing to hear that Kagami was leaving. It was another for Kagami to actually leave. Sitting outside the airport on a bench with his middle school teammates surrounding him, he watched the planes take off and rise through the sky, above the clouds. He knew that Kagami was in one of those planes . . . and he actually felt somewhat sad about it.
âHuh, heâs really gone,â Kise realized with a downcast look on his face.
âNow weâll never play with him again,â Murasakibara frowned, pausing in rummaging around in his bag of chips. âNot that I care,â he added.
âThatâs not true,â Midorima asserted, turning to look at him.
âHuh?â Muraskibara asked.
Aomine, glaring angrily at the road, grumbled. âIâm going to America.â
âWhat?â Kise asked. âTo see Kagamicchi?â
âOf course not, idiot! Iâm obviously going to play in the NBA.â Aomine declared loudly.
Kise jumped, turning to stare at him with surprise. âWhat? When?â
âI donât know yet,â Aomine dismissed him, as if blustering could cover up the fact that he definitely didnât actually have any concrete plans, âbut Iâm definitely going soon.â
Murasakibara decided to ignore them. They were both idiots anyway. At least Midorima was a little less stupid (and a lot more mean). âMido-chin, what are you talking about?â
Midorimaâs gaze had returned to the sky and planes above them. âI could ask you the same thing. Â A slight smile curved over his face. âArenât we going to keep playing basketball?â
He looked back at the rest of them, but Murasakibara didnât want to say âyes,â even if it was true.
âMidorimaâs right,â Akashi spoke up, his hands elegantly folded together in his lap. âKagamiâs just playing somewhere else now.â He turned his whole face up to the heavens. âAs long as we keep playing basketball, weâll fight him again.â
See you again soon, Kagami, Murasakibara thought, strengthening his resolve and pushing any sadness he might have felt away. He reached for a handful of chips and turned his gaze at the planes overhead like the rest of his friends had.
When they met up with Seirin at the front of the airport to take the bus back together, it felt like it was on purpose that Kuroko chose to sit down in the seat next to him.
Aomine and Kise battled for Kurokoâs attention as much as they did anything else. Midorimaâs scoldings just added more noise to the mess. Murasakibara decided that ignoring Midorima was his best bet to avoid being scolded by Akashi--a terrifying prospect. In truth, only Akashiâs iron-clad control over the worst of all of their behavior stopped them from being kicked-off the bus all together. Seirin was surprisingly noisy too, but Murasakibara supposed that made sense. Kuroko wouldnât know what to do with a peaceful, calm team.
He and Kuroko sat together for most of the ride, not often interacting with each other given all the chaos that was around them. When they finally got close to their stop, he offered some of his sugary snacks to Kuroko. Kuroko took a vanilla wafer with a small smile.
Staring directly at the seat in front of him as he spoke, Murasakibara finally said. âI like playing basketball.â
It was something he wasnât sure heâd admit to anyone else in the world besides Kuroko--except probably Himuro and maybe Akashi.
Kuroko simply said: âI know.â
He scowled. âUgh, youâre so self-righteous, Kuro-chin. I still donât think that liking basketball makes me, or anyone else, a better player or anything!â
âI know.â Kuroko didnât push the point, like Murasakibara had feared he would.
So he heaved a sigh and changed the subject. âI wish youâd just shut up sometimes.â
âI know,â Kuroko said, but he was smiling.
Murasakibara couldnât stop the smile that was growing on his own face, thankful that Kuroko wasnât making a big deal out of this. He was simply letting this moment happen between just them, without the scrutiny of their ex-teammates or Kurokoâs current teammates.
This time, when he felt that warmth in his chest he associated with friendship, that itch in his soul to play, he chose to smile instead of frown.
For once, he chose to lay down his shield, his walls, and let those feelings in.
He wanted to play. He loved to play. And he wouldnât have it any other way. After all, he may have to say goodbye to friends over the years, but one thing he wanted to hold on tight to was basketball. As long as he kept playing, he would see friends heâd thought were long gone, friends like Kuroko, again.
And that was why he would never stop playing basketball.

Connections in PreCure Civilian Names (Updated)
If you donât see a Cure, I found no relevant connection.
Sometimes I looked to Google Translate for help.
These are only connections Iâve noticed on my own. Please let me know which connections Iâve missed!
Honoka Yukishiro (Cure White) - âYukishiroâ means âsnow white.â
Hikari Kujo (Shiny Luminous) - âHikariâ is just the literal word for âlight,â alluding to her role in the series.
Saki Hyuuga (Cure Bloom/Bright) - âSakiâ means âbloomâ or âblooming.â âHyuugaâ can mean âfacing the sunâs directionâ; if youâre wondering what relevance that has, look what type of flower appears in Bloomâs transformation.
Mai Mishou (Cure Egret/Windy) - âshouâ can mean âfly,â referring to the egret bird.
Nozomi Yumehara/Cure Dream - âNozomiâ can mean either âhopeâ or âwish,â as she introduces herself as the Cure of hope (I think). âYumeâ means âdream.â
Rin Natsuki/Cure Rouge - âNatsuâ means âsummer,â referencing her fire powers.
Komachi Akimoto/Cure Mint - âAkiâ means âfall,â which could refer to the leaves behind her transformation. But, like, thatâs the best I can do with that.
Karen Minazuki/Cure Aqua - Itâs not exact, but her last name contains âMi__zu__â which means âwater.â
Love Momozono/Cure Peach - âMomoâ can mean either âpeach,â or a word for âpink.â âLoveâ obviously refers to her heart theme.
Miki Aono/Cure Berry - âAonoâ means âof blue.â âMikiâ is used for a lot of blue magical girls (Sayaka, Mew Mintâs pet dog, the Amulet Spade Chara), though it means âbeautiful tree.â
Inori Yamabuki/Cure Pine - âInoriâ means âprayer,â referring to her transformation phrase and attacks, where you can hear her use the word.
Setsuna Higashi/Cure Passion - âHigashiâ means âEast,â referring to her previous role as Eas. âSetsunaâ can mean âpreciousâ or âbeloved,â possibly referring to her newfound friendships.
Tsubomi Hanasaki/Cure Blossom - âTsubomiâ means âbud,â as in flower bud, and âHanasakiâ means âblooming flower or blossom.â
Yuri Tsukikage/Cure Moonlight - âYuriâ means âlily,â her personal flower, and âTsukikageâ literally translates to âmoon shadow,â oddly enough.
Hibiki Hojo/Cure Melody - âHibikiâ means âresoundâ or âsoundâ (though âsoundâ is usually translated as âoto.â) This also goes for Hibiki Tachibana, of course.
Kanade Minamino/Cure Rhythm - âKanadeâ means âbeautiful soundâ or âplaying music.â This also goes for Kanade Amou.
Eren Kurokawa/Cure Beat - âKuroâ means âblack,â possibly alluding to the fact that Eren used to be a black cat.
Ako Shirabe/Cure Muse - âShirabeâ means ânoteâ or âtune.â This also goes for Shirabe Tsukuyomi.
Miyuki Hoshizora/Cure Happy - âHoshizoraâ means âstarry sky.â This isnât a direct reference to her, but a starry sky can be considered a setting for fairy tale.
Akane Hino/Cure Sunny - âAkaâ means âred,â which might be a reason why some people list her as a red cure when she is clearly orange. âHinoâ means âof fire.â This also goes for Rei Hino.
Yayoi Kise/Cure Peace - âKiâ can mean âyellow,â though I know the translation better as âKiiro.â
Nao Midorikawa/Cure March - âMidoriâ means âgreen.â This also goes for Izuku Midoriya (happy birthday to him, btw).
Reika Aoki/Cure Beauty - âReikaâ means âbelow zero,â according to Google Translate, referring to her ice powers, though the name has multiple meanings; another is âbeautiful.â âAoâ means âblue.â
Mana Aida/Cure Heart - âAiâ means âlove.â
Rikka Hishikawa/Cure Diamond - âRikkaâ also has several meanings, though one is âsnowâ or âsnowflake,â referring to her ice powers.
Makoto Kenzaki/Cure Sword - âKenâ means either âbladeâ or âsword.â
Megumi Aino/Cure Lovely - âMegumiâ can mean âloveâ or âaffection.â âAinoâ means âof love.â This also goes for Minako Aino.
Hime Shirayuki/Cure Princess - âHimeâ means âprincess.â âShirayukiâ means âwhite snow,â probably alluding to the famous princess.
Yuko Omori/Cure Honey - âmoriâ means âforest,â maybe referring to her clover theme.
Haruka Haruno/Cure Flora - âHarunoâ means âof spring,â referring to the season her element is associated with. The same goes for her first name.
Minami Kaido/Cure Mermaid - âKaidoâ doesnât seem to mean anything relevant, but itâs similar to âKaioh,â Sailor Neptuneâs last name. âMinamiâ means âsouth,â though I donât know if thatâs supposed to mean something.
Kirara Amanogawa/Cure Twinkle - From first to last name, it translates literally as âtwinkling Milky Way.â
Towa Akagi/Cure Scarlet - âAkaâ means âred.â
Mirai Asahina/Cure Miracle - âMiraiâ means âfuture.â I didnât actually watch all of Mahoutsukai, so I donât know if thatâs relevant.
