JEWELRY RAFFLE FOR PALESTINIAN SURVIVAL AID -- EXTENDED

Due to a lack of entries, a need to get this jewelry off my hands, and these 3 fundraisers' need to reach their goals ASAP, I've decided to extend my authentic crystal jewelry raffle for another month, or until I feel I have enough entries to do the raffle properly.

A local artisan was kind enough to provide me with 8 pieces of authentic crystal jewelry to offer for donation funds supporting three different campaigns for Palestinian families looking to evacuate Gaza or in need of survival aid while in Gaza.

These families are:

Ahmed and Maram’s family (in Euro)

Mohammed Shamia’s family (in Swedish kroner)

Marah Atallah’s family (in USD)

All families are 100% legitimate — I have been in contact with Maram and Ahmed for months, who have provided me multiple pictures, videos, and recordings of their situation. They have been featured in a video by YouTuber Ro Ramdin and have been vetted by @/el-shab-hussein. I am also in consistent contact with their beneficiary through a group chat who updates us on the movement of all money.

Mohammed’s family has multiple pictures and videos of their situation on family member Ahmad’s Twitter/X account proving their legitimacy. I have personally communicated with Ahmad and his history online stretches back far before 10/7. His campaign has been SEVERELY stagnant, often going 20+ days before receiving a donation. He is trying to raise enough to evacuate his sister and her two children. He has had 2 donations in 29 DAYS!

I personally connected Marah to the one managing her campaign, who is a friend of mine. Marah is also friends in-person with other verified families over on Twitter/X, where she posts pictures and videos of she and her family’s situation. They use all money raised to survive displacement in Gaza and to save up enough to register for evacuation when the time is right. Marah’s campaign has been shared by @/90-ghost.

i had the brush set too small at first & didnt realize until i was already too far along- full body diamond authority is ok w the shaded fit & wings but the headshot is just. eh. kinda dislike it. im fucking obsessed with the other headshot tho

giyuu's a lapis along w tsutako, normal lapis terraforming job but some shit went down, tsutako got shattered, giyuu was left to fend for herself until she ran into a lost kunzite fresh out the ground (she had a slight imperfection, showed up as a spot along her cheek (corner of mouth to center base of ear) that looks like raw kunzite/ yk when a helmet or somethn gets shaved down sliding against a road? that)

they tough it out in the wilds for a while, they got attacked and accidentally fused to defend themselves, kept fusing when they were in trouble after that- yadda yadda meet makomo (also a gem) & sakonji and learn how to be their own person, getting their own names (giyuu got Giyuu, the kunzite got Sabito) and meeting a group of other rogue gems & making human friends

sabito got particularly interested in the concept of human masculinity & highly respected the closest man she knew, sakonji- transed his gender & chose to dedicate himself to protecting those he cares about. giyuu is very close to him and also changed pronouns & vibes bc sabito loved it so much, though he doesnt really care about human perceptions of gender (hes a pretty rock made of light, the fuck does he need a gender for? (sabito doesnt see it that way, he never got indoctrinated/had a formal gem education or whatever, so hes just vibin))

something something giyuu found a way to precisely control water, and what is ice if not Structured Water. sabito never got whatever his job as a kunzite was, but he has a similar ability as Pearl where hes able to summon a blade from his gem (rectangular cut, back of his left hand). when theyre fused they become Hawk's Eye (also know as blue tiger's eye), able to both control water(& subsequently ice) and form blades along his arms and feet; the blades on his feet allow him to ice skate, the blades on his arms are attached at two points on the forearm and is curved over the hand- the blade's allowed to spin around the arm, tip of the blade is at the point of rotation so itll be in the same spot above the hand no matter what side of the arm its on

The third chapter of my KunZoi college AU fic Coincidences Become Chances is really long, so it’s taking a long time. The first draft was over 17,000 words, so it took a long time to write that and it’s taking a long time now to polish it into shape. Maybe the final draft will come out less than 17,000 words, but it’s going to be long either way. I want to take my time with it because I want my OTP to have the best story I can write, but since it’s taking so long, here’s a sample from the current draft. It might not be exactly what the final version will be, but I think it’s decent enough to give a taste of what’s coming.

