The first sign of trouble and the last coherent memory in Sara’s head. The moments afterward were in a miscellaneous jumble of thunderous bangs and a sickening feeling in the pits of her stomach. But seconds later, she recognized the oddity of the situation. She noticed the hand when her vision was restored - or, at least, what she assumed to be a hand. The limb was slimy with webbed fingers and scales scattered across what would be the wrist. It was an odd combination of human and aquatic.

As the hand lifted, Sara turned to her left when she noticed something flapping at the corner of her eyes. She nearly jumped when she saw a large fish-like tail at her side, extending under her head. As peculiar as it was, the appendage was quite majestic. The ombré of pinks and blues sparkled under the sun’s reflection, finishing with a crepe-colored caudal fin. Sara would have had a stronger reaction if she wasn’t so dazed but was still curious regardless. Her unexplained questions and light pressure on her arm led her to immediately turn her attention to the right.

And just then - that was Sara’s fatal mistake.

As her eyes traveled up the pale torso and seashell-themed bralette, she faced what could only be described as eerie beauty. It all started from the neck, being altered by what appeared to be many gills slashed across. Her eyes journeyed upwards to rose-colored lips that sourced the sedative tune. Behind them, Sara could see the tiniest fangs sticking out before being masked behind a tight smile.

Sara’s eyes continued upwards and passed by rounded cheeks and a pointed nose - both flushed light red. Her travel paused as she met another set of eyes - a gradient of deep indigo to the lightest pinks. Despite the lack of a pupil, these eyes were anything but soulless. Rather, it was like a vibrant spread of paints being mixed along a canvas. The more you stared, the more you were unknowingly drawn into the masterpiece. With the aid of the tranquilizing music, it became difficult to turn her gaze away.

A gust of wind brushed past them, kicking up the creature’s pinkish-blue hair. A hand reached up to tuck the hair strands behind a finned ear. Pearls were decorating the oceanic being’s ears, neck, and head. Once the shock started to wear off, Sara could piece every new sight together to get a complete visual of the artistry.

“How long will you keep staring without a word?” the woman spoke delicately, complimenting her angelic image.

“I-I apologize,” Sara stammered, sounding unusually nervous. “You’re just so…”

“You aren’t the first. But you’re certainly the most notable,” the woman smiled, stroking Sara’s cheek. “Although, if you had stared any longer, I would’ve suspected some sort of brain damage. You were in quite the wreckage.”

Sara attempted to move but every limb felt like it was being punctured with needles. She noticed that parts of her limbs were wrapped with bandages, with a part of her arm still being tended to.

“Since we’ll be in each other’s presence for a while, we should at least become familiar,” the hybrid woman continued. “Call me Kokomi. And you are…?”

“Sara…”

“Sara? Simple but endearing. Then, let me ask - are you afraid of me, Sara?”

Sara immediately shook her head, being compelled not to think.

“Then we’ll get along just fine - even better than fine,” Kokomi giggled. “Now, rest. I’ll prepare food for you once I’m finished.”

Scenario: Talking to them about modern wars

She couldn't help but wish that it was a bad joke at first, but she listened intently, and asked many questions. Some were for precautions in her line of work, others were slightly more for curiosity's sake. It's easy to tell which is which from the tone of her voice, much to her dismay.

She wanted to hear you talk about battle strategies, but sadly, the battles themselves were never the focus of general history much, to her dismay. You were able to tell her about larger strategies, however, which she did wish to hear more about.

What scared her the most were the motivations. She understood that wars were not a fight of good against evil, but even she was appalled when she heard the political issues that led to these conflicts.

Well, either that, or the sheer mass of numbers related to everything. Millions of deaths across the world, all just listed as data and passed off as history... It was terrifying for her to think about such large numbers.

And then the weaponry... She was actually interested in hearing about this quite decently, but after hearing the first few details, mainly gigantic bombs or mechanized guns, she was done.

As soon as she's done with this break of hers she's going to thoroughly rethink aggressive politics and the dangers of large-scale conflicts. Partly for her country, but she couldn't shake this fear for her men, herself, or even for you...

Ayato turns Halloween into an elegant and entertaining celebration. He organizes a private meeting at the Kamisato Estate, where he greets you with a knowing smile, wearing a discreet but intriguing costume. During the evening, Ayato proposes a “game of intrigue” that he has planned especially for the night: a series of riddles and mysteries to solve in the gardens. In each clue, you find details that reflect his intelligence and sense of humor. The night ends with a toast under the stars, where he tells you that the best part of this celebration has been being able to enjoy it with you.

Thoma goes out of his way to create the most fun and spooky Halloween night for the both of you. He invites you on a pumpkin hunt around Inazuma, each decorated with different “ghostly” expressions that he has painted. He tells you scary stories from his childhood as you both decorate pumpkins, and it’s not long before you end up laughing. Itto gets a little too excited about Halloween and decides to host a “scare contest” for the both of you. Comically dressed in an over-the-top oni costume, he tries to scare you, but ends up being the one who gets scared by the scary stories you tell him. He then hosts a contest of strength at his base, where you are the only participant. The night is filled with laughter and jokes, and when everything calms down, Itto sits next to you, saying that Halloween is even better when he’s with you, though he won’t admit it outright.