Kotoha Hanami/Ha/Cure Felice - âHaâ means âleaf,â which is in, like, all of her names. âHanamiâ means âflower viewing,â an actual pastime in Japan where people picnic near the newly-bloomed sakura trees.
Ichika Usami/Cure Whip - Itâs not exact, but âUsagi means ârabbit,â referring to her animal theme. Thus is where Sailor Moonâs first name comes from.
Himari Arisugawa/Cure Custard - âHiâ can mean âsun,â which is sometimes portrayed as yellow.
Aoi Tategami/Cure Gelato - From first to last name, it translates literally as âblue mane.â
Akira Kenjou/Cure Chocolat - âAkiraâ contains âak__a,â which means âred.â
Ciel Kirahoshi/Cure Parfait - âCielâ is French for âsky.â âKirahoshiâ means âtwinkling stars,â which could refer to the ethereal nature of her animal theme, as does Ciel.
Hana Nono/Cure Yell - âHanaâ means âflower,â referring to one of her attack themes and part of her outfit.
Saaya Yakushiji/Cure Ange - This one might be a stretch. Yakushi-ji is a Buddhist temple in Japan; its main attraction is âThe Medicine Buddha,â which could reference her introducing herself as âHealing everyone!â
Homare Kagayaki/Cure Etoile - âHomareâ means âhonor,â which could refer to her character arc of self-acceptance. âKagayakiâ means âshining,â referring to her golden-like theme.
Ruru Amour/Cure Amour - âRuruâ is a reference to R.U.R., a 1920s play that brought the word ârobotâ into modern usage, referring to her true nature. So itâs not Lulu. âAmourâ is French for âlove,â referring to her and Macherieâs theme.
Emiru Aisaki/Cure Macherie - âAisakiâ means âblooming love.â
Hikaru Hoshina/Cure Star - âHikaruâ means âbright,â âshimmerâ or âgleam.â âHoshiâ means âstar.â
Lala Hagoromo/Cure Milky - âHagoromoâ refers to a few things, but the anime makes it clear what the fake name specifially refers to. I forget which one, but I think itâs either for a space orbiter or an old Japanese play about a swan maiden.
Elena Amamiya/Cure Soleil - âElenaâ is a multilingual name that means âbrightâ or âshining light,â referring to her sun theme.
Madoka Kaguya/Cure Selene - âKaguyaâ refers to a Japanese story involving a princess of the moon.
Yuni/Cure Cosmo - âYuniâ is supposed to refer to how Japan pronounces the word âuniverse,â in reference to the outer space themes.
Nodoka Hanadera/Cure Grace - âHanaâ means âflower.â
Chiyu Sawaizumi/Cure Fontaine - âChiyuâ can mean âhealingâ or âcure,â though since sheâs not the main cure I donât know why she gets to be named after the seasonâs main theme. âSawaizumiâ can mean âmarsh/stream fountain.â
Hinata Hiramitsu/Cure Sparkle - âHiâ means âsun,â which refers to her bright powers. âHinataâ means âsunny place.â Although not exact, âHiromitsuâ means âwide light.â Interestingly, âmitsuâ is a word for âthree,â which could reference her being the third Cure in her team.
Asumi Fuurin/Cure Earth - âAsuâ is just how the Japanese pronounce the English word âearth.â So Cure Earthâs civilian name is literally the same. âFuuâ means âwind,â referring to her actual element. The same goes for Fuu Hououji.

Dating GOM's Sister!
Anime: Kuroko no Basuke
Overview: Headcanons about GOM (Aomine, Akashi, Kise, Kuroko, and Midorima) having a younger sister who is dating one of them!
Note: Sorry I didn't include Murasakibara! I just got really lazy. :(
âą-â-âą
Aomine Daiki
"I'll give you what you ever desire, break up with my sister." Akashi offered, glaring at his former tanned teammate. "Sei-nii! That's it! We're leaving." You forcefully removed Akashi's grip on your shoulder, having a silent eye battle as you slammed the door on his face. Akashi did not support you relationship, not even a bit.
Aomine is known to be a player, a pervert, and a lazy man. How could Akashi let his sister fall inlove with him? Akashi just wants the best for his sister. After a year of having a hot and cold relationship with your brother, Aomine knocked some sense into him. Needless to say, Akashi was impressed and saw no more reason to object seeing how his friend's true intention.
"I'm glad you're not the same as your brother." Aomine confesses. Although you are very identical to your older brother, you were the exact opposite of him in terms of personality. You were outgoing and emotionally-driven. Aomine did not see you for your wealth, achievements, or anything! He saw you for you, that made you fall for him despite being mean to you during the first meeting.
You were waiting for your brother so the both of you could go home together. When the gym doors ooen, you dashed towards the entrance, bumping into what seemed like a wall to you but it was actually Aomine. When you looked up, you felt chills run up to your spine, the way he glared at you, it was horrifying.
"How long are you going to sit down, brat? Move."
After that, you kept following him and pestering him even if he gave you mean comments that made you cry. Whenever you cry, Aomine panics. He'd scratch his head and say sorry multiple times, cursing, he'll offer a hug. "Stop crying or I'll kiss you." This just made you want to cry harder.
You'll help Aomine in his study and reprimands him for skipping practices. You're the only one who is allowed to correct him and he's the only one who can bully you.
If you ever did get bully, you have bodyguards ready to protect you in command, a scary powerful brother, and a tall tanned boyfriend built like he's ready to fight.
Aomine will never try to make you uncomfortable. He respects you even if he makes sexual comments, he would never push you to do something you don't like to do. That's how much he treasures you.
"(y/n), where's my kiss?" He grinned at you, bending down so you were at the same height. Rolling your eyes, he always asks for kisses before the game which you thought was very cute of him to do. Without hesitation, you kissed his lips. "Go get them, Dai-kun."
Akashi Seijuro
Dating Murasakibara's sister is not something anyone would expect from him. You are reckless, bold, and most of all childish! The complete opposite of Akashi! People can't help but question how you managed to soften the merciless captain of Rakuzan.
"Sei-kun!" Everytime you see your significant other, you would pounce on him, hugging his well-built frame. Akashi would glare at those who would stare, telling them to look away just by staring straight to their eyes.
Akashi would always give you sweets but scolds not only you, but your brother too when you both had too much. "(y/n), I love you but no. I already booked you an appointment." Akashi is persistent to have you attend a dentist appointment atleast once a month to ensure you don't develop any cavities.
When it comes to your brother, he does not really care who you date as long as they treat you well and you're happy but he is really relieved you're dating Akashi. That does not mean he won't crush him when he makes you cry.
People ridicule your relationship, especially the higher class who wants Akashi for their own benefits. Sometimes they go to the extent of hiring people to hurt you, ending up with a failure. There are several perks of having a tall brother who is excellent in basketball, one is he can easily scare of whoever is bothering you, second, you know how to defend yourself when needed.
Whenever those stuck-up bitches shows up, you can't help but show your devilish side. "Eh, I don't care. Get out of my way, bitch." Youmd play with your lollipop, staring down at the crying girl, yelling she'd sue you after you humiliated her.
Akashi will feel proud whenever you stood up for yourself, placing a soft kiss on your forehead and you'd immediately linked your arms around his neck. "Sei-kun, I'm starving~"
He'll always eat you with you, this is somehow like your love language towards one another. You sometimes even go to his school just to eat your bento that you prepared for him. His team is jealous on how a sweet and cute girl ended up dating Akashi.
They are always surprised to see Akashi showing subtle affections. Teasing him about you is a death sentence despite the fluttery feeling in his stomach. Flirting with you? That's a different story.
"(y/n), what am I going to do with you?" Akashi sighed, a smile forming on his lips. You were sleeping on the bleachers and it made him want to carry you home and skip practice but he knows you'll get mad at him if he did. He grabbed his jacketand covered your defense-less state, planting a chaste kiss on your lips. Little did he know, you were actually awake. "Ooh, I didn't know Sei-kun's a pervert!" He would ruffle your hair. "You dare to misbehave, huh? I might have to teach you a lesson, love."
Kise Ryouta
Kise is not really fond of Aomine. Sure they are friends friends but he still had grudges against him. So seeing you, beating the shit out of Aomine, that was something extraordinary. The way the sun highlighted your tanned skin and dark blue hair, Kise fell for you at first sight.
"(y/n)-cchi! I bought you some cake!" Kise always bothered you, he was clingy and chatty. You were annoyed at him at first, who wouldn't? Kise followed you everywhere like some kind of lost puppy! He cried easily was too noisy, yet when a week went by and he was no where to be found, you felt sad. You somehow missed his presence, that's when you realised, you too were inlove with him.
"(y/n)-cchi? What are you doing here..?" Kise did not expect to see you. It was raining heavily and you were drenched from head to toe. Kaijou just lost to Seirin, Kise was feeling down for his first loss. All his own issues faded when you grabbed him by his collar, pressing your lips against his.
Kise's eyes widened, you pulled away, placing your hands on both sides of his face. "Who told you to leave me alone? Huh?! Can't you see I like you too?" He blinked, several times, unable to register what just happened.
"Eh...Ehhhh?!"
Kise became 1000x more clingy after that.
His fangirls are difficult to handle. They always picked a fight on you, saying how you do not meet the Kise's standards. You don't give a fuck of whatever they say about you, you actually enjoy how they cowered in fear and bite back their words whenever you'd look at them with a smirk.