The bar was busy, but Xavier managed to edge himself and Kamil into a spot against the counter. Kamil caught sight of the same bartender from O'Sullivan's rapidly making drinks, with his pink hair and lavender outfit making him look like part of the decor. "Hawk!" Xavier yelled. Unlike the girls, Hawk didn't look overjoyed to see the two of them, but he made his way over. Kamil could barely hear what Xavier said to Hawk, but when Xavier held up two fingers, Kamil pulled out his card and waved it at Hawk. "Hey!" Kamil yelled. "I'm getting all our drinks tonight." When Hawk placed two shots with limes on the counter, Kamil grabbed them both and downed one after the other. They nearly made him choke, but the sensation wasn't so bad after he bit into one of the limes. Xavier leaned against the counter and stared at Kamil. "Showing off, Professor Kunzite?"

"No, I just think you've had enough." Xavier stood very still for a long moment, not even blinking. He straightened up, folded his arms, and raised the fingers of one hand to rest under his chin, narrowing his eyes at Kamil. As Kamil felt the shots rush to his head and his lips beginning to tingle, he was enthralled by darkness creeping into Xavier's eyes. His mischievous smirk grew malevolent before Kamil's eyes, until he could almost call it frightening. Not to be outdone, Kamil crossed his own arms and gave Xavier his best practiced glare back. They stared each other down, until Xavier smacked his hand on the counter and screamed, "Oh, it's on!"

He whipped around toward the bar and flagged Hawk over, blocking Kamil from the bar even as Kamil tried to worm his way around Xavier. When Xavier secured two more shots, he glared at Kamil as he swallowed them both.

"All right, enough." Kamil waved over Hawk and ordered two rum and cokes. "Let's slow down."

"Why?" Xavier rested his elbow on the counter and propped his head under his knuckles, giving Kamil his evil smirk again. "Are you afraid I'll drink you under the table?"

"This isn't a fair competition." Kamil handed one of the rum and cokes to Xavier. "You obviously had a head start." He sipped his drink slowly, but Xavier chugged his own in two gulps. Xavier stuck his tongue out at Kamil as he slammed his glass down and flagged down Hawk again, for two wine glasses with something pink inside. He sipped his own while nudging the other toward Kamil. "I can wait for you to catch up." Kamil narrowed his eyes and chugged the rest of his rum and coke. He picked up the glass and stared at the liquid inside before taking a sip.

"What is this?" Kamil sneered. "Why is it pink?"

"It's rosé." Xavier gave Kamil his smirk again. "It's just their house wine."

"Do I look like the type who drinks rosé?"

Xavier pouted with huge eyes and twirled his hair. "What's wrong? Can't handle it?"

Kamil stifled a laugh as he took another sip and tried to tally up all the drinks he had so far. From the way his head was swimming and his lips and fingers tingled, he knew this was more than he had in years. But unlike every other time he drank, the loneliness and grief hadn't arrived. He didn't know what was different about this time, but if the horrible feelings hadn’t started by now, he was sure another drink wouldn’t make a difference. He drained his glass before Xavier did, and growled in his ear, "I can handle all the pink drinks."

"All of them, Professor Kunzite?" Xavier giggled. "I'm not sure even I can do that." He signaled Hawk and had him make pink drinks in martini glasses, with yellow candies floating in it. It was too sweet for Kamil's taste, but he wasn't going to let Xavier think he couldn't handle it. At least now he and Xavier sipped their drinks at a normal pace. Xavier was happy to explain what each drink was and tell stories about every time he had them. Kamil found Xavier's chatter made less and less sense but he wasn't sure if it was Xavier or himself, since he could hardly feel his face or fingers anymore.

so, as the next couple chapters for my main @smvillainsweek fic are going to take a while for me to finish, here's a bonus snippet for the free day (though it still fits under the theme of corruption) that takes place between the second and third chapters.