Shinobu plans a night of scary stories at a secret location she has decorated with lanterns and candles. Dressed in a dark and elegant ninja outfit, she guides you there while joking about the hidden dangers of the night. Although she tries to scare you with anecdotes about the spookiest places in Inazuma, her company makes you feel safe. At the end of the night, she offers you a protective amulet she has made herself and smiles at you, saying that although Halloween can be spooky, with her by your side nothing can go wrong.

Raiden Ei doesn't quite understand the concept of Halloween, but decides to give you a special audience in the Shogun's hall. The atmosphere is solemn, with decorations evoking Inazuma's past, and she appears in dark, enigmatic attire. She invites you to a special tea while telling you stories about the origin of the spirits in Inazuma and the legends of her time. Although the evening is serious and mystical, there is a sense of closeness in her tone, as if she is sharing something deeply personal with you.

Yae Miko is thrilled with Halloween and decides to add her own touch of mystery and charm. She invites you to the Grand Narukami Shrine, decorated with soft lights and candles. She greets you with a mischievous smile and tells you stories of the kitsune, enjoying your every reaction. As the night progresses, she sits next to you and, in a low voice, tells you about the secrets of the Shrine and the mystical nights of Inazuma. Gorou organizes a Halloween walk through the Watatsumi Island to show you the “history” of the place. Although he tries to be serious when telling legends of mysterious creatures and spirits, his innocent tone and occasional jumping around give him away. After the walk, he organizes a small bonfire, where you roast some snacks while he relaxes next to you. He eventually admits that Halloween can be a little scary, but with you by his side, he doesn’t feel so scared.

Kokomi uses Halloween as a night of respite and relaxation. She invites you on a nighttime stroll around Watatsumi Island, where she has decorated a special area with soft lanterns and sea flowers. As you walk together, she tells you about ancient legends of the island, stories that have been told for generations and that feel more real on Halloween. In the end, you sit near a moonlit waterfall, where Kokomi admits that sharing the night with you makes her feel a unique calm, as if Halloween were the perfect time to connect her stories with you.

Heizou turns Halloween into a perfect “mystery” night for the two of you. He invites you to join him on an investigation into pranks and “paranormal phenomena” that have arisen in the city. With a detective costume and a mischievous smile, he makes you follow clues and solve puzzles until you discover that he himself had planned all the “apparitions” and scares of the night. The evening is filled with laughter, and in the end, Heizou admits that the best mystery he has found is how you make every moment with him so exciting.

Can I please request Aqua(Konosuba), Kokomi, and Sara(both genshin) reacting to their s/o being attacked by giant fish monsters whenever they get close to so much as a pond, whether it makes sense for the monsters to be there or not, and only acting mildly inconvenienced by this?

(Konosuba/Genshin Impact) Aqua, Kokomi, and Sara's S/O being attacked by giant fish

Aqua has no idea where these damn fish keep coming from!

She has the ability to bring fish to her, but not S/O!...At least, none that she's aware of.

Even when they were at a fountain, a giant creature tried to take a bite out of S/O.

Which it did out of Darkness, but it had no effect on her, much to Darkness's dismay.

S/O's mundane reactions was similar to her own.

(S/O) "Damn it, not again...!"

(Aqua) "Seriously, again? Ugh, hang on I think I can use my powers to make these pests go away..."

(Kazuma) "The hell are you two so casual about, THIS IS A BATHTUB! WHO'S THE JACKASS PUTTING A SHARK IN HERE?!"

Aqua doesn't seem to think much on it.

Because she doesn't think much at all.

Kokomi's startled by the giant sea creatures that leap out after S/O, quickly repelling them with her own vision.

Everytime S/O is near a body of water, her stress levels spike up.

Which was unfortunate since Inazuma was entirely surrounded by a body of water, and her stress was already near peak.

She doesn't understand how S/O is so casual about it, as if they were dealing with this their entire life.

Archons, have they?!

(Kokomi) "Dear, please stay near me whenever we travel. It would bring me at least some modicum of peace of mind..."

As weird as it was, Sara kind of liked S/O getting attacked by these fish.

It was a form of training in her eyes, always ready to test her mettle whenever they travelled near water.

No doubt someone would get creative and possibly employ the same tactics on herself or the Raiden Shogun.

Every single aquatic creature that dared attack S/O was quick to meet with a thunderous demise.

Though this was her attitude near the oceans. As for ponds and small feet deep water-

(Sara) "Have you angered the gods in some way? It is physically impossible to be attacked by a fish every single day."

(S/O) "You get used to it."

(Sara) "...I do not know if you should."