One thing that pissed you off though is when they made nasty comments about your boyfriend. You stopped in your tracks, fist clenched, you turned back, launching your fist towards the girl. She screamed and closed her eyes, waiting for the impact, you stopped your fist an inch away from her face. She fell on the floor, her friends made a run for it.
"Aplogise, bitch." She apologised immediately before scampering away, you'd sigh. "Such a pain in the ass.."
Kise knows about your "little fights" since Kasamatsu actually witnessed the whole thing. He feels honored and proud that his girlfriend stood up for him, your cuts and bruises on the other hand angered him. Kise always made sure to keep you out of trouble after that.
Kise is the only one who can calm you down, only one who can make you smile and act stupid. Your his partner in crime, his princess and his knight, he is very grateful to have you.
Despite how strong you can be, Kise can also fight for you if needed. You need him more than he needs you, without him, everything is off balance.
Aomine bullies him more now that he's your boyfriend.
"(y/n)-cchi! Aomine-cchi is being mean to me!"
"DAMN IT DAIKI! LEAVE HIM ALONE!"
When the two of you are together, that's the only time you are vulnerable. In his arm you feel safe, he felt like home.
"I love you, dumbass."
Kuroko Tetsuya
The whole Seirin team was stunned to see you, sitting on one of the bleachers absorbed in your phone. Kagami's eyes widened, he recognises you! "S-She's (y/n)! A model in the US!" He exclaimed, making the rest more confused on why someone like you is in their gym right now. Even Riko could not dare to get closer, everyone stood frozen once you glanced at them, staring at them one by ine before your face lit up.
You stood up, smiling widely, before waving. "Kuro-tan! I missed you!" Kuroko coughed, excusing himself as he pass through the crow, greeting you with open arms which you gladly run into. "(y/n)-chan, you didn't tell me you were arriving today."
You would explain to the whole team that you're Kuroko's girlfriend and confirm that you are a model from the US. One thing that caught the team off guard is when Riko asked you if you were somehow related to Kise Ryouta.
"Kise..? Ryou-nii? Yes he's my brother."
The team bombarded you with questions, you were now getting slightly overwhelmed by them. You held out to your boyfriend looking at him teary eyed, he immediately know what you're feeling. "Everyone, you're scaring (y/n)-chan."
Once everything died down, you watched their practice, cheering for your cute boyfriend with Nigou. After practice, Kuroko and you would eat at Majii Burger, catching up and deep talks.
That's where you confessed that you won't go back to the US anymore and transfer to his school. You resigned from your position in the entertainment industry and will now focus on being a (career choice) instead.
Kuroko is the type of boyfriend who is kind of like a dog, he is super loyal to you and no matter what you do as long as it doesn't hurt anyone around you or you, he supports. He may be seen as emotionless but to you, he show all kinds of emotions, love, happiness, jealousy, and he gets super cute when embarrassed.
You always cling on to him, yelling his name with love everytime you see him, crying easily and him comforting you everytime. The team takes a like to you too, you're not really that difficult to get along with.
Riko would ask for help in their training regimen, Kagami also likes hanging out with the two of you (he'll get angry when you get too pda and overbearing though). Overall, you were like their cute little sister who they protect.
So whenever someone gets close to you, as you are famous with both boys and girls, they'll spring inti action and help you out.
You may not be as strong as others mentally and physically, you won't back down when the people you love are messed upon.
When Hanamiya glared at Kuroko, you glared 1000x harder than him. Especially when they hurt , oh you knew you had to talk to him, you stomped your way to their side of the court. You put your best smile, calling him out. "Hanamiya-san, can I shake your hand. I am a fan."
He would snicker, holding out his hand with a few flirty remarks. When you grabbed his hand though, you crushed it using all your strength and he whimpered in pain. Hanamiya cursed, holding his hand. "Oops, did I squeezed too hard?"
He was ready to fight you but seeing several eyes on him, the whole GOM, and Seirin team watching him, he decided not to push further.
Kuroko would scold you though, flicking your forehead before kissing it.
3 words. Best. Boyfriend. Ever.
One thing you hated was sharing Kuroko with your brother. "Ryou-nii! We're supposed to make out now! Get out!"
Midorima Shintaro
A Tsundere and a Phantom, what a perfect couple. Kidding. Midorima never thought about dating, the idea of love is not something he minded but when you spiked the ball directly into his face and breaking his glasses, he fell for you, literally.
"Oh, Midorima-kun, sorry!"
Just like your brother, Kuroko, you don't have a lot of presence. He actually taught you how to master misdirection which is a useful skill in your sport, Volleyball. It just happened that you're enrolled in Shutoku and was practicing your one-man spike while he walked into the court.
After that, you kept talking to him. You did not have a lot of friends except for your teammates and you saw Midorima as like your second brother.
Midorima would never admit that he likes you until Takao began to get close to you.
"(y/n)-san, Ilikeyounandayo."
You'd tease him with Takao, copying the way he acts. You'll learn more about horoscopes and oh asa and would always surprise him infront of his house with his lucky item for the day.
Although Midorima is not affectionate, he'll try his best to make you feel that he loves you in his own little way. He would even learn to play volleyball just to play with you. He's a great setter!
Your go to dates would be study hubs, museums, and stargazing.
Since you're very small compated to him, Midorima likes to hold your hand just so you won't get lost. "Shintaro, we're the only ones here." He'd flinched and stammer upon realising you are the only one walking around the park.
Kuroko knows your dating ever since the first day. Kuroko is always there to listen to your rants about your day so it is not a surprise when he sees Midorima eating with your family, stiff like a rock.
"Midorima-kun? Are you okay?" He asked and all of the eyes are now own Midorima who just wanted to crawl to a hole and never come back.
You would go to all his games, offering him a towel. He'll get startled whenever you show up out of the blue though. Takao always teases the two of you which ends up into Midorima beating him up.
Dating Midorima as Kuroko's sister is plain chill, no drama or anything. Both are honest and mindful.
Getting used to hanging out with 2 phantoms would be something he needs to get used to.
"(y/n)?! WHERE'D YOU GO?"
"Shintaro, I'm right infront of you."

todayâs writing:
âwips: gsnkxknb///mikorin&aomine, touken//things you said, kise as mosquito, kagakuromomo//on-momo, momoriko//bath, aokaga//drunk, kikuro//stomach
âMIKORIN AND AOMINE FRIENDSHIP. I donât know but I thought they could be friends, or at least, get along, as I was slapping down my other gsnk/knb idea. I forgot what hit off me writing this one but anyways, yeah. Iâm writing this diff other crossover with them!! im unsure tho of the characterisations and how the actually hell to write them but so!! excited !!!
âtouken, my beloved <3 ok so Iâve been reading this knb author to writes drabbles and put them all together in one fic and I really really liked their style and wanted to try it out and when I came across that prompt thing I have tried before and really liked, I wanted to do it! I decided to do it for my beloved, touken because why not. I got started on it! not a promising start, Iâll say. like I do want to change things around but I do like it itâs very cute them r the best <3
âstarted this wip of kise cursed to a mosquito, inspired by art. IT WAS SUPPOSED HUMOR BUT ANGST DROPPED. this one might be kikuro, but also might just turn out to be gen. shrugs. like ??? do not know where Iâm going with this fic. I am bewildered i actually wrote this lol
âthinking about kuromomo again, especially even more since I have been rewatching and got to the todou vs seirin match and noticed that Kuroko never really denies any of the claims of her being her girlfriend or ex-girlfriend which really interested me. it was, honestly, just gonna be a kagami notices that and asks kuroko BUT UH. it turned into kagamomo??? and also kuromomo??? and it might also be aokuromomo, as well fjkfkfkfk. I really love my poly ships < 3 WHY HAVE ONE WHY CAN HAVE ALL!!! but the thing is. I didnât even really ship kagamomo prior to this! I did see it around, read this thing but never really shipped to the point of actually looking for content but now? NOW. well. I really want to write aokagakuromomo but where kaga & kuro are just friends
âokay, I finally dragged my ass to work on my wips instead of just continuously creating new ones. worked on the momoriko because Iâve was huh, thatâs one is close to finish & because I was in the mood for them. I checked and apparently it isnât⊠I donât know why I thought it was but I HAVE WORKED OUT THIS THING THAT HAS BEEN BOTHERING ME. which! is! good! what isnât good: everything else. fuckkkk why is smut so hard to write for. so much deleting and rewriting, ha. T.T butâŠpracticeâŠmakes perfectâŠ. I am proud of myself! I preserved instead of immediately dropping it like a hot potato when it got difficult. okay, so i got to a decent part Iâm satisfied with it. thereâs only this little part that bothers and I want to revise, but Iâll do that maybe tmmr because I most definitely need the break now. like oh man, I wrote +211 words but the MENTAL EFFORT IT TOOK. one day!! im going to master smut writing!! and itâs going to breeze
âworking on some easy and light stuff because I most definitely need it after that effort I went to. the aokaga drunk one!! because I already know where to go with, where to end and stuff. can see the whole fic â I was just. procrastinating working on it. I edited! I wrote some bit! I couldâve probably worked on more, but well. I donât want to push myself again, and take it easy. Focusing is so hard, urgh.