Zoisite marched into their rooms in a huff, only to sigh as he entered to see Kunzite pouring over papers at the table there. “You’re still at it? You promised you’d be done for the day hours ago.” 

There was no response.

“Kunzite?” 

He walked over and placed a hand on his shoulder. At the touch, Kunzite whirled around, with his fingers just beginning to spark with the light of a spell and his eyes a dull grey, unfocused. “Hey, it’s just me! All I did was say hi—you’re not usually this jumpy.”

Kunzite’s eyes widened as he took in what was before him. He shook his head. “I’m sorry—I didn’t hear you come in. I must have been more absorbed in the work than I thought. What time is it?”

“Far past time for you to go get something to eat, if you’ve been sitting here since I left you.” Zoisite said, and he sighed, letting go of the snide tone. “Come on, I’m worried about you. You’ve been so stressed the past few days. And what are you even working on that’s got you like this, anyway?”

“I’m looking at the records of who and how many people have been entering the Earth from the Silver Millenium. There’s something—”

“Really? That’s what has got you so stressed you forgot we were supposed to have dinner together?”

“We were—oh shit. That was tonight, wasn't it.”

“Yes, yes it is. Why do you think I’m dressed up like this?” Zoisite turned around, showing off how the green silk of his shirt shimmered in the light, and how it highlighted the embroidery of the floral patterns he so loved. He stopped when he was facing away from Kunzite, and made as if to walk out the door. “Though, I suppose since you’re so occupied with your work, I may as well just leave you to it.”

Kunzite stood up from the desk and put his arms around him. “I’m sorry, love. I got caught up in this, and I completely forgot. Can you find it in yourself to forgive me?”

“I don’t know…” he said, but he broke off in a giggle when Kunzite began to press kisses to the back of his neck. 

“How about now?” 

Zoisite wanted to melt back into Kunzite’s touch, but he decided he’d play hard to get for a while longer. “I think it’ll take more than a few kisses to get me to forgive you for standing me up like that.”

“What about some pretty words then? Like how absolutely ravishing you look in that outfit, or how incredibly sorry I am to have left you on your lonesome for so long? Or, would you prefer me to get on my knees?” His words were punctuated by kisses, and one of his hands began to slide down Zoisite’s leg as he murmured into his ear.

“Alright, alright, that’s enough, you flatterer.” Zoisite turned around and drew Kunzite into a long kiss. “I forgive you,” he said as he pulled away. “But, I’m still worried about you. You’ve hardly been doing anything but work the past few days, and I could have sworn you’d said you wouldn’t be as busy now as you had been recently. What’s going on?”

“Oh, forget about it for now.” Kunzite lifted Zoisite up in his arms and carried him to the bed. 

Zoisite frowned as Kunzite set him down. “I’m serious.”

“Fine. It’s the Moon, there’s something—” He stopped and sighed when he saw Zoisite’s blank stare. “You don’t see it.”

“You’re right, I don’t see it. I don't understand what it is that’s got you so worried.” He looked into Kunzite’s eyes, still the brilliant silver that he’d fallen in love with. “Just… just promise me that you’re okay?”

“I promise.” He started to undo the ties holding Zoisite’s shirt together. “Don’t worry, my love. It’ll be fine. I’m fine. Now, I think there is something far more enjoyable we could be doing, don’t you agree? ”

The caress of Kunzite’s hands on his skin thoroughly distracted Zoisite from his concerns and drove any worried thoughts from his mind, if only for a little while. For, as he lay in bed afterwards, with Kunzite’s strong arms around him, he couldn’t get rid of the sensation that was creeping up his spine, the unshakable feeling that something, somewhere, was going wrong.
