autism is so cool man. i can say something innocuous and completely true at work, like 'mackerel is a top tier fish', and people get giggly and tell me I'm so funny. what's funny about a nice firm fish with a subtle, almost earthy flavor? not sure. but people are offering me other objects and I can tell them if they're top tier or not. very fun.

one thing that has always bugged me with umineko is that i never know when i'm supposed to take things literally. that's why it took me the longest time to accept that eva really had found the gold, the literal gold. but what happens now is i might be understanding the meaning of metaphors in a literal way with the magical elements lmao. for example, if there are two chiester sisters around what that means is there are two people shooting guns, right? and if there are three chiester sisters what that means is there are three people shooting guns. or am i being too literal? and technically gaap's role is to make bodies disappear and make those holes appear in the ground. so if she's supposed to represent something in the real world, not necessarily a physical thing, then whatever she is has to be something with the intention of "appear as though bodies have been moved" and "appear as though a quick change of location has taken place". but that's definitely too literal lmao oh god

#umineko liveblog #if beatrice is functionally furniture then we might have the answer #kumasawa had full knowledge of the abuses shannon and kanon faced and did little more than watch from the sidelines #perhaps kumasawa similarly sat by and watched what happened to beatrice without lifting a finger to help #she believes in beatrice but she never respected beatrice because she let the cruelty happen without a word #worse because she acknowledges it as abuse and still remains on the fence. you could almost call it a betrayal #and if it happened to shannon and kanon then there's no reason why the same thing didn't happen to beatrice 30 years ago