âworked on kikuro stomach wip! (lol, that name) and edited!!! and wrote a little more!! wasnât much but itâs something.

AkaKuro Day 4 (April 14) - Outcome | Balance | Connection Quote: âIâve known all along.â
Iâm sorry guys. This one isnât all that great because itâs mostly a recycled fic. In actuality itâd be multi chaptered but I broke it up for this. Yet somehow it took hours to do it?? I give up. WHy do I even try??
Anyway, itâs yazuka/spy themed au this time. Kinda.
Calling him a spy would be going too far.
Sure he snuck into and infiltrated the current reigning yakuza. Sure he stalks their leader and skulks around the place trying to find insider information. And sure he eventually reports his findings to the yakuzaâs rival gangâŠ.
âŠ.So yeah, he was a spy.
In all honesty, Kuroko didn't plan on staying long, as he was ordered to just recover information pertaining to certain deals and find weak link members. All which he did rather successfully. Not a single person figured it out when a few documents went missing. It led to the mysterious disappearance of two men however. Kuroko inwardly apologized to them but a job was a job.
Hopefully, if things went smoothly, Ogiwara would be able to extract him within a week. Or at least, that was the plan.
His phone pinged, notifying him itd a text message.
[Trick Akashi SeijĆ«rĆ into accepting a deal from MeikĆ.]
âDamn it, Shige, what do you think I am?â
See, there was a slight problem here.
Akashi SeijĆ«rĆ was the boss. As in the infamously cruel man who had no qualms with doing what needed to be done or getting his hands dirty. As in the person whose perception skills outmatched those of a detective's. His moral code was more questionable than one's too.
In just the few brief meetings during his time here, he came to realize just how strong the Akashi's presence really was. And Kuroko wasn't about to have a tĂȘte-Ă -tĂȘte with the most powerful and intimidating man in the country.
He could, on the other hand, talk to them.
Them being Akashi's inner circle, of course.
During his time here over the past year or so, he somehow ended up getting along with most of them, the only exception being the boss's right hand man. Of course he didn't exactly plan on getting close to any of them in the start. Too risky. Instead, they ended up talking to him first.
The first one he met was Aomine Daiki. He usually played a roll as Akashiâs bodyguard. They first spoke when Aomine caught him when he knocked Kuroko over on the staircase, almost causing him to tumble down. He ignored him for awhile but suddenly the man started to be strangely friendly. Kuroko brushed it off since Aomine seemed harmless enough.
From there he met Momoi Satsuki and Kise Ryouta when the three of them bumped into each other while carrying documents. Apparently these had specialized skills that were deemed important enough to keep close. Kuroko decided not to underestimate them because of their cheerful and eccentricity. He has yet to find out more. The closeness they forced into made for plenty opportunities at least.
Following the cheery duo came the stone-faced one. Few things he learned about about Midorima Shintarou were that he was an organized man, was really good at his job, and had a thing for Oha Asa. Oh, and that he absolutely hated Kuroko's guts.
âKuro-chin, there you are.â
Of course. How could he forget about Murasakibara Atsushi. When Midorima wasn't by the boss's side, this guy was. He was probably the tallest person he had ever had the displeasure of meeting. One thing he knew for sure about this guy was that despite his lazy personality, he was not to be messed with. His loyalty to Akashi was fearsome. It made Kuroko wonder when and why he was being so...fond?
âHello, Murasakibara-kun,â he greeted, slipping his phone into his back pocket, nearly dropping the documents clutched under his arm in the process.
âWeâre having a meeting in a hour.â
âOk?â Everyone knew about it. The boss often calls his inner circle in for meetings, which in turn became a popular gossip topic as members would try to guess what they were about.
The giant glanced away, thinking, before realizing what was wrong. âAh, and you're to be there.â
That can't be good.
âI see. Thank you for telling me.â
Kuroko didn't give Murasakibara a chance to reply, opting to make his escape. The documents in his arms felt less important all the sudden. Maybe he could just leave then in Momoiâs office when she wasn't around. After, he would need to find a way out of this place wouldn't be suspicious. Forget about Ogiwaraâs orders. Even if they are childhood friends and the man helped him get jobs, he would have to let this one pass.
It was not worth his life.
Despite his decision, fate had different plans.
âKurokocchi~!â
Shit.
âKise-kun,â Kuroko spoke, mind racing, âwhat are doing here?â
The pretty blond didn't hold back from a chance to hug the smaller male. Kise had a wide grin plastered on his face when he finally released Kuroko from his grip.
âI'm here to make you make it to the meeting. Your lack of presence may make it difficult after all.â
That bad feeling Kuroko had? It just got worse.
âOh, are these the accounting documents Momocchi asked for? Are you delivering them?â Kise asked a few pages from the top of the pile.
This was one of the moments that Kuroko appreciated Kiseâs habit of quickly changing topics. With a sigh, he let him relax just enough to make sure the blond wouldn't realize how tense he really felt. âYes.â
âI'll take you there then!â
And that was how Kuroko found himself outside the door to Momoiâs office. He had given the documents to the girl and planned to sneak out while she was engaged in a conversation with Kise, but the topic of a certain individual came up which caught his attention.
â.....AkashiâŠ.planâŠâ
Akashi. It was only an hour, but if he could plant the idea of accepting the MeikĆ deal, whatever is was, into the heads of the boss's most important then maybe they would get him to accept it and Kuroko could still get paid. It was worth an attempt at least, but he gets an opportunity to escape before the meeting he will be sure to prioritize himself over the job.
âHey, can I talk you guys about a rumor I heard?â
He did it!
After forty minutes of convincing, he managed to talk them into bringing up the deal with Akashi. They left ahead of him to get to the meeting when Momoi asked Kise to help carry some things. Kuroko promised to be close behind once he finished cleaning up the documents âaccidentlyâ knocked over. He waved farewell, waiting for the door to shut before rushing over to the window.
Locked.
No big deal.
He wasted zero time. Kuroko pressed himself against the wooden office door, listening for the duoâs footsteps which have long faded. This might be his last chance. He'd have been smooth about this. Not act suspicious in any way. Tipping off the other members was the last thing he wanted.
He opened the door and dashed.
So far his plan was going smoothly. His lack of presence was beneficial in times like these.
At least right until he got captured.
An arm shot out nowhere, pulling him into the arms of another. Kuroko recognized the person as Aomine. He looked up in the surprise. He almost missed the man's rough apology for pulling him a little to hard. Of course. he wasn't sure what this meant either. Surely Aomine knew he was supposed to be at the meeting.
âSorry about this, Tetsu.â
Turned out he was right.
His face was met with a cloth. One with a very familiar smell. It was strong and made him dizzy. Oh, of course, it had to chloroform.
Everything went black.
âReally, RyĆta. I asked one thing and you couldn't even do that. You're lucky Daiki found him.â
âAkashicchi! Don't be angry! He promised!â
âAkashi.â
âWhat is it, ShintarĆ?â
âHe's waking.â
âOh, you're right. You all are dismissed now.â
Kuroko pressed a hand to temple. Vaguely recalling what exactly just happened. One thing was for certain: Akashi SeijĆ«rĆ knew exactly who he was.
âNot the outcome you expected, Kuroko Tetsuya?â
Blue orbs groggily found their way around the room before landing on the one who ruled the underground. The room was lavish, a fancy table with seven chairs stood as the centerpiece. The arrangement fit for Akashi would be sitting at the end, like he was doing now. From his place on the floor at the end, Kuroko found it to be rather intimidating.
He could hardly bring himself to speak. Not that he even could with whatever was gagging his mouth getting in the way.
âI must say,â the boss continued, âyour skills are very impressive. The others didn't figure it out until recently. I've had my eye on you for a long time now, Mr. Spy.â
This caused Kuroko to still. He was sure that his fear could be seen on his usually passive face.
âThat's right, Tetsuya. I've known all along.â
Ah. Does this mean this is where he will die?
âThe otherâs have taken a liking to you, you know,â Akashi said, amusement shining in those red eyes. âI have as well.â
Kuroko didn't know what to think as the yakuza boss approached him, kneeling to get to Kurokoâs eye level. He tried his best to increase the space between but failed, instead causing himself to fall over.
Catching him, Akashi gripped Kuroko's face, showing no gentleness when he forced the spy to met his gaze. âSay, how you like to work for me? In exchange⊠I'll let that childhood friend of yours live.â
âWhat do you say, Kuroko Tetsuya? Become mine.â

The Beginning (Ch1)
Murasakibara carelessly flops into his chair, which squeals in protest. He groans and runs a hand through his long hair in frustration. "Kise-chin, how do I get rid of them?" Â
Kise sets down his chopsticks in surprise while everyone else at the lunch table looks on in interest. It's rare that their tallest friend asks anything of anyone if it doesn't involve food, and it's usually Akashi or Kuroko that he goes to, so this is particularly strange. "Eh? You finally wanna know?! Gosh, I thought you didn't care! Okay, so I don't think shampoo is going to cut it at this point, because those split ends are bad. But don't worry! I'm pretty sure I can save at least-"
Murasakibara growls. "No. Girls. How do I get rid of them?"
"Girls?" Momoi repeats curiously.
Kise's face scrunches in confusion. "Isn't your face usually scary enough?" Murasakibara scowls at him but Kise feels vindicated by the cold sweat beading on his forehead. "S-Sorry, but I thought they usually avoided you..."
