Fresh Primer - A SKINBLEND FOR TS3

hello everyone! I am so happy to finally upload Fresh Primer, I know it was a more anticipated project of mine! this skin is a mix of Ephemera’s Fresh Skin and Kurasoberina’s Primer Skin...two out of three of my favorite skins to exist for TS3! as mentioned in this post, this concept was made sometime last year right before my first PC died on me and I am happy that I could finally get back around to it!

the name itself is self-explanatory of how it came to be, but I had this idea of thinking of a "fresh" coat of paint for skins that are so loved in this community! but enough of me rambling on, that tends to happen, especially because I am sick right now with a cold.

neroli - a skin blend for TS3

Ok no more group pics because I got sick of posing all my sims together.

This skin is a mix of Ephemera's Freckle R skin, Realistic skin, Fresh skin, Buffy's V4 skin (used as the base), and a hint of Noodlesim's Apple Cider Vinegar V2 skin. Yeah, a real concoction, I know.

It favours a more realistic sunkissed look, and has freckle details on the teen, adult and elder faces. Male textures have very subtle freckles on the face and some light hair on the body; female textures have stronger freckles on the face and the standard smooth Ephemera body texture.

It reminds me of a carefree day spent in the sun...

I think Ephemera's realistic skins are gorgeous but I found it hard to make them work for my sim style. So this blend is my way of adapting those realistic details for my own aesthetics. Personally I love how it came out.

Thank you @sim-songs for encouraging me to finish this up and get it ready for general use, because after I finished the adult stages I was ready to leave it hanging in forever-wip-purgatory. And thank you to @tau1tvec @descendantdragfi for testing an early version of this skin blend many months ago - it's finally done now. 🤪

4t3 Elliesimple Two-Piece Pajamas

Finally, my first successful conversion...! Hopefully...

I have a pair of pajamas in real life just like this set, and I wanted to bring it to The Sims 3! In addition, I felt teens had limited clothing options, so I made sure to convert it for them, too!

I'm definitely a huge perfectionist, so I feel like I have to get everything right when I make/convert something. I hope there aren't any serious / overt issues with the CC!

Begrudingly* so, I've added one (and only one) swatch; if I was any good at Photoshop, I would have made the patterns on it an overlay, but there are small dots and a few other details that made it even more difficult to remove the white background, and the magic wand tool haaaates me. It's cute anywayyyy!

Ellie Williams (inspired by The Last of Us) for The Sims 3

Behold: my pride and joy. You could say that this character is the reason I started creating CC in earnest. Now it's been almost 10 years since I first saved a version of her in CAS and here she finally is! A whole depressing heart-wrenching sequel to her story and a live action adaptation has come out since then!

So maybe this is the opportunity to give her the fun-filled tragedy-less life she deserves?????? Perhaps???????

If you're up for it, Ellie comes with brand new CC including her hair, Fall Hoodie, Summer Top and an edit of the Diesel High Kee jeans I recently released and a soft-launched slider that is soooooooo niche that I don't think merits its own post. fresh primer has been born

fresh primer was a skin concept I made sometime last year, however, I never got to finish it because I lost my files when my last PC died on me. fresh primer is a combination of Ephemera's Fresh Skin and Kurasoberina's Primer Skin...I honestly loved how this skin turned out! 😭

Boy, what a wild ride it was to convert these shoes oof 😑 I wanted to do some more shoes conversion but now idk Also thank you @simlicious for once again listening to my cries about meshing lol

Known issues under the cut.

One of the things that were making me pull my hair was the fact that, no matter what I did and what I fiddled with, the shoes ended up with a some sort of seam in the ankles, then I noticed that it was only occuring with sims that used (default) Kurasoberina's Primer skin. Why? I really have no idea 🤷‍♀️ It is only perceptible when you zoom the camera very close to the feet tho.

In the right, a sim wearing Primer skin, and on the left a sim with another ND skin

Also you can see in the sim on the right a more noticeable seam in the back of the ankle. It is there because the OG TS4 shoe had one more vertice there, and since I didn't want to make any more mess I just left it there and tried to position it the best that I could x.x