"It's the Home Economics class isn't it?" Deducts Akashi, before taking another dignified sip of his tea.
Murasakibara grunts his confirmation but Aomine still scratches his head at the conclusion. "What's Home Ec. gotta do with it?"
Midorima scoffs, pushing up his glasses with the finesse of any good Megane-type. "He recently transferred into that class after there was an opening, remember? That's the only obvious change in his school routine that comes to mind. Not to mention it's a predominantly female course." Â
Aomine rolls his eyes. "Oh I'm sorry, I didn't realize this was all so obvious. Thanks Wattson."
"Hey. Help." Murasakibara pokes Kise in the cheek for emphasis, which the blond bats away.
"Okay, so what's the problem?" Â
"They won't leave me alone."
Kise sighs. "Meaning?" Â Â
"They keep trying to cling onto me and confess, it's a bother." The giant slumps into his seat, reaching into his pocket to pull out a stick of Umaibo to eat.
Haizaki snorts, rolling his eyes. "Oh no. What a dilemma. God, what suffering you must endure. My heart goes out to you in these trying times-"
"Shut it Haizakicchi!...Ahem. Murasakibaracchi, what did you do to attract them anyways?" Kise laces his fingers together on the table and leans towards his friend as if to project a professional air.
"Haaaah, I don't know. The teacher was impressed with my cooking so he had me assist some people." Â
"I...I see..." Momoi mutters with a glazed look in her eyes.
They could all see it. Murasakibara with his long hair pulled back into a ponytail, showing off his surprisingly handsome face. Him, tottering around the classroom in an apron, accidentally spewing lines out of a shoujo manga as he helps a bunch of very single and very imaginative teenage girls. No doubt they've clicked him into the trope of Jerk-With-A-Heart-Of-Gold who's both excitingly rugged and cute boyfriend material. Â
"Just tell them you aren't interested." Reasons Midorima.
"I did, but then they try harder."
Much like an insect caught in a web, the more he struggles the worse heâs entangled.
"Then just be meaner!" Then, as if to lead by example, Haizaki nabs a piece of sushi from Kuroko's lunch box and is quick to shove it in his mouth before anyone can object.
Just as Aomine angers on his behalf, Kuroko says, "It's fine." He then pushes the rest of his lunch towards Haizaki to avoid further drama and focuses on reading his book.
"Tch, don't encourage him Tetsu." Grumbles Aomine, leaning back in his seat and crossing his arms petulantly.
"Kise-chiiiin," Whines Murasakibara. "Help."
Kise can only shrug unsurely. "I don't know what to tell you, I usually just flirt with them a bit and excuse myself. I don't think that's really your style thought..."
"Ugh."
Seeing how disheartened he's becoming, Momoi thinks fast. "Hey Mu-kun, sometimes I just say I'm already taken. Maybe that'll work for you too?" She suggests.
"But what if they ask for proof?" Prods Midorima.
"You wouldn't owe them anything." Argues Akashi, setting down his cup.
Kise grimaces. "Fangirls are pretty persistent Akashicchi, I've had to deal with a stalker or two." He shutters at the memory. He never did get those shirts back.
Aomine gets a smug look on his face as he comes up with a solution. "Just pretend to date someone."
Haizaki immediately shoots him down. "That's fucking stupid."
Momoi cringes "He's right, fake-dating never works."
Kise agrees, even nodding knowledgably. "Someone always gets hurt, and since Murasakibaracchi isn't interested in anyone, it'll be the other person." Â
Haizaki snorts. "Who gives a shit, it's a problem solved. If they catch feelings, that's on them."
Akashi is the only one to notice that Murasakibara has been suspiciously quiet.
"That's not how it works Haizakicchi, haven't you watched a Rom-Com?!" Screeches Kise.
"Pfft, I'm not a pussy. I'm not surprised you watch that garbage though-" Â
Murasakibara cuts over Haizaki mid-sentence. "Hey, Kuro-chin," Â
"Yes Murasakibara-kun?"
"Be my boyfriend."
"Okay." Kuroko fails to even lower his book throughout the exchange.
There's a pregnant pause where everyone but the two involved look absolutely gobsmacked.
Momoi and Kise shriek in unison, almost as if practiced. "Heeeeh?!" Â
Even Aomine is in a state of disbelief. "Wait, what?" Â
"Are you fucking serious?! Why him?!" Â
Calmly, as if he isn't causing total anarchy at their table, Kuroko simply shrugs and replies with, "He asked."
Kise practically leaps from his chair and slams his hands against the tabletop with a loud smack. "Kurokocchi, be my boyfriend!"
"I'm sorry, I'm in a committed relationship."
"Ack! Kurokocchi stop playing with my heart!" Kise collapses back into his seat, dropping his head against the table with a sound thud. Momoi rubs his back in sympathy, a rather defeated expression on her face as well.
"Congratulations on your relationship, you have my support."
"Thanks Aka-chin."
AN: Idk?? What this is?? But I just love their relationship so I thought, 'Lets write a MuraKuro fic because there are none!' But then I thought, 'I just can't imagine them actually kissing.' and this beautiful AU was born. I ship Kuroko with too many people and I ship Murasakibara with Himuro, but I also feel it in my soul that they're somehow Ace.Not sure how many chapters this will have either, but I have some ideas. This'll also probably be a series of drabbles, so don't expect an over-arching plot or tight continuity.
Feel free to send it requests for future chapters! If you're Ace I'd love to hear from you in particular, since I myself am not. Updates will be sporadic o)-(

I really hope the askbox is open! What would be Aomine's reaction to the gom betting money on if his unborn child was going to have his hair colour or his s/o s hair colour. Turns out in the end he has twin boys and they have s/os hair colour but as they get older it begins to fade to his hair colour. Who wins the bet?
This is so cute I swear
âNe, Midorimacchi, youâre good at science arenât you? Are babies more likely to get their dadâs or their momâs hair colour?â, Kise asked.
Midorima sighed and pushed his glasses up his nose, âIt depends on who has the stronger genes Kise.â
âEh, I want it to be [F/N]-chinâs hair colour.â, Murasakibara said as he shoved a lollipop in his mouth.
âAnd why do you say that, Atsushi?â, Akashi asked.
â[F/N]-chinâs hair is nicer than Mine-chinâsâ, he replied.Â
âBut it would be cool if their child had Aominecchiâs hair~ssu!â, Kise exclaimed.
âI think Aomine-kunâs hair would be bestâ, Kuroko said.
âWAH KUROKOCCHIâ, Kise screamed as the phantom sixth man surprised him once again.
âPlease do not yell, Kise-kunâ, Kuroko said with a deadpanned stare.
âAccording to Oha Asa, the highest ranking is in [F/N]âs favour, nanodayo. The baby will be more likely to have her hair.â, Midorima said.
âI agree with Shintarou and Atsushi. [F/N] seems like she has the stronger genes.â Akashi said.
âWhy donât we bet on it?â, Kise exclaimed happily.
âIf Kise-chin loses then buy me a whole box of maiuboâ, Murasakibara said.
âYouâre not the only one voting for [F/N], Murasakibaraâ, Midorima said annoyed.
âHow about we make things simple. The losers have to confess that they were indeed betting on the hair colour of their child to Daiki and [F/N]â, Akashi said.
âMhm, theyâre sure going to get a huge scoldingâ, Kise said smirking.
âAgreedâ, Midorima said pushing his glasses up his nose.
âKurokocchi letâs do this!â, Kise said glomping him.
âPlease donât touch me, Kise-kun.â
âSo mean!â, Kise whined.
Time Skip
âHey babe, you feeling okay?â, Aomine asked as he stroked your hair.
âYeah, Iâm fine. Just a little tired.â, you yawned and sent him a tired smile.
Aomine kissed your forehead and then looked over to the two bundles of joy in the cradle.
âThey look just like youâ, he sighed.
âIs that a bad thing? Ahoâ, you said as you smacked his arm lightly.
He chuckled, âNah, itâs great. Now I have more beautiful things to look at.â
âShut up and stop being sweet.â
âDamn, I thought your mood swings would have been over by now. You sure youâve given birth to all the babies right? No more in there?â, he asked.
âDaiki what the fuck, how is that even possible?!â, you burst out laughing.
âWhat? Just asking.â
âOf course Iâm done giving birth, you dumbass.â
âHm good, now we can kick things up a notch in the bedroo-OW!â
âPervert.â
Soon after that the doors to your room burst open and the first person you saw running in was Kise.
âWHEREâS THE BABY?!â, he screamed and looked around frantically before his eyes landed on the two kids.
He saw strands of [h/c] hair on their head and his expression faltered.
âItâs not blue....â, he said softly.
âWhat are you talking about, Kise, baka?! You canât just barge in here!â, Aomine snapped.
âKise-kun I knew my fate was bad when I was paired with youâ, Kuroko said.
âWAH TETSUâ, Aomine yelped.
âBUT KUROKOCCHI YOU WERE THE ONE WHO-â
âStop being so loud, nanodayo. This is a hospitalâ, Midorima said.
âHello, Daiki, [F/N]. I apologize for the sudden intrusion.â, Akashi said.
âOh itâs okay, Akashi-kun.â, you said smiling.
âEh...itâs so....small. I could just...crush it....â
âOi Murasakibara! If you crush my kid Iâll kill youâ, Aomine snapped.
You giggled and Kise looked at you suddenly realizing how tired and weak you must be and how all his screaming didnât help.
â[F/N]-cchi, are you okay~ssu?â, he asked.
âIâm fine, Kise-kunâ, you said smiling.
â[F/N]-san needs to rest. We should goâ, Kuroko said.
âKuro-chin and Kise-chin need to say something firstâ, Murasakibara said.
âWhat is it?â, you and Aomine asked in unison.Â
âEheheh, well....we had a bet....about whoâs hair your children would haveâ, Kise said.
Aomine gave him and are you serious look.Â
âKise you....jeez I donât even know what to say to you.â, Aomine said.
âIt was his idea.â, Kuroko said.
âKUROKOCCHI!â
You laughed. âReally? Well did you guys lose or something? You thought the baby was going to have his hair?â, you asked ruffling Aomineâs hair.
âOi, is that an insult?â, Aomine said half glaring at you.
âNo, Iâm just saying my genes are stronger than yoursâ, you teased.
âIâll show you whoâs the stronger one the next time we-Ouch jesus-â, Aomine cursed as you smacked the back of his head.
âWell, I guess thatâs done with. Weâll be leaving now. See you both soonâ, Akashi said as he gave you and Aomine a polite nod before leaving. Soon everyone left and you sighed.
âDaikiâ
âYeah?â
âI have to breastfeed them now.â
âHoly shit, can I have some-OW JESUS WOMAN THIS IS THE THIRD TIME!â
âTHE THIRD TIME YOUâRE ACTING LIKE A PERVERT!â
A few years later
âKurokocchi! Kurokocchi do you see that?!â, Kise whisper screamed.
âSee what, Kise-kun?â, Kuroko asked.
âBlue strands of hair!â
Kuroko looked over to the two identical children as they wrestled each other on the carpet. Their hair was indeed turning a dark shade of blue.
âSo what do we do, Kise-kun?â, Kuroko asked.
âHm...I have an ideaâ
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
âThank you for having us today, [F/N]. That was a lovely mealâ, Akashi said.
â[F/N]-chinâs food is the best.â, Murasakibara said.
âIt is quite good, I agreeâ, Midorima added on.
âIâm glad you guys liked itâ, you said smiling.
As they put on their shoes you noticed their facial expressions turn confused.
âIs this....yogurt?â, Midorima asked horrified.
Your eyes widened and then you frowned. âBoys!â, you yelled for your kids.
âYes mom?â, they both asked.
âBoys, did you put yogurt in your unclesâ shoes?â, you asked sternly.
âYeah! But Kise oji-san and Kuroko oji-san told us to!â, one of them said.
You looked around and saw Kise doubling over in laughter while Kuroko just stood there.
âIt was his idea, [F/N]-san. I had nothing to do with thisâ, Kuroko said.
You sighed, âKise, what on earth were you thinking?â
âKurokocchi and I won the bet! Look, theyâre starting to have blue hairâ, he said happily.
âHeh, told you I was the stronger oneâ, Aomine said smirking.
âWell, since Daiki is so strong, and Kise-kun is in such a good mood, the two of you can get on with cleaning their shoes. Nowâ, you snapped.
âHah?!â, Aomine exclaimed.
â[F/N]-cchi! Thatâs not fair!â, Kise whined.
âThatâs what you get for spoiling my kids, you idiots.â
Different anon your favorites couples in attack on titan, Haikyuu and kuroko no basket
For SnK, I have only ever had one favorite couple and that was Erwin and Levi. They were literally bonded, if you are familiar with the story line at all. I canât, personally, imagine either of them even remotely being interested in a different person. Not after they met each other.
Haikyuu is so full of couples itâs crazy. First and foremost I love Kageyama and HInata. Whatâs not to love about them? They were each others firsts in so many ways, and they need each other to become the people they are meant to be. I also like Daichi and Suga, mama and papa Karasuno are one of the most balanced couples in any anime Iâve watched (this would be romantically or not). I enjoy Ukai and Takeda. I think there is so much potential for fun and merriment with those two. I have some others but they are not anything I am thoroughly attached to. I like Kuro and Tsukki, but I also understand Tuskki and Yamaguchi and Kuroo and Kenma.
Kuroko no Baskue is also another ship laden show. I will always and forever LOVE Kagami and Kuroko. This is another couple where the word soulmate would apply. They are two halves of the same person. I like Midorima and Takao, opposites coming together to make a beautiful fit. To a lesser extent I like Murasakibara and Tatsuya and Aomine and Kise, however I also like the idea of Aomine and Momoi. I guess you could call me a Holy Quartet shipper in this show, but the Kagami/Kuroko and Midorima/Takao are my primary and non-splitable couples. (I am aware splitable is not a word but Iâm tired and I canât vocabulary anymore)
AO3
âAre you sure heâs alright, Midorima-kun?â
Kagami was swimming. His head was fuzzy, somewhere neither here nor there, and unable to focus. There were so many voices around him, blending together into a cacophony of sound. Except one voice stood out, gentle and soft, and Kagami latched onto it.
âHeâs fine. Heâll come around soon.â
âHeâs a breather? Why didnât you say so, Kurokocchi?â
âLeave it to Tetsu to bring a breather. This should be good.â
âPlease be quiet, Aomine-kun,â the same gentle voice said. âI think heâs waking up.â
He tried to crack his eyes open, even though his body didnât want to cooperate. His vision was bleary, just smears of colors and shapeless faces. The first thing he saw was blue hovering over him. So much blue that he felt like he was drowning and resuscitating at the same time.
His gaze shifted away to the other person above him. And all he saw was yellow. Golden eyes that matched blonde hair, framed neatly into a fine suit of pinstripes and silk ties. A sunshine smile sat against the rotting color of his skin.
Kagamiâs eyes snapped open as a scream lodged in his throat.
He was blinded by the color that exploded across his irisesâneon greens, luminescent purples, startling reds. Later, heâd realize it was a bar, with kaleidoscopic bottles and crooked stools. In the back of his mind, he thought it was incredible compared to his greyscale life.
But at the time, all he could focus on was the patrons.
The very dead patrons.
A rainbow of skeletons and dead bodies surrounded him, missing limbs and eyes and even heads entirely. Their skeletal grins met his terrified stare, greeting him as if he were an old friend visiting. Between the spiders crawling up the walls, the roaches at home on the tables, and the cadavers looking at him, Kagamiâs spine was little more than a jelly rod.
âHello!â the yellow-eyed corpse chimed, all cheerful and decaying daisies. âWelcome to our bar!â
Adrenaline and terror shot down to Kagamiâs first, sending it hurtling towards the manâs face. He barely dodged out of the way with a shriek. Grabbing hold of the blue-eyed corpse, he hid behind him with a pout.
âKurokocchi! You brought a crazy one!â
âHeâs not crazy, Kise-kun. Heâs in shock.â
âWhere the hell am I?!â His voice echoed, but it was still drowned by the chatter and music.
âI told you, youâre in our bar!â His yellow eyes widened in understanding. âOh! But for you, I guess itâs more like an underworld. Weâre all dead!â His voice suddenly wilted, âEven though I used to not be dead.â
Kagami blanched. âIâm dead?!â
The other figureâthe corpse from before, his mind unhelpfully suppliedâmoved to knock the yellow-eyed man in the ribs, producing an unsettling arrangement of xylophone cracks. âNot now, Kise-kun.â
Then those blue eyes were on him again, and his hands started shaking. He wasnât sure if it was out of fear or fascination. Either way, he was just as trapped in that unblinking gaze as he had been in the forest.
âPlease calm down. Youâre not dead. I brought you here.â He was calm and composed, his palm held out to Kagami. His voice was light, feathery around the syllables, and soothing, like water to a burn.
But that didnât stop Kagami from nearly shrieking when he saw the hand held out to him was all bone.
âWhy would you bring me here?!â He punctuated each word with a backwards scoot across squeaky floorboards.
âWell,â the corpse said, as if it were obvious. âA corpse certainly canât carry a body into town. People would talk.â
âI told you he would freak, Tetsu. They always do.â
He snapped around towards the bar, where dark-skinned man with navy eyes scowled at him. The man looked normal enough, or at least his skin was a normal color and he wore some type of officerâs uniform instead of a suit. But when he knocked back his drink of choice, it started to leak out of pinholes on the front of his shirt, like a balloon poked with needles.
It was too much. It was really, really too much.
Quick thinking had never been Kagamiâs strong suit, but instinct was. So he scrambled off the ground and reached for the first object that could be used as a weapon. His hand wrapped around what could be the hilt of a sword, ready to bash anybodyâs head in.
âGet back! Right now! I haveââ He jerked to bring the handle forward, only for it to barely budge.
Confused, he turned to look, and realized it was indeed a sword. A sword that was attached to a person. Through a person.
He almost screamed again. But he had to make do with what he had. Fight or flight.
âI, uh⊠I have this dwarf! Iâll use him!â Kagami cried, yanking the sword harder so the redhead attached moved with it. He started to consider picking the shorter up and just tossing him at the crowd, when his red hair began to swivel. A heterochromatic set of red and gold eyes craned completely backwards to glare at him, the intent to kill pouring from him.
âYou will release me. Now.â
Another strangled screech left his throat as he dropped the sword, backing away as quickly as he could. He tried to back up until he hit a door, then keep backing up until he ended up somewhere that made sense. Unfortunately, all he managed to do was bump into someoneâsomethingâelse.
He turned, and his gaze went up and up and up, staring at what had to be a giant with purple hair. Purple hair and an incredibly large knife stuck in his head, blade and handle jutting out from his temple. The giant leaned towards Kagami with a plate of what he would say were pastries, if pastries came with centipedes sprinkled on them.
âKuro-chin,â he drawled, âyour husband is trying to leave.â
âH-h-husband?!â Kagami immediately backed the other way.
âHeâs not my husband, Murasakibara-kun,â the corpse interjected. âWe havenât gotten to know each other yet.â
Jaw dropping, he barked to the pale blue figure. âWhat do you mean yet?!â
Suddenly, a clang of piano keys rang out, as if someone slammed their hands down all at once. Kagami thought the music had been coming from a record player, but it was with the sound he realized it came from a grand piano in the corner of the room. It was occupied by a man with skin the color of sickness, as he peered over the top of his music sheet with a scowl.
âKuroko,â he said, pushing up his cracked glasses with a bandaged hand, âcould you silence him? Heâs as loud as Kise when he first arrived.â
âI wasnât that bad!â the yellow man protested.
âYou cried for a week about how you were too young to die.â
âI was too young to die!â
âHeâs adjusting, Midorima-kun,â the blue corpse bowed in apology. âItâs normal for the living to yell during this, I believe.â
âForgive me, sir!â someone interrupted from beside Kagami. When he turned to look, he felt all the blood rush from his face, his head reeling.
A head. It was just a head, carried on a platter by a headless body.
âYou must be terribly thirsty!â it continued. âCan I get you anything? I am the head waiter around here.â
No. No, no, no. Fuck this.
Kagami had seen enough. He had heard enough. He was ready to leave. Now.
So he ran. His feet took off towards the nearest door, all but ripping it off its hinges as he tore into the street.
The last thing he heard was the gentle voice of blue eyes again, saying, âIzuki-senpai, your bad joke scared him off.â
Once outside, he thought that everything would turn back to normal. Heâd step back through whatever hallucinatory portal heâd come through, and wake back up in his bed where his biggest concern was some dumb wedding. That was not going to happen, not after all this.
But nothing was ever that easy.
Instead, he was in the middle of a dilapidated town of dynamic polychrome. Each building was a different color, crooked and slanting in ways that defied physics, and yet had creatures entering and leaving. Everything looked so different, but it all looked the same to him. The decaying signposts covered in spider webs didnât help either, as they pointed places with creepy names Kagami was sure he didnât want to visit.
He picked a random cobblestone road and took off, dodging ghost carriages and skeleton horses. He didnât bother to look back, and didnât even bother to look where he was running, just so long as it was the opposite direction of the bar.
Which made him bump into someone.
âSorry!â he yelled out of reflex.
The man looked normal. His eyes were closed shut, but there was no rotting skin, no weapons poking out of his body. Just an average looking guy on his average way like he was in an average town.
Until the man tipped his whole head to the side, a sliver of skin the only thing keeping it attached.
âItâs alright! Are you lost? Can I help you?â
Kagami grit his teeth against another scream, and took off running without saying another word.
He ran and ran, but no matter how fast he ran, he couldnât escape this upside-down world. He came across three corpses on a street cornerâtwo with brown hair and one baldâplaying instruments in a cheerful beat. It took quite a leap for him to make it over their cello made of bones. Then there was a couple, a small girl and a guy with bent glasses on his nose, who were admiring coffins. When he avoided them, he ended up knocking over several caskets and apologized on instinct again.
Eventually, when his breath grew heavy, he came to a set of stairs. If this wasnât a dream, and he really was in hell, then going up would be the best way out, right? He bounded up the stairs, taking three or four at a time. He was almost there, breaching the top, where home would be another step closer.
When the blue corpse appeared out of nowhere, like heâd been waiting there the whole time.
Kagami tried to do an about-face and run back down, only for his feet to skid on the steps. His arms pin wheeled as he tried to catch himself, but he could already feel himself start plunging. Gravity clawed at him, dragging him back into the depths of hell.
He was going to die. He was going to die, and wake up in the same damn place.
A hand of bones reached out and snatched the lapels of his suit, leaving him parallel to the ground. Another hand as cold as death grabbed his wrist. With a grip stronger than he expected from the dead, he was hauled back up onto solid ground.
As soon as he was on both feet, the corpse huffed out a huge breath, bending over to rest his hands on his knees. âPlease be more careful. Iâm not very strong and we may both end up at the bottom next time.â
Kagami glanced back and forth between the dead man before him and the stairs of death behind him. Red caught on blue as they stared at each other. For a moment, it felt like they didnât need words at all, like they could have an entire conversation through gazes and irises.
It was interrupted by a blink. âAre you okay?â
ââŠYouâre a corpse.â Kagami said dumbly.
âI am dead, yes,â blue eyes said, dusting off his suit. âIâd like if you didnât remind me.â
He was about to ask how he could possibly forget that of all things, with his skin a mystifying blue, metacarpals for a hand, and a hole in his cheek.
But then the worst thing heâd seen in his life, worse than anything heâd seen in this hellish landscape, stepped from around the corpseâs ankle.
It was small, its tiny nails clacking on concrete as it bounced in place. A bandage was wrapped around its middle, tied in a neat bow on its back, matching the one fastened on its left ear. It was all black, white, and wagging tail, with a neat set of stitches around its paws. Most unsettling of all, its eyes were just as blue and unblinking as the corpse beside it.
He stared in horror, nose wrinkled. âWhat is that? What the hell is that?â
The corpse bent down and actually picked up the little monster, scratching behind its ears as the beast licked his face.
âThis is Nigou. He helped me find you.â
âThat is a demon.â
A pout crossed undead lips as he looked to Kagami in surprise, wrinkle forming on his forehead. âPlease be nicer when addressing Nigou.â
Kagami balked so hard he nearly fell back down the stairs.
âBe nicer?! You want me to be nicer?! After youâve dragged me toâto whatever the hell this place is! While youâre a corpse, Iâm possibly dead, and thatâs a dog!â
The corpse blinked. âDo you not like dogs?â
âNo, I donât, but thatâs not the point!â
Those blue eyes just stared at him (both sets of them actually) and Kagami felt like he was walking into a thick fog. He had no idea where he was going, no concept of anything outside of those eyes. While it was terrifying, chills racing down his neck, he still found himself creeping closer. Like all those times before, when he looked for too long, he started drowning.
Anyone, whether dead or not, who would risk themselves to help someone else couldnât be all bad. Kagami felt it in his gut, and he decided to trust that.
âYouâreâŠKuroko? Tetsu?â He rubbed at his nape. âThatâs what they called you back there.â
The corpse made a face. âPlease donât call me Tetsu.â Then he bowed. âI am Kuroko Tetsuya. But Iâm afraid I donât know your name.â
âKagami. Kagami Taiga.â
âKagami-kun,â Kuroko said, testing the syllables. âWhat a strange name.â
âYeah, I donât wanna be called strange by you.â
Kuroko paused. Then actually laughed. It was such a light and airy sound, chiming around them with quiet mirth. Kagami couldnât help but smile back it was so infectious.
When his laughter died down, Kuroko glanced at him before walking off in the opposite direction. Kagami stood there, staring after his too graceful steps. HeâŠwasnât going to just leave him here, was he? He took a few steps after him without thinking, mouth working around words he didnât know to say.
Nigou still tucked under his arm, Kuroko looked back and gestured with his head. âCome with me for a moment, please.â
He shouldnât. He had no reason to.
But Kagami followed him.
Tugging at his tie as they walked down streets and up more stairs, Kuroko led him to a clearing with a bench. It was surrounded by coffins and empty urns, but it was simple. Just a plain wooden bench made of jagged planks, so normal that Kagami nearly wept.
Then he saw the view, and his breath left him.
They were on an overhang, looking out over the entire nightmare town. A million stars twinkled over the kaleidoscope landscape, as bright and vibrant a place as Kagami had ever dreamed. The crooked rainbow of buildings glimmered like a smile, the roofs like teeth as people walked into its gaping jaw.
âWowâŠâ
A thunk sounded out behind him. His focus switched back to the corpse that led him here, who had taken up residence on the bench. His skeleton hand picked up a skull, one of the many random remains that were littered everywhere, tossed it at one of the urns. He missed spectacularly, but it hopped back for him to try again.
Kagami realized he was staring, head tilted and brows furrowed in a confused scowl. Kurokoâs free hand patted the seat beside him, an unspoken invitation left to Kagamiâs discretion. He chalked it up to whatever temporary insanity he was suffering, and took his place on the bench as skulls were continuously thrown at urns.
âWhat the hell are you doing?â he finally asked.
âItâs a game I made up. To pass the time.â Another shot, another miss. âEvery time I make it, I get two points.â
Kagami watched him curiously as he missed shot after shot. âYouâre not very good, are you?â
âIâm the best player there is.â
âItâs because youâre the only player, isnât it?â
By the twitch of pale lips, he knew he was right.
He watched until his hand trembled, as if it subconsciously yearned to join in. Like everything else, he knew that he shouldnât, especially since he still wasnât convinced this wasnât a hellish fever dream. But his mouth was moving before he thought any better.
âHey, lemme try. But maybe with something less dead?â
Kuroko paused and blinked up at him.
He flushed. âFine! At least something thatâs not a skull!â
Kuroko searched around his seat, then handed him some stray sheets of paper with his bony hand. Kagami snatched them before wadding them up, crushing a sheet between his palms. He tossed one towards an urn. It sunk in perfectly.
He really, really liked that.
There was something captivating and fun about it, something that felt right. Enough so that he grabbed another sheet of paper right after. Crumped it, then sunk it again effortlessly. Something sparked to life inside him, somewhere deep. An ember catching fire.
They sat together without saying much of anything. The only sound were the clunk of skulls and the rustle of papers, as they pitched their projectiles one after another after another. Kagami kept a mental tally of how many points they each had. Fourteen for him, two for his dead companion. Eventually, a skull was thrown and it didnât return.
Turning to him with a smirk, Kagami teased, âI guess Iâm the best player now, huh?â
Kagami could see the twitch of Kurokoâs lips through the hole in his cheek. âMaybe it was a terrible idea to bring you here, Iâve lost my title.â
Now that he wasnât running for his life and could actually stop to breathe, the reality of everything flooded him. He looked between the powder blue skin beside him and his own warm tan, realizing that heâd been talking to someone who had died. He swallowed, needing to double check.
âSoâŠIâm not dead, right?â he managed, voice shaky at the alternative.
âNo, youâre not. I told you, you fainted and I brought you here. I wasnât sure where else to go.â Kuroko tilted his head in thought, glancing up at the starry sky. âActually, my leg fell off about three times carrying you. Youâre heavier than you look, and you already look heavy.â
His eye twitched. âHey, watch it!â
His lips twitched again. Then Kuroko turned to look at him, his wide stare pinning Kagami to the bench. âAre you okay? Will you go back to The Seven Bones with me?â
âThe Seven Bones?â
âYes, the bar from before.â
A dozen questions ran through Kagamiâs head.
Why should he go back there? Why didnât he demand for this guy to take him home already? And honestly, why would Kuroko even want Kagami to go back with him? After he screamed and yelled and tried to deck someone in the face?
There were so many questions, but all he managed was, ââŠWhy?â
âI said it before, we havenât gotten to know each other. ButâŠâ Kuroko hesitated, averted his eyes and twisted his fingers in the edges of his frayed suit. âI would like to, if thatâs okay.â
This place was an absolute nightmare, a cocktail of his worst fears. It even included dogs somehow, a freaking zombie dog. If there was anything he shouldnât want to do, it was to go back in the thick of it all. Where ghosts and ghouls could tear him apart and leave his remains to litter the street like the skulls Kuroko had been tossing.
But, when he met Kurokoâs crystal clear gaze, Kagami wanted to trust him. After not trusting anyone but Tatsuya and Alex for so long, he wanted to put his faith in a skeleton hand and hope for the best. Kuroko had saved him from a messy end on a flight of stairs, showed him this place, and taught him such a fun game.
Maybe Kuroko really did have some sort of hypnotic spell. Maybe that was why Kagami found himself agreeing.
âYeah, thatâs fine,â he said. âBut, why in the world would you want to know me?â
âItâs not every day you meet someone who tries to punch a corpse.â
Kagami grinned, wild and reckless, and he realized it was something he hadnât done in ages. âWere you a weird guy when you were alive too?â
A smile graced over Kurokoâs face, teeth glinting through his missing cheek. Somehow though, it made him look less like a dead body and more like a normal person.
He looked like he hadnât smiled in ages either.
âIâve been told I was.â
KnB Overdrive Stageplay Finale (Live-viewing) Highlights
Today was the last performance of Overdrive that they screened in movie theaters across the country. My city was lucky enough to get it so I was able to watch it on the big screen with all the camera zoom-ins. (Itâs like watching the DVD early)
For the whole stage report, please click here (itâs long). Here are some highlights that couldnât be noticed (or as easily) in a live play and some stuff only in todayâs finale.
Seeing the play with the cameras zooming in is so much different. Everything seems so close. Seeing the actorsâ expressions during the dance in Rimfire was great. Especially for Hanamiyaâs face. The dance was probably my favorite part of the play.
Kiyoshi really is a happy and smiley person. His actor does a good job portraying him.
For the finale, Izuki made puns for each rival school.Â
Because the cameras zoom in on the actors, you get a REALLY good view of shirtless Midorima, Takao, Hyuuga, and Kiyoshi when theyâre in the bathtub.
Takao spent a minute or so singing Catal Rhythm in the tub like how he does in the anime NG shuu (with Midorima yelling at him to shut up)
Hayakawa praised everyone in Kaijo, except Kasamatsu who wasnât pleased. Instead he called Kasamatsu short. Kasamatsu went over to Moriyama to complain who then stood on his tiptoes to make Kasamatsu look shorter.
meanwhile Moriyama more than usual really made an effort to flirt with the audience whenever he could
I canât stress enough how good Kuroba Mario is at playing Kise. He IS Kise. His face expressions are on point in every scene, from being smiley to frustrated, to serious, to pained, and he can quickly change it too. Even when he was copying Aomine he instantly changes his face expression to mimic Aomine. You can even see him mumbling to himself as heâs trying to copy Aomine, about how he needs to focus more, etc. Â I said this in my report but he really does cry when he loses. You could see his tears (and snot) falling from his face as Kasamatsu tries to help him stand up.Â
Kasamatsuâs crying face was also heartbreaking *sobs*
Midorima actually smiled as Kuroko got past Shuutoku with his Vanishing Drive, impressed by him.Â
he also smiled as he admitted he surpassed his limits long ago
Todayâs halftime announcement Kuroko: Kagami-kun, 20 min break. Kagami: Yeah Kuroko: Kagami-kun. If I win at Janken, make it a 1 hour break *they tie* Kagami: That was close! *they do it again and Kagami wins* Kagami: 20 min break! Kuroko: ....... *still standing there with his hand out in disbelief* (Poor Kuroko never gets his long break)
When Midorima calls Kise stupid, Kise actually pouts and grumbling at him.
Takao tries to get out of pulling the cart by running away. He tries to get Midorima to look away by saying a UFO (which didnât work), eventually saying oshiruko which got him to look away for a second, but he still caught Takao.Â
no janken with the GoM this time. I guess they cut that out for the Osaka runs because they didnât do that on Saturday either.
Narrator Tsuchida during the Seirin flashback pretends Kagami is a vending machine (as he does in every play), this time Kuroko goes over and tries to do it too. Kagami slapped him.
Tsuchida being stupid made Ono Kensho laugh that he had to turn away to regain his Kuroko face. You were able to see him smiling though.Â
As the Seirin senpais were shouting on the roof, 3 teachers and the vice-principal came to scold them. They were the captains of each time aka Imayoshi, Kasamatsu, Ootsubo, and the Overdriver (prop guy)actors.Â
Imayoshi put tape on his nose to make his voice sound stupid
Overdriver was the female Vice-Prinicpal XD
When Kiyoshi got smashed in the face, even Kaijo and Touou in the stands above cringed or hid their faces.
Hanamiyaâs actor does a really good job at being creepy, both in face expression and his voice. Not to mention he was a good dancer too. He made sure to be extra creepy for the finale. When he confronted Kuroko during the matchâs halftime he literally got up in his face and even put his fingers underneath Kurokoâs chin before Kuroko slapped him away. He also crawled on the ground like the Grudge or something.
The cameras really zoom in to show how serious and angry Kuroko and Kiyoshi can get.
After Kirisakiâs loss and Kiyoshi praises Hanamiyaâs last shot, you can just see how conflicted and frustrated Hanamiya is in his face.Â
Todayâs curtain call greetings were done by Kagami and Kuroko!
Kagamiâs greeting was a bit long,but typical thanks and how happy he was about the play, etc. He says that the most âOverdriveâ moment, aka surpassing your limits, was Midorima when he surpassed his during the match against Seirin.
Kuroko mentions how this past year he did Last Game, and when that finished he felt that perhaps KnB was over, but then he was still going to be in Overdrive so he didnât feel sad at all. As of right now thereâs no confirmation of a 3rd play yet but he hopes there will be one.Â
There were FIVE curtain calls. Thatâs A LOT. 3-4 is already a lot for a finale so thatâs impressive.Â
They were supposed to stop at 4 but the audience kept clapping for more (even when the intercom was telling them to be safe on their way home)
Aomine and Kise held hands and bowed together, making fangirls scream XD
Shuutoku and Kaijou were dorks and waved at the cameras that were used for the live viewing
For the fourth one (because it was supposed to be the last one), Kuroko and Kagami start to walk off, but then they run back to the main live-viewing camera and give (us) a fist bump. XD
For the last one no one knew what to do because it wasnât expected, so they suggested everyone including the audience and live-viewing audiences to do a big huddle cheer
Riko: KUROSUTE! (Kuro Stage)
Everyone: OOH!!!!!!!!!!!
And thatâs it! If you can afford the DVD/Blu-Ray please buy it and support them to encourage them to make more! And also because the play itself was SO GOOD. Info on buying them can be found on my post here. (Updated info: Amiami, CDJapan, and Amazon already have them up for preorder now )
